Pros: I loved how clean the rooms were. The owner was genuinely kind and made sure our every need was met. Across the parking lot is a bowling alley with a restaurant, bar and free pool tables. Great crowd. Inexpensive fun.
Pros: My son ate the fresh fruit that were left for us in the room, it was a nice touch. I enjoyed the security of having door locks that worked, unlike the last place I stayed. It was a short drive to ChampaignIL to Fluid Center.
Pros: Owners real nice people. Service is fast sufficient. Snowstorm the night I was there.( 8 inches) Shoveled the walk by the time I got up. Even shoveled out around my car for me.
Pros: Price was right for the budget. Very nice front desk attendant enjoyed my stay. Room was clean bed was neat and clean.
Cons: There was nothing negative about it..
The hotel staff was nice. The rooms are not. If you are looking for a sub-one star hotel and you can deal with dirty sheets, then this would be a good pick for you.
Pros: Since we were visiting family in the area, the location of this hotel was where we needed it to be.
Cons: I didn't expect this hotel to be a resort. My only expectation was for it to be clean. When I pulled back the covers, there was hair on the pillow. The room heater also did not work. My daughter slept in her winter coat and boots.
Pros: This is a clean comfortable Inn in Monticello, IL. There is nothing fancy here, but the staff is very nice, the rooms are clean, the heating and air conditioning work well and the beds allow for a good night sleep. There is a gas station across the street and a restaurant next door. We've stayed here several times and have never had a bad stay.
Cons: peeling paint in bathroom and I had to move the cabinet that housed the tv so it would be facing the bed

Cons: Room wasn't clean, wreaked of smoke (non-smoking room) and ant traps on the floor. Obvious signs of water damage and mold in the bathroom areas.
Could improve on the hotel exterior look.
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: Was not as clean as expected. Window needs different shading for more privately.
Only book as a last resort if nothing else available in the area. If it were not for the fact that there were no other hotel rooms available in the Champaign area because of Dad's weekend at University of Illinois I would have never checked in.
Pros: Not much. Was reasonable distance to U of I campus.
Cons: Motel is completely rundown. Outside area and rooms desperately needs upgrade. Room amenities were barely marginal. Heating unit in room was not working upon my arrival. An old space heater had to be brought in.
JUST DRIVE BY! Do NOT STOP!!
Cons: NO room service in 3 days!! Needs updating big time!! DILAPITATED!! WiFi advertised and paid for but NOT available!!
It was in a nice area, overall I was pleased with my stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Pros: I liked having the free Wi-Fi. I stay mostly at Motel 6 and I have yet to stay at one where the Wi-Fi was free.
Cons: I spoke about this to the manager the night I moved in and as I had left, so, he is aware of this: The curtains were too translucent for my window. I suggested getting more opaque curtains or adding a draw blind along with the existing curtanins.
Had group of 4 families with, ONLY reason stayed was nothing available in Champaign and needed close for Marathon which running. One room had icecream left in freezer, two girls with bug bites next day, my daughter bites, and few days after took to Dr, treated for Scabies. If not for NOTHING in area available, would have left upon arrival..owner very rude on phone when calling to verify reservations, actually hung up on us. Had to step over fryingpan left outside our room when checking in, all doors open, who knows what crawled in rooms. when saw how dirty sheets were we slept on OUTSIDE of bed, had brought own pillows and few blankets with. Have NEVER seen such a dirty hotel, and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone...health dept needs to shut it down. Talked to other runners we saw in parkinglot early in the am..they also disgusted with rooms. Pulling back bed linens to find them stained and cigarette burns..NOT acceptable.
Cons: Owner poor English, hard understand, rooms dirty, centipedes in bathroom, bedding with cigarette burns, dirty linen, doors all open on arrival to outside air, daughter being treated for SCABIES after visit. DISGUSTING place, DO NOT recommend.SHUT IT DOWN!
The price was just fine and the room size was adequate
Pros: It met all my expectations
Cons: Something smelt bad when i first opened the door but it disappeared after a while
Needs to be modernized and updated. Water damage in bathroom. TV sets(only one worked from the 70's...bed was hard as a rock.
Cons: Only costxxx per night, overpriced at that
Pros: Location close to my job site. Air conditioner worked.
Cons: Spiders, cobwebs, dirty carpet, warm refrigerator, some lights not working, general cleanness, fit & finish.
