Quiet stay
Location, easy parking. No parking fee
great downtown location but.....
I loved the location, they have a great restaurant and bar. If you are into or restored historical locations you will be in heaven. It is beautiful. They accept dogs (see cons) they were really clean everywhere inside and out. AC works great.
I had my Yorkipoo they put you on the 1st floor because they have hardwood floors. My dog could hardly walk they were so slippery. We were scared that he might jump off the bed and crash and hurt himself. They also have zero places for your dog to go potty. It's basically walk to the park or the sidewalk outside the hotel. Rooms are very small, beds are very hard. Lots of stairs, not disabled friendly at all. Not family friendly.
Old charming hotel
It was charming for an adults only kind of place. I think for how old it is the wear and tare of children would be hard in a place like this.
Great Historic Hotel near Whiskey Row
Beautiful hotel in great location with friendly staff. Highly recommend staying here! Pet friendly but pet owners are required to be responsible so the animals don't disturb other guests which is nice. Good parking close to all the action!
Historic hotel = small bathrooms & little louder than normal.
Poor choice
Nothing
Everything, small rooms a ridiculous elevator, rude and judgemental staff. No management on duty at night. Will never stay there again, nor will my family.
Quaintness of lobby.
Very small bathroom. Knees just about hit the wall when sitting on toilet.
Historic Charm
Loved the historic atmosphere, antiques, old pianos. Music made for a great atmosphere. Service was very attentive and cheerful. Hotel bar and restaurant also good options.
Thin walls, loud neighbors
The hospitality was awesome. It was very well kept.
The extremely small bathroom. It was hard not to drop things in the toilet it was so tight. Also, because this is a historical building you can hear everything through the walls and windows. I would say this is a great place to stay overall, you just have to understand the age of the building.
Location, the historic .hotel has been.well preserved, the nostalgia.
The location of the Hotel was the primary reason we booked it. We liked the nostalgia of the hotel, and the staff was very helpful, polite, & courteous. The rooms were quaint, but they had what we needed.
The bathroom felt like a closet. A little pricey per night.
