The location is nice
The first thing I noticed was the very very dirty worn out carpet, and it smelled. The fixtures and bed frames were cheap and not up to standard for a classy hotel. I was disappointed spending $250 for this very unkept place. The arrangement of the furniture is also odd and uncomfortable, in the lobby area. And I was at least excited to have a strong cafe latte in the morning. And that was another extreme disappointment. Not only was it $16 for two Cafe lattes, but they tasted like water with a taste of coffee, I had to purchase a different coffee as soon as I left the hotel. This hotel was a major disappointment for me and my family.
Great location. Historic quality.
Carpet dirty room and halls
The nostalgia, the location and the amazing, friendly, accommodating staff. Felt like family
The hotel staff made our stay at this hotel feel like a 5 star experience. The guitarist in the bar was as skilled as Santana
