Place is very beautiful, food was good, people were helpful. real tuscan experience. the were some problems with lack of water in the bathroom sometimes
Toured Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terra, and the surrounding scenic towns like Siena in Tuscany area. Ease of access to the main road was somewhat cumbersome due to proximity of the large entry gate that swung inward towards a small parking area. Vehicle movement was restricted in the parking area while the gates were moving and autos had to be pre-positioned before departing or entering.
We have stayed at the Villa La Capella for a couple of days in July, we had a wonderful holiday. The staff was extremely helpfuld and friendly, the hotel and the area meet our expectationen 100%. The food was delicious (and cheap). We can only recommend Villa La Capella to everybody who a looking for a holiday in the Tuscan mountains.
Beautiful location. Hotel is a few km outside of Montespertoli - reachable only by car. Nice breakfast. Our cheaper room was half underground and thus well temperated in high summer.
Friendliness and helpfulness of the owner. Patrizio had great suggestions for places of interest and fantastic drives. He gave us a private view of Tuscany
go to the swiwwing pool and travel toscana
We liked the incredible friendliness and desire to look after you shown by all the staff. The swimming pool was just the right size for the hotel so never too many people. Four course evening meals on the terrace overlooking the Tuscan Hills by moonlight with fellow guests were very special and varied. Hotel well positioned to visit Florence, Siena and San Gimignano for day trips.
The hotel Staff was excellent, The bathroom was nice ,but small,
Beautiful view and surroundings, silence, calmness. The staff is really kind and welcoming. Thank you for Patricio and all the staff the pleasant stay here.
Lovely location with beautiful views from points around the corner from our apartment.Swimming pool also in lovely setting, with a good number of deck chairs and a few loungers.Kitchen well-eqipped, with clean fridge/freezer, dishwasher, full stove and plenty of crockery, saucepans etc.Spacious sleeping/living area. Our terrace area had table and chairs, so it was possible to eat outside. This place was not designed as shared space: it only worked when the other guests were out! Noise from upstairs neighbours was dreadful and completely ruined our hope for a Sunday morning in a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately one set of upstairs occupants seemed to only communicate in raised voices, even right outside our door as they seemed to think it ok to walk across our private terrace rather than use the path. At times one of this party would practically push past as I sat at the table trying to enjoy an early morning breakfast in the Tuscan sunshine. The large window and doors which provided the only natural light did not have net/muslin curtain so we were unable to move from bed to bathroom in the morning without people looking in ( and they did )This is a real oversight as the room was full to bursting with ornaments of every kind ( ie.money spent on "decor")...would have traded a few dozen plates for a simple muslin to provide privacy at window. In the kitchen there was a coffee maker and toaster, but only one socket so impossible to use both at same time ie. to make breakfast. Again poor planning and design. Resident cats would eat food from table if left unattended for a moment and a roaming dog appeared in the kitchen...later it took a dip in the swimming pool, (witnessed after we had got out). Bearing in mind the long list of hygiene rules at poolside it was pretty disgusting to see this dog in the water. Near to pool another apartment decided to have a full bonfire on Sunday morning, filling place with acrid smoke...no one seemed to do anything about it. Booking details gave no information on how to find the place and our SatNav didn't work in Italy.
It has a remote quiet location, nice pool and beautiful views!! There could have been a little more sweeping and dusting done in the room. It had a lot of spiders!! Icky!! It could have been that we didn't reserve it until the night before so that may had something to do with it. Otherwise it was great!
Beautiful property in a wonderful environment. Breakfast was really bad.
Food at dinner good as was the choice of cold food at breakfast. Staff at reception and restaurant very helpful. Nice size bedroom with balcony. Hot food at breakfast not very good, they had scrambled eggs and bacon each morning but did not look very appetising. Room cleaning not vey good, crisps on floor on day we arrived were still there 3 days later when we left. Bathroom had a musty smell, could do with redecorating the bathroom. Swimming pool not open, would be helpful if they gave a date it closed.
Very close to centre of Florence - short bus trip to centre. Nice pool and friendly staff. Good breakfast and restaurant was good. Good base for touring Florence and for touring towns in the region - easy access to Auto Strada etc. A little haven in the city. Air Conditioning was a bit noisy and some traffic noise from early morning.
Nice staff, good facility, moderate price. Long walk necessary from city centre.1
Beautiful property with great rooms and views directly on the Arno. Quiet & peaceful. Excellent food and service. Fantastic breakfast offering. Spa was amazing and so much enjoyed with a grotto hot pool, steam and sauna. Staff very friendly with great concierge services available. Shuttle bus and bicycles. Could not reccomend this hotel any higher - was best hotel of our entire trip stay and well worth the price. Wife was over the moon happy with this choice...
The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were huge and very smart, the pool was gorgeous and refreshing. The restaurant was some of the best food we encountered in Italy!
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, our room was quite large and very clean with a beautiful view overlooking the river. It is the perfect base for a young couple to explore Florence. As long as you are prepared to walk 20-25 minutes into the city centre, there is nothing negative I can say about our stay at Ville Sull'Arno
Old style Italian building and the overgrown gardens. Room had balcony overlooking River Arno. Pleasant and helpful staff. Shower enclosure very small.
The staff were very courteous and helpful. Food was excellent and the hotel was very clean. A bit far from the centre of Florence with the result we spent a lot of money on taxis.
The location was perfect and the view of the river really added to the beauty of the room. We loved the balacony! The staff were all very helpful with advice, booking tickets for us, etc. The breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed the pool. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Center of the beautiful city, nice small hotel, not very cheap, but wort to stay in it. If you come by car, ask taxi driver to go there and follow him, Almost imposible to find tha way on your own. Valet parking closed until 7 am. I had my flight earlier. Hotel helped me to deliver car to Avis and sent my belongings from car to me, but generally it is not acceptable.
I enjoyed the beautifully appointed room, the large bathroom and excellent shower. The staff was exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to recommend places to visit or for dinner reservations. Food at the hotel was also very good. I do not have one bad thing to say about this hotel. Would definitely go back and would recommend to a friend.
Attractive and very central We thought the 50euros charge for parking was astronomical!!!!
Service impeccable; centrally located for everything including museums, shopping, restaurants, train station; cleanliness and decor wonderful; will stay there again
Staff and location Breakfast buffet and some rooms noisy
Cappuccino. Staff was understanding. The rooms next to the street are noisy because of the late night bars and at this time of year you can't have AC in the rooms because one system works the entire building. If you are hot or uncomfortable you have to open a window which just lets the noise in. Street cleaners, and trash service comes by at 5am which is nuts! Breakfast was blah...Single room was a closet and horrible shower. Im in shape and didn't fit in the shower.
Nice hotel, great staff AC not working - resulted in open window - resulted in about 15 mosquito bites!!!
Friendly staff, great room
excellent concierge and service
The location is perfect. 10-15 minute walk to everything, but quiet location. Service like one does not find anymore. Worth the money.
The staff at Helvetia Bristol could not have been warmer and more accommodating during my four night stay. Their warm welcomes and spot-on suggestions were greatly appreciated. I love this hotel and will definitely return. It is a historic boutique hotel (don't expect large rooms). The location cannot be beat in central Florence. The rooms are small and in need of a little love (new carpet).
Beautiful authentic Italian and very freindly helpful staff. Only downside was the room was boiling hot and there was no option to turn off the heating or turn it down, you could not have air conditioning in the winter even though the weather was really mild. When we opened the windows we got bitten by mosquitos.
Great Location near the Duamo accompanied by good rooms and helpful staff
The location is ideal The beds were very uncomfortable.
Staff were accommodating. They initially offered us a room with a view of the inside of the building (I would not call it a courtyard) and down many halls away from everything. When we requested another they gave us one on the 5th floor, street side with a bath tub. I did request these amenities beforehand, however, they tried to give us a substandard room. Is this because we booked through Booking.com?Need to be persistent. Location can't be beat. Hotel is beautiful.
It was no rain, thanks.
location bathroom of the room was old and cold, not at the level of a 4 star
This is a beautiful hotel. What we liked most was it's location - very central - walk out the door and you are right where you want to be!! I can not think of anything that we didn't like about the hotel.
Location was excellent. walked everywhere & many great restaurants & wine bars nearby. Staff was very accomodating & friendly Price was high but quality matched the price
Hotel's position in the historical centre of Florence
They offer the best breakfast buffet in the morning, excellent selection of eggs, rolls, pastries, fruits, cheeses, cereal etc and hot american coffee. The breakfast room is nicely decorated and service prompt and friendly. A great way to start your day. The rooms are very clean, bar/lounge area looks newly decorated and a nice place to enjoy an evening cocktail. Very friendly and accommodating staff.
The bubble bath was a welcome delight. The room decor was awesome! The basket of fruit was delicious. We just loved every mininute! The stay helped make our 25th wedding anniversary wonderful. Had difficulty illiminating the light fixtures in the sitting room. The light switch did not function properly. Had to ask the front desk for assistance.
Very elegant, located in a perfect spot in Florence's luxury shopping area and also very close to city's center and monuments, clean rooms and good service by staff.
this one is a brand new one only opened in May 2009. The room is spacious and is very clean, with a spacious marble bathroom. It is small and cozy. I will go back if I visit Florence again.
the hotel is absolutly great specially its near by the river & the shopping area..the staff were amazingly adorable and helpful ...i remeber "marco" he was great and all the other but i cant recall there names now..last day i needed a late check out ..they provide it free freee freee with a wide smile...u must see this amazing beutiful castle i wished i could stayed more
The hotel is very well located within few blocks to major attractions and "centro storico". Be careful with the shower in the restroom because it is a step down from the floor and you can easily fell down.
SPA (small but nice) and massages. I am Italian and found breakfast delicious (cappuccino) Room's temperature was too low when we first entered (18°)
Excellent location. Walking distance to all the main attractions of Florence. Quiet neighborhood inside the busy town center. Room service expensive for what it was.
It was a very beautiful hotel with an excellent staff and it was in an excellent location. We liked everything about the hotel.
wonderful breakfast with fresh juice, home-made bread and delicious fruit very central to the city nice staff nice room no
the welcome and efficiency of the staff and also the quality of the breakfast. a special mention for the sophisticated spa and treatments. The room was very comfortable and wel equipted. the lounge is welcoming. the lighting in the beautiful bathroom was deficient but I understand this will change soon.
Nice location, nice property Be sure not to stay in a standard room, when you pay for a deluxe room. Booking.com classifies the rooms by size, but the hotel receptionist said, size does not matter, it is the services included (spa, mini bar). The receptionist also refused to change the reservation to standard room, as it was made trough booking.com. I took us 15 minutes and some nerves to get the room we paid for as advertised on booking.com.
clean rooms and very nice staff I had a room that was joined to another one...the people beside me were very loud, got changed to another room and then someone was moving the furniture in the suite above me. since it's an old house I am not sure it's got the proper sound proofing.
Staff very helpfull - Concierge booked all dinner reservations for us which made life easier
Liked nearly everything The service around the pool area was a bit slow some days
All in all a good experience. Even our group ordered two bottles of Don Perignon during every dinner it was a surprise to be told in the third night that it is no more. Even the personnel had a bad feeling about the situation.
Absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location. Service was exceptional. The pool was great after a long day walking around in Florence. Breakfast was very good. Upgraded room was a nice touch. Parking was a little expensive and not run by the hotel itself.
space of the rooms sheet of the beds is not soft
All staff that we met were were extremely friendly and courteous. Our Room was fantastic-spacious, comfortable with a wonderful view over the convent towards the hills. The outdoor pool was a joy and situated in delightful surroundings that was perfect for chilling during the day before heading into town-only 15 mins walk to Ponte Vecchio. I would gladly recommend. Disappointed that for the price we paid that it didn't include breakfast!!prices were very expensive-eg 18 euros for a ham/cheese toastie/12 euros for a btl of beer/glass wine/7.5 euros for a coke/water etc and that was just the snack menu!!However, the food bought at the hotel was very nice we would have eaten more at the hotel if prices had been more reasonable.Although we did find a lovely pattiserie where we were able to get breakfast with great coffee and only 2mins walk from hotel. Also the 'fitness centre' was disappointing-the gym was tiny, a mirrored room with odds and ends-equipment that was present was very dated.
very friendly service
kind staff, cleanness, well internet service, nice hotel nothing
Hotel is conveniently located, stylish (Florentine style) and quiet. Room was spacious with lots of space for clothing, etc. Moldy fabric on walls; didn't know about comlimentary breakfast.
The building looked beautiful, and it was close to the Tuscan country side. Staff was very helpful and the food was really good. There isn't really much negative things to say here, however I would improve the shuttle service to different locations, ex the Terminal. Also, TV has to have more English channels , that helps relax after a long day of walking.
the old world feel in the rooms. The interior in the public spaces could use some serious attention! It feels cheap and not on the level of a genuine 5 star hotel. Overall needs tasteful direction and overhaul. Restaurant bill for 2 was almost 90 euros for 2 glasses of wine, 2 pastas, and 1 dessert. Each glass of house wine they offered me was 16 euros each. I have dined at many restaurants in Italy ranging from michelin star to amazing local family restaurants therefore I am quite confident to say this was expensive for what is was. The food was standard for what you can expect in any decent Italian kitchen however you can head down the road to find many nicer restaurants that will be over half the price for the same thing. Moreover the interior of the restaurant feels like a cheap Chinese restaurant with an interior inspired by Versace in the 90's.
I love that hotel, everything was perfect!
Spent two nights there in November 2014. Excellent service, room, and amenities. Would definitely return. I can say without equivocation that I would return. Fabulous views of Florence! Tea served in the salon each afternoon. Gorgeous linens. Attentive service. This is a my hotel when I return to Florence!!
Nothing specific stood out The service is erratic and at times poor The cleanliness of the crockery (dried sugar on a coffee spoon) and the level of crockery (cracked cup) is not on par with its star rating The rooms already look like they need redecorating and 'romantic room' is in fact a very small room with a limited view of the grounds and Florence. Drinks and meals were prohibitively costly in the hotel We were woken at night by inconsiderate guests arriving late and by the sound of the luggage trollies. The noise was dealt with quickly by the concierge, but you also get noise from a neighbouring campsite (tannoy announcements) which can be quite disconcerting!
the feeling of luxury, calm, and amazing view over the whold of Florence. The staff were considerate, very helpful , quite perfect.
The location is surely impressive and the staff extremely super nice and helpfull. the free shuttle service is absolutely fantastic! There are a few things that I was not happy about: the bed mattress was old and had a big hole in the middle that made our sleep extremely uncomfortable. they didn't even have a selection of pillows, but only one standard, that , in a hotel room that costs 299 euros per night is not acceptable. the breakfast was totally not worthed 25 euros per person ( they should really have it included in the price). For how perfect is a view , and we all know how important is a room with a view in Florence, they are located next to a camping ground, and in the middle of the night and early in the morning, the camping ground management was calling people with megaphones to move their cars.... ad was utterly annoying and loud!
I cannot accept that the overnight price of euros299.00does not include breakast! A fabulous location but I have stayed in better hotels before for a lot less! The air conditioning in the annexe was locked on 25.5c and could not be reduced.the room was like a sauna.we stayed at the hotel to attend a wedding on site.the dinner service was poor-at one stage the cutlery ran out.they should be used to mass catering!take care concerning mosquitoes.these seem to be endemic in florence and 5 stars do not stop you from getting bitten.we have come home with numerous bites!
The views were stunning and superb facilities. Gourmet dining with elegant surroundings. nothing to complain about
The whole stay was excellent. Service top class, views amazing, room outstanding, roof terrace unbeatable in Florence. I will go back and recommend others to stay whenever in Florence.
very friendly staff and very nice restaurant. One of our best meals in Florence. Thanks for the wonderfully chilled bottle of Champagne in our room, on arrival, was a wonderful touch! We will stay there again. Shuttle services needs to be extended in hours and also drop folks in the middle of the town as opposed to the bridge.
the 25 euros per breakfast for one person is too expensive I think.
The fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast. The staff really helped when they changed our room. The first junior suite was a loft bedroom, hot and viewless. The second one was lovely It was a little too far from the center. You have to like to walk a lot. It was the most expensive one on our trip and we thought it was overpriced.
Hotel was clean, staff were helpful & friendly. 30 min free wireless a day was useful. Close to train station and I liked the walk to the city centre (either along the river or the back streets which had quirky shops). Hmm the aircon was quite noisy (sounded like it was continuously raining) but it didn't worry me too much.
Outside looking of the building was nice, the fee was cheap as a 5 star.
comfort I would like the restaurant to have more choices on the menu Food could be a little better
We arrived to a rude and dismissive front desk. They proceeded to tell us we couldn't stay in our room unless we paid 50 dollars more than what we paid with kayak. I said absolutely not. they said then we couldn't stay and they would still be charging us the full amount of the room. We left and did not stay there and now have to dispute these fraudulent charges with my credit card. Never stay here!!! Worst service ever!!!!
The hotel was clean and elegant. Rooms and facilities were spacious and the service was excellent. The breakfast and gym were top-notch. The dinner, although good, was not as good value for money as I would have liked. Additional recreational facilities (spa, pool, biliard table, other) would have been a bonus.
I felt at home. Your system with the lights.I guess if I had more time I could had trained myself to work them better.I think now that I am back home ,I have it figured out but too late.
The room and the hotel interieur it was a little bit too outside
Quiet location, Senior bar, restaurant and porterage staff were excellent Management were not on the ball. Twice we complained about the smell coming from the waste pipe of the bath and nothing was done. Twice we returned to our room in the late afternoon and it had not been serviced. On the one evening we had dinner in the hotel there was a staffing problem and we (along with other guests) had to wait for ever for our food.
Beautiful room, luxurious bathroom, very comfortable bed, very nice and helpful staff. Very quiet environment and therefore relaxing. The best hotel I have ever stayed at in 30 years of travel. There was nothing I did not like.
I liked every thing in the hotel. Some of the staff at the frontdesk are not friendly. Don't take the breakfast it cost around €30, eat out there are lot's of places to eat in around you.
Beautiful modern rooms. We got two interconnecting rooms and they were very spacious. Hotel within walking distance to all the shops..
The location was excellent the service was good and the rooms were small but high tec
hotel's placement is perfect. hotel was good .
excellent friendly staff provided great service
Professional service, exceptionally resourceful/helpful Concierge Internet service very slow, no wireless
Best location Location and the room
location was amazing. it is on piazza del republica, walking distance to almost everywhere. that the internet connection and breakfast were not free. i understand that hotels charge for breakfast but seriously which hotel in the world today still charges 20 euro per day for internet. internet is everywhere and it should be given to clients free.
Perfect hotel, only best feelings about personal and the hotel itself! Great experience!
I have experience a lot of luxury hotel , but in this hotel I found them very helpful .The second night for me in the hotel I had an emergency case where my son chocked with food I called the reception and they were there at my door step helping me out like one of their family member I appreciate that . And recommend it to all my friends.
Exceptional rooms with very helpful staff Not able to use an american hair dryer in the room due to power surge that occured when using. I used the same hairdryer in Rome and Tuscany without any issues.
The rooms need more ligth
The staff was excellent, and the restaurant also I was missing a swimmingpool
The hotel is beautiful and the staff is nice. I found the price to be excessive as compared to the hotel facilities and service--it is definitely a nice hotel but the price is overvalued. One issue that is very bothersome is the air conditioner turns off after a certain time during "winter" but it was very hot during our stay and they still had it turned off. They finally did turn it back on for a longer period of time, after we complained.
Very attentive staff at all stages of our stay. Upgraded to include breakfast - a sinificant cost saving. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable concierge. Very friendly restaurant and bar staff
the overall high level of service and luxury appointments
great service. Beautiful hotel
We got upgraded to a beautiful room. Hotel was reallllllly nice! Will come again :)
Good position, good rooms and a nice breakfast. I would expect to have the free wifi/cable internet access in the room package
I enjoyed the convinience of the hotels location and the easily accesible parking area. During our visit the air conditioning was not turned on and the rooms were very hot, and when we inquired about it, the staff told us to open the windows.
excellent position to centrum and very good parking very complicated and expensivve internet service
hotel was very clean and staff friendly and helpful. It states they serve American breakfast, unfortunately this is not what I would describe as American breakfast having travelled many times to the USA. I asked for fried eggs, sunny side up as served in USA to be told that would be an extra charge. No choice of eggs only scrambled supplied. No mushrooms or hash browns etc.Dissappointed as this was not what you would expect. The continental breakfast was good.
Excellent room, reliable air conditioning, all facilities new and fresh. Checking in easy, lots of dining choices in neighborhood--and easy access to key Florence sites.
Easy to get to many things tourist of city, friendly staff that helped change rooms, breakfast was convenient. This isn't by any means a four star , but what you get for price is good. This is Italy so be prepared for a room to smell of smoke. The pillows were incredibly hard and compact.
Very nice rooms, good breakfast, central location (by foot less than 15 minutes to the dome), private parking,... There is no guarantee for the parking, so it might be that it is full and the private garages are very expensive…
The rooms and the hotel staff are very friendly, and its close to the center of Florence.
It's cenral location and upmarket clientele Rooms too small and the complementary coffee making facilities need to be asked for. Breakfast too basic.
Not bad. While it is not a designer hotel, it is still good value for a hotel close to train station and major tourist site. We had a triple room which was spacious enough for three adults. Room clean, breakfast average. Shower is a bit small.
Being upgraded to a small suite overlooking the river. Nothing
position,size of room,friendly staff,good breakfast ,parkinng
This was the nicest hotel and staff we stayed at in Italy. The rooms were large, comfortable beds. Bathrooms were good size. Beautifully decorated. Staff was exceptional! Conveniently located, great views.
It is right on the one of side Arno( river) Hard to breath in a room because a lot of things. Not enough space for life.
Service - reception and restaurants It's pricy
The A/C was off and the room was too warmWhen openning the windows a lot of mosquitos came in. It was a very bad experience with so many mosquito bites.
An ok hotel, not what you are expecting from a Westin hotel... the only thing that really mentions a Westin is the price ... Even that you are paying a nice amount of $$, anything you are asking for beside of your bad will be an extra, with an outrages price... parking is 40 Euro per night, a double espresso 10...
Location, appearance, food, gym equipment. You have to pay for the internet service. For such an elegant hotel, it's really tacky to charge to use the internet.
Its quiet and clean for such a big hotel. The breakfast was very expensive. When you only want some fruit salad, yoghurt, orange juice and coffee then forty euros is a waste of money.
Surely one of the best hotels in Florenece. The stuff was very helpful and spoke fluent English. In addition they proposed an alternative parking (20 euros/night) instead of the expensive hotel garage. Moreover they were more than happy to upgrade our rooms to river view ones (with no additional charges) for the second and third night due to faulty aircondinioning system.
It is an elegant hotel, and nicely located.
The best hotel in the world! No
Staff is not as competent as expected. We asked for several recommendations and weren't directed to good places. We spent 4 nights there; on the last day I asked for a late checkout at 2 pm and was met with resistance. Meanwhile the hotel was relatively empty! For such a reputed establishment, extending the checkout shouldn't be such a big deal. Staff was rather disappointing.
Excellent service from an outstanding staff. We were completely satisfied !
The staff were friendly. A beautiful building in a good location. The breakfast at 25 euros is a rip-off!!!! - go somewhere else.
Location is very good (center of Florence's historic district, next to Santa Croce). Nice views from our room of Santa Croce. Historic building. Room was quite spacious for Italian standards. Free internet. Price was a little high. Cost of breakfast (not included) is 25 Euros. You need to walk some dark corridors and go up an elevator to walk from the lobby of the hotel to reception.
Excellent staff, lovely clean rooms, very good bed, nice shower too
The porters were extremely helpful and the decor beautiful. I paid top dollar for a suite at Relais Santa Croce to make our stay in Florence special for our honeymoon. Although they were made aware it was our honeymoon prior to and upon arrival no effort was made by any of the staff to acknowledge this fact. From a five star hotel I expected at least a congratulations or welcome but felt we were just another guest to make money from.
Location, the palace is really nice, fresh nice rooms, nice views on the city and surroundings. Corridor is noisy ( no carpets in the corridor ).Contemporary furniture in the common rooms is a bit cheap, one would expect a more opulent interior.
Very poor conditions in the rooms. Poor bedding and pillows are very hard. The windows overlook the bustling street, so it is impossible to sleep at night. In the shower is growing mold.
Above all the attitude of the staff - professional, courteous, helpful andwarm. No
Quite simply the best boutique hotel I have ever stayed in. Since it was our honeymoon, they kindly upgraded us from their 2nd best room, to their best room. It was a beautiful room, and a wonderful 3 night stay. The hotel is excellently designed and appointed. The staff are gracious and helpful with everything.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was very calming and luxurious. Not really, except the room was quite small, but very comfortable
Wow, a beautiful hotel. Fantastic location, wonderful staff and the most comfortable beds. We were given excellent restaurant recommendations. lovely breakfast included.
Excellent location - short walking distance from the train station, beautifully decorated, staff providing an excellent customer service, the best hotel - MUST - when you stay in Florence! N/A
After enjoying the countryside for almost a week, we loved the extremely comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Perfect! It was a bit off putting not to be told about the noise from the street which could have been far worse if the construction crews had been working when we were there. Also, we had to wind through the lobby to find staff...
I have stayed at the hotel many times with my husband and it felt like returning to a well loved home - the staff and attention to detail is super and jk PLace has cornered the market on "boutique" Nothing - it was all super
good service small room, no window view
Great place and a great location Very Homey
