The Newport Hotels Cliffside Inn is a luxurious bed and breakfast located in the historic district of Newport, Rhode Island. Guests will be located next to the sand and sea and only a short walk away from shopping and restaurants in the area. The bed and breakfast is inside of a restored Victorian mansion from 1876.
Newport Hotels Cliffside offer old world charm with modern amenities to meet the needs of guests. There are 13 rooms inside the mansion, each with a king- or queen-sized bed, fine art, Oriental rugs, imported linens, spa bathrooms, and period fixtures. There are also LCD televisions and iPod sound systems to allow guests to relax and unwind in peace. Guests will also find hors d’oeuvres and wine at reception on a daily basis.
In addition to the rooms in the main mansion, there are also three cottage suites to choose from. Guests can expect luxury amenities along with antique furniture and décor of a coastal motif. Each of the suites is pet-friendly so guests can travel with their entire families and enjoy everything that Rhode Island has to offer.
This hotel offers gourmet breakfasts for all guests including homemade baked goods, yogurt, fresh fruit, and French press coffee. Newspapers are also in the parlor each morning so guests can catch up on what’s going on in the world. Guests will also experience complimentary parking, evening turndown service, and free WiFi while staying at the bed and breakfast.
