Good location near entrance to Pompei ruins room was a little tired. beds were hard
great staff, excellent map, fantastic location for exploring the entire bay of naples as well as pompeii, clean hotel and rooms, the free internet, web cam and memory card reader was an excellent feature. Breakfast wasn't brilliant especially for a supposed four star. Have stayed in better three stars in the past, but it met our needs.
Close to Pompei ruins and still a quality hotel. Price was very reasonable. Parking was a bit of a hassle but it was free, so no real complaints.
convenience to Pompeii ruins, friendliness of staff
Very comfortable hotel. Location is excellent in front of Pompeii. Quiet gardens. We had superior rooms which are very comfortable with excellent bed and bathroom. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was perfect. Nothing !
The hotel was clean and pleasant with beautiful grounds, the staff were very helpful. The breakfast variety was limited, but it was fresh and filling. The location was excellent. The sound proofing of the rooms could be better.
Location was great and it had an "oasis" feel. Very nice nibbles available in the evening. Room was quite warm for the season and it was difficult to cool it off.
The breakfast was precisely what was needed - simple but filling. And the location is excellent. It was slightly tricky to find the hotel from the circumvesuvio train, but there's not a lot they can do about that!
Welcoming, clean , stylish The shower
Very charming hotel with a warm and friendly staff.
Hotel was modern, clean and comfortable
Pretty much everything. Very little to say here.
The building is modern, clean and comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. The staff is very attentive and efficient. The continental breakfast is excellent. We were even offered the services of a shuttle bus to reach the ruins and again in the evening to go out for dinner. The wireless Internet, though free, does not work in all the rooms. There is, however, excellent reception in the comfortable sitting area near the reception desk and in the garden.
We booked the hotel since it was close to the Pompei ruins. The hotel was clean comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Their restaurant had excellent very fresh seafood. So it met our objective. Although I liked the hotel it is in a very run down city. I would only recommend it for those that want to be close to the Pompei ruins.
Close to Railway Station in Napoli The Bathroom smelt bad.
While the location was poor, the proximity to the train station was great The location and the trash in the streets. Not really the hotel's fault however.
hotel is fab really stylish, rooms are very spacious and plenty of nice extras and would recommend the corner room, great breakfast lots of variety and even had champers on offer!!!!!and lovely roof terrace. funny smell in bathroom and dinner was a bit disappointing.
The front desk was great, big thanks to Jiovani who assisted often with getting around and travelling advise. The bus and train stations are very close. The heating is not great especially in the bathroom. The shower is very small. The hand/small towels are terrible. The location is not great, lots of street people and a feeling of unsafety.
silent, clean poor breakfast, dark room
the size of room..and the "trendy' decor There was one front desk staff, that was "trying to be funny" but was rather rude. He assume many things, not very proffessional. Thankfully I have a good sense of humour, otherwise I would have been more put off than I was.
Every single facility was clean and fine. No problem with using hotel. Nothing special, but wifi is too pricey.
the design the prices for drinks at the bar up theterrece are far too high!!!
The room was very nice and the hotel was close to the station. The information we were given by the staff about an excursion to Pompay
Open garden at roof level We could not get served a dinner one night, told it would be 10minutes, 45 minutes later no menu given or water or an up date, waiters very scarcastic as we left, laughed at us and said Bye bye. Noise from street terrible, horns beeping all nite, extremely dirty outside hotel, staff on reception unhelpful, perhaps very little english, didn't understand us. Very poor selection of english speaking TV programmes. Internet access, no printer, very slow.
Excellent location...Walking distance to the seaside, right in the middle of the shopping district. Plenty of restaurants near by.
good neighborhood, close to good shoping district, nice rooms, but a little bit smal not so rich breakfast choise, no bar or caffe in the hotel
Helpfulness by the stay. The bar tender during he evening of our stay was very curtious and informative. prices for drinks at the bar much to high
The room was immaculate and well kept. Beds were firm. Would definitly stay here again.
Very well located
I like very much the hotel , all was perfect :)
perfect location very comfortable hotel!
The localization of the hotel is great, in the Chiaia region, the best neighboorhod in town. The hotel is very near to the best shops in Naples, such as Gucci, Armani and Louis Vuitton and another great shops, so you can reach the best of the city in a short walk. The hotel is also near to some good bars and restaurants (like the great pizzeria Matozzi) and to some streets that are closed to cars and are great to walk around, so within a walking distance, you have the best of Naples. It is also just three blocks form the subway station that leads to the central station. The hotel is very good, the room is very modern, new and clean, with a large ans clean bathroom with amenities. The only bad point is that they don´t have a safe box in the room, but they have in the reception. The staff is great, always ready to help you, the breakfast is very good and the hotel restaurant serves pretty good foods for lunch and dinner. I would recomend this hotel for everyone, me and my family really liked it. Just to put a safe box in the room
Excellent service all round . Excellent Room. Spotlessly clean. Excellent location. Though the restaurant not busy at night the food was absolutely delicious. Very nice staff. safe area of Naples. Walking distance to the main shopping area and Piazza Plebiscite. Not far from bay. Rooms lovely. One fothe best hotels I 've ever stayed in.
A good hotel near to the more expensive shopping area , the staff are excellent in the way they communicate and help guests. I have now stayed a few times in the hotel and find its location safe (especially for Napoli and nice to walk around, there are interesting bars, trattorias and restaurants nearby. Not this hotel in particular, but in general the price of in hotel breakfasts, and I do know real Italians and what they eat for breakfast I am not commenting on the lack of a big American fry up. Only looking for a cornetto and cafe latte variation for a sensible price.
I love the location and room. However, the breakfast was the only poor parts. Their coffee is a shame of Italy. If the tourist comes to Italy at the first time and drank that coffee, they will all think that Italian coffee is horrible,,but the truth is one of the best. They should really change that coffee and stop serving conserved fruits, Naples has wonderful fresh fruits!!!
Beautiful view of the castle, the sea and the mountains.
The view was fantastic and the room was ok. Pool area was fabulous We were charged for items from the minibar which we never had. Were woken at 12 midnight on the first night of our honeymoon and told we had to change room. Told it was our honeymoon but got no welcome basket for it.
The hotel staff were great and the room was terrific. There was a great balcony and the view was incredible. The shower was awful. There was only a partial "door", and water got everywhere when you took a shower. We had to cover the floor in every towel we had in preparation for the swamp that followed. The pool also required swim caps which was weird and a big bummer because who wants to wear a swim cap?
Sorry, not much. Breakfast overlooking the sea but inside away from the traffic is the best I can come up with. Hard lumpy bed. Pool closed on arrival. Refusal to provide iron/ironing board to tidy my dress before going out, curt to point of rude reception staff but most important no one smiled - not even once.
View is spectacular and the walk along the beach is great. Breakfast is good. Carpets and walls looking a little tired, but certainly everything is clean!
The hotel provided an excellent buffet breakfast which was included in the price. The view of the Bay of Naples was magnificent, particularly from the dining room. I also had dinner there and the service was excellent and friendly.
Staff were lovely. We had a problem with our room when we checked in initially and we were moved without any hesitation. Also, when we were leaving we asked for a recommendation for a hotel in sorrento and Monica, a fabulous lady helped us to secure a hotel for 8 days. This was completely above and beyond and we very much appreciated it. She had also recommended a beautiful place for dinner near the hotel. Good helpful staff working in a hotel in a new city for visitors are worth their weight in gold, this lady in particular was exceptional! No complaints about the hotel and the location was good. Naples is abit nuts though, 2 days is plenty!
The balcony and the seaview The room The central location.
The room was cleaned every day and the sheets changed daily. The decor was lovely but there was a lot of unfinished work in this area. For example a fixing had been put on the wall and the plaster had broken away and no one prepaired the damage.
The public areas were clean and atractive and the staff were pleasant. The bed was comfortable and the linen and towels were crisp and clean I requested a room near to a friend who was on floor no.25 but when I received my key I was on floor 17 when I pointed out my request I was confronted by a kirt "it is not possible". I aslo requested a non smoking room but was put on a smoking floor. They advertise a safe in every room I never found one in mine. The enamel on the bath was badly damaged. The razor socket in the bathroom was broken so much so that water could enter the mechanism. There was a smell in the bahroom. The air conditioning didn't appear to be working. It would appear that at sometime the room had been broken into because the inside door frame was damaged. The day before we were due to leave, our room was stripped as if we were vacating it that day, this was promptly resolved by a receptionist.Every time we wanted service from the bar we had to find the barman who appeared to double up in the dining room. You may wonder why I didn't complain but I was there to support a friend who had been mugged and badly beaten and was in hospital I therefore had more important things on my mind and spent very little time in the room. I may have to return but will consider a different hotel. The room was 1727
The location In napoli is very good. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff. On the edge of being rude. We stayed 3 days and everyday, 1 lift was out of order. Considering this hotel receives a lot of tourist bus, imagine when you are trying to take a lift. For the same reasons of tourist bus, It was difficult to take breakfast, no table available or no food available. We had 3 rooms and in each room, the safety box was "out of order". The reception sent somebody to fix it but could not find the problem. The free internet service in the lobby was also "out of order". The lift to the garage was "out of order". Finally, except for the location, we cannot recommend this hotel.
trough the window we can see all naples very beautiful panorama... stains on the wall in the room, broken bathroom glass, rusted bathroom tubes.
the location was grade because there are restaurants and bus station near by. The view from the high floors is breathtaken !!!!!!! the breakfast eas poor for 4 stars hotel . and the difficulty of aproaching the parking which doesnot belong to the hotel!!!
Breakfast was great. Room was nice. All italian channels (no variety) + impossible to order movies
Efficient and well organized, clean rooms. I would expect in a hotel to have a map of the city to be offered to the clients. Also, more care to have english in every leaflet and post.
Friendliness of Hotel Staff Amenities need updated Air Conditioning did not function very well if at all, room was very uncomfortable temperature wise.
The selection for breakfast was extremely poor. For a buffet breakfast I would expect a greater choice. I certainly in the past have found a better selection at lower rated hotels.
Hotel location, restaurant staff Front desk was very impatient, the rooms from 21st floor and above are refurbished, so make sure you ask for these rooms because the rest of the rooms are really worn out and are not pleasant to stay in, breakfast was very basic and included very few vegetables
We wanted a view of the bay so got a room upgrade without having to pay extra. The famous AC Milan football team also stayed while we were here and Liverpool stayed the week before! The service in the restaurant was very poor. We waited over 30 mins for our drinks and over an hour for our meal which was ok but not worth the wait. The prices for the food and drinks in the bar and restaurant were ridiculously expensive. This also applies to the mini bar in the rooms.
best position in Napoli, very nice hotel and staff, especially the girl from reception who is very nice and beautifull
The staff was helpful and nice They need to update the hotel a bit it's very dated it's like stepping into 1945. They need to make the hotel like Thr terrace they have on the very top there is a restaurant there and it's the only area of the hotel that I would consider a 5. Star.they should use the style of that restaurant for the entire hotel.
Old. Needs a complete renovation of interior. Wi fi also needs to be updated and strenghthened. Location and rooftop restaurant are only selling points right now.
Good position good views good breakfast. But its opulence is fading fast and the spa/pool etc was closed as it was Sunday - this is not stated in the web site so the value was poor as we had expectations that did not come to fruition. No use of pool. Old fashioned.
Reception by personel was terible:poor english, unfriendly (few persons starting by manager of reception) Very expensive for price paid. For breakfast large choice but personel disputing between them, not profesional behaviour. It is the first time when I see something like this. Our 10 days holidays in Italy (Florence, Genoa, Tuscany, Milano) were fantastic but not in this hotel. Sorry because behind are people & familly, but something has to change.
The staff were extremely helpful. I had no problem with the language and they could all speak English. All staff were eager to please and offered excellent advice on where to eat and where to go to experience Napoli. The services offered were exceptional and I was treated as a special guest. I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Napoli.
They implied that breakfast was included then we got whacked for 27 a head on breakfast. Most expensive muffin I ever ate
The location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants Seemed like one day this was a grand hotel. Today it's old and dusty. The room size was great but the sheets were rough and the hallways looked like they needed to be vacuumed.
the staff and the comfort cooperation with staff, because of their poor english..
Old world charm and great location. Staff was very helpful. Rooms were a bit dated.
Excellent staff, fantastic room, bueautiful view, good breakfast, good decor. No
The location is great. The music of a wedding in the hotel was loud until late hours in the night. this is not acceptable in a hotel like this.
Close to dining and shopping. Close to the port to catch the ferry to Capri and the other islands. Its the best hang out spot in naples. Staff was friendly.
Amazing views, great location Limited catering, no evening meal and even basics like snacks in the evening were not available
Excellent hotel in perfect position with professional staff . Has everything anyone could wish for was an ideal base for three wonderful days in Napoli no
Luxury hotel, well situated. Great breakfast on the tarrace - excellent personel (Mr Mario). Good room service.Tasty meals. Perfect barman Not fully satisfied with Concierge and reception personel - they seemed to have something more important to do than paying you enough attention. Parking - you have to go on foot to pay and to collect the car
Ask for Allesandro as a tour guide
Extremely nice, helpful, and friendly staff. Staff positive attitude to hotel guests is really exceptional there. Very clean and very nice atmosphere. I strongly recommend Diana hotel for visiting not only Pompei and Vezuvius, but also Napoli. When you will visit Pompei you will be able to compare clean, attractive, and friendly Pompei and Diana hotel with situation in Napoli. Napoli is very interesting for visit but I strongly recommend not to stay there but in Diana hotel im Pompei. Napoly is just 25-30 minutes from Napoli cetral station by train.
We booked only one night and stayed for 3 nights :-) very nice hotel staff, perfect location in Pompei town centre, very clean, safe parking, internet ...
I thought the Reception Staff were very friendly & helpful, they did all they could to make our stay enjoyable.
Friendly service; garden Room a little noisy
The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. They had no hesitation in preparing a full days schedule for a tour of the Amalfi Coast.
The very kind and warm personell, the beautiful garden. We felt at home immediately. Just like we were part of the family. sometimes noisy in the night ( cleaning the streets, traffic ) but we did not find this very bad, especially because the things I mentioned above
Great proximity to Pompei train station and a 10 minute walk to main entrance of ruins.
Excellent location, convenient to historical site. Very small room.
After a long trip down to Pompeii, we were welcomed into the oasis of the Hotel Diana, by great staff and wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend.
The helpfulness of the staff, the beautiful courtyard gardens, secure car parking, in all a really good experience. I very rarely rate anything as excellent but this hotel is really close to being so. There was less sound insulation from adjacent rooms than I would have like, although the occupants were not particularly noisey.
good breakfast, good parking, delicious restaurant across the street 1) centre-hotel waling distance a bit large, and through a dessertic zone, which may not be pleasant at night; 2) not 4 stars worth it based on the room quality, but rather a 3 or 3+
kindness and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms , the location near the center and not noisy, the new structure, modern and welcoming, the restaurant where we ate excellent grilled fish. also gave us free parking for the pompeii ruins. We also return because the hotel is located near the motorway and we were able to arrive to Naples and Sorrento without going crazy to find your way. Very good.
The hotel is close to the city centre and the historic remains of Pompei are within walking distance. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
The personnel was very kind and helpful. The internet connection in the room was free and worked very well all the time. The breakfast was ok. The hotel was peaceful with a little garden. About 1 km to the Pompei scaves. The receptionist took us to the railway station when we left the hotel without asking it, very kind! (And I forgot tip...) Cheese and ham were in warm plate during the breakfast time and seemed nothing but fresh.
Friendly Staff Bit out of the way, good job we had the car
very good hotel, situated in a strategic position to visit the city and the other tourist resorts; they gave us free parking for the Pompeii Ruins. Excellent services, confortable rooms and very friendly staff. we suggest it.
It was the best hotle we stayed in in Italy! The people who ran it were incredibly friendlsy and very very helpful and kind!!! The breakfast was elegant the room quiet and clean and comfortable..the people were the best part!!!!!!!
Staff very helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the ruins in Pompeii or the main shopping centre. No
They took good care of us. Someone was always there. They knew our name. Were very helpful in getting around town. It was close to the places we wanted to go. Pompeii was just a couple of blocks away. We took the train to Sorrento which was about a 15 minute walk. Our next stop was Mt. Vesuvuis which was a short trip. Very convenient location.
It was a nice family runned hotel, located very nearby Pompei excavations. You can park the park behind the hotel in a safe private parking lot. We also had a nice balkony. Breakfast is good. People very friendly. No
Friendly, helpfull staff. Clean, comfortable room. Good views from balcony. Secure accomadation with gated parking.
friendliness of staff and locality not much for breakfast
Nice hotel, 5 minute walk to Pompeii. Free parking, nice staff and breakfast
Friendly staff let us into room at 11am to leave baggage and organised taxi for departure. Very noisy plumbing!
The hotel was in a convenient location, very close to Old Pompei. The staff were friendly and tried their best to help you find your way around town. The rooms are basic, but clean and satisfactory. The rooms aren't very soundproofed. I could hear, very clearly, conversations, televisions, dogs, and motorcycles throughout the night. The hotel is good for one or two nights, but not for long term stays.
I loved he staff, very family oriented, good location, nice balcony facing the mountains, great bread at breakfast
I liked pretty much everything about it. It was clean, comfortable and affordable. We could have stayed at a more expensive place, but we figured we would use the room to sleep and get cleaned up. The rest of the time would be spent sightseeing. The breakfast was a typical small Italian breakfast. Just coffee and a croissant. The ones are very nice and although there was a bit of a language barrier, we had no trouble communicating. I highly recommend this place for someone looking for a clean comfortable place without all of the amenities of a big hotel. We arrived about 3.5 hours before the check in time and figured we would just leave our bags and go sightseeing. The place is accessible through a locked gate with an intercom. Unfortunately, no one was there and we had to sit at the corner cafe for a few hours. As I stood outside the gate trying to call them, I could hear their phone ringing inside. So, I knew they were not there. Eventually someone answered and let us in.
Bed was super comfy, the rooms were very clean, shower was hot and had good water pressure, the included breakfast was amazing! Only thing not so good about this hotel is the location. Right next to the central train station, which is convenient, however the area is sketchy. Lots of pickpockets
very good ground floor staff... ie reception and concierge lot of construction work outside hotel
(1) Excellent location. 2 mins' walk from the station!! , (2) Cleanses of hotel lobby and (3) neat breakfast hall. Receptionist service could be better.
We dropped some cash in the lift and a staff picked it up and sent it back to us even before we realised it. His honesty should be commended! Housekeepers woke us up every morning at around 9:30am. Perhaps they could do the rooms at around 11 am without waking up the guests.
The service of the staff was great. The food and room facilities were all of a very good quality. Nicely decorated hotel. The hotel is on Piazza Garibaldi, next to the train station and a bit noisy. This area of Naples is very dirty and to say the least tends to detract from the hotel which was the best out of the 10 hotels in Italy we have stayed in so far.
Excellent location, clean room and good breakfast. Extremely small room with very soft/worn mattress, safe deposit box in room does not work and extremely small shower stall (can't even bend down).
Overall the hotel and room were very nice. Breakfast was included and it was delicious. Also, the restaurant was very nice for lunch and dinner. I was here to present at a conference and the conference rooms of the hotel were nice and they provided folders, papers, pens, and water for participants. The hotel was right next to the central metro station which was very convenient to get on the metro and do some sightseeing. However, I don't think this hotel is in a "tourist area" and it is more where the locals go to catch the bus and the metro. The hotel is in a sketchy area and the room I had was noisy. I would not go out after dark. I was sexually harassed on the street one night while I was trying to get dinner. During the day was okay though. The room was also cold at night and no matter what setting I put the thermostat at the temperature never changed. The tv and treadmill in the fitness center did not work. Also, the business center was not available due to renovations. In addition, I asked the front desk staff what/where there was to sightsee and I was just given a city map with no indication of where things were located. The woman just circled a broad area of the map and told me to go there. That was not helpful at all.
Internet access was an important feature of my choice of hotel, and this was inoperative for my stay, which as it was a business trip caused great inconvenience. On a more general point, I feel it ridiculous that wi-fi access should be charged for in addition to standard room rates, it is now such a general requirement, an essential.
The best part is the location - right across from the train station. You can walk with your luggage directly to the hotel. The rooms were well appointed, spacious bathrooms, separate room for luggage - which was a plus.
Small balcony overlooking city. Decent bathroom Service was abrupt almost to rudeness. Breakfast was poor - cold coffee and stale pastries. Ripped off by the taxi that the hotel called for us.
fitness room, parking poor breakfast, location
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Emanuela, who helped us with train schedules and various attractions. The hotel is convenient to Pompeii ruins and to restaurants in the town.
The location was amazing, staff were informative, friendly and helpful, sun terrace and hottub were a definate plus. Visited all the major sights easily and cheaply, plenty of good places to eat and drink.
Thank you Guisseppinfor the warm welcome and accommodating us with parking
Convenience of the location (very close to the Pompei ruins) and friendliness of the hotel staff
Excellent Location for Pompeii and station to Herculaneum. Good bus service to Vesuvius. Food in hotel ok. Water leak in room which was not repaired despite reporting it every day during stay. Hairdryer didn't work. Beds small. Breakfast not ready on day of departure even though we arrived after 7.30am.
Friendly and helpful staff The mattress was a bit too hard!
The staff were really helpful and friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was great too. The station was right next to the hotel so it was really easy to get around (Not noisy at night time) We were also give a gift from the hotel when we left ! N/A
Location, staff and room Turning the a/c off when we the only people left in the restaurant
Staff and close proximity to rail transport Hotel maintenance not up to standard
The staff were very helpful Beds were quite uncomfortable
Nice hotel & friendly staff. Pictures on their website make it look more luxurious than it is, however it was great. Quite noisy for a hotel that was in the bottom end of town. Opposite the Pompeii Santuary station - make sure you get the right one - there are 3 Pompeii stations & we ended up with a train trip to Sorento in error & then had to pay a taxi to get back from Pompeii Scavi. The only negative was that they advertise free wiifii on their website, but wanted to charge 6 euro to use it when we were there.Think that I would rather stay at the Pompeii Scavi end of the ruins if I were to go again. The only negative was that they advertise free wiifii on their website, but wanted to charge 6 euro to use it when we were there. very polite and helpfull staff. made an effort to help you fit in. breakfast was continental style with a wide choice of fresh rolls, cereals, cakes etc. allowed bags to be stored after checkout for 8 hours till needed to leave for flight giving a final day of hassel free sight seeing. nothing i would say i disliked. rooms were not massive, beds were big! but clean and well presented. there was a large balcony attatched that made up for smaller room.
Family run, very nicely decorated in typical Italian design, only 15 rooms so nice and quiet, very clean, helpful pleasant staff . We liked the pet dogs. Fair bit of traffic noise, continental breakfasts became boring, coffee disappointing!
The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast buffet was a little limited but perfectly adequate, free wi-fi connection was good. A minor problem was the location of the hotel. It was just a little too far out of town and required a 15 minute walk to reach. The main problem, however, was the early morning traffic noise. Because of the heat we slept with the bedroom window open and from about 5.00am there was considerable noise from heavy vehicles, which on occasion actually caused the building to shake even though it was about 30 metres from the road!
easy walk to downtown and ruins italian breakfasts were too sweet for us
the view, proximity to the sights and food etc. the animals. the staff. pillows. gnats, although that wasn't the hotel's fault!
The hotel is perfectly located for a visit to Pompei, 15 walk to the gates, and is equipped with airconditioning so that closing the widows and doors road noise is pretty much eliminated. Good restaurant just across the street. Very classy lobby and breakfast dining area. None
Comfortable and well appointed room. Good breakfast. Very well placed next the entrances of the ruins at Pompeii. Pleasant staff Nothing
freindly staff. Clean. Convenient. Wireless Internet free The weather in march was wet & unusually cold. Room heating was OK. The very large dining room was cold, & was only open for breakfast (good continental) So it was a 15 min walk in the wet to get a meal. Otherwise OK
near to Pompeii ruins. Carparking available . Rooma clean
Very close to old Pompeii (which is why we were there), just a short stroll to the entrance.
The staff tried hard to accommodate us. The main purpose of the hotel seems to be as a wedding venue and the noise on the Saturday and Sunday nights was intolerable. The grounds are very poor, small and nowhere for children to play. The pool was dirty and closed off. Although the staff were friendly, the restaurant had a very limited choice, and we only ate there once, the breakfasts were very basic. Not 5 stars!
The Hotel itself -Old fashioned Grand Hotel -very unique Too much decoration-in the middle of nowhere without roadsigns breakfast :cold eggs
As mr. Polese said: At our hotel we don't welcome only aristocrats, we treat everyone like a king, it's trough.
Wonderful dekor- beautiful surrondings. Thats it ! They are living on tours and big weddings. They are not used to have normal hotelguests.
We had enjoyed our stay in Grand Hotel La Sonrisa so much that at the end we just did not want to leave! Beautiful, comfortable hotel with big rooms and lovely pool area and garden. Very clean, very stylish and very friendly staff. The service was excellent.
Room was comfortable and clean Overall very tacky with no substance. Grandure at a distance,up close very disapointing. Poor staff service, Jacuzzi did not work, toilet not working but fixed hours after arriving, Pool not available due to wedding party. Not to be recommended as a hotel by an means.
Charming staff, comfortable accommodation, incredibly different from the norm, quite kitch in a good way. Over the top, but one of the most amazing hotels we have ever stayed in. Would definitely recommend it to others. Quite an experience. Live groups/music on both sides of the restaurant in the evening. It was difficult to hear ourselves talk, but not a big issue.
Very helpful and happy staff, and the many things to look at whilst there. All Good.
The rooms were incredible to look at, the grounds were great, and horses grazing were great. The pool was pretty. We found a great place to eat it was called Carmansitas, if you come out of the hotel and take a right it is 2 miles up the road on the left. Menu is in Italain however food was incredible. Almost every dish is 6 euros or less. The staff was not very friendly, except for Danny, he was great. The beds in the Luxury rooms were very hard and very uncomfortable. The refrigerator never stayed cold, and it was very hard to get a outside line.
The hotel is very modern and with all comfort. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was good. Its easy to reach and not far from Pompei. Its located at a main road with high traffic during the day. The location is completely charmless but okay for one or two nights.
The staff were really nice and helpful. They gave us tips about good value for money restaurants downtown and even phoned to the owner of a restaurant to fetch us with his car to dinner. A nice family feeling hotel. We would definetly stay there again! Big exta pöus was the parking our car in hotel´s indoo carage for free! --
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and would go out of their way to be helpful.
The hotel is freshly decorated, the rooms were nice and clean. Very friendly staff. Good location for visting Pompei (within walking distance). A huge bonus is the free on site parking and free WiFi. Situated on a busy road but it did not bother us as our room was to the side of the building.
Everything was excellent - location (close to the Pompei historical site), staff, tasteful stylish furnishings, subterranean parking, spotlessly clean rooms. Light but sufficient continental breakfast.
The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and went out of their way to help when we needed it. The atmosphere in the hotel (decor, relaxing theme) was very nice. We chose the hotel as it was very handy to the Pompeii ruins.
The very friendly staff. Vincenze and his family really looked after us and made us feel very welcome. I have traveled a lot with my work and whilst this was a trip to see Pompei with my wife the Visigi is surely one of the best 3 star hotels I've ever stayed in and a lot better than a lot of supposedly 4 star hotels I've experienced. The room was really lovely, the decor and ambience very modern and cool but without being remotely cold. And Vincenze's mother makes the best tomato sauce we've ever tasted.....to die for. Absolutely no complaints.
