Pros: The room and the bathroom were really spacious and clean, the balcony had a view of the see and Ortigia. The hosts were welcoming and ready to answer all the questions as well as give tips for Ortigia (they recommended and booked us a table at a nice restaurant). It was the best B&B on our road trip. The B&B located a few minutes away by car ride from Ortigia which for us was great as we had a car and we were happy that we did not stay in the city centre as the car there would be problematic.
Cons: Nothing at all, everything was excellent.
Pros: Nice b&b. Has clean rooms and good breakfast with home grown fruit. Staff is very friendly
Pros: The hosts were very smiley and ready to assist, but English is less spoken and understood. The room was very spacious and had a big balcony.
Cons: The place is actually quite far from Syracuse and it's more suitable for a stay when families go to the seaside for fun in the sun. At certain hours traffic can be tiresome, but the host advised us priory. Breakfast had too many sweets. Maybe some vegetables could be added. As in most places in Sicily, the hosts showed a certain easiness in approaching and discussing with Italian guests.
Pros: Nice, modern and comfortable house. Very nice view over Siracusa, situated on the other side of a large golf. Excellent (European and not Italian!) buffet-breakfast. Nice yard, friendly hosts.
Pros: Everything looks brand new Friendly staff Easy to find Nice, comfortable accommodations You need a car. Not close to stores or restaurants
Cons: Everything fine No problems
Pros: The hosts were marvelous
Pros: Clean and spacious with good kitchen facilities
Cons: Avoid room1, it's adjacent to the kitchen and can be noisy at night.Shower cubicle is a bit small
Set in a renovated farmhouse, Agriturismo Sant' Elia offers country-style rooms with air conditioning and it is 10 km from Siracusa. Pool and garden-view rooms at the Sant' Elia all feature a patio or terrace. There is TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries and a hairdryer. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Freshly-baked cakes and typical Sicilian products are provided as part of the buffet breakfast served daily. Guests can also use the BBQ facilities in the garden. The property offers free private parking, and the popular white beaches of Fontane Bianche are 15 minutes' drive away. The Baroque town of Noto can be reached by car in 25 minutes.
Pros: Christina cares a lot about her guests and gives you advice and helps you out if you forgot something at home. The pool is very nice. But the also are great beaches around the farm.
Pros: Our family enjoyed whole stay, unfortunately only 2 nights... Quiet location, lovely pool, spacious apartmens. And .. Christine and her mother are the best.very helpful persons, friendly, always prepare to solve any problems. Hope to see and visit this place again!!
Pros: Everything was perfect
Pros: For us, Agriturismo Sant' Elia provided the perfect blend of service and small-scale coziness. We especially loved all the great advice from our host Christina. She really made sure we got the most out of our holiday.
Pros: Christina our host was lovely and very welcoming. We stayed 5 nights and opted to change our room to the 'apartment' as it was on the front by the lawn. We went with our 14 month old son, so needed more space and it was nicer for him to play outside the apartment rather than the room at the back of the property. Property is clean, lots of space, you don't have the feeling of being on top of other guests, basic but good kitchen equipment. Pool was great, it was nice and quiet, breakfast was good (although the coffee was unfortunately terrible...). Airconditioning was very welcome. Check-in and check-out was very smooth. Great for families. I would definitely stay there again
Cons: Missing in the apartment is a comfortable sofa or arm chair - a lot of space without much furniture. A shelf in the shower would be useful to put shampoo etc on, and also re-stocking toilet paper would be good. Also, since there are so many mosquitoes it would be good if there was a lemon candle provided
Pros: A nice breakfast offered with a very friendly service. Fantastic clean pool, authentic housing/buildings and certainly a most friendly host.
Cons: The immediate surroundings and views are not spectacular but the premises are quite authentic, next to having fantastic beaches within reach of a 20-30 minutes drive
Pros: Really lovely owner and beautiful grounds with gorgeous pool. Christina could not have been more helpful - telling us the best places to eat and best beaches. Very close to Siracusa - with the advantage of being able to get out and have some peace and quiet. I would not hesitate to go back again :-)
Cons: Very, very minor point as I so enjoyed my stay, but I like two pillows!
Pros: Great place, helpful crew
Pros: We loved it all. Natural, and peaceful, amazing pool. The accommodation was great. Christina was the friendliest host and gave lots of useful information about the area and recommended several great restaurants. After our five night stay it was actually sad to leave.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like but one suggestion would be to provide a kettle in the room so we could make our own hot drinks during the day.

Pros: Everything! Sebastiano maintains this incredible property so beautifully. Lovely bedroom, bathroom, pool, outdoor space. Peaceful. Everyone can find their own space in which to relax. Great breakfast to set you up for the day. Restaurants close by - walk or drive. Easy drive into Siracusa to easy to find recommended parking. Nothing was a problem. Will be sending friends and hope to return.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Pros: Amazing B&B. Only 15 minutes drive from Syracuse and you arrive in a peaceful renovated large farm house with a garden of ancient trees of fruit and flowers. The room we took was large comfortable, clean and with view to the garden and sea. Breakfast was plentiful, all rolls and croissants were nice and warm, coffee was prepared by the one and only - Sebastia
Pros: Quiet and lovely atmosphere, nice competent manager, nice flowers, big parking area
Pros: We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it! Spacious and clean rooms with a beautiful property. Sebastiano was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was great too. Can recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation in the Siracusa area with a car.
Pros: Overall a very pleasant stay. Location was good to visit around Syracruse. kitchenette had very new equipment. Overall was everything quite new. Bed was nice and comfortable and the room is big. We stayed for 5 nights so good to have some space. Breakfast was also very nice.
Cons: It would have been nice to have clean towels and something to wipe the dishes after cleaning them. But if really needed we could have just asked the towels to be replaced. The shower is a bit small, but still ok.
Pros: Location was fair enough. It is close to beaches and ortigia but overall isnt woth to stay.
Cons: The room wasnt clean, there are too many bugs within the room. The room and the garden arent maintained well even though the main building is. The pool is small and isnt worth to swim. Breakfast was week only composed of biscuits sone breads butter etc. The only good part is they provide coffee.
Pros: Lovely room, peaceful, good view, pool and breakfast. Staff were nice and helpful. Really is a car needed location, not within walking distance of restaurants or anything so be prepared.
Pros: We loved this beautiful restored villa, set in gorgeous gardens, in the countryside and on a hill looking down to the mediterranean. We chose what we think is the only sea view room, which was bright, airy and spacious with aircon, modern furnishings and a large balcony looking down to the bay and out over the villa gardens and peaceful countryside. The breakfast terrace was a perfect place for a gentle start to each day - as was the generous breakfast ( not cooked food I don’t think but an amazing choice of fresh fruits, cereals, yoghurts, breads cakes and pastries, local cheeses and salamis etc). The pool and poolside terrace area were beautiful, peaceful and relaxing as well. We and one other family were the only guests over the 2 nights we stayed there so we practically had this idyllic place to ourselves. Sebastiano and his sister were very kind hosts and looked after us.
Cons: This was slightly further out of Siracusa and Ortigia than we had realised- but was an easy 10-15 minute drive there. Also the nearest bars and restaurants to this villa are a 10-15 minute walk along quiet but unlit country roads so we drove to these (3-5 minute drive,) - and the fish restaurant we ate at (La Onda Blu) was really, really good, and on the waterfront on the bay, with amazing views over to Siracusa and Ortigia, particularly at night. As far as we could work out there was no public transport option to and from Villa Isola so you would almost certainly need a car to stay here. We liked the peace and tranquility and feeling off the tourist track here, but some people may find it a bit isolated.
Located in Syracuse, Casale Milocca is within a 15-minute drive of Temple of Apollo and Museo Archeologico Regionale Paolo Orsi. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Wonderful hotel constrained on the place of the old farm, excellent huge pool area, 5 min walk to small harbor. Hotel has it’s own garden that provides tomatoes for breakfast .
Pros: Lovely pool area, friendly staff, easy to get to Siracusa and surrounding areas (with a car), good showers! Nice outdoor terrace although after the first night we couldn’t use it due to the number of mosquitos around. Beautiful grounds
Cons: Restaurant could have been better. Some good homemade dishes but lack of choice on the menu and lunch (pasta) was cold by the time we were told it was waiting for us. Breakfast had good choice of sweet items but limited healthy options and eggs seemed to be served cold. Everything was self serve including plates, dishes and cutlery which was a pain.
Pros: Wonderful resort at 20 min car-time from Siracusa, one of the most outstandind cities worldwide with regards to history, art and natural environment. The Casale is a piece of quiet, clean, super-confortable country house with ample gardens, awesome swimmingpool and chick, scatce rooms, for those who want to relax and enjoy nature after an exciting drive to the beach, the sidetown of Ortigia, or any of the amazing touristic places in South-East Sicilly.
Cons: I liked everyrhing, really. Maybe on first impression it looks a bit long stretch from Siracusa, but you really don't mind when you've settled to moving around with the car. And the wide, well cared gardens and pool make up easily for the nuisance.
Pros: It’s an authentic stay. The hotel was an old farm for oil and wine. The hotel is definetely modern but retaining some local and old elements. On top of this, you can feel the touch of good taste in all the small details.
Pros: Great size pool
Cons: Food, internet connection in our room
Pros: The breakfast was very good. The pool was lovely although we had no time to use it. The grounds were great for walking around with the dog. The dinner in the restaurant was very good but they made a mistake with one of the orders. The secure parking was very good and easy to access.
Cons: The bar service was a little slow. The GPS took us a strange way around and the location seemed to be in the middle of nowhere.

Pros: Stefano is a great host - communication with him was quick and easy, he gave us some good advices of the area, restaurants etc.
Cons: Way too expensive for a small room and a poor bed

Pros: The property was lovely decorated and secure entrance gave us peace of mind that our belongings are safe. Pool was great we had full use of the pool. The outside seating area was brilliant, every night we sat outside. The villa isn't far from the beach we used the bikes to get there and it was a short drive to Syracuse. You definitely need a hire car to get about as there are no shops or restaurants near by. We were a group of 4 and villa housed us very comfortable, we had a bathroom each. When arriving there is food in the cupboards for a small simple meal which is great. Marco is very welcoming and answered any questions. He provided us with fishing gear as we wanted to try fishing . We had a very pleasant stay. Very quiet location would highly recommend
Cons: Location was a bit far out you had to drive, but it didn't stop us getting about in our hire car. No bars near by
