Cons. Expefia booked us for only one night when I had asked for two. I did not catch the error in my confirmation email. When I checked in the clerk mentioned checking out after only one night. I poibted out the error and the staff person said “No problem.” The bext day about 1:00 the hotel manager calked me to say our reservation had expired and that we had to cone get out things or make another reservation at a much higher rate, over twicecas much as we’d paid through Expedia. We told her wecwould discuss this after we returned from the afternoon play and dinner. We did and refused to pay the higher fee of $525, collected our luggage and left heading out JFK and getting a hotel there giving we were due at 7:30 am the next morning. As we were leaving a staff person offered us a $350 rate. But by that time we were committed and left. If we had been offered this rate at checkin when the problem was identified we would have grafulky accepted the offer.
Pros. The service was superb! Diana was kind enough to offer a great place to take the kids for brunch, and always welcomed us by name. Serena greeted us with a smile and helped with a bag. Danny was also great.

Pros. Valet greeted us with a smile, never once complained about the excessively heavy bags he mounted onto his cart-5 in all. Gave us pointers on what to check out while we were in NY. Receptionist was amazing as well. We arrived very early and she was able to get us right into a room! The room was small but nicely decorated and very clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay!

Cons. The rooms are nice, but a bit dark. Would like softer towels.

Cons. I had to request twice at the front desk that an engineer come to my room to check on noise in the walls. The engineer said that nothing could be done as it is the result of water going down the pipes. Thus, my sleep was disturbed multiple times in the evening. In addition, I requested to be moved which they could not and did not offer to move me to an equal or better suite.
