We paid more in pet fees than we did for the room. I don't consider this place to be pet friendly. That part is a total scam.
Hospitality, location, stuff.
Everything was amazing
Bed was uncomfortable. Right across from fire station. That would have been nice to know.
This hotel has all the charm of a French quarter hotel and their staff was friendly and very helpful.
The balcony rooms are amazing a bit small but very romantic
The A/C and cool was HORRIBLE!!!!! The room would not cool off it’s the in if June in New Orleans cooling is a MUST
Bienville House is located in New Orleans and named after the founder of the city, Jean-Baptiste Le Moyne de Bienville. Previous to its current life as a hotel, the venue started out as a manufacturing plant, then turned into a firehouse, and then became a luxury apartment building. Currently, the Bienville House is owned by the Monteleone family and is part of the Historic Hotels of America.
With its spacious rooms and beautifully decorated interior, guests will see and feel the French charm of New Orleans as soon as they step foot into Bienville House. Rooms offered include, but aren’t limited to, a Sundeck Room, Superior Room, and Deluxe Room. Guests who prefer suites can book the Interior Suite, French Quarter Suite, and Penthouse Suite. Bathrooms have rain showerheads, Gilchrist & Soames toiletries, and Carrara marble. There are also private balconies for those who enjoy people watching. Additional amenities include cable television, complimentary hot breakfast, Keurig coffee maker, and free Wi-Fi.
There is so much to be enjoyed when in New Orleans. Foodies should be sure to visit places like Café du Monde, Criolle (a Creole bistro), and Arnaud’s. Cocktail lovers can enjoy a delicious drink at Carousel, which is an iconic bar that has a fully functional carousel. The city also has many seasonal events like a beignet festival in the fall, New Orleans Pride in the spring, Southern Decadence in the Summer, and Mardi Gras in the winter.
