Super clean, close to highway and Foxwoods, great hidden gem!
Comfortable bed, clean, spacious, good bathroom layout, blackout curtains Weak microwave
The morning sunrise is wonderful. The motel is set on a hill facing east. The room was very clean. The location is easy on/off to highway. Beaches and Foxwoods are Close by. There's a Dunkin Donuts across the street. The highway is close so you have that noise in the background.
No frills here but it's clean. Good if you just need a place to lay your head. Close-ish to casinos and beaches.
The bed and pillows. Close to Mohegan. It looked like something out of a horror movie when we drove up. The desk attendant was really slow and almost didn't give us our purchased room due to renovations (that we didn't know about becauae no one said anything...). Over all I was a bit disappointed because I had just gotten engaged, and wanted a nice place to rest. Honestly should've paid more money to go else where. And the attendant at check in made us feel really awkward and uncomfortable. Get rid of that 100yr old man.
Easy check in Grimy, there was a hole in the wall in bathroom. Sheets and linens icky, we slept with our own blankets, used towels we bought at the Walmart near by. will not return or recommend!
The location was the best and only thing good about this place Everything. We had only booked for two nights and had to extend our stay. It was a pretty much sold out weekend for all area hotels so, we had to stay another night in this location. They no longer had the inadequate room that they had originally give us because the night clerk didn't tell them we wanted to extend, and offered us a smoking room for a total of $102. By the time we got to the room it was very late. My sister was staying at the Navy Lodge(which she loved) and told me they had left her a message that they had an additional room. Because of my stupidity of not asking her how much($75) we decided to stay here. It looked like someone had gotten sick to their stomach on the front door mat. The toilet didn't flush. My husband had to kill a number of flys. The room was dirty and run down. We left our luggage in the car because of the smell and had to run in and out in the early morning hours, in our sleep attire, to get our cloths for the day. The toilet didn't flush, the smell from the smoking had permeated the pillows. We had to wrap our sweatshirts around the pillows and crushed the two little bar soaps they provided, into the pillowcases. The light didn't work, the bed was bad, everything was so bad, I can't even comment anymore. Kayak needs to drop this location.
Room smelled like a bunch of mobsters had spent the day playing poker. The deeply engrained smell of cigarette smoke in the room. When I asked for a new room, they said no. Pretty sure all the rooms are smoking, so there was no reason to switch.
price everything else
For an inexpensive stay, it was clean and smelled good. Our "King" room was more of a full size bed, and the bed wasn't terribly comfortable, although not so bad we couldn't sleep on it.
Cheap hotel, won't stay here again! Everything!
Price "Continental Breakfast" was coffee and cereal. Half of electrical outlets in room didn't work. Water in bathroom backwards - hot instead of cold & vice versa.
It only costed me $60 for the room. Worst $60 I've ever spent. Bugs. EVERYWHERE. Stains on all the beds and bedding. Stains that look like blood on the mirror in the bathroom. Broken furniture. I didn't find any bed bugs, but I also don't know if I missed any. I still made sure to wash everything I brought home with me in extremely hot water. DO. NOT. STAY. HERE. Spend the extra 20-30 bucks at the days inn.
NOTHING Staff were RUDE. Room wasn't even cleaned when we checked in. Beds weren't made. There was trash everywhere and a dirty pair of underwear hanging. Disgusting!!!!
We were only staying for one night after visiting the casino. The bed was comfortable. The room is outdated and the toilet didn't flush on first try but overall for a short stay it was fine. We had a cheap rate so it was totally acceptable for what we spent.
Nothing. Very ghetto, horrible smell in the hotel, the receptionist was yelling at someone on the phone, people in there were very trashy. So bad, I decided to go to the Hampton inn. Right down the street.
I did not like anything besides free parking on site. Dirty pillow sheets, and towels! They both still had makeup on them and hair. Lighting fixtures didn't work, beds were uncomfortable, carpet had stains on them. There was an overwhelming musky smell throughout the motel hallways and it lingered in the rooms. I have a strong feeling this place houses homeless families, and there was a bunch of loitering throughout the parking lot and hallways. The mirror in my room had graffiti carved into the wood frame. Ugh just over all a terrible terrible excuse of a motel. Very disappointed you would think a motel chain was decent, this place is just disgusting I felt cleaner sitting in my car after checkout. I only paid $52 for the night after taxes but even that was pushing it for this place.
Bedroom ok for the money, bathroom fan too noisy. Common areas dated, dirty and smelly; graffiti in elevator. Room key card neede re-programming each night of stay.
The price, location I was in a non-smoking room that smelled of cigarettes. The comforter on our bed was riddled with cigarette burns. Kind of skeevy.
Nothing place was awful Everything was filthy
price coffee maker was broken and they did not have another one to offer. they said they are fazing out coffee makers in rooms.
The bed was comfortable The ice machine was out of order, the wall above the A/C unit was falling apart, no drink or snack machines, and I swear I saw a mouse!!!
Nothing I had to get a refund because the hotel was run down and the door wouldn't even close. Do not go here if you want to feel safe.
Not much. Room was big. Smell, creepy people hanging around make it feel with a welfare hotel, breakfast did not include decaf coffee, fruit or protein (not even peanut butter).
The price was very good, and the place really peaceful and clean
It was cheap. The lobby smelled like curry.
leaving it the next morning upon arrival I took 1 look and turned to get the sleeping bag out of the car to place atop the worn dingy bed spread. I did not want to touch it at all. the floor was warped and pushed up in areas. the shower was pretty disgusting as well.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Nothing The Staff was absoutely horrible and very rude! I would NEVER recommend this hotel to ANYBODY!
It's proximity to the location we were visiting Room was very dated and run down. Bathroom was very small. TV did not always work.
The location was exactly where I needed to be.
Location Poor room upkeep
Location. That's about it. Close proximity to Misquamicut Where to begin? -Rude staff from the beginning. -Bare bones room that was no bigger than a walk-in closet. -Was overcharged and had to call back to get my money back, which I'm still waiting on
Owner was very friendly and was very accommodating to me and my friends! TV did not work.
Not much,no bedbugs, location was good shower very very small,no sink in bathroom,no Kleenex, paper towels, curtains were paper unable to open for fresh air, stinky, could hear couple next door at night
