Ostend Hotels near Ostend Beach

Pros: The buffet breakfast was absolutely great with the large variety of food and drink items. Similarly, the recreational facilities, including swimming pool, jacuzzi and the sauna were fantastic. I certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Ostend.

Cons: No hotel restaurant - Providing a restaurant service for lunch and dinner on site would make the stay even better for families with children.

Pros: Great location, very good breakfast, reception staffs are really helpful,

Cons: Little bit noisy of moving furniture,I think that’s cleaning service

Pros: The room was immaculate. Staff on reception were really helpful. The location was amazing and there was a great choice for breakfast. Parking was safe and easy.

Cons: There could maybe have been some entertainment in the evenings to keep people in the hotel. Only one piano evening 6 until 8 I think. We went out every night anyway but maybe would've stayed in the bar had there been something to stay for.

Pros: This is a good hotel in a great position on the beachfront and also near the town and shops. The rooms are big and well appointed , it has a good pool and spa on the upper floor. Its right next to the casino. We would stay again.

Cons: It has underground parking but drive slowly its tight. But very convenient.

Cons: If you don’t have a room towards the sea it’s a bit depressing view. The staff was very kind and helped me to move to another room after the first night even though the hotel was very busy.

Pros: The sea-view was amazing, and we even got to enjoy some fireworks! The hotels location is amazing. The room was clean and the staff was really friendly during our stay, luckily not as stiff as in most 4-star hotels. The pool was fun, sadly the jacuzzi was OOO. The breakfast was amazing and huge! The selection was enormous, only thing that I was missing was maybe some sunny-side up egg. But overal the breakfast was 10/10.

Cons: When we entered the room there was a smudge on the couch in the room, but that didn't bother me that much, I know how hard housekeeping work is. Overal the rooms where tight and clean.

Cons: Sun umbrella on the balcony would have been a good idea.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, the bed was comfortable. Parking available.

Cons: Quality / Price rapport, clearly insufficient. The room (312) is too small for the price, I did not unpack my suitcase, I never saw a wardrobe that tiny for 2 adults. The cap of the offered bottle of water was open. Our room was located right next to the 'room cleaners' technical room where all the cleaning material was stored. Every morning we got the disturbing noises of the cleaners pulling their material out of that room and all the material, dirty laundry etc..stayed in the corridor for most of the day. Also repeated knocking on doors asking to clean the room although the 'do not disturb' light is on. Small mirror in bathroom needed fixing.

Pros: Location is good, breakfast nice with nice selection of fresh breads, homemade jams and fresh fruits. Room 12 is possibly smallest room we have ever been allocated for a hotel! The room was clean with a decent size shower and clean towels, but this was the only positive I can give on the room I’m afraid!

Cons: Room (12) this room is very small and very hot with no air con! Looks out into harbour but it is extremely noisy and having been allocated probably the smallest and hottest room in the hotel we had to sleep with the windows open hence every noise could be heard including the extremely noisy alarm system going off every time the bridge is raised at the harbour!!! We were given a fan to help with the heat however this did not help much and it was also very noisy!! On our last morning we woke up to a really bad sewerage smell in the room, obviously they were having a problem with their waste system! This was not pleasant in an extremely hot room!! Also our room is allocated across from the laundry which would not have helped with the heat in the room! When checking out we asked do they have air con in any of their rooms and we have yet to hear yes or no! The gentleman at reception told us they have newer rooms and extending the hotel but he did not give us the answer to our question which believe should have been No!! Staff were pleasant, however not over friendly. The waiter at breakfast on first day was very nice however the waiter the next two days was not so friendly and at some occasions looked like he didn’t want us there... it would have been nice if he could have wished us ‘Good Morning’ and ‘have a nice day’ but we have yet to hear either!!! Overall it was an ok hotel but would not be one of my recommendations I’m afraid!

Cons: 2 star hotel was absolutely corespendonding with the offered, but a price from over 400 Euros was overpriced for this Hotel. Even if it was one of the last available rooms.

Pros: This is my second time staying, because of the young owner Kai's great hospitality. A sweet family runs this cosy hotel.

Cons: For their reference for the future, here I sincerely suggest these. The sound of the door of other room opens and closes and voices of other guests in corridor is clearly heard which interrupts sleep in the morning. The mattress of the bed needs more comfortability.

Cons: Very rude receptionist upon arrival. She literally shouted at me after I pointed out that replying 'it's up to you to find parking, Ours is full' was kind of rude. Literally a first in intensity of rudeness and unwillingness to apologize. No minibar, one has to pay to borrow hotel robes and slippers to go to the swimming pool/sauna, minimal toiletry items. Hotel probably has got stars because it has a swimming pool, but everything else is like a mediocre 3 star.

Cons: We had an old room. Advantage - we had actually two bedrooms for the price of one. Disadvantage - the bathrooms were not very practical and not in a good shape.

Pros: The bed was comfortable even if the springing is uneven from side to side. Breakfast is good and the breakfast room is delightful.

Cons: The towels are very thin and in one case almost threadbare. The bathroom is good and it would be good to be able to fix the shower head to the wall but this would require a shower curtain. The location is very noisy , having the window open to avoid a hot stuffy room meant that the hooligan noise from the two local pubs was very loud until about 1am although earplugs are supplied in the toilet kit. The desk lamp and one of the ceiling bulbs weren't working which was reported to reception but no action taken.
