Pros: Patricia and Raymond were delightful hosts, and shared their knowledge of the area with us. We were very grateful. Our room was large and very comfortable, with a sitting area, books, a table and chairs, coffee/tea making supplies and sweet treats to welcome us. Breakfast was delicious: four kinds of beautiful bread/pastries, juice, homemade jam and compote, fresh fruit, and perfect coffee. We hope to return!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pat, Ray and Groupie are the perfect hosts. Very welcoming, great communication before and after our stay. We stayed on a Sunday. Prior to our stay, Pat and Ray had emailed us to let us know that there wouldn't be a restaurant/shop open in the village by the time we arrived on our bicycles. Ray and Pat were brilliant, they booked us a table at a restaurant in the next town and Ray gave us a lift there and back (to save their legs for the next leg of the cycle tour). Our accommodation was beautiful and breakfast the next morning was delicious. Thank you for looking after us. Highly recommended

Pros: Alexander was completely on the ball with our complicated booking for 12 cyclists, it made my life so much easier. He was able to cope with our tricky eating habits of Vegan and dairy free unlike the previous night where we had the waitress in tears. He very kindly accompanied one of our party to hospital when she need stiches to her arm. The evening meal was the best throughout our stay in France.
Cons: It was perfect

Pros: What a great little hotel. I stayed in the St Honore suite which is the biggest room I have ever stayed in and had everything you could need and more - it's just a shame I was only stayingfor one night. The evening meal was exceptional Pascal is an amazing chef and Isabelle did a great job explaining the courses and ingredients as she brought them out. Breakfast was also a treat with a selection of homemade items. A great way to end our holiday.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent evening meal. Very comfortable, big characterful rooms. Very kind and caring owners.
Cons: Difficult to find; chateau not on SatNav. Sign board only visible from one direction. Access to chateau from car park not clear.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful building in a beautiful surrounding. The room (suite St. Honore) is huge and marvelous. Breakfast was amazingly tasty and beautifully arranged. Dinners - we had three - were excellent: with wine, it’s really a bargain. Three friendly dogs add to the relaxed atmosphere. We had such a wonderful time! Many perfect spots for reading, daydreaming and quiet conversations. Although secluded, the place is a good base for traveling and touring Le Perche.
Cons: Wi Fi and cellular service are challenging: infrastructure allows only 1Mbs. Some might find this problematic, others will enjoy the getaway (for me it was an unexpected bliss). Anyhow, there are spots that allow service, in the lobby or in the front garden.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was very good, everything fresh. Dinner was good as well, it comes as an extra, but at a reasonable price. It's also a great spot for some outside pictures.

Pros: Great location and amazing food. Dinner is served en-famille with all guests eating together around one table at a set time. Everything is home made as the owner is a chef.
Cons: No shower in the room - bath only. No air conditioning, which normally wouldn't be a problem but when it's 37c outside it's sorely missed.

Pros: This was a chambre d'hotes out in the country. The owner (lady) was very pleasant and informative of the area and her garden, which was pesticide free. As we had eaten during the day, we have a picque-nique in her garden as suggested by her, which was just what we wanted. it made for a very pleasant stay for us in a chambre d'hotes rather than the usual hotel.

Pros: The lady (perhaps she was the proprietor?) who greeted us on arrival was excellent and welcoming - she spoke English but was also understanding with my efforts to speak French! I mislaid my watch and she went to great efforts to help find it. The evening meal was delicious - a real taste of Normandy. Our waitress in the restaurant was very helpful - all in all, the staff were pleasant (including monsieur at breakfast) and we recommend a stay in this beautiful area of Normandy.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic restaurant - highly recommended
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location on the main square of the village overlooking the bakery (which does the most delicious rum baba) Pleasant staff, both the owners and the waitresses for dinner Good food (we had dinner 2 nights) - local dishes (apple features a lot!) in set menus with extra "amuse buche" at good value; and the dining room is a lovely setting Room comfortable and quiet Continental breakfast extra, but good value and tasty
Cons: The description of the room and offerings was rather flattering; not as large as suggested, no toiletries apart from a shoe shine. The room wasn't cleaned that well - bed made but basin and used glasses not cleaned The lady of the hotel spoke English, but no-one else really did - a challenge to my lousy French! A slightly strange lay out to the building; apart from during the day you had to go outside to go back in for the reception and restaurant
10.0 Excellent
