Pros: The location can’t be beat! Right in the park and close to lots of hiking trails. Free parking overnight. Cooking and eating utensils and dinnerware are all provided. Free coffee and tea! Very clean. Great indoor and outdoor spaces to eat and hang out in.

Olema House is located about an hour north of San Francisco. Formerly known as the Lodge at Point Reyes, this hotel sits on the edge of the Point Reyes National Seashore, offering a quiet escape for those looking to explore the West Marin Coast. There is plenty of outdoor adventure to be found in the area, which is surrounded by national forests and conveniently located just off of Highway 1, including hiking, biking, kayaking, bird watching, fishing, and more. Guests can visit nearby Sculptured Beach, Limantour Beach, and the Point Reyes Lighthouse. Olema House is a boutique-style accommodation, offering just 22 guest rooms along with two private cottage rentals, all set on four acres of private gardens. All guest rooms include private bathrooms, radiant-heat flooring, luxury bedding and linens, complimentary WiFi, flat-screen TVs, and beautiful views of the gardens, Olema Creek, and Inverness Ridge and Mount Wittenberg. Select suites include optional fireplaces, private terraces, and pet-friendly accommodations. Cottages are fully furnished for guest convenience and include full kitchens and private residence-style accommodations. Cons: Parking is tough. We were lucky but I can see easily having to park elsewhere although it looks like they have some property to annex for overflow if needed
Pros: Newly renovated. The rooms are very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast is included. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The restaurant next door is excellent. Great stay!!

Pros: The grounds are lovely. It was wonderful sitting outside near the creek, sipping coffee in the morning. The room was comfortable with a window box seat overlooking the gardens. Breakfast was also tasty and plentiful.
