A nice surprise!
Lovely little place. Small rooms, big bathrooms. Clean and tidy. Good breakfast. Quiet. Great location.
Needs some updating. Luggage stand in room was broken. Room had very few electrical outlets.
The rooms are quiet and confortable. The breakfast is nice.
All my hangers were broken, and the tv in the gym was working one day and disconnected the next day.
Like the clean, nice facilities, several blocks from two different Metros, near some restaurants Also, booked a double room through Amoma through Kayak (which the booking agency told me it would be two beds): The Hotel had given me a King room, luckily they were able to accommodate us and switch to double beds as booked.
The continental breakfast is limited: cereal, pastries, boiled eggs and coffee--until it runs out at 8:30am. No yogurt or fruit?
Car service that hotel arranged did not show up.
Great staff, wifi, comfortable room, great location (and on a quiet street). Price ok for NY. Breakfast was too simple to be called breakfast. I would stay here again.
Super-comfy bed, free wi-fi and the room rate, which was not excessive by NYC standards included breakfast. Good and safe neighborhood, within walking distance of nearby subway station to connect to midtown and immediately near a very lively pub area.
Breakfast selection was rather limited. The staff, while they did respond to our questions and requests, always seemed unhappy to do so. A smile wouldn't hurt.
fitness machines, steam and sauna great, location excellent, near many restaurants
Small rooms, charged for internet, elevator breakdown three times during stay
The room was beautiful with one of the largest bathrooms I have ever seen. It was also so quiet on each floor with only a handful of rooms. The staff were polite and helpful. We were right in the heart of the Financial district. I would stay again.
I enjoyed the staff's friendliness, room's cleanliness, continental breakfast and hotel's outstanding location for sightseeing in New York city. It is a hotel to which I will by sure return in the future.
My short stay (only 2 days). I should have stayed longer.
The room was lovely. It was clean, and I loved the decor. Very comfortable bed. Seriously, I wish I could have stolen it. The housekeeping staff was also very kind.
The people at the reception desk seemed very short and unavailable. Upon entering the hotel no one was even there to check us in. Also, when we called the desk for information, they weren't terribly accommodating. It was the only hotel I'd ever been in where reception was so unsavory.
Good location to lower Manhattan, subways. Breakfasts were convenient.
Exercise area not modern.
Quiet, Confortable, Location
The shower head was not working and water just fell out of it... no spray.
Area was in the middle of FD: top! but our room (601) had a nonstop air vault or sth similar: was like sleeping in an engine room. despite requests for solutions, nothing was dine: hence the bad notes for service as well: personell did not seem to care. not even upon leaving, when I only mentioned it as a side issue: no response whatsoever. Thus my conclusion: very bad service.
air vault in the room. hope this is typical to the one room only, because it was impossible to get a decent night sleep. nothing was done when we asked politely. maybe we should have been more blunt: bad and uninterested service. unfortunate because the hotel has the possibility of being a brilliant small secret in Manhattan
superb - given the lower than usual Manahhtan price I was expecting an average experience - totally five star, amazing staff, a real King bed rather than twins combined, marble bathroom - ideal location and quite - will return
no ironing board or iron -
Good location in Wall Street area, near to Battery Park, subway and buses conections.
The air coditioning / heating conduct makes a loud continuos noise that don't let you rest properly. The breakfast room it isn't big enough and it isn't comfortable.
Location and staff were very friendly.
Everything was perfect.
i found this hotel to be excellent= staff helpful and rooms large comfortable and quiet.
Very conveniently located hotel (walking distance from Liberty Island Ferries, World Trade Centre and subway (line 2/3). The hotel is clean and staff is efficient and helpful. Complementary breakfast and wireless internet are also very much appreciated.
the room was very quiet and clean.
close to important places in manhattan
