The staff attention and personal willingness to help was great No wifi service
The room was so commodious, and clean at the first day. I stayed 2 nights. On the 2nd day, I was so surprised to notice the bad room cleaning service. Hairs left on the floor, used rumpled bathrobe left on the floor in the bathroom, and used tablecloth was on the table. I smirched a slipper on accidentally, on the 2nd day, just one slipper was left instead of a pair of slippers. I think it was because I forgot to put tips because I was in a hurry. But basically, tips are for good service, should not be reasons for bad service. Moreover, I run out facial papers, so I asked for one to the room cleaning clerk on my way to room from restaurant. She answered, "No, this is for other room, I bring one to your room". But she never bring it until the time of checkout. So miserable experiences.
excellent location at paris...or maybe the best location parking the car is really not organized and very hard to find
Strategic location in the business district, spacious room, complementary beakfast In-room facility for phone call, internet access & pay TV could be cheaper.
Located in La defense - 15 mins by metro to centre of Paris. Good shopping around hotel. Clean and well sized room, good staff.
It was my 20th birthday, The staff was excelent, really good comfort, staff took care of us, everything was lovely!!! No!!!
well appointed, staff very professional very hard to find during the building work, not signposted. I emerged late evening from La Defense Metro, Hilton is signposted on hoardings of the buiding work, but the signs direct you to a gate which is locked and chained. I walked around for some time before I discovered the entrance
Convenient location for our requirements Dislike is probably too strong a word, but an observation on service was that the hotel was under staffed in the bar/restaurant on the Sunday evening - had to wait 20 minutes before bar service received. This is not an issue about the people who were working, they were very pleasant, just not enough of them.
This is an excellent hotel and one of the best hotels in Paris I have lived in. The location is good and is just a few stops away from all the attractions. Breakfast is fantastic !
Easy access to public transportation, shopping mall and restaurants. Location far from touristic objects.
The Concierge was extremely helpful, otherwise not up to the normal Hilton standard Cockroaches in the restaurant at breakfast, nasty stains on the couches in the reception area! The faux wooden flooring in the bedrooms is very noisy. No refrigerator in the room.
A pair of bathroom slipper
Good romm. Good brekfeast.
quick check-in, big rooms, fast elevators, poor breakfest, too expensive internet
The staff, Paying for Internet
The room was very nice and large. The breakfast buffet was very good and the proximity to Orly was a real assett as it allowed us to have a relaxing time before a long flight
Proximity to the airport. Shuttle bus Strong smell of tobacco in my non smoking room. Very overpriced room!!!
Location is convenient if you need to stay close to the airport. That was within walking distance from terminal, what really was helpful due to taxi drivers strike that shut all transportation fro and to terminal. Not worth the value. The room was overheated and no way to cool it down. I couldn't sleep well waking up sweating. Staff admitted the problem but didn't even try to solve it. I general I can't really say that staff is unfriendly, but they are kind of distant? Don't really interested to help, it looks like they just don't care. Another example that they don't care about customer convenience is that You can't leave a luggage for safety between the checkout and time you need to leave for your flight.
Proximity to the airport and shutle bus No minibar in the room
Convenient location Orly Airport Helpful staff Broken heating - too hot Room generally shabby
Location The bedrooms are old (poorly furnished) an the bathroom is not of a 4star hotel.
It was clean and the staff were helpful. The menu was limited and the charges for the food, both in room and out, were outrageous.
The dinner buffet and the breakfast selection are quite excellent! I did think it was quite clean and I loved my room. I wish all the hotels I stayed at were as well-maintained as here. I spent so little time here I didn't notice anything that went negatively.
a spacious room, nice bathroom, fantastic bed. the staff are very friendly and nice. breakfast: some pastry items were not fresh, the orange juice doesn't flow out of the container easily. sometimes the pastry items are not restocked in time.
Nearness to the business district. Good rooms. Good Service. Comfortable stay.
The service was amazing! Nothing, it was all great
Location perfect for work at La Défense
Very comfortable and spacious room, good location, close to public transportation, very quiet. Very expensive Internet access - even 90 euros Paris hotels have free internet access !!!!
The staff kindness and professionalism. The room quality. Nothing.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great (even thu it is a bit expensive). First, small room was given to me (in corner), even we couldn't fit the my child cot inside. Then,it was changed after several arrgement with receptionest. Check-in time was long !. Escilators out side the hotel are not working. I have to claim 90 steps everytime I go out (with child seat). Internet is not free (expensive)
Comfortable room There was no vegitarian options on the menu except stir fry. I was extremely disappointed by this as all good hotels offer a much better range. Therefore, I had a sandwich.
quite and its location you have to walk through a very long stairs to reach the metro and the grand arch area. there is escalator but it wan out of service for 5 nights
room, bad, location, car parking distance from metro
The location is ideal for working in La Defense. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is very expensive. I had a hot chocolate which cost €5.50 which is a ridiculous price! And €10 per hour for internet use in the room is far too expensive. I would expect this to be included in the room price as that was expensive also.
The staff was very friendly, the rooms were nicely furnished, the location was good. The bathroom was so small you could hardly move in the shower. Although the location is good, be prepared to walk about 10 minutes in the maze of La Défence. And phone ahead for parking places - even though the reservation on booking.com states there is no possibility to make parking reservations.
The Hotel was near my business place The hotel personnel was totally unprepared to meat customers demands regarding the debit card payments, heating equipment in the room and did not have sufficient knowledge of English Language.
Personell is very, very nice, especially for Parisian standards ..... Bathroom is a bit old, and very tiny
It would have been nice to have at least one German tv programme.
Comfortable and staff was very friendly Parking information was a lilltle bit different from what it is described but it was also OK for me because I can park in public area during weekend
Very good value for that money. Rather convinient location (20min to city center)
My hotel room was based over two floors which was a little strange when you're not expecting it, perhaps more pictures on the site would remove that problem.
Location, Interior Tv channels, the number of channels were very very few.
Excellent hlpfull receptionist, Free Internet The perfume in the room was way too strong!
Clean rooms ; good breakfast
very nice hotel with friendly staff and a shuttle to the nearest RER: Vivaldi is an excellent choice! wifi connection was not always up
Friendly staff. Very clean. Breakfast bufet also ok. Very good situated, 8 min. walk to Metro / Line 1 which goes directly to center of Paris within 5 minutes. Friendly neighborhood, with restaurants, big shopping centre and small shops. Very good value for money!!
A very neat hotel to stay in. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's about 5 minutes from the nearest metro. The rooms and especially the bathroom was small. The hotel had no own parkplace. Fortunately there is a parking under the city hall, which is only 3 minutes from the hotel. There is litte room for the breakfast.
Breakfast buffet was good; hotel staff was very friendly. Location was extremely poor, too far from metro station or other public transportation. Internet connection was not functioning properly when it rained.
clean room and nice breakfast
We liked that our room gave out on the terrace, which is nice when you have a baby sleeping in the room.
wifi free internet access douche cabine too small
the hotel itself is good the distance from the metro is too far, therefore the value for money is no more than fair
Clean rooms, free wireless internet in the rooms, good breakfast, quiet neighbourhood Metro could be a little closer (10min. walk)
Cool staff, location The rooms are veeeeery small, so is the shower and the elevator.
The location is perfect. Now most of the hotels in the world provide free internet service. E.G. Concorde Lafayette in Porte Maillot, Paris
Room, location good for the sites, all the sites are the metro 1 line (yellow) which is the la defense. The food was expensive and of low quality.
nice design, location, staff no free wifi, no body milk, breakfast could have been better (no boiled eggs)
It is close to subway, and rather quiet on weekends. The bedding is excellent, very comfortable. The route going to the hotel by car or taxi is so winding and takes a lot of turns within the district before reaching the hotel. This is due to the public traffic planning in La Defense, perhaps.
the location the internet not free like other 4-star hotels in paris
it was easy and comfortable, the location was good and easy for the city either by taxi or train. Very expensive, but so were all the other Paris hotels that day!!
the junior suite is spacious. the espresso machine, the bed. near a big shopping mall. Quite business area. It is a bit expensive. the conceirge (unintentionally) mislead us when we ask him about rent a car company in the city.
Well designed and furnished , 5 minutes walk from the Metro, placed in scrapsky quarter - nice to see 1-2 times. Restaurant in the lobby is very expensive and has very small choice of the meal. Breakfast is usual one but also is rather expensive. I also may recommend to the hotel concierge not to use this taxi service that they ordered for us. We wait it 30 mins in the lobby and we sited to the car - it was already 22 euros. I asked driver - why - he said - "its no problem, I won't charge you additionally" - but finally he did.
the comfortable bed No
Fresh, clean, modern, simple Shower leaked under glass door - no lip to stop flow, duvets are too hot even with air-conditioning on high fan
clean, and helpful staff The hotel entrance was close during my stay, the car parking should be free but they charge 20 Euro per day
Very clean, friendly staff, all staff spoke very good english.
Shettle to the airport. Friendly staffs, hotel quiet, Room clean and large. The room was fairly cold when arriving, did not have time to check if the heating system was on or off, same thing with the bathroom.
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. The shuttle bus from the hotel runs frequently (every 20 minutes) and was quick. The hotel itself was amazing for the price - exceptionally clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Orly.
near the airport with free shuttle service no porters and bell boys and front desk should tell guests that they must use room key for elevator use
The hotel is excellent but not good for the tourists who wants to go to paris centre because it cost you big money and time to move to paris centre.
Room, shuttle service was excellent, staff elevators frequently out of service
Just stayed in the Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, nice and comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle which takes 7 minutes to the terminal from 5 am to 11:30 pm. The hotel is in need of some remodeling, but overall nice. The staff were friendly. I stayed before at a different hotel in the area that received a much higher rating but liked the Best Western much better. It is mostly for business. The hotel can use some remodeling, the corridors feel dark with poor lighting.
proximity to airport.courteseous staff.
a big variety of breakfast , people are friendly, helps you out if you need help, fridge was closed with key ( you have to pay for minibar ) / Tv channels was very less.
Check in and check out was fast, the shuttle bus was on time. Don't have much to say since I stayed only for 5 hours. The shuttle bus was a bit ahead of time when we arrived in the airport and was waiting for a pick-up to the hotel, so we missed one and had to wait for another 20 minutes.
Breakfast was delicious Be pulled to secure the value of the room and not taken it back only after two weeks means twice the amount
Location and free WiFi. Elevator is tiny. Shower is small.
near to the metro
Hotel Victoria is in a suburb of Paris which has advantages and disadvantages: it is in a quite location close to a tram station, however, far from the city center.
Close to tram and therefor RER/Metro. Price good. Room small and Shower/WC very small.
Location close to business district.
Room was dirty. TV Didn't work. Hair dryer Didnt work. Shower was very dirty. The whole building smelled.
Calm, next to tram station, very close to La Defense, free wireless access at the lounge Very small bathroom
Hotel location, it was very easily accessible with the subway and/or tram. The rooms were a little smaller than I expected, but acceptable.
Had Wifi and really close to the station and very quiet! Toilet/Shower smelled a little!
Good price and situation, near from the tramway and the Dfense main station,in a quiet zone not too far of Paris-centrum. In front of a classic price of 8, the petit djeuner is a bit poor. Sound isolation is bad and noise comes from neighbour rooms.
Expensive for where it is located.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The price was very good per night
close to the metro station no shower, dirty carpet, small bathroom, two different hights of beds, no kettle, dirty shower curtain, damp smell, no light. i paid for a double room and got twin.
Friendly staff The room smelt of cigarette smoke for the duration of our stay even though it was a non smoking room
this hotel accomodation is highly recommended renovation of hotel accomodation
draft beer at the bar the shower head needs a fitting to hang it from the wall in the shower
Helpful, friendly staff Good location for paris and reasonably priced Petrol smell in the room. Shower not attached to the wall, difficult to use.
staff are very frindly and helpfull, the internet is free and the brakfast was good , the room is veryclean and neat nothing
the location is perfect for my facilities. The breakfast is fair. very small rooms poor ammenities.
Bed very comfortable. Quiet area. Puteau is very nice and in spite of being on the edge of Paris is still a good location, however we are both fit and healthy walkers. I wouldn't recommend it for people of limited mobility because of the distance to the closest Metro at Esplanade de la Defense. Breakfast room in the basement was claustrophobic and stuffy.
Nothing I found the staff to be extremely rude, the linen in the room smelt disgusting even after changing the linen it was still terrible, my pre-arrange tax service was always late causing us to almost miss our cruise dinner, my wake up call from the hotel was 30mins late, the food menu was terrible and the food was not great either & i would never reccommend this hotel to anyone.
Staff welcoming, hotel clean and tidy and restraunt meal was excellent
Perfect for short familly trip.
Clean, comfortable. We hear the sound of lift from our bed room all the time as it located next our room.
Kind hotel Staff, very good, wifi, a nice large clean room, well designed working desk. The location of Hotel is perfect for my purpose(business). It is an expensive hotel but you've got what you paid for, and I think with the same price you get a lot smaller room in the center of Paris usually.I also like the fact that they have smoking room as smokers tend to be discriminated more and more (and at the same time no smell of cigarette at all in the another area The water tmperature of bath and shower is set on 38 degree which wasn't hot enough for me and it can be colder but not hotter. Also the room temprature wasn't warm enough for me to work at night although it may be a good temperture to sleep. I tend to feel cold so for the most of people it would be ok, but I'd prefer to be able to make it warmer(there is a controller but I couldn't make it warmer at night time)
Windows were open 1cm and nailed there! the room was on a main road where the noise did not abate and we couldn't close the windows!
restaurant portions were very small for the cost. i think the neuvo quisine approach should be abandoned and larger portions offered.
It was good None
The staff very friendly and the free internet in the room.
Brand-new and very well designed hotel. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Free access to movies and entertainment via the provided Suite Box. The windows were sound-proof for street noise but not really for the railway noises that were just below our room (western side). Prefer the eastern side if you stay there or take the highest possible floor (9 floors). The room itself was very well designed for a couple but a bit too small for 3 adults. In particular this cannot be considered as an apartment as the kitchen area was too small with no cutlery, plates or any cooking instrument. The internet access was buggy and slow (advertised as high speed internet access)
the hotel is modern and confortable; the staff very kind , helpful and efficient
good size balcony, free use of mini bar fridge, big coffee cups, seperate toilet/bathroom, cordless kettle
Excellent check in staff and they were quick to resolve the issues concerning the 3rd bed in the room. Parking was affordable and easy, and the hotel is wonderfully near a metro station. Breakfast was a bit pricey but there are cafe Rooms are small for 3 beds but probably larger than most Paris hotels of this price. The extra bed initially provided was inadequate but quickly replaced.
Friendly stuff, nice hotel in general. At the beggining we were given room 407 with mold and a smell of it. But friendly stuff changed it for us for a clean one.
While I only stayed 1 night, I found all of the staff very friendly and helpful I would reccommend the hotel to other business travellers No
The hotel is very convenient for the event we were attending at Longchamp. Staff at reception are very helpful and all have good English. Rooms are clean and airy.
A very nice and comfortable hotel in the Paris Boulogne area. It was quiet and great for a good nights rest.
Incredibly friendly & efficient staff, helpful with directions and local knowledge No bad points
Hotel was convenient for a festival we attended. Room very comfortable and plenty of space for a Parisian hotel (albeit non-central). Area quiet, parking on streets nearby a real plus.
The Key was delivered without the room number or any information. The bath room seems be inside of roullotte. Seems like a motel for speedy rooms. Car parking extremely expensive.
Most of the staff were very friendly and thoughtful. We liked the fact that the hotel was pet friendly.A perfect hotel for stop overs on a long journey. The room temperature was good, not hot and stuffy like some hotels can be. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable.
The room have near 20mt and with one double bed and one sofa. They don't have free internet, like is show in booking. The staff don't speak english only french.
Internet doesn' t work
Rooms are clean and comfortable The staff wasn't helpfull. My car window is broken due to theft. I asked the receptionist for tape and plastic. They told me they don't have transparent plastic. That's ok. So I asked for some tape which I can take away. Because it's was sunday and all shops are closed. She still refuse to give me that plastic tape to take away even If I pay for it!!!!!
yes, a short business stay no
Clean and luxury decoration. Wifi not free, even in public area.
The surrounding neighborhood was quaint and quiet. The staff was snobish, except for Suzanne at checkin.
The hotel was fantastic! Staffs were absolutely nice all the time and every service made met my expectation.
Clean and spacious room. Lack of WiFi access in the room (was only available in the lobby)
I was a bit apprehensive when I used the bidding process to book this hotel but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the hotel. The hotel was beautiful and well kept. The staff was very courteous If I had one complaint it would be that Wi-Fi is not given free of charge not even in the public spaces of the hotel.
the staff was lovely and helpful. the facade was older but the inside was immaculate and they even brought singers into the lounge fitness room was tiny but still able to workout
The neighbourhood is very safe, and I really liked to be in a calm area but had the possibility to reach the Champs-Elysées within 2 Metro stations.
Cleanliness and comfortable bed A bit far to walk to
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Very comfortable room -- amazing bed. Lovely spacious bathroom. Very clean and bright --- good lighting for reading in bed. New and up to date Not terribly convenient to metro stations - quite a walk to get to the two stations that were in the area. Slightly misleading info on the web site about how far away they were and how long it took to walk there -- what did they do? Power-walk?
Nice hotel at nice location The room was a little bit old
Very clean and well secured. It was a little out of way of main attractions, but as in a very nice residential area.
Large size room - kettle and sink were neat - bathroom with bath AND walk in shower - free internet - Nearest Hippos Steak restaurant good and friendly lack of restaurant and proper sized breakfast area - landmark next to IKEA not advertised by yourselves - local streets system make it hard to find as it is hidden away behind IKEA and an offfice block. Nearest Hippos Steak restaurant an unpleasant walk if raining.
Close to velizy commercial center The enviroment around the hotel is not so good and the hotel instruction is not clear
Good enough for business trip.
some times we can enjoy the music event at the small stage.
Wireless internet, free parking Poor breakfast
Rooms are quite large and well fitted. Hotel staff is friendly. Good idea with the snack bar. Breakfast too light for the price of the hotel. Difficult too achieve, our taxi driver lost about 20 minutes to find the entrance to the parking.
spatious rooms with modern design. Nice office corner Both fixed ethernet and wifi have a performance issues. Really zaps you back to pre-broadband age.
Safe location, clean, quiet, modern. Friendly staff
Away from Paris Parking under the hotel building was entering a very tight car, magnetic card to use the door of the room and elevator does not work sometimes
Everything ok - spacious rooms
The staff were the best! They all were extremely friendly and helpful. There's complimentary nespresso in the lobby. Although the location is away from downtown Paris, it is easy to get around by metro. This is a very small hotel. The room we had (2-twin beds) was so tight it was like we were in the same bed. There's no space for 2 people to just sit or dine in the room. The location is outside of the center of Paris which we knew and this was fine. However, there aren't many dining options near the hotel especially after a certain time.
