Pros. Good proximity to downtown Portland, 10-20 min walk to most places, and ample access to transport for getting around outside of downtown. Small refrigerator & microwave in room. Free parking available. Works as a crash pad if you are not planning to hang out a lot at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, allowed me to park my car a little early when I needed to be at a meeting before check-in & leave it parked a little after check-out to accommodate my work schedule.
Cons. Thin walls to hear anything above a whisper inside & thin windows to hear everything (including noisy streetcars/trams passing frequently) outside. Could have sacrificed the massive television for a coffeemaker. The few lamps were too dim to read by. Linens seemed clean, but the rest of the room felt tidied and wiped down, not “hotel clean”. Bed & pillows were quite uncomfortable.
Pros. It is a very decent hotel, nothing fancy, showers use a small shower head, the bathroom is rather small, not much lighting in the room, no plug for the drain in the bathroom sink. Just any okay place, cheap enough but just no nice amenities.
Cons. The bathroom was pretty small and the shower head was short. No real place to put your bath items, not much for lights.

Pros. The location is great, very close to some great food trucks. Also one of the easiest for transit since the green line ends right here. Close to the University. Microwave and fridge included. Great heating/ A.C. unit. Very nice staff.
Cons. You get what you pay for! Stains in the carpet, nightstands blocked outlets and switches (easy enough to move, but still), very thin walls so able to hear (and feel!) the streetcars movements and other guests. Biggest downside was that the room key was similar to USB stick, so easy to lose (I did) and had to pay $5 to replace it. Reasonable enough fee but had it been a traditional 'credit card' style it would have gone in my wallet and not been lost.
Pros. It's right in front of the MAX light train and PSU. Perfect location to explore the city. Overall quiet and comfortable environment, friendly staff at front desk. Very comfortable bed. Quick check in and check out.
Cons. One day room service was skipped (Saturday). There were no trashcans in the room and the counter space in the bathroom was very limited.
Pros. Location was walking distance from Portland Art Museum, Powell's and Keller Auditorium.
Cons. Bed was uncomfortable the first night.

Cons. i was not aware that the dormitory area is for 30 and under. I do not think that's fair. This crucial bit of information was not availiable online unless you lol for it. So I was forced to get a more expensive hotel.
Pros. I liked the location which is really good one (near the street car, metro and PSU)
Cons. The cleaning of the rooms isn't up to standards as there are many times where not fully cleaned due staff availability. Also the bed cover wasn't truly clean!!
Pros. It is right next to two streetcar lines. Easy walking distance to everything. Plus Portland is great!
