The hotel is placed on very beatuful plase with amazing view. The bed was noisy.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating (cleaning the rooms daily), the location is great (at the end of a beach and during September, a nearly empty one at that!), and the place itself is just super despite its small size--a great terrace with equally great views for breakfast, olive trees all around, and free beach chairs. Oh, and they have a cool stone barbecue grill area under a pine tree that we used one evening, and really enjoyed. The room--a superior studio--was large enough and they provided us with a crib and wash tub for our baby daughter. Great view for sunsets and the beach from our balcony as well. Bathroom is small, and the kitchenette area pretty small as well with few amenities, so bring some things if you know you'll want them and aren't sure they'll be there. Eg, a cutting board, bowls for cereal, a good skillet and spatula, etc. Our bed was a little broken, but we took rigged it and let them know, so I presume they'll fix it soon enough. Otherwise it was a long double bed (good for someone like myself who's 192cm!). Oh, and not their fault, but there are mosquitoes in the evening so keep covered or put on spray, and keep the balcony doors closed so they don't get inside to nip at you while you sleep!
Very nice staff, everything was ok with our stay. I chose it because ot pet acceptance. There is no internet connection as described
Cousy hotel at the end of a peasfull bay, little private beach and little nice garden with olive and pomegranate trees. Friendly and helpful personnel. For tree persons a room was a bit small.
the garden and the beautiful sea view very small bathrooms
excellent location, on the beach (rocky thought, but with a sandy beach less than 5minutes walk), room is quite big, with great sea view balcony
I especially liked the proximity to the beach and cleanliness of rooms.
The landscape The breakfast
Good location, good value for money. They could improve the directions to get to the hotel, it's a bit tricky to find and we had to ask around.
the sea On booking was market as internet free, however is not true, you have to pay in order to access internet, so big disappointment!!! Also same food every day at breakfast, that's why we did not even try dinner. For umbrella and 2 chairs on the beach you have to pay 5 euro/day...this should be free considering we payed 95 euro/night...in Turkey this is free, so they should learn from Turkey's tourism a lot...
I liked very much the yard and the garden
Excellent garden and see view, great people! Too small bathroom.
The beautiful view, the weather, the location, the staff attitude
Very quiet and cosy hotel It would be nice if hotel offers the umbrella for beach
Nice staff, wonderfull garden, all rooms with sea view, very close to the beach, very quiet, free wireless, good value of money. Gerakini is not a very interesting place to stay, the only thing the it's worth to go is Villa Kaliopi. Even that is close to the beach, we never stood there because the beach was dirty and also there are a lot of other better placese to take a bath in the sea.
location, garden, quite atmosphere very tiny bathroom
Very good location by the sea, great garden, beautiful view over the bay. Excellent value for money.
the only thing I liked about the hotel was its location near the sea. the rooms are small and need renovation, the fridge inside the room was extremely noisy and I couldn't sleep, the bathroom flooded instantly after each shower and finally the whole cleanliness of the room was poor.
A fost totul OK. Ai liniste, ai marea aproape, gazdele au fost foarte primitoare. Pe scurt, un loc in care iti doresti sa te intorci.
garden, view, beach, location, staff bath room-small and used
beauty of the land, at the sea but not at the sea, the hotel in an interesting project, uniqueness - in this area -, comfort.
Everything was perfect. The hotel is a perfectly renovated old country inn, full of antique furniture, but complete with all the modern utilities. The owner, Vassilis, is keen on keeping traditions alive. We received lots of info about the Halkidiki peninsula from Vassilis.
This is not a hotel, is a home!
We like the personal attention given to us by the hotel owners (Vasilis and Lena), the time they devoted to orient us in the area, their recomendations for dining and beach and mountain tours. We like the village and the area itself. It is not on the beach, but much calmer and cool in the night. The hotel is four star and provides comfort, nice surroundings and type of gurme services you can enjoy.... it is suitably situated close to small mountain stream and next to a small forest covered hill...insulated from noisy enviroment tipical for beach resiorts and very close to the nature.
It is a perfect hotel for holiday, we were feeling like home. If you like to be in contakt with spirit place, tradition, saund and smell of nature, delicious and fresh home-cooked food...this is right place. Privilege is familiarize owners who is designed and built the hotel, because he built Viraggas - Whirlpool of positive minds, feeling good and love. It is difficult to leave this place!
Excelent place for getting rest of city life
Fantastic location, good weather, excellent service and delicius food All was ok
