Pros: Everything! Marco and Angelo were beyond warm and gracious. Everything you could possibly need is available. The linens and the bed were the absolute best. While the room may be a bit small, it is warm and cozy....and cool in the summer. (It has the quietest cooling system I have ever seen) The breakfast each morning consisted of fresh fruit and a vey yummy breakfast. Egg burrito one morning and waffles the next. Absolutely would return!
Cons: I loved everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything! The hospitality, the location, the linens, the breakfast, the attention to detail and the quietness of the rooms. We rented bikes at a local bike shop that were high quality and loved exploring the rail line on them. We can't wait to return!
Cons: Everything was truly perfect, but I guess it would have been nice to have bikes on the property as opposed to having to pay extra.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay! Here are the five main reasons: 1) The owner and the staff is wonderful, attentive, and caring. We felt really welcome. The owners really know how to run a top B&B business. 2) The breakfast is awesome. Made to order, fresh, and delicious. Much better than typical buffet breakfasts at hotels. 3) The house is beautiful and the rooms are nicely decorated. There were cute little touches in the room like a hand-written note, chocolates, etc. 4) The garden is beautiful and peaceful. Although the property is right next to a road, it is quiet inside the gardens and in the morning you can go sit and listen to birds singing there. 5) The bed was super comfy! We had such a nice sleep. And there were blackout drapes in the room which was nice.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marco, one of the Innkeepers was amazing and along with the rest of the staff really took care of our every need. Breakfasts were great and imaginative. The room was fabulous and we would want the same room for the next trip. Very enjoyable experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were excellent, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfect, stylish, up dated, very clean. A lot of care was taken with presentation. The breakfasts were delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staying at Marco's and Angelo's Inn was perfect. We loved the details in the house and the garden. Breakfast was amazing and the cookies and brownies in the aftnernoon were the best :-) Highly recommended
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts were excellent. Angelo's mother's recipes were fantastic.....!!!!
Cons: Rooms were a little on the small side, but as it's an historic building, there's nothing that can be done. Obviously nothing to do with The Candleberry Inn, but the entrance into Cape Cod, via Route 6, was unspectacular. I expected to be able to see the sea with great vistas, but it was just road tarmac and trees on either side.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spotless and very cute. Really high quality toiletries, tea and coffee and fresh cookies every day. Different home cooked and delightful breakfast each morning and also the charming hosts with a wealth of advice and help when ever you need it. Oh and the beach towels and chairs to borrow when you need them. We all really loved this place.
Cons: Nothing. This place is lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Angelo and Marco were wonderful hosts! Angelo’s breakfasts and cookies were scrumptious! Candleberry is a gem on Cape Cod...gorgeous landscape and beautiful historic Inn. We will come back, for sure! Everett and Cheryl, New Mexico.

Pros: John was awesome and very informative and friendly! Was always available to answer questions and provide us with extras we needed.
Cons: Depending on what you’re looking to do on the Cape, Eastham is definitely a nice family town with lots of beaches but in terms of getting to the hot spots for sight seeing it’s in the middle between the top and bottom of the Cape so lots of driving!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This B&B has all the charm expected of a centuries old cape cod inn. The gardens and outdoor seating areas were welcoming and lovely. The breakfast melon and French toast delicious. Even better was the owner/host Brian who was friendly and accommodating and communicated with us before and during our stay. Breakfast offers a different, delicious specialty every morning in a charming dining room staffed by a cheery and attentive wait staff. Comfortable sitting rooms on the first floor are complemented by gorgeous grounds with wonderful places to enjoy sun, shade, wind chimes, conversation or a quiet read. We loved the fire pit at night. There's always something to munch on, and coffee, tea, water, and soda are available all the time, not to mention the wine and cheese hour from Wednesday on. We enjoyed our stay so much, we booked our next stay the minute we got home!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Had everything we needed. Beach chairs, umbrella, bikes. And ice, scrabble. Coffee tea. Cookies! Comfortable bed. Good water pressure. Lovely breakfast room
Cons: Not sure about location. Would have preferred to be closer to the ocean. But it was close to a small beach on the bay side. You were able to walk out at low tide for miles. It was unique It was an hr drive to Provincetown. About 20 min to ocean side of Cape Cod.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Picturesque - peaceful- warm and welcoming hospitality Charming decor and setting - real Cape Cod Wonderful welcome by Jo Ann, the owner- made our family feel at home immediately A perfect breakfast served personally by Elsie, the Chef: French omlettes, eggs benedictine and much more Thoughtful attention to detail- Warm cookies and fresh lemonade laid out for guests each afternoon, well stocked Keurig coffee machine and a refrigerator available for guest use Daily housekeeping of a high standard. And the beds are out-off this-world comfy! My husband and I are from the hotel industry- he has managed Intercontinental and Crowne Plazas in several countries around the world; we have stayed in a variety of hotels, Inns and BandBs. Jo Ann’s place is among the very best. We would return to Sea View Inn in a jiffy!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food was excellent. The location was fine and the amenities at the inn were great as well. Jo-Ann and the staff were awesome. The only suggestion I would have is to add bathtub mats to the rooms. As a klutz, I'd appreciate it for the next time!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The property was beautiful, very typical of the region style wise but done to an amazing standard. The hosts were amazingly welcoming, very helpful (things such as reservations were done with no fuss) and made it feel like we were staying with friends not in an inn. Grounds were pretty. Breakfast was immense, great options, all to a high standard - very recommended! And quick too. Not a bad word to say really. Would definitely come back here if I’m back in the region again.
Cons: We booked thinking we were closer to the coastline than we were. If you’re expectations are to be super close to the water then it’s not ideal. That said, we rented bikes and were very quickly by the sea. It wasn’t an issue for us!

9.7 Excellent
Pros: The inn is very cozy, with a relaxed atmosphere. It is tastefully decorated with Cape Cod nautical theme, using authentic antiques, but is understated, not overdone. The breakfast is ample, with fresh pastries. In the afternoon, they have fresh home baked cookies and coffee, and provide the makings for some-mores if you want to make a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Each room is different, in keeping with the Inn's history. The building itself has been restored, with careful attention to all architectural details, inside and out, which added to its charm. The staff were all extremely friendly, polite and helpful. We will definitely be back.
Cons: Because the building is old, the A/C had to run constantly to keep the system balanced, but the temperature was comfortable. There was just a constant background noise from the duct work.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Innkeeper was very nice, friendly and accommodating. Good location to Cape and places to go.
Cons: Just a little noisy. We had a street facing room and street is very, very busy.

Pros: The owners were great, there was lots of options for breakfast, coffee and cookies in the afternoon, my downsides are it was always cold in our room and the bed was hard as a rock
Cons: My downsides are it was always cold in our room the owner said she turned off the AC but it was still blowing cold air and the bed was hard as a rock

Pros: Nice and clean, very authentic Awesome !!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The Inn itself is gorgeous with plenty of space to sit and relax, a fireplace, coffee, cookies and hot cider in the afternoons and a very nice continental breakfast in the mornings with coffee, fresh fruit and fresh baked goods. Wine glasses and openers are available as are a small fridge, hot chocolate packets and assorted teas. They have board games and a library. We were upgraded to the Sunrise room - a lovely surprise! Since it was off season we didn't take advantage of the many outdoor spaces to sit and relax but I'm sure it's lovely on a warm summer night!
Cons: No shades/blinds on the windows. Shower curtain on the shower rather than a door.

The breakfast was not only delicious but almost so pretty we didnt want to eat it!. Donna and Byron made us feel so at home. It was a quiet and homey atmosphere. There are even blankets at the front door to use if it's cold outside in case you want to just sit on the front porch. Harrison, the innkeepers dog was friendly and loved any extra attention offered. We would go back again and recommend this Inn to anyone!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Donna and Byron and the staff were exceptionally attentive and gracious. The breakfast was gourmet (without being "strange"), fresh and generous. The afternoon cookies were so good we planned an afternoon tea break and skipped desserts at the restaurants. We had massages that regenerated our tired bodies and spirits. We came home feeling rested and invigorated.
Cons: The coffee - served fresh, hot and frequently, was similar to Starbucks coffee, which we do not like as much. We drank multiple cups, so your know it wasn't bad. The wifi was iffy - it kept coming in and out.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Pete was great with good local info and the breakfast bar was better than 95% of the big hotels.
Cons: Shower was small and on the schedule for renovation this fall.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This inn is to pin on the map whenever heading to eastern Cape Cod. It offers everything you would wish for: comfort, nice pool, short walk to the beach, easy to get to, authentic style, friendly staff, great breakfast.
Cons: Breakfast starts at 8:00 which can be a little late when planning daylong activities or simply when being a early riser. This is a minor detail in comparison to the great experience we had.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So many wonderful things about Ship's Knees Inn. Peter was so kind and helpful on our arrival, the breakfasts are delicious yet healthy, and they go above and beyond to provide information about anything and everything Cape Cod you could think of. You can tell how much love they have put into this place and into making it a real treasure for their guests. The building is full of character and beautifully decorated with all kinds of interesting and quirky local paintings and artefacts, and we loved the natural gas fire pit outside which was lovely to sit by in the evening. The facilities were great too - cold and hot filtered water on tap, and coffee and teabags and biscuits all day.
Cons: The one and only thing I wished had been different was for breakfast to begin earlier - it is served from 8am to 9.30am and it would have been great to have this from 7/7.30am so that we could start our walks earlier. This is a family run business though, so I entirely understand that it wouldn't be fair to ask for staff to get up so early. Talking of early starts, don't miss sunrise at Nauset Beach just down the road - gorgeous!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity to beaches, galleries, and restaurants.
Cons: It rained for 4 days
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was wonderful. Owner helped us with our luggage. Thank you. Being close to the beach.
Cons: I think the site said partial beach view but window was blocked with a bush. This probably needs to be changed or maybe I just read it wrong. This did not bother us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The inn is beautiful! So much thought has gone into every inch of the space. They’ve created spaces inside and out that invite gathering. It was a perfect get away.
Cons: Not a thing.

Pros: The cove is conveniently located, and the room was spacious with nice furniture and bedding. There is an enclosed swimming pool on property. It has a beautiful setting with landscaped grounds and flower beds.

6.3 Good
Cons: Pretty much a motel from the 60's.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sally was warm and friendly and full of information about the area. The room was very clean and the refrigerator and microwave were spotless and in good working order. The beds were comfortable and the towels were lush. Housekeepers did a wonderful job keeping the room tidy and well stocked. The room we rented had two double beds and the large windows on opposite walls made it seem larger than similar motel rooms we have stayed in. It was bright and cheery even on dismal days. The motel felt like it was nestled deep in the woods even though it was right off the highway. We walked a short path from the back of the motel directly to the rail trail. From the rail trail, we walked a path through the woods right to a small overlook on the National Seashore.
Cons: We had no complaints.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and cozy.

Pros: The place is impeccably clean. Sally, the owner, was friendly and very accommodating. The place is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping centers, the beach, and the infamous outdoor movie theatre. The property is also accessible to the bike path. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love staying here. Stayed here twice last summer. Once so far this summer..2019. Came up the week following 4th of July this summer. Stayed 4 nights. The rooms are very clean. Beds are comfortable. Shower has plenty of hot water and good water flow. Plenty of clean towels. They have "quiet time" from 10 pm to 7 am, which is courteous to everyone. Muffins for breakfast are delicious and always freshly made on site. Owners are terrific...friendly and helpful. Staff is always polite and cheerful, and maintain the rooms well. Room rates are reasonable and a good value. There's a pool on site which is convenient, but I've never actually used it...preferring the short drive to Skaket Beach. Convenient location to restaurants, Cape Cod League -Orleans Firebirds, shopping plaza across the street includes a grocery store, etc.
Cons: Can't think of anything I didn't like.

5.0 Okay
Pros: The location is what we needed most and this worked.

Pros: Southfleet Inn was a gem! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We took advantage of the facilities (indoor and outdoor pool) and continental breakfast! We appreciated that it was pretty much located in the middle of everything. Great Value! We had an awesome time!
Cons: Wished they had vending machine access 24/7. The vending machine was inside the office/lobby area but it was closed at a specific time, so we couldn’t get snacks.

Cons: Needed extra towels each day but wasn't difficult getting them.
9.3 Excellent

Pros: Cleanest motel!!! Location very convenient to ocean, sites & good restaurants. We're seniors & enjoyed convenient access to things in area. Returning to theCape 3rd time, didn't even try another motel, knowing previous 2 Southfleet visits were good experiences.
Cons: Bathtub could use a safety bar.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is optimal for access to all beaches.
Cons: Pillows were aweful and old.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great for a few low key beach days. Perfect location, convenient to beautiful beaches, restaurants, and sights. Breakfast, while minimal, was adequate and well stocked and allowed us to get a quick start to the day. Having bicycles for guest use was also an unexpected convenience as the bike trail is right across the street.
Cons: The bathroom was extremely small with a round pedestal sink. It was frustrating trying to juggle everyone’s toiletries and get ready with absolutely no counter space.

Pros: The property was outstanding! Right in the center everything.. 5 mins to orleans rotary, and 5 mins to the wellfleet drive in!! Staff was so friendly, and the lot was beautiful! Highly recommend.
Cons: Everything was perfect!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The old fashioned feel of a quaint motor lodge. Outside areas were great with a pool, swing set, great woodsy fire pit, and plenty of picnic tables and barbecues for guests use. Also, the breakfast room and the free AM coffee with real to go coffee cups was a huge bonus. Price was better value than all neighboring hotels.
Cons: The decor and size of the rooms. Rooms are too dated. A change of carpet, furniture, and linens with a brighter, more beachy motif and the rooms would make this gem that much better. Also found the beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Loved everything else and would stay again.

Pros: The room was very spacious and comfortable; even the sheets seemed to have been washed in very good fabric softener. The breakfasts were amazing and were done at a gourmet level. The Inn itself was on a nice quiet street and the approach to the Inn was right out of a travel magazine with a white fence with a cool whale sign near the street. Pros: Great location, super friendly helpful staff, quiet at night when we got back to go to sleep. Cute!
Cons: The layout of the room was a little weird, you couldn't really see the TV, but we were at the beach most of the time anyway, and I don't know what the other rooms were like.

Pros: There were insects everywhere and I got bitten in the forehead while asleep. Nasty disgusting place.

Pros: The location was great...walkable distance to shops, restaurants and the bike trail. The grounds of the hotel were picturesque, with picnic tables and plenty of places to sit and relax outdoors. The pool was large and inviting.
Cons: There were a few minor maintenance issues that need to be addressed, which is not surprising in an older establishment. It was not clear in their advertising that breakfast was included, and as a person with dietary restrictions, I would have appreciated knowing beforehand that a refrigerator was included in the room.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The bed was pretty nice and the continental breakfast was better than expected
Cons: It was extremely outdated and we would find ants and other bugs around the place. The parking was difficult and the air conditioning unit was so cold on the lowest setting we could only turn it on in spurts until we started to get overheated again
7.5 Good

Cons: Very dated. Could really use some upgrades.

Pros: Great location in Eastham, near restaurants, beaches, bike paths. Area is quiet but near every where we loved to go. Indoor & outdoor pools were a bonus, as we vacationed there in early June. Tennis courts also a bonus and there’s a restaurant onsite. Spacious and met our needs. Staff were friendly and helpful/responsive.
Cons: Restaurant kitchen closed early in the evenings.

Pros: Clean and comfortable, staff always available and very helpful
Cons: Indoor pool was closed for about half my stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Didn’t eat there-just coffee- drinkable but not great- drink it black- lovely staff all around- only critism is lighting very poor in rooms- for us old folks hard to read see what we were doing- unless you were standing in bathroom- dark walls and low lighting- Im a a nurse-always worried about people falling-accident waiting to happen. But very quiet-felt very safe and would definitely come again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Recent updates are noticeable. The king size bed was super comfortable and firm. Pillows were wonderful and the ability to make the room temperature cooler during winter months was a bonus.
Cons: The in house restaurant could offer fish and chips. It was disappointing to sit down on Cape Cod and not be able to order something that is readily accessible on the Cape.
