While the building itself is kinda old, they have done a pretty good job of updating the rooms and facilities. The bed was comfy. The room was clean. Water pressure in the shower was great. It was close enough to the highway to expedite getting back on the road, but not so close that you could hear cars driving by all night. To top it off, the continental breakfast was outstanding. There was a huge selection of hot and cold foods. I'm definitely staying here again next time I'm out that way. The price was a little steep considering Richfield isn't very big. Plus the age of the building is apparent when you walk down the hallways or around in the room. You can hear the floor boards creaking.
The staff was great... $90 for a room that should have been $50. No extras or bells and whistles The tiny shower/tub
The hotel was fine. We were travelling cross country and there for only a short overnight and used none of the facilities other tan the room. No complaints..
It was our first time to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We normally stay at La Quinta because they are pet friendly. Since there was no La Quinta, I research other pet friendly hotels in the area. This one came up with the best ratings. When we arrived, I learned that they required a $20 per pet non-refundable fee. This was the highest priced hotel in the area and to add another $40 just because we have 2 well behaved small dogs was ridiculous. I have to say, that the desk clerk when we checked in was very nice, put us in a room to further accommodate our pets (close to the pet yard) and waived the pet fee due to my protests. He is a great asset to that hotel. The breakfast is great and much better than any La Quinta in which we have stayed. Obviously, the Holiday Inn Express is a bit more upscale from what I was used to with La Quinta. They don't need to add the pet deposit. I would switch quickly if that was the case. I hope Holiday Inn Express will consider the amount of business they could get if they would do so. This hotel was not very busy, and I suspect they could have done much better with a changed pet policy. Otherwise, a great hotel in an otherwise non-interesting part of Utah. We were placed in a handicap room since it was closest to the dog area and not going to be used. The shower head kept sliding down making it almost impossible to take a shower without holding the shower wand. I put in a work order and they were going to get on it right away.
The staff was incredibly friendly and the room was perfectly clean. It's located a short walk from a gas station and a few fast food establishments which is convenient. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice and many guests were enjoying it.
It was just a little too expensive for what it was.
Very nice location there is a park across the street. No elevator
Bathroom was very old and in ruins. Nasty.
I liked that it had a swimming pool and breakfast, beds were pretty comfortable. This was an older hotel, so I expected less than perfect, but the bathroom had mold around the floors and tub, grout really dirty. With a little elbow grease and Clorox cleanup, it could have looked much better. Tv did not work first night.
Was not clean.
Room was dated but large and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful, you can tell the owners care about their business. Little touches like the mints on the pillow, water bottles, and candy dish made the stay extra nice. Thank you!

I ran out of characters in the 'not like' box. They advertised a pool and a hot tub but the hot tub was closed and had no water in it. Very disappointing after a long day of hiking and driving. The food in the Mexican restaurant is gross. It is overpriced and not good quality. This Mexican restaurant is also where your breakfast of 2 pancakes and an egg comes from - also not good or satisfying. A continental breakfast would have been better.

They were friendly and helpful. A nice stay.
location There were no grab bars in the bath , tub needs to be replaced, the tile floor was not a non-skid floor and should be replaced.
Location and price Hardness of the beds.
NOTHING!!!! The rooms smelled so bad. The carpet was so dirty I wouldn't walk on it without shoes and the chairs were the same. The bathroom door didn't even fit and wouldn't close. There were holes and paint missing on the walls. To many undesirable people just hanging around outside. even with our vehicle locked I still worried about someone breaking into it!! Don't waste your money at this place!!!
Room was clean but did not like the basement floor No coffee in the room and the lobby did not have coffee until 0630
Clean, indoor pool
hot tub not working, wifi not working, no shampoo or kleenex. the bathroom tiles falling down and grout black, shower curtain falling down.
Room was clean. Staff was attentive and helpful. Newest and nicest Motel 6 that I have ever been to, but these positives were greatly overshadowed by the negatives. Extremely noisy, lack of soundproofing and also crowded. Small room, hard bed. Had a very poor night's sleep for nearly $140! The most I have ever paid for a Motel 6. No coffee in the room.
It was clean but smelled like a dog in our room a bit.
Comfort, decor, value. I was hoping for a warmer welcome upon arrival. We arrived rather late due to a few set backs on the road. Although it was late, I expect a warm and friendly welcome while arriving at your inn. Maybe inform your guests about services or breakfast after an 18 hour drive?
