8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was clean and with aircon.
Cons: The room was very small.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: perfect room, spacious & newly decorated, host was great & friendly, breakfast was fabulous.
Cons: a bit confused to find the location so location indication could be improved.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The house appears brand new, and the room we were in was very modern. Great departure point for a visit to the Gorges de Verdon area. In addition to sitting in the room, we could sit in the spacious breakfast area (which made it easy to play family games, for instance).
Cons: Our room had a double bed (rather narrow for two people) on the ground floor and three beds in a loft above it. The beds were *short*. Two were pushed against each other lengthwise, so that two people of adult height get their feet tangled. The wi-fi signal in the room was very weak.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The stay was wonderful. The host was very friendly and nice. The room was just what you would need for two people. Location is in the village close to the the main tourist spots and if you have a car it’s a perfect balance for visiting other villages yet staying away from the crowds. The breakfast was a typical French breakfast but everything was fresh and filling. Would recommend for sure!
10.0 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: We totally loved our stay! Everything was perfect and we’ll definitely recommend this to our friends!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This place is magic! The owner was very helpful and kind. If you want to watch the stars on the clear sky, escape from urban landscape and be awaken by the sunlight and the sounds of nature this is a place for you.
Cons: The wooden structure (room with glass panels) needs curtains since it gets too hot inside during sunlight. The eco bathroom is ok for a night, but I'm not sure it helps during longer stayings.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location is extraordinary
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! The hosting was brilliant, so friendly and gave us great tips on where to go. The facilities were unreal and the whole place was so easy going we were left to our own devices. The room was very private and had our own living area. Room was immaculately clean. Food was great and cateres to vegetarians! Hot tub was huge and very private in the woods. Can’t fault one thing! Was the best place we visited on our honeymoon ❤️We Want to go back as soon as we can!!!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve just returned from a fantastic break in Provence. Admirons la Nature was the most perfect place to relax and unwind, we can’t recommend enough! A great location to discover the area.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This place is truly a hidden gem - for those who seek peace and a different place - apart from all the mainstream things. Also the perfect place for couples seeking some romance. You are based in the middle of a forest - in the night you can watch trillions of stars. Also the smell of the forest is incredibly intense and changing throughout the day. Be prepared to ... * Only bring a small and light piece of luggage - you have to walk a bit from the car parking to the chalet - so also leave your high heels in the car :-). * For those who are TV junkies and WLAN addicts, this place would be a disappointment because there is neither of both. * The only drawback is that the chalets heat up during the day, so that it feels like being in a sauna. But if you return late afternoon it gets cooler and as soon as you open all doors at sunset, it cools down quite fast. * This place does not welcome children (which is for people without children, who are truly seeking peace and relaxation a plus). Don't miss out on the dinner - it's like a Michelin star treat. Also the breakfast is just amazing - homemade jam and other treats. The best food I had during my stay in Provence. On top, your hosts are just amazing and adorable. And there is so much to do in the surroundings of this place - whether if it's Moustiers-Sainte-Marie or Gorges du Verdon or the Plateau Valensole with all it's lavender fields. One place is more beautiful than the other. I will definitely come back - I fell in love with this place. Haven't found something similar. This for me feels like seven star ... (no actually, it's a trillion stars on the night sky :-).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Excellent hosts and the place is just amazing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Emilie was the kindest host. we were able to rent out the bubble, a truly unique experience falling asleep while watching the stars. She prepared the most delicious aperitif with local products, a delicious dinner. The breakfast was also incredible, with homemade jams and juices. For anyone wanting to escape the city, the location is lost in the middle of the Verdon mountainous area. Emilie gave us great suggestions to visit the surrounding area. I would recommend Admirons la nature in a heart beat!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was incredible and very private and quiet. The jacuzzi was very relaxing in the middle of all the trees and the breakfast was really delicious. Of course be so close to the gorges was also really convenient.
Cons: No concerns

Pros: Perfect location in the heart of Provance. Great amenities, nice pool and super friendly owner! Top choice...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Love the property! Nice and clean room, proper shower room. Great value!
Cons: Breakfast was too basic, kettle and cups were not equipped in room, only available when asked for
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice property and very nice owners. Breakfast better than French average (which is poor from my point of view).
Cons: During the night, if you go to the bathroom and you turn on the light you wake up your room mate. This is because there is a useless window between bedroom and bathroom. Very stupid and uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms and location
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room with A/C, nice pool and great location
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing owner and staff members, catered for us a dinner according to our dietary needs. It combined the comfort of an hotel with the friendly atmosphere of a B&B.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really personal service. Quiet restful location
5.4 Okay
Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: The staff made no attempt to make us feel welcome and offered no help with our bags (not that we needed any). Upon enquiring if the restaurant was open we were told "no" with no offer of help to find a local restaurant that would suit our needs. The place had absolutely no ambience and was more like a morgue. Breakfast was the worst that I can recall in any hotel with prices comparable to this one. The only smile we got was from the lady that brought us our tea at breakfast. The TV reception and WiFi were awful and when I advised the owner of that fact she said it did not matter anyway because they had a good overall score on Booking.com.

Cons: Wifi in our room was very weak, same for mobile data signal. No problem to connect in other parts of the estate though. The adjoining city is very small and nothing could be reached on foot, but that´s the nature of this charming region.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cosy, peaceful and clean place . Thank you so much for your hospitality!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Hard to find..
Cons: The room is very small. Walls in the bedroom are full of flecks. On the loor are full of ants. Our accomodation was good for maximally one night. Not for several days. We were disapointed. According presenting photos we looked forward to very nice room, but reality was absolutely different. Be careful. Only some of presented photos will be exactly from our accomodation.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: My partner and I were amazed by this stay! There are so many good things to say. To start with, the attention and hospitality of Natalie who was always enthusiastic and ready to recommend things to do and tell us about the surroundings and local products. Second, the location! The guest house is part of a farm surrounded by lavender fields and beautiful Provence nature as long as the eye can reach. It provides complete relaxation, disconnection and wonderful quiet sleep. And still there are so many things to do, there's a magnificent pale blue lake just 10 minutes away with car, tons of wineries and small villages with great local restaurants. And finally the breakfast with fresh croissants, honey from the farm and homemade marmalades in the amazing garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location Wonderful house and Wonderful hosts. My new favourite place in France
Cons: We liked everything, far exceeded our expectations
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Owner very friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The most beautiful place we've ever stayed. The host is very nice, the breakfast is delicious with local products, the bed is very comfortable. The place is situated in the middle of the pure nature full of flowers and amazing smells. We were so happy to find this place. Strongly recommend!!!
Cons: Everything was perfect!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Natalie makes you feel very much at home but I think she needs to carry a portable handset with her when guests are arriving (we twice failed to get through when we were diverted and then had difficulty finding a route. Nice room with our own bathroom/toilet. Breakfast was good, especially Olivier's honey (that lavender flavour). The location was a bit difficult to find as it is 200+m down a farm track and the sign on the road needs stronger colours. Nicely located for the Verdon Gorge.
Cons: The flies and the rather 'backyard' style of the place. Perfectly nice inside .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. Nathalie was very kind.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit poor, no cereals & no eggs.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed by the owner when we arrived and we have been offered fresh drinks. After a brief chitchat, we have been shown our room. It was absolutely lovely. Simple, rustic, with a light touch of Provencal decoration and very good bed and pillows. There's a private excellent bathroom with a shower and toilet, separated from the room. The location is a good starting point to discover the Verdon Gorges. The owners were very friendly and always available and it was so good to be in a relaxing environment. Nice breakfast too, with home made jams and honeys. It's been a pleasure and we will most probably come back.
Cons: Nothing. All good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted to have a nice, relaxing, little holiday in Provence… and this is exactly what we experienced. Le Petit Fabre is so quiet, nestled on a farm amidst incredible gardens and fields, not far from the lake of Sainte Croix du Verdon. We felt centered within Provence at a superb time of year (we intentionally wanted to see the week of lavender and sunflowers blooming at the same time, and I imagine that all seasons are quite nice there). We had easy access to everything we wanted to see. Our stay at Le Petit Fabre was PERFECT in every way!! This B&B is beautifully decorated, updated and within keeping that every dreamer of Provence would imagine a French farmhouse surrounded by incredible landscapes - should be. The details for décor are LOVELY! The owners are so genuinely nice and welcoming! They also gave excellent suggestions of special areas to visit and restaurants nearby. Breakfasts were delicious, and the shaded patio was very relaxing. We wanted to bring home the precious little outdoor patio boss (a sweet petite Siamese)! Due to the solid structure of the building, even during a very hot week of the year… air conditioning is not necessary. Inside was cool and because the location is practically within a high valley surrounded by hills, the afternoons and evenings brought shaded, gentle breezes. We felt at home in the midst of beauty and tranquility.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the friendly staff, the cats, the solitude, the calmness, the stars on the sky.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is an absolute gem. A beautiful location, very clean, comfortable rooms. Breakfast available and a bar area for drinks, crisps and ice creams. It is in a small resort so you can walk to a number of restaurants for lunch and evening meals. Truly a fabulous place. Stayed with my husband and two children aged 7 and 9. The walk down to the lake is down a slope. There are some ‘steps’ made from the rocks and gravel. The children loved the adventure of it but less sure footed my need to drive.
Cons: I honestly can’t fault it. I was worried about the fact there is no restaurant but there are so many places to go, in walking distance so it wasn’t a problem.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice location, silent place, clean.
Cons: Comparing with age of building, hotel service is fine.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to stay when you visit Salles du Verdon. Only a few steps away from restaurants and the market - and the lake of course! Definitely recommend to take a room to the lake so you can enjoy the view from the balcony. We'll be back!
Cons: Furnishings could be a bit more lovingly designed though. Wifi could be faster but it was okay.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The view from the room was spectacular
Cons: The room was Spartan, the mattress tired and the bathroom needs updating. When spending 98 Euro per night I expect a decent well furnished welcoming room not a bland hostel room.

Pros: Not much really
Cons: Maybe the property has a good potential but it is poorly decorated and kept. No charme . Breakfast was such a disappointment. In a place which praises its local products the cheese and ham were presliced like in a pack, bread was precooked and hard , poor choice of fruit and when I asked for an egg they said : we don’t do eggs ! Location is also remote and the room full of flies

Pros: Cozy, very clean. Nice restaurant on the ground floor. There is a small garden behind the hotel where you will have breakfast. 5 minutes walk from the river.
6.7 Good
Pros: Conveniently located. Provided a good evening meal. Delightful garden and sitting out area. Traditional French hostelry and fair value for money
Cons: The staff were not particularly friendly, but maybe that is because we arrived after a busy lunchtime on a Sunday. Hotel was a little old in appearance but rooms were clean although the bed was not very comfortable
7.1 Good
Pros: Facilities and cleanliness, location is good for transit.
Cons: The booking is actually for family room of 4 pax, but we were booked at 2 double rooms .. and got separated from my kids.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good buffet breakfast served in the garden.
Cons: I liked everything

7.5 Good
Pros: Love the traditional French family-run hotel which we, and many of our family, know of old. There are not many places still left like this and in such a delightful location. Food still very good and staff most attentive. The laundry room is to me one of the special delights! Please never change it. But I do so miss the wonderful scents of lavender and beeswax polish that used to be an outstanding feature of the Auberge.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything fine and chill.
Cons: Checkin and checkout speed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous continental breakfast of pastries, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed juice and coffee!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really liked the charming unique hotel set in this calm village. The owners were welcoming. The homemade breakfast was delicious and we would definitely recommend the evening meal served with a view over the lake. The room was very comfortable and spotless.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The place is located on the river, so the view from the room balcony is wonderful. Room was old fashioned decorated, comfortable and clean. Our host, Bernard, was very friendly, spoke English, and told us all about the village and the lake. Free parking is available on the road in front of the place.
Cons: Room was small, breakfast was not the best. Value for money could be better, as the staying price was quite high. The house is located up the street level and doesn't have an elevator – so suitcases have to be carried up to the place and then to the room in a narrow corridor.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Great location
Cons: The place was full of cats and smelt like wee. Was also double charged
7.0 Good
Pros: location, quiet and charming
Cons: lots of cats on property, you can't be allergic

Cons: Nothing!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location Staff Nice breakfast area and good food options
Cons: Could be cleaner
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice outside area / patio. Seemed very clean. Nice interior. Close proximity to city center.
Cons: There was no possibility to hang up the shower head in the bath tub on the wall to act as a shower. No lift. Could have had some whole grain alternative for breakfast, cereal for instance.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location for the lavender fields, verdon du gorge and st croix. Riez itself is a charming village. Good restaurants and bars too. The hotel was extremely clean, very stylish and across the road to the village. Car parking was ample and the staff extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff. Incredibly clean and well presented. Room with a balcony. Value for money
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Well located next to town
Cons: The shower over the bath was hand held
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice terrace.
Cons: Doors were a bit noisy to lock and unlock so we would be woken up by late comers trying to get into their rooms.
6.7 Good
Pros: Nice rooms with comfortable bed. Big bathroom.
Cons: There is a bigger street right outside the hotel and the traffic is loud. To get a quiet room you have to pay extra. There was a nice garden where you could eat breakfast however there were so many wasps that we couldn’t sit outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very close to lavander fields from all side: to Valensole direction lavander starts at 5 min from the hotel by car, to Sainte - Croix-du-Verdon direction lavander starts from 6 min from the hotel by the car. You are free to enjoy the azur warm water of Verdon lake (July-August) in 25 min by car. The Road of Creetes (D23) starts at 40 min by car
Cons: There is not fridge in the room, however, you can ask at receiption to use the fridge of the hotel up to 9p.m. For dinner you should better go to Greoux Les Banes as far as it's more picturesque and "tasty"place in comparison with Riez

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Not so many views in the world match the one from their terrace of the restaurant.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at Les Cavalets to attend a wedding. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The views were exceptional! The place was clean. My husband and I enjoyed our time there and we hope to return one day
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely views from the terrace. The rooms were comfortable. Parking space and you do need a car as the village of BAUDUEN is too far to walk and there are no footpaths.
Cons: The breakfast as the coffee was strong and the croissants cold. Also, the orange juice was not freshly squeezed.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location and views were excellent, food was good
Cons: Only spoke French on The first day then English on the second day. No air con, breakfast was meagre and exceedingly expensive for room with no view or breakfast.ps check your bill before paying

Cons: The room establishemnet is old and no AC.

Cons: No life,no fan or aircon,no tea making in room, no fridge Bedroom very simple, sparse,
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location and the views.
Cons: The room. The side of the bath was falling off and there was mould on the wall. There was no air conditioning. The staff were not welcoming or friendly with the exception of the male waiter serving at dinner and the female waitress serving breakfast.
6.7 Good
Pros: Very beautiful place with tasty restaurant. Food is good and well cooked. Pool is good and territory is clean and full of flowers.
Cons: Hotel consists of 2 types of rooms - renovated and old. Photos are mixed up and we didn’t catch that the room we booked is old and has no lake view. It turned out, that room (family suit) is too small and window looks to the road.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was great - with a beautiful view over the lake. We decided to eat in both nights and found the food and wine to be good quality and good value. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Although most of the staff are very friendly and appear to be working hard and trying very hard to give the clients a good experience, there were one or two surly exceptions who made us feel as if we were inconveniencing them. For example, one morning over breakfast we were asked to move table so that they could lay up for lunch (at 9.45am!), the shades were then retracted so that we were eating it in the burning sun and the waiter, who we had not seen before, had to be asked several times to bring out missing components of the simple breakfast.
Hotel du Moulin - Allemagne-en-Provence - Bedroom

7.8 Good (199 reviews)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The dinner was amazing! Also we had a very charming room with a view on the chateau.
Cons: The WiFi was a bit slow
7.5 Good
Pros: Owner was friendly. Good location. Kids liked the new pool. Food was nice.
Cons: Both rooms and hallway smelt a bit damp/ musty. The bathrooms in both rooms felt a bit small and very outdated with a shower curtain in one which allowed water to leak everywhere (aa they normally do!)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very not very place.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, considering the price.
Cons: The hotel is too expensive considering its quality level. It is an old hotel that should be fully renovated. Small room, no wardrobe, soap contained in small low-price plastic envelopes, the outside area is poorly maintained: in my opinion just a "one star" location, that should cost half the price I paid.
6.7 Good
Pros: Friendly staff - good restaurant
Cons: One room had problems with flies
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean, stylish countryhouse, this is how I imagine France. After lavendel fields this was perfect stay.
Cons: Toilet and bathroom were pretty small but also undesrandable for this kind of older house. The rooms were very clean and it is not really a big thing.
6.3 Good
Pros: From our room a wonderful view on the château.
Cons: Sadly no airconditioning in the room. Due to the hot weather sleeping wasn't easy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place and a beautiful room.
Cons: Restaurant closes early
Hôtel Sainte Anne - Les Salles-sur-Verdon - Building
18
7.3 Good (344 reviews)
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hôtel Sainte Anne places you in the heart of Les Salles-sur-Verdon, a 2-minute drive from Lac de Sainte Croix and 6 minutes from Gorges du Verdon. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for money. Really well run. Clean and at the top end of 3*.
Cons: Not much. The hotel is entirely non-smoking which will make it more appealing to some people. No air-conditioning but if you use the shutters you can keep the rooms cool.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Balcony was a great addition to our room. Great views.
Cons: The woman running this hotel does not like to work and / or to talk with people - This hotel would be awesome without her - when we were asking infos she was always answering in a patronising tone. Also it is good to know she is out of the hotel until 3pm, so there is no one to help you if you need anything until that time (and you also use the backdoor to enter, more like an apartment than a hotel). Also if you want to use an hairdryer, use only the one from the hotel because ours was apparently too 'strong' for the plug and created a power failure (so be careful even with your phone, and If you need to use a CPAP for sleep apnea dont come to this hotel, you will not be able to plug it).
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, clean, comfortable bed and great views of the lake.
Cons: Only fans in the rooms no AC, we visited during a heat wave so was very warm at night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great cozy place right on the lake. Good view of the lake and a plaza. Enjoyed it very much!
Cons: Late check in policy was strict, we had to pay a 20% fee (of total cost of room) because our arrival was delayed. Didn't know this because it's in the fine print, but apparently it's there. Also, breakfast you have to reserve in advance, but booking.com didn't tell us this nor were we told upon check in. Lastly, internet is painfully slow, which is fine, since it's good to be off grid sometimes, but we had to make some plans for later in our trip and were barely able to do so.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are quaint and comfortable - especially the beds! The views from the rooms are amazing and the staff is thoughtful and friendly. I wish we could've stayed longer and will stay here if I'm ever in the area again.
Cons: WIFI isn't that great and there is no coffee in the room - you have to go to the desk and pay for it if you want it before breakfast is served around 8.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice room and staff
Cons: Breakfast was poor given the price it was sold
6.7 Good
Cons: Weak wifi and only in the reception room, noise from neighbouring restaurant, poor facility. Price does not match quality.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location for verdon gorge. Plenty eating places next to hotel and had a large market on the square.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was amazing! It was just by the lake and was close to a lot of restaurants in the little village. There was also a market right outside during one of the mornings, I believe it was a Thursday, when we were there. The place was a bit rustic, which I personally like.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, good location, easy to find, comfortable room, few good restaurants just near the entrance, free parking
Cons: It was quite noisy in the night because of bar near the hotel
