Cons: Nothing !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host was there late to greet us when we had train problems, he made us relax and feel right at home, after a very stressful day. The room was spotless, very modern with a great veranda, and the nicest of any on our 5 week European trip. Breakfast was delicious, more than we could eat and he happily accommodated another couple who were vegan. The location is as close to the Pompeii Ruins entrance as is possible, in a neighborhood loaded with great restaurants, but the room is quiet. Our host also drove us to the train station, to continue our trip. I would give this place the highest recommendation, without any reservations.
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dino - the owner is a fantastic host. Nothing is too much and the hospitality he and his wife Raffaella made our stay very special. We will definitely go back and highly recommend this B&B that is 2min walk from the Pompei Ruins entrance.
Cons: That we only stayed for a short time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect position, beautiful rooms and garden, hosts were friendly and extremely helpful.

Pros: Our room was bright, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was new with a great shower. The owner, Alfonso, was very obliging and answered all communications immediately. We were only 10 mins walk from the ruins at Pompeii.
Cons: The view from the balcony is over a dilapidated park - but there is nothing that the owner can do about that...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean and inviting. Close to everything you need for a short stay in Pompei. Host was friendly and helpful and gave some great food recommendations for the area. Perfect pit stop to explore the Pompei ruins and Vesuvius
Cons: This was the final stop on our trip around the Amalfi Coast so we found the breakfast to be quite small and basic compared to the rest of our trip. It's a voucher for a nearby cafe for a coffee and a pastry... Might be adequate for some but not for us.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Roberto is super nice, always giving great pieces of advice and helping out for special requests. The B&B location is 15-20 min walking from Pompei ruins, just enough to be in the quiet and calm part of the town. Naples, Vesuvio and Herculanum are a quick drive away.
Cons: nothing bad to say, experience was only positive!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were very welcomed. Roberto treated as us as old friends and was very helpful. Guide us all the time for best places of interest and food. We definitely will go there for our next visit. Highly recommended
10.0 Excellent
Pros: WOW what can I possibly say but amazing! Value for money is out of this world good, I couldn’t have picked a better place to spend 3 nights in Pompei. You are greeted with fresh homemade lemonade and an ice cold sweet on arrival ( I was lucky enough to get it when I arrived home from an exhausting day exploring the ruins, it went down ever so nicely!) Great self-serve breakfast in a cosy dining room, you get pastries, bread, meat/cheeses, eggs, yoghurts, fruit and all the tea and coffee you can drink (even an extra delicious treat delivered to you- highlight was the apple strudel). If you’re lucky you even get an alcoholic treat delivered to your room before bed (ice cold shot of limoncello one night, and a smooth red wine on the other). Roberto gives you the best tips about pompei, and if you talk to him about the rest of your travels through Italy (or even Europe) he has plenty of insights to share- he is a well travelled man so ask any questions! Comfortable rooms with everything you could need. Aircon is great, bed is comfy, even had basic toiletries to use. I had to do some work for back home on my last day so the excellent wifi connection is a BIG PLUS! Everything is very secure, so you feel very safe. Quick walk to train station. One of the exits of Pompei ruins is literally 5 minute walk around the corner, so you can start at one end and walk all the way home without any confusion. it’s a great bed and breakfast, its very homely, comfortable, and a perfect base to come home too. Roberto is very sociable and helpful but also understands personal space, and has a good eye for judging whether to stay for a chat or leave you in peace. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.
Cons: It’s a bit of a walk to the pubs/ restaurants but will only take you 10-15 minutes, and if you’re feeling lazy (I was guilty on my last night) ) Mcdonalds is a 2 minute walk around the corner.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was actually nicer than what is seen on the photos. There is a beautifully decorated garden. Very cozy and homey experience with a good Italian breakfast. The host is super helpful and available for any questions or suggestions for the trip.
Cons: Only drawback is that it’s a bit difficult to find in the tiny streets particularly in the evening hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Roberto was very friendly and welcoming.
Cons: N/A
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The owner dropped us off at the Ruins and even drove us to the bus station.

As we were not able to stay for breakfast, she kindly prepared us the previous night a delicious breakfast to take away with us.
Cons: Everything was good. The only thing was that we were not totally happy with the app that she recommended for visiting the ruins as it was not covering all the points and it was quite basic. Focused on our stay, it was very nice. Highly recommended

Pros: We had a lovely stay at Pompei Ruins! This B&B is in great location, in an old and charming part of Pompei, many restaurants and cafes around. Close to Pompei archeological site. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast made us ready for exploring Pompei for hours, something for everyone :)The host Francesco made us feel welcomed in Italy and it was a really good start of visiting Italy :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner Francesco and his colleague were super friendly and welcoming. We were allowed to check in earlier as planned and also checked out a little later. Pros: Breakfast was good. Locations was central and easy to travel. Safe parking was a plus. No real concerns with the stay. Would recommend the Pompeii Ruins.
Cons: Several places have the same name so it was difficult to find the location. The staff seemed rushed to get us out and make us pay. Everything was slow paced in Italy but this location seemed to want us out of the room and eat our breakfast quickly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: GREAT coffee! Cheerful service by Francesco/Owner. He encouraged us to make sandwiches for our visit to Pompeii. Great start to our day.
Cons: This accommodation exceeded our expectations.
7.5 Good
Pros: Nice host! Awesome breakfast Available paying parking for big van
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Francesco is very friendly, helpful and caring. Whatever questions you have he'll get u all infos. He wants you to have the best stay. His English is bit poor, so you should speak italian (more words than "buon giorno, grazie, dov'è il/la/lo...") :-D, ;-) , but anyway at the end you all get it ;-). Francesco's efforts are priceless. Accomodation is new, modern and very cleaned! There are bars, cafes, gelateria, etc.. around the corner.
Cons: At night a bit noisy due to bars around the corner, but was not too bad.
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything. Fabulous host, lovely property, great location
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfasts included fresh croissants and doughnuts. There was fresh fruit and yogurts provided and a variety of soft drinks. The man who served breakfast was helpful and friendly. We were given a birthday cake so that we could celebrate my son's birthday, which was a very thoughtful gesture. We were very close to the attractions and to a variety of restaurants. It was the perfect place for a family requiring 3 rooms.
Cons: Some of the beds were very hard.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to the Pompeii entrance, nice breakfast and very kind and helpful host.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for visiting of Pompeii and/or Vesuvio. Located just opposite the entrance to Pompeii and to public bus stop to Vesuvio. Host works as a tourist guide in Pompeii and gave us plenty of info.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The b&b is in an excellent location, the host gave us maps and recommended places to visit and local restaurants. For our family it was perfect as we took up the three rooms of the apartment. There was a lovely Italian man who served us breakfast each morning, which consisted of fresh croissants, bread, fruit, yogurts and juices. They catered well for me as I am vegetarian. A cake was also provided for my brothers birthday, which was a lovely touch. I would recommend the accommodation.
Cons: Not an issue for us but just be aware that quite a small space if mixed with different groups of travellers.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for visiting Pompeii ruins and trips out to Vesuvius, Herculaneum, Sorrento/Capri and Naples. We were met at the earlier booking-in time we requested and given recommendations for eating out and things to do. Without this we would have missed out on a delicious meal at the restaurant Adu di Mimi and the fantastic views to be had from the top of the Campanile in the nearby piazza (buy a ticket to take the lift up). Large, clean comfortable room. The B&B as a whole perhaps wasn't quite what we were anticipating - a set of 3 suites within a larger apartment block - but it delivered what it promised and served us very well. A very enjoyable stay - thank you.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, super helpful owners
Cons: The beds were very hard
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location and service
Cons: It was a bit expensive, considering their own local prices and the season.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, simple and comfortable but above all the location is amazing to visit the ruins and also access the Vesuvius bus. They are a couple of hundred metres away. Lots of local parking. Couldn’t ask more for our visit.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant location 100m from the ruins. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.

Felt very secure at night as there was a large electric gate we had the fob to get in and out with.

Pros: In terms of location, you do pay for what you get, but it's an easy fifteen minute walk to the ruins, and five minutes to a nice square with restaurants and gelaterias etc. The owners were very friendly and gave us a lift to the station. The property was easy to find and well signposted.
Cons: Whilst the room was comfortable, in the hot summer weather, the air conditioning could have been slightly more powerful. Otherwise no complaints.
7.0 Good
Pros: The owners are extremely friendly even though their English and my Italian were limited. Walking distance from ruins.
Cons: You have to walk through the double room from the bunk room to go to the toilet during the night. It is very basic with no soft chairs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Central but also quiet. Absolutely fantastic host. Welcomed us late in the evening and brought us to our private studio. Nice little extras like cold water in fridge in our room. Recommended nice places for us to eat. The following morning they told us to leave our luggage in their house for as long as we wanted before our train. And then insisted on driving us over to the ruins so that we didn’t have to walk. Once we came back to collect our bags they offered us cold drinks and also drove us to the train station. Such a lovely accommodation and couple.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very hospitable people! Thanks for driving us to the bus stop;)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into this family run apartment. The room was spotless and comfy. The lovely man who owns it gave us a tour round Pompeii so we knew where everything was and then also gave us a lift back to the airport. The accommodation is very near to the centre so only about 5-10mins walk until you get to the ruins and all the shops, restaurants and bars. A lovely hidden gem!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There are few places that one can call a real gem- but the B&B Mara is one of them. The room was spotless and clean, sizeable with great amenities like a table and chairs and fridge. We had access to a balcony which had a good view over Pompei. The location was perfect. Around a 10-15 minute walk from the entrance to the Pompei ruins, train station, and tourist centre of the modern Pompei. But far enough out for it to be peaceful and quiet, so you had the feeling that you were not stuck in the tourist hub. Our private bathroom was spacious, with a cute sliding door to connect it to the main room. Perhaps most importantly, and something that is lacking in lots of hotel/b & b establishments, the host family was fantastic! They made you feel right at home, and couldn't do enough for you. We spoke no Italian, they little English, but we managed to communicate very effectively. When we first got to the B & B our plug converter would not fit into the sockets in the room. No problem as our host found us a converter of his own that worked and which he lent us for the duration of our stay. And to top it all off, he took us to Naples Airport the morning we were flying to save us catching the train! They truly made the stay feel very homely and comfortable. All in all, the B &B Mara is fantastic and we will certainly be going there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here for only one night with a friend and wish I could have stayed much longer. The owners were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond their duties, going quite out of their way to assure we were comfortable and could get around the town with ease. They lived on site and really made us feel at home. The facilities were very clean, the location was walking distance to the ruins and very close to some lovely restaurants. Overall I was extremely satisfied with my stay and will return to stay for longer as soon as I can. 10/10.

Vincenzo & Lorena were very kind and helpful, showing us the best places to go in the area and even giving us a map of Pompeii that was marked with the best areas to explore. Pros: Location is perfect. Staff are very friendly to help with everything.
Cons: Shower space is too small. Breakfast has limited choices.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms, only ground floor, so could have been cold in cold April nights, after huge downpour caught us in Pompei, but the heating was on when we returned, so we could easily dry our clothes... Nice garden - would like to sit there for sth to drink or eat, but weather did not permit. Bathroom - though very old and pretty basic - was renovated and very clean, everything was functioning ok. Warm water! Two washbasins. Huge room for the 3 of us: 1 double, 1 sgl, 1 bunk bed... this made us aware this is a hostel, not a hotel. Pretty simple furniture. But if some carpet was added, you could say it's Italian auberge - style. Breakfast - Italian one, but fresh, tasty and good.
Cons: Would be nice if there was an electric kettle or sth similar in the rooms or in some shared spaces (if there were such) - for colder times. We needed warm water, but thankfully bar was open - you could buy coffee/tea/chocolate in good prices and ask for some hot water. Huge room for the 3 of us: 1 double, 1 sgl, 1 bunk bed... this made us aware this is a hostel, not a hotel. Pretty simple furniture. But maybe, if some carpet was added, you could say it's Italian auberge - style.

Pros: Location is ideal and you can walk to the ruins
Cons: Everything was great
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Whilst this accommodation is called a hostel, it is nothing like a hostel. The room was big and spacious and could sleep up to 5 people. Breakfast was lovely and all of the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The location is a prime place to stay if visiting the ruins as they are only 10 minutes walk away. There is an excellent restaurant just 100 metres away. You get a glass of Prosseco on arrival and it is very reasonably priced. To get to it turn left out of the hostel and it’s on the right hand side at the crossroads of the square. Well worth it. There is also plenty of parking here so no need to worry about parking in Pompeii.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and resourceful staff. Beautiful garden inside and the rooms are very comfortable, clean and great decor. Walking distance to the Pompei ruins, restaurants and shops. Safe area.

Pros: Villa Franca was a nice place to have as a base when visiting Pompeii. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the pool is nice. The staff/owner are very helpful and pleasant too. A plentiful and delicious dinner is provided if you want - which is great as their is not much around. It was a nice place to spend one night :-)

Cons: No fridge in the room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly family guest house. Nice and cozy Italian garden by the pool where we eat and hang out. Stay and enjoy the evening dinner!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stumbled across Villa Franca by good fortune having decided last minute to spend the night in Pompeii rather than Paestum. And how lucky we were, we could not have been made to feel more welcome. Simple spotless rooms with air con, copious towels and a wonderful little swimming pool, an oasis from the intense July heat. Lorena and Domenico looked after us superbly and blew us away with their delicious traditional dinner. The most generous antipasti I’ve ever seen plus a lasagna and gnocchi that should win a Michelin star - homemade slow cooked by Domenico - the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten. And what good value! Many thanks indeed Villa Franca!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: What a gem, so close to Pompeii, the owners are so welcoming and accomodating. Good size room for a family of four in an easy to find location. On adivce we had dinner there, although we were a little worried how the children would get on as there was no menu - just eat what you are given, the food was excellent and a lovely example of local fare. A great start to our holiday.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our family of 4 loved absolutely everything about this small family run hotel! We were immediately welcomed upon arrival by our hosts with a cold beer and the kids jumped straight into the lovely swimming pool. Our room was simple but comfortable and very clean. Beds and pillows were great and we made use of the aircon at night. The best part about this hotel, apart from the lovely family who run it, was the dinner. It’s a must if you stay there! So much food and everything was homemade and delicious. Our kids especially loved the Lasagne. The hotel is an easy 10min walk to the entrance of the ruins and also the train station. We arranged a private car transfer through the hotel and we were met at Naples airport arrivals gate and driven straight to the hotel. Cost was €60 and totally worth it!
Cons: Nothing at all! We loved everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had the most welcoming stay! Gorgeous family running this accommodation. Pool was AMAZING after a day of exploring the ruins in the heat. The room was comfy and very very clean. Excellent location from the ruins. Best part about our stay was the homecooked dinner banquet. Such amazing hospitality and beautiful food served to us. There was SO MUCH food (be sure to eat a light lunch!). 100% recommend this accommodation and will be staying here next time.
Cons: Nothing at all!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This was exactly what I expected...basic and clean but also super family friendly! Particularly when traveling with young children, where a day at Pompeii can feel like an eternity, the pool was heaven! We also met other lovely families that made it one of the most special experiences of the whole Amalfi trip! And yes, the dinner lived up to the hype!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming older hotel with refreshing pool and friendly staff.

Pros: Massimo our host was charming and extremely helpful - he booked a nearby restaurant for our dinner and also permitted us to leave our car in his secure car park whilst we spent 4 hours at the Pompeii ruins after checkout. Our room was spacious and had a pleasant outlook over a paddock of poppies in full flower. The property was located an easy 20 minute walk from the Pompeii site .

Cons: Everything was amazing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is a short walk from Pompei archaelogical site, lots of shops and restaurants very close by to get food etc. Our hostess Carla was very kind and helpful the entire time and always cheerful. She made our stay fantastic & went above and beyond our expectations. Breakfast was on time & delicious every day. One of the staff (I think her name was Anne) was also very kind and welcoming. The real star of our holiday was Princess Lola, a sweet little dog who greeted us every morning. Overall an amazing stay and very happy with every aspect.
Cons: The walk from the location to the main road is along a small side road which is a bit of a squeeze to walk down when there are cars driving along it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was nice, spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and cool. Hosts are very warm people, and even went beyond their duty to please us - in our case giving us a lift to the train station - thanks Salvatore :)
Cons: Having arrived by train and moving about by foot, the distance from the centre was manageable but distance to pompei site was far, and the city has poor provisions for local transport ie. No smaller taxis and no bus to be seen... So find way to rent some bikes !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really nice location, perfect staff. It was really close (15 min walk) to pompeii ancient city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host is friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is very nice. Room is clean.

Pros: Excellent location for exploring the Pompeii ruins and excursions to the Vesuvius, both are 5 mins on foot. Large secure parking. The rooms are small, with AC (and you'll need it in summer), with a balcony and perfectly OK if you're only sleeping there. Breakfast basic Italian: sweets, no eggs, some ham and cheese. Good coffee.
Cons: Nothing the hotel can do anything about. The neighborhood looks a bit rough in the evening, but hey, it's (almost) Naples. The south side is a bit noisier because of a busy street, but for us it was OK.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: From the moment we pulled up at the secure gate, we felt welcome and comfortable. The gate opens into secure parking amongst the citrus orchard, then reception, a blessing to meet good english language, and handed a local map showing the best, quickest entrance into Pompeii, such a haven of peace and comfort, after driving several hours. Loved it. Thank you
Cons: Yoghurt for muesli at breakfast, not a big deal overall.
