Location and convenience
It wasn’t as clean as it should have been. Vents and bathroom was dusty. Visually unappealing. Hair I rinsed out of the tub and dirty behind the toilet. Made me feel uncomfortable.
Nice location within walking distance to shops and restaurants.
great service clean rooms, the pillows were uncomfortable but otherwise everything good, the Valet guys go above and beyond for your guests!
When we arrived we were told that we were comped the Executive Suite. We were expecting a king room with no view, instead got the best suite in the house! Along with the room came Conceirge Services as well, also comped! The breakfast in the Concierge Lounge Monday morning was amazing!! And the waitstaff was amazing there as well. The staff at the desk were bright and cheery and very helpful! We'll definitely be back!!
Three things stood out. 1) the tub shower combination was delightful and the water pressure superb, however the tub drained very poorly and by the time a 5 minute shower was had the water was ankle deep! 2) I was surprised to find that the Executive Suite didn't have a pillow topper on the mattress which was fairly hard. I woke up with sore spots. :( 3) the restaraunt was definitely a disappointment. Especially since Portland is supposed to be a "Foody" city. I ordered the American breakfast with eggs hash browns and bacon and the Eggs over hard were burnt on top, and hard around the edges. The hash browns were swimming in grease. We informed the wait staff and they took off 20%, but that really didn't do much for the indigestion. :( We will definitely never go back to their restaraunt again.
