Pros: This is an older, quaint, simple, family run motel. It's in a great location just outside town and is very friendly and comfortable. It's a great value as well. I recommend it highly. Oh, it has excellent wifi which can be spotty in this area!
Maple Terrace Motel is a great choice for a stay in Williamstown. Guests can hang out at the outdoor pool or seasonal outdoor pool, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 10 AM.
Pros: Location--easy to find and close to our venue
Cons: Room was the smallest ever encountered in years of travel--maybe large enough for 1 person. Microwave location made it impossible to hang clothing. Took a long time to adjust water pressure and temperature in shower. Lying in bed it was obvious someone had begun painting the ceiling and not finished the job. Really!? And why would someone hang two copies of the same framed print in a room?

Pros: We were greeted very warmly and allowed an early check-in. The location was excellent, just a few minutes from Williamstown. A very cute old school motel with mountain views with continental breakfast included.
Pros: Friendly staff, who did their best to assist with faulty A/C, which eventually worked well.
Location and grounds were very nice, especially the patio area next to a babbling brook. Proximity to a good restaurant was a plus.
Room seemed recently renovated-shower was great!
Cons: Air conditioner wasn't on correct setting and room was hot initially.
Pros: Good location for all the Berkshires attractions. Convenient restaurant and continental breakfast. Nice stream on the property. Will probably use again in the future.
Cons: The shower was a bit mildewey and didn't drain completely.

Pros: The staff is very friendly. The rooms are huge and very clean
Cons: Breakfast is included and had a decent selection. A touch above a pure continental breakfast.
Pros: The staff was amazingly accommodating! But when you book, make sure to request the NEW SIDE OF THE BUILDING. The old side is... Old.
Cons: My fiancé and I wet first assigned to a room in the old side or the building. It just felt a little sad and tired. I called the front desk and the lovely clerk IMMEDIATELY switched our room to a new one which was great. Luckily we were there for a couple days that weren't too busy but if they can help you, they will. Seriously nice staff.

Pros: Our second visit to 1896. Staff pleasant and attentive to details. We chose the package with wine included. A bottle is delivered on your arrival. Nice touch after the drive. The Pub has a wonderful Chef and ambience! Great breakfast included.
Pros: Great breakfast, wonderful ambience. Beautiful location. Plenty of hot water. Plowed out quickly following snow!!
Cons: Lightning in room. Second visit, roimsvreslky need brighter lights.
Pros: Clean - the room was very clean. People - staff were all wonderful. Location - good base point to go out an explore. Food - the restaurant was excellent.
Cons: Was not expecting the road to have so much traffic. There are 3 buildings - one has the pool and the trade off is you have to cross the road to get to the restaurant. Not a big deal, just wasn't expecting that.
Pros: Staff, pub.
Cons: Claimed they had a heated pool...it was definitely not heated. Unusable as far as we were concerned. Charged $40 for 2 dogs. Should have listed this on reservations site. Only had 'may have additional charges for pets.'
Pros: The free breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant the night before was extremely accommodating for dinner when we didn't have a reservation. The restaurant staff and the food were excellent.
Cons: The room was poorly decorated in 1950's decor with a very unpleasant musty odor. Only 5 tv channels, The heat did not work. The temperature never got above 60 degrees all night long. Not worth the price we paid.

Pros: Within 15 minutes of three art museums and a world-class theater festival
Cons: The Breakfast room could have been open earlier.
Pros: NICE CLEAN AND QUITE VERY FRENDLY STAFF. CLOSE TO ALL KINDS FO FOOD PLACES
Pros: Location, it was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Plus it was very quiet.
Pros: Just like motels I remember as a kid. Nostalgic.
Cons: Too expensive.
This place is a dump and overpriced by at least 2x. At $--- it was a rip off.
Cons: Beds and bathroom were clean but the floor (rug) was dirty. The toilet leaked all night. It was cool but the heat was inoperative.
Pros: It served its purpose for the 12 hours we needed it. The shower was surprisingly great. There was no dresser which didn't matter but was odd but there was a fridge, microwave and iron
Cons: It was dated and not as clean as one would hope.
Expect to see signs of age in the bathroom...it's not perfect, but for the price and location it's well worth it. Very simple little motel, easy access into North Adams...and right next to the motel (about a 30-second walk) is a restaurant.
Pros: Hotel staff was friendly and very flexible in offering us a room that was large enough to accomodate our small dog and large family.
Cons: The room was a bit small, not much space to walk around in the room, but it is what it is.
Owner was very nice, location was great, bathroom was old but clean, beds comfortable. Nice to have a small refrigerator in the room and a coffee pot, however the cleaning staff didn't leave new coffee/sugar/cream for the following day.
Pros: The price was right since I was traveling by myself.
Cons: Old and tired, wireless didn't work.
Pros: Perfect motel for the price. No frills, good clean spacious rooms with free wi-fi, in-room mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Small simple breakfast included which was good (I had the bagels, fresh fruit and coffee).
When visiting Williamstown, The Villager Motel is a great choice to consider. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily between 8 AM and 10 AM. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Room was very clean, bed was extremely comfortable, property was pretty and well maintained, motel set far back enough to not get any road noise, price was wonderful, employee (owner?) was very nice
Pros: Hotel employee was very helpful and we got a great cabin that met our needs perfectly.
Cons: Both times that I used this motel, I had trouble raising staff for the check-in. I has to stand outside and call the telephone number on the door. Both times I was there it was poring rain. What would you do if you didn't happen to have a phone?
Pros: Coffee machine, clean, friendly staff
Pros: This was an older motel, but the rooms were very clean and neat. They had a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, good tv. Good place for the price.
Pros: Staff was nice, the room was clean, it was very inexpensive.
Cons: The towels in the bathroom were very small and thin.
Pros: Great location, well kept, taken care of.
Cons: There's no real lobby, which made check in and check out difficult.
Cons: 1. There are no king beds anywhere on the property despite our reservation for a king bed. Really that was just fraudulent. 2. The wifi signal was so weak as to be nonexistent. 3. The room may have been nonsmoking but it was too musty to tell for sure.
Pros: Great location
Cons: There was hair on my towels and on the sheets. The room smelled like cigarettes. Parkinglot not plowed from previous storm. Had to call front desk to have them unlock door to check in and out.
Pros: Perfect for a no frills overnight stay. Clean room in very good condition.
This motel is conveniently located on Route 7 about 20 minutes away from Tanglewood. There is a lake across the street and food within walking distance. We mapped the location on MapQuest and it was wrong so doublecheck your directions. The room was clean but had that old motel smell. The air conditioner worked well. The grounds have a swing and Adirondack chairs to rest on.
Pros: It is conveniently located about 20 minutes to Tanglewood.
Cons: The room was clean but it had that old motel smell.
When visiting Lanesborough, The Weathervane Motel is a great choice to consider. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Location and staff where great. In addition the price was right
Cons: This is in no way a 3 star. First off it is a motel and there is no newly renovated rooms. They were old and tire. Small tv. Small tiolet. For the night it was okay but not what i was expecting
Pros: The owners are just terrific!
Pros: I liked the BIG comfortable bed and the hot showers....!
Cons: every thing was fine
Pros: There was a nice pool that we sadly did not take advantage of. The staff at the front desk was nice.
Cons: Room was still dirty when we arrived, so we were 'upgraded'. That meant that we had to go to the back of the motel and climb a flight of outside stairs to our room. (The pool was out front) The indoor water at the place was totally discolored and dirty.
Pros: The hotel is in a nice quiet area. Easy access. When we had issue with the room that was allocated, they were happy to change us immediately. Happy for the price that we paid.
Cons: The receptionist was not so friendly, kept hanging up while we asking her about the location.
Pros: The continental breakfast was excellent! Also the location.
Cons: Smell in room, shower didn't work, the front desk guy commented that the owner was beaten up by a drug addict, a lot of swearing between workers in front of us and our kids.
Pros: The location and the price for the area. The room was fine and had all the necessary stuff.
Cons: Slightly old, could use some modernization especially more three prong plugs for charging phones etc. Staff handled our friend's problems with their room unprofessionally. So, staff could be more customer focused and friendly.
Pros: Tremendously accommodating staff. Staff took an hour of their own time just to help us when we had some car trouble and could not have been nicer about it. Great value and great people an easy walk to everything Williamstown has to offer
Cons: Rip-off, toilets didn't properly flush
Pros: i liked everything about my stay, including the reasonable price, the central location and, of course, my room.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, excellent rate and GREAT continental breakfast, even with hot chocolate
Cons: The atmosphere on the premises
Cons: I don't think the place has ever been cleaned - grit coming up from the somewhat clogged tub drain, a slightly bluish stain in the sink from the soap never quite getting washed away. Also, the desk guy was weirdly insistent about getting our email address.
Pros: Clean, decent rooms. Lots of room. Extremely nice family-owned hotel. The man at the front desk was an angel. While the facilities are a little defunct, you're paying an extremely low price for a clean, solid night's stay. Breakfast is a modest presentation of pastries and beverages- just a little something before you head out for the day. Altogether a really cute place to stay for cheap.
Cons: The only complaint people can possibly have with this hotel is aesthetics. Sure, its a little outdated, and that stinks. But it is clean and cheap and friendly. I highly recommend it.
Pros: Walking distance to shops and resteraunts.Staff was pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Smelled like moth balls and bathroom was tiny.
Enjoy your visit to Williamstown with a stay at Northside Motel. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. All rooms offer LCD TVs, refrigerators, and room service.
Pros: it is a quiet time of year and the setting is peaceful, which i prefer for a much needed restful environment
Pros: Decent price, quiet, good location.
Cons: I was charged twice at different rates with my name on another person's payment method, and now I'm trying to figure out how to get some of my money back for staying in only one room for one night. Online travelers be wary of the booking websites, try paying with cash or call hotels directly.
Pros: the room was good
Cons: the heater kept the room at 76 so i had to put the air on
Pros: The prices of rooms are reasonably inexpensive. Staff is very friendly. Complementary breakfast was a nice added touch to our stay.
Cons: We ran out of toiletries including toilet paper. One of our lamps had a broken bulb.
Cons: Noisy, room right on parking lot
Pros: Location, price.
Cons: Heat seemed to be on. Noise level high.
Pros: Nice beds! Microwave and mini fridge!
Cons: Bathtub didn't have a stopper that worked but everything else was great.
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly and ready to please. For the money, my room had a fridge, micro wave, coffee pot, ant safe for valuables. This seemed to be a lot for the price I paid, which for that area, seemed to be a more than reasonable $$$ value. Weather didn't permit pool use, but it was there for my use if I wanted it.
They are making attempts to be green. Several notices throughout the room made suggestions to help them in that endevoir.
This inn is also within walking distance to eateries etc.,and a short drive to Williams College. Very convenient!
Cons: I did not find it the cleanest of places. It wasn't terrible, but I could see things that needed improvement. Furniture was in need of some fixing...nothing dangerous, but some more effort to the smaller details in cleaning up the room would be beneficial. With that said, this was my second visit to this inn and I would go again. The friendly staff trying to please their customers make it a PLUS!
