Pros: Nice facade.
Cons: The man who runs the place (if you can find him) don't care about his guests. He doesn't speak English, and that's fine, but the problem is he does not care very much in trying to understand you. Our problem was that the heating was not working or something, and with -5° outside we didn't have the best of times there. So he didn't understand us, he made a face like "I don't care" and never came to the room to see what was happening (that in my book is the first thing to do if I don't get what a guest is trying to say to me, have a look for myself).
Pros: It's clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful, someone on the phone speaks English as well. Easy access, traditional wooden rooms. Shops and restaurants around. Free parking.
Cons: Shower faucet has to be replaced
Pros: location, nice furniture. Very nice coffee place nearby
Cons: the beed was very uncomfortable. A bit untidy overall.
Cons: Bad, no service. A dump. Tale IT out of your list.

Cons: In WC was strong smell of canalization
Pros: breakfast is the main value of the hotel :) location is good. We had a nice walking to the center which took us 20 min through some nice photo points
Cons: challenge to find a parking place even for 20 CHF
Pros: staffs are friendly. Nice bathroom.
Pros: Great location close to the motorway, perfect for our stopover. Really comfortable bed and sofa bed, for the kids. Great breakfast included in the room rate.
Cons: No complaints.

Pros: The view from my room was very beautiful. The room was very clean and cosy

We were given the Bern ticket for free when we checked in, which can be used on all public transports within the Bern city including the funicular connecting the hostel and the city centre. With the funicular you can get access to shops and restaurants quickly and easily. The staffs were very helpful and friendly.
Pros: I have stayed multiple times at this property, it is very central budget accommodation in Bern. Not only students stay here though, I’ve seen a lot of families, groups, best agers. Mattresses are very comfortable, lockers in the rooms can be locked. Large common areas: canteen with enough seats, fridge and microwave, as well as lounge with big table and some sofas and bar. Nice outside area with seating, big chess set and ping pong table.
Cons: Bathrooms cleanness is not the same as earlier.
Pros: Really nice hostel very close to the main railway station, staff is the best, receptionist guy is very kind and helpful
Cons: I’ve just missed eggs for breakfast, but still was nice to have breakfast included
Pros: Extremely friendly staff!
Pros: location is good. close to tourist spots, just that you have to climb uphill for 6 mins. rooms, facility, staffs are way better than i expected. i accidentally broke a switch in the room, they didn't charge me for that.

Cons: No room service. Bathroom and specially a floor was quite cold. Mattress was feeling little bit plastic and was uncomfortable.
Pros: Well located, friendly staff, quiet room and comfortable.
Cons: The housekeeping was late, we were out all day came back at 3 and the room was far away from being done. However, when I questioned reception they were on to it immediately and housekeeping came ASAP.
Pros: -located just outside of the train station -conveniently only steps away from town centre -efficient, welcoming staff
Cons: -considering Nespresso is Swiss, Nespresso machine in room should use real Nespresso pods, not cheap knock-offs

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Since the room I booked was the panorama double room, the view from the window was fantastic.
Cons: I wish there were some local cakes at the breakfast restanraut.
Cons: Great location but the rooms were too small
Pros: The best hotel even in Swiss for me. It was my second to visit and already excited for the third coming.
Pros: Staff are very good as is the cleanliness etc.
Cons: Building noise (drilling) even at 08:20 in the morning. Housekeeping took my razor and toothbrush (for some reason).
Pros: Mostly the reception staff beatifull helpful girls, also I loved the casino , and having easy transportation such as rupm, everything was perfect , it will be nice to visit Bern in summer, last I want to thank all girls at reception who gave me my first birthday gift , It was very sweet and kind of them , if I ever come to bern sure I will be at your hotel
Pros: We choose the panoramic view hotel (has some costs) although was worth it because you can relax and enjoy Bern city view. The most interesting part of the hotel is that you can enjoy the room and you have a Casino inside.
Cons: The hotel is under renovation and when we booked the hotel they should warn before that we would suffer some disturbing noise and maybe give the option to the guest if would like to stay with the reservation. At 8:00 they were starting the noises. Regardless that, the hotel is amazing when it would be ready.
Pros: Room view
Cons: Noise of renovation and booking.com never inform me. The bed is not comfortable, sunken in the middle and the staff try to apologize with the discount but I feel it did not compensate the experience we have.
Pros: The hotel was modern looking, and the room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The location was within walking distance to the city center or a quick bus ride. The staff was accommodating when it was late and I realized I hadn't booked my second night.
Cons: It would have been nice if the hotel had honored the first night's price when I had neglected to book my second night. I paid a much higher price. Sounds like some rooms had a better view.

Pros: I liked the location. my room was very quite and the bed very comfortable. nice overall space
Cons: Unfortunately there was no kettle in the room and I like my tea before going to bed :-) Breakfast did not have a nice choice of fruit. I would suggest a variety of morning smoothies as well
Pros: It was clean enough and the staff was kind.
Cons: There isn't minibar in the room and the bathroom is very small.
Pros: The room was clean and the hotel had great facilities such as a 24hr restaurant and bar which was great as we went as a group of friends over Christmas.
Cons: City centre was a 10 min tram ride from the hotel which was ok since public transport was free of charge, but still a little inconvenient late at night. The hairdryer was not great in the room unfortunately.

Pros: It's super clean and the kitchen is superb like you're at home with complete cooking utensils. My room is just next to the kitchen and bathroom so it's really very convenient for me. It's a bit far from the main train station but the hotel (or municipality ) provide to all guest an unlimited free bus ride around city so it's really not a problem if you don't want to walk 20 to 30 min to the main train station.
Pros: Lovely staff.. very professional when dealing with clients ❤️

Cons: Everything was top!
Pros: Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean rooms, nice breakfast.
Cons: Towels are not included in your stay.
Pros: There is a kitchen and the card system make it looks very safe, Besides, before I checked in I didn't know whether it is mixed with both gender or only. It surprising me with only females in the room.
Pros: If you need a place with parking and access to the city center, this is a convenient choice. It's hardly 10 minutes away from the old Town of Bern via a bus that stops right outside.
Cons: It doesn't really have much of a hostel feel, at least in the wintertime if you are also looking for a social component.

With a stay at Metropole Easy City Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Bern, within a 5-minute walk of Bern Art Museum (Kunstmuseum) and Clock Tower (Zeitglockenturm). Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff.
Cons: This is maybe one of the worst hotel I visited. Welcome back in the '60s. The bed are of bad quality and pillow even worst. The shower in a plastic monobloc from 1960 where the hot water is not a sure thing. Don't ask for a double bed, they will sent you from room to room with twins bed until you stop asking. The personal is absolutely useless and not caring. Didn't even ask how was the night - I guess they know how! Let me now talk about the cost of it ! Incredible for this level of service.
Pros: room, bed
Cons: No breakfast included
Pros: Fantastic location. Coffee and tea for free.
Pros: Great location, good shower pressure and temperature
Cons: Bed was a bit hard and bathroom in need of renovation. Not enough plug sockets for chargers.
When you stay at Hine Adon Apart Hotel Bern-Airport in Belp, you'll be 14 minutes by car from Freibad Marzili. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Very good value to price ratio. Just besides Belp train station, 15 minutes far from Been train station
Pros: The value for money was extraordinary. We liked the room and the kitchenette in the room. Everything was super clean and the room size was huge. We liked that it was possible to move the beds together to have one bed. "Hine Adon" refers to "God's presence". A positive and protective spirit flows through the house. We will come back as we have friends who live nearby and it is super practical to visit them for an evening and stay over night instead of driving home late in the evening.
Cons: The room temperature was quite high and we were not able to find a regulator to bring it down a little bit.
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff! New and shiny interior. Perfect location near train station.
Pros: it’s perfect for the price which they offer, only want to say, please make a double bed for 2 person which should have 1 bed, not a separate single bed,
Cons: want to add that please arrange or serve double bed for guests who like to have such.
Pros: The room was very clean, big and quiet. The kitchen was equipped at optimum quantity. We enjoyed our stay at this apart. The only problem we experienced was the entrance to the room because we spent long time to understand what our access code is.
Cons: The entrance is a bit complicated.
Pros: Nice space in the room, Good area to relax

Pros: Staff is very friendly and great to have 3 hours at the Aqua/spa park nearby per day. And great that kids are not charged for the nice breakfast.
Cons: Not much to mention, the only minus thing is maybe the location, it takes 25min to go to the city centre; but even that is comfortable because tram stops in front of hotel and you get a free public transport ticket for the entire stay.
Pros: the mall connection and it is close to the train station and tram station the view from the room !
Cons: room was COLD in November i dont like to use heated AC i prefer the wall heaters which was available in all the other hotels i stayed in also hot water took quite a while ? maybe because i am in 8th floor ? weak internet connection elevators can get crowded and slow breakfast wasn't that good except for the Croissants!
Pros: The free admission to the thermal baths is the star attraction here. Loved it! Everything else was very nice. Great bed and it was a nice touch including both a firm and soft pillow :)
Cons: For a solo traveler it’s just a bit too expensive for me
Kreuz Bern Modern City Hotel is in the heart of Bern, within a 5-minute walk of Bern Art Museum (Kunstmuseum) and Clock Tower (Zeitglockenturm). Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Planning an event in Bern? This hotel has facilities measuring 6458 square feet (600 square meters), including a conference center.
Pros: Our room had a balcony, had on-site washer and dryer, breakfast was good and the breakfast staff friendly.
Cons: No air conditioning so we left the window open at night and we awakened by street construction/trash collection noise early in the morning. The laundry on site is great but is only one person at a time and if someone leaves their stuff then no one can use the washer/dryer so you have to wait around.
Pros: Location is the best. Only a few minutes away from train station. The breakfast is rich with lots of selection. We told them that we were there for our honeymoon and the hotel wrote us a card and decorated the room for us.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
Pros: Staff was very helpful getting us to the parking and making accommodations for dinner (10% off at restaurant in hotel) Room was quite nice, bathroom was one of the few we stayed at with a real door. Location is amazing and right where you would want to be
Cons: Facing the street which was a bit loud at night
Pros: It's unusual to find such comfort in the very center of a mediaeval town. The original buildings have been beautifully renovated and updated. Bern's charming center and attractions are within walking distance. A public underground parking has a pedestrian exit just a few steps away. Public transportation is excellent - guests get a free pass. Various meeting and working premises are connected to the hotel. The restaurant makes "Oepfuchuechli", a Swiss specialty every foreign guest should taste (fried little apple cakes).
Cons: If you have trouble walking, ask for a room with direct elevator access - some take a few steps to get in (because of the buildings' old structure). View from our room only into a utility shaft.
Pros: The hotel is in a very good location in Bern. The staff was very helpful when asked for directions and tourist information.
Cons: The room was too small and the fact that you need to cross the restaurant to get to the room.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean, great location, good beds
Pros: The hotel is very central. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is great. There is a playground in the communal areas and a coffee/tea corner as well. The staff is very friendly.
Cons: We could not check in before 14:00. The room and bathroom are a bit small.
Pros: Great location in the heart of Bern's old town(building is very old-see photo), and easy walk to the bahnhof. When it's clear you can see the Bernese Oberland alps from the heights of the old town(overlooking an Aare river bridge and the Historical Museum)-see photo. (Something you probably won't find in a guidebook: about a ten minute walk from the hotel you can visit the place where Allen Dulles lived when he worked for the OSS in Bern from 1942-45-a first floor apartment in the mansion at Herrengasse 23).
Cons: Room a bit cramped for two people.
Cons: The room is very small with very basic stuff in the bathroom. The towels are old
