Pros: Easy access off the Interstate and near the airport. Very friendly hosts and a great breakfast.
Pros: Excellant accomodation welcoming hosts, very clean, location excellant near the airport great home cooked breakfasts.
Cons: Liked it all.
Pros: Fantastic hosts, amazing breakfast would highly recomend!
Cons: Didn't find the bed comfortable but I'm pretty fussy when it comes to sleeping.
Pros: Lovely property in a quiet rural location, owner friendly and helpful, room spacious and comfortable, excellent freshly cooked breakfast, also close to the airport and Halifax.
Cons: Lack of facilities in room to make tea /coffee
Cons: the check-out time 10h was unfortunately implemented strictly - no discussion
Pros: Beautiful room and excellent hosts

Pros: we were very happy with the location and facilities. Loved our stay
Pros: The property is lovely. It's relaxing and peaceful with a beautiful inside décor. Owners are very outgoing and friendly. Staff member was exceptional to meet any need we had. Dining area is very pretty. Our bed was wonderfully comfortable!
Cons: Our breakfast was very filling, however not really memorable (except for some delicious bacon!) It was just a little dry--dry scrambled eggs, dry pancakes, dry store bought toast, dry store bought pastries. Just one bakery item would be a nice touch! The only reason we did not give a 10 rating is because it is after all a Bed and Breakfast and breakfast was not so great.
Pros: Perfect and calm
Pros: Very friendly homely feel from the owners and staff.
Cons: We had booked the upstairs room with the private bathroom, for $118. Hurricane Dorian had caused extensive damage to the bathroom, which needed repairs. We moved across the landing to another room with ensuite bathroom, but were charged $145. I think a neighbourly thing to do would have been to give us a discount on the new room.
Cons: Needs a good dusting and cleaning
Pros: Beautiful relaxing place to stay! Breakfast was amazing and they were able to accommodate gluten free!
Cons: Everything was great!
Directly linked to the Halifax Stanfield International Airport, the Alt Hotel Halifax Airport is definitely your best alternative when you need to re-energize on longer stopovers. Modern rooms with absolutely everything you need: a comfortable bed, a nice hot shower, super-fast Wi-Fi. All this in a modern environment where you can sit back, relax and enjoy a drink.
Pros: Neat room layout, very European , clean and clinical almost. Kind of like ikea meets a prison cell. Liked the Venetian blinds and a blackout blind overtop of the them.
Cons: Wifi was weak and there was no bathroom fan that I could find . There was definitely one there but no switch to turn it on.
Pros: Close to the airport
Cons: No complimentary breakfast
Pros: Great location
Pros: The secret sauce is the fabulous staff!!!!!
Cons: The uncomfortable large chair in room. Would like slippers and perhaps bathroe
Pros: The location was so great for an early (5am) flight! The cafe was open 24 hours so we were able to get decent food before checking in across the pedway. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room was very small. The pool was very small (and cold!).
Cons: Although I had just enjoyed a 5 night stay at ALT Hotel in St John S, we had to make this reservation at the very last minute; arriving after 1 5 hours travel. Unfortunately due to the business of the day my daughter made a reservation for the wrong night 9not hotel s fault. As a solo traveller I did not appreciate being not only told that the hotel was full, but also the fact that front desk were completely indifferent including the fact that I had a major headache. Along with snap Travelers NON reservation in Halifax, I would ensure that next time we had made reservations at our Norma; ; marriott. But thanks to the ALT in St John s anyway!!
Pros: location perfect
Cons: complimentary tea, coffee, fruit in lobby would be good
Pros: Location to airport
Cons: No fridge in the room
Pros: Easy access to the airport over the skyway is the number one feature of this hotel. Staff were very helpful, and the little bar/snack bar was perfect for our needs.
Cons: We found the room a bit too minimalist. No bedside table on the far side, and we didn't find the coffeemaker which was tucked around the corner. We found it quite expensive. Itwas, however, clean and functional, and did the job for a quick overnight stay.
Pros: We love the amenities and proximity to the airport. The ALT happy hour is awesome too!
Cons: It is a really small thing, but a little more light in the bathroom would have been great !!
Pros: If you have an early flight, it’s nice to get up have a quick bite and go check in.
Cons: It would be nice to have a full hot breakfast option

Pros: It was conveniently located by the airport and had a free airport shuttle. Rooms were a good size and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: There is a lot of highway noise, more noticeable at night. There is no restaurant in the hotel and the one at the adjacent hotel had a limited menu. There is a $10+tax/night parking charge for all vehicles.
Cons: We know that they are renovating so things were being updated. We understand why the place is in such condition. It will be better in the new year
Pros: In addition to the comfort provided, the staff was extremely helpful in giving local directions and making suggestions.
Pros: Did not really like anything about this hotel. The hotel is under renovation and is very very dusty, hallways, entry, rooms, public spaces. Hotel staff were abrupt and unfriendly. This was especially true of the night clerk.
Cons: Dusty from construction, everywhere, including the rooms. Staff unfriendly and acted bothered by my presence. Would NOT recommend this hotel. Stay at the Garden Inn instead, same chain and just as close to the airport.
Pros: like the breakfast, staff very helpful.
Cons: We were on the first floor where renovations could be heard being done. Normally that is understandable but difficult to sleep with noise. They should avoid when possible to rent lower rooms.
Pros: It was close to the airport and easy to get to. The breakfast had a good variety of foods. The beds and pillows were comfortable.
Cons: The price was high.
Pros: Shuttle from the hotel is excellent and convenient. Breakfast was also very good.
Cons: A constant buzzing sound from the heating/cooling unit was very annoying and made it difficult to sleep. Also the HUGE lumps they use for pillows are very uncomfortable. A decent size pillow would be much more appropriate.
Pros: Used this one before and always satisfied with it.
Cons: Yea, they gave us a handicap room.
Pros: The hotel was under construction but they did a great job of it not interring with quest.
Cons: Not much in the area.
Pros: Helpful friendly staff
Cons: Close location to the airport
Pros: The bedroom was very comfortable.
Cons: There wasn't a good food service there. But we went next door to the Hilton and had a wonderful meal.
Pros: Our room was on the first floor behind the front desk. We were afraid we would hear lots of noise from the hallway, but surprisingly never did. The room had recently been renovated, so was nice and clean. Next door restaurant had great food.
Cons: The front desk people can be rude. Especially the 3am worker at checkout. She kept snapping at us about checking out, then about a receipt, and finally the shuttle. All while she was suppose to be checking out someone else in front of us.

Pros: Check-n and check-out
Cons: Service at the bar/restaurant is terrible. Ignorant and uncaring staff.
Pros: The Bistro served us a nice after we arrived late 9pm
Cons: We got what we expected
Pros: Proximity to the airport. My husband travels every 10 days and we stay here a lot but this was the absolute last time.
Cons: Everything but the location, one young man with an accent is the only person I have ever seen exerting himself to work.
Pros: The staff was extremely accommodating to our needs and requests.
Cons: Our stay was too short
Cons: Rooms were beat up, carpet had marks, walls badly marred. Breakfast room was cold and drafty.
Pros: Close to airport and great shuttle
Cons: They gave me a wrong key when I checked in. So I got a key to someone else's room with all their stuff in it. Would have been super awkward if they had been in their room
Pros: It's comfortable, clean and located close to the airport. The convenient complimentary airport shuttle is great.
Pros: Clean, convenient and friendly service! Great location with a regular shuttle to and from Halifax Airport.
Pros: the front desk staff were friendly and helpful.I really appreciated being able to leave my car while I was away.
Pros: Proximity to airport
Cons: Dated decor, yucky paint, old feeling
Cons: Dated, hard to clean bathrooms
Pros: Staff were amazing. The pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: I paid $130 plus tax. It was just too expensive for me.

Cons: Renovations, no pool even though the pool is advertised. It's been out for a month.
Pros: It was convenient to the airport.
Cons: It’s was noisy for sleeping. I could hear the constant drone of the main hotel air conditioning all night.
Pros: It was a nice lobby. They were doing renovations so I am sure it will be more of a 10 for the rooms. I felt they should have told us ahead of time about the work. The bed did t seem finished. The staff was great.
Cons: They were doing renovations on our floor and I felt they could have asked us if we wanted to move floors. We made our reservations long before our stay. The bed wasn''t finished.
Pros: super fast check in and check out, close to the airport, clean, you know what to expect and it delivers
Cons: they did not answer the phone for room service so I had to take the elevator down and order directly from the restaurant, not the end of the world but it defeats the purpose of room service
Pros: Comfortable beds
Cons: The staff was not helpful, seemed inexperienced, and rude. The pool and hot tub we're closed for renovation.
Pros: Proximity to airport, friendly staff and clean rooms.
Cons: Felt we should have been informed it was under renovations .
Pros: Location and friendly staff
Cons: The construction going on
Pros: Very clean and excellent location near the airport.
Pros: Room was clean and comfy.
Cons: Currently under renovation. Corridors were being redone.
Pros: I didnt buy breakfast.
Pros: Construction going on. It mentioned when I booked. Woke up to hammers banging on the wall
Cons: Hotel is totally under construction
Located in Bedford, Stardust Motel is by the ocean, within a 15-minute drive of Halifax Shopping Centre and Dartmouth Crossing. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: location is good
Cons: outlet less and WiFi poor
Pros: Room was clean enough although very dated. TV worked and had lots of channels
Cons: Very dated. Blankets were antique! Fridge very noisy. No in room coffee. Bathroom tiles were black with mildew.
Pros: the room was clean and cozy, the beds were very comfy but the bathtub was the best part. Very well kept little motel
Pros: Nice big room Happy to have kitchen counter and sink - but thought from ad that I would have stove burners as well Thai restaurant beside was delicious
Cons: Parking lot was a zoo - very tight Busy street for noise and to get into motel
Pros: It was close to all amenities, and had a park just around the block which was dog friendly
Cons: Would have been nice to have a newer tv so that you could plug in a HDMI cable. The bathroom and kitchenette was still in the 1970's
Pros: So incredibly clean. Friendly staff. I would recommend the stardust motel to everyone.
Cons: Need coffee available all day, not just until 11 am
Pros: Room was very clean, staff were friendly.
Cons: Very loud with neighboring room fighting all night and multiple times the door was knocked on by randoms.
Pros: The location is perfect for us as it is within walking distance of our son who lives on Nelsons Landing and the shops and bank at Mill Cove. The bus stops directly outside the hotel too for when we needed to go further afield.
Cons: When renovations were started on Room 26 where we were originally booked, we were moved to a room that was already renovated (at no extra cost). While the new look room was very nice and just as comfortable, we found it a bit short on storage as it had only one chest of drawers where the older room had two.
Pros: The first room I was given was too noisy so I requested and was moved to a better location. I did have to pay more though.
Pros: It was just outside of the city so the commute was just a few minutes. Room was clean
Cons: The room should have a toaster
Pros: Staff very helpful, room very clean, good bed and Thai restaurant next door.
Cons: No coffee/tea making in room.
Pros: Value... a place to meet
Cons: Small bathroom ... no counter
With a stay at Worthington Place Luxury Accommodations in Bedford, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Bayers Lake Business Park and Halifax Shopping Centre. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Located in Bedford, Esquire Motel is within a 15-minute drive of Dalhousie University and Halifax Waterfront Boardwalk. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Old but clean
Cons: The beds were not comfortable at all. Rooms have never been updated
Pros: I’ve stayed there for years. Reasonably priced and easy to get to.
Pros: Everything worked.
Cons: Outside appearance could be improved, sidewalks, door paint and window frames.
Pros: It was very welcoming to families with puppies like our own.
Cons: Very outdated rooms
Pros: Location is good; Esquire restaurant across the road is a popular spot with good diner food. Suite infrastructure was very tired. On the good side, bed was comfortable, and the place inside was pretty clean (walls and windows and the front door could use some elbow grease, but otherwise fine). Good little refrigerator and microwave; tv cable service fine. Wifi adequate for email and some searching.
Cons: Some electrical outlets didn't work and, as it was an older building, there weren't very many of them. Faucets on the bathtub were in bad shape and mineral-coated; tile wall could have used some grout cleaning. Water tasted horrible. Hair dryer was a true fire hazard but, in fairness, the management took it out when I told them about it.
Pros: Staff friendly and accommodating.
Cons: A plugged bathtub was not repaired (no attempt made) even after being reported. Hotel is in need of major renovations and presents somewhat of an overall shoddy appearance.
Pros: Location is good. Staff is lovely
Cons: It was “doable”. Bathroom was old, rusted, outdated. Furniture was old, dingy. For $120 I would expect more.
