Pros: Bed comfy. Heating good. Quiet.
Cons: Shower pressure and temperature hard to control . Shelf above bathroom basin not practical. Further out of town than expected.

Pros: Loved the setting with the chickens and alpacas around. Really nice aspect with the balcony view. Beautifully quiet. Lovely to have a welcoming vase of daisies and a note from the owners saying hello! Our brief interaction with our host (Steve) very positive as he was most friendly, helpful and wanted to ensure we were enjoying our stay.
Cons: Parking was a little difficult but we manged to maneuver it ok! We enjoyed having a spa but I do find getting in/out of the spa bath a bit difficult and slippery. It was a bit annoying not to be able to get Netflix on the first night but it was our choice not to ring anyone about it and we were able to watch one of the supplied dvd's. Happy that Steve sorted it out for us when we saw him the next day.

Pros: Cosy old heritage building with a tiny bar and roaring open fires. Well located.
Cons: Tiny, cramped rooms upstairs, only comfortable for hobbits.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved our stay - commencing with our very late arrival coming with an offer by the property to put aside a bottle of wine and dinner for us despite them being long finished work by the time we got there. Peaceful accommodation in a beautiful location. Friendly, unobtrusive staff. Terrific breakfasts. Will definitely stay here again.
Cons: The only improvement I’d suggest would be in relation to the curtains that weren’t able to stop early morning sun-light in the room. Wonderful accommodation though and it wouldn’t stop me staying again.

Pros: Our overnight stay was outstanding. We appreciated all the attention to details from our super comfortable beds to the special home cooked treats in the kitchenette. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything and wished that we had booked for more than one night. Having a separate lounge area adjacent to the bedroom was much appreciated after a few days on the road. The dinner was superb, the best meal on our 12 day Victorian trip. Breakfast and the breakfast room was excellent. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and the advice on wine and gin was knowledgeable. We will be back.
Cons: There wasn't anything not to like.

Pros: The service and facilities were exceptional. We loved the sitting rooms available for guests especially the one with a fireplace blazing on the cool night we were there. The outdoor bar area is great. Breakfast was well presented and delicious. A great one night stay close to walks and shops.
Cons: It was not a problem for us but if you have an attic bed room there are narrow steep stairs to access the spaces.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The cosy atmosphere. The wood open fires keeping the place warm and the friendly staff
Cons: Unfortunately the showers in the morning were cold. Port Fairy is cold enough without that.

5.0 Okay
Pros: We got a room
Cons: It was very basic. Everything worked and sustained life but did little else. Not good value compared to other regional locations we’ve stayed recently.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice room , very comfortable, but it smelled terribly. We were offered another room , nowhere as nice as our original room, so we declined it, and put up with the smell. The owner said there wasn’t a problem, with the smell......just that the room had been unused for sometime. He also said no one else had ever complained about it. We disagreed, it was not pleasant. The room was number 2.
Cons: As above, also compared with stops at victor harbour, Robe, and appllo bay it was more expensive. Also the tv remote only worked part time. Would not recommend.
