Based on the good reviews on Expedia we booked this hotel. Although it close to many activities the hotel is across a gas station. We didn’t like location. The carpets and bathroom are run down and needs replacement. Overall we think there are better options than Monterey Bay Lodge .
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:from the outside, it looks like a motel. But the rooms are very good quality "Hotel style".
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Very friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to the downtown area. Right across from a beautiful pond. the attached restaurant was great.
Cons:we stayed on the top floor and the outside hallway was just bare wood. looked terrible but could not tell if it was under construction as it didn't look like anyone was working on it.
