10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location close to train station and city center. The staff was very nice and helpful, cool atmosphere, great rooftop, very clean rooms and bathroom. Unfortunately we missed the famous breakfast pancakes because we were leaving early in the morning - one of many reasons to come back! Highly recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and in prefect location staff friendly
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff. Pancakes for breakfast. Great recommendations for local restaurants and ice cream. Cheap bike hire.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best hostels where I have ever been, very clean and tidy, staff very friendly and careful, very nice common spaces provided with everything and bathroom very comfortable and wide, very near to the bus station and to the railway station of Faro
Cons: I don't know, it was perfect for me, just like home
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hostess is very nice and hospitable gave a lot of useful information. Spacious rooms and bathroom were very clean. Very good terrase upstairs, in summer it must be super. Hostel is right in the centre, 2 mins to bus station. Lockers in room (on deposit)
Cons: There was already cold at night (end Oct), during night there were loud noises (because of the centre location). Breakfast was not so good, only tea/coffee, bread / butter, jams and pancakes (we were execting cheese and ham, fruits) Hostess were frying something and the smell spreaded to whole kitchen and up to stairs...

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff is very friendly and kind.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Honestly one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. The rooms are a generous size, the breakfast is delicious. While all these things are true it is really the people that makes this special. Miguel who owns the hotel with his family is a brilliant host we particularly enjoyed being shown around his wine cellar and our cooking lesson! Lucy is also absolutely brilliant and so kind I really enjoyed talking with her. All the staff were brilliant and gave us an excellent stay. The cherry on top was Paco the pug!
Cons: The only thing I would change is writing this review! I don’t want to give the secret away of how special this place is.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was quite stunningly beautiful and our room was crisp and clean and wonderfully comfortable. The staff could not have been more kind or helpful.
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place for “escape from city “ break !
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wow, staying here was the perfect end to our Portuguese road trip! Miguel and his lovely family did everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is set within a tranquil countryside location with modern and spacious rooms which were immaculate. Our 3 year old enjoyed exploring the organic fruit gardens and our teenager loved the pool. The hotel also has a restaurant, bar and wine cellar so it is perfect for those days when you don't want to venture out but still want to experience Portuguese culture. The roof terrace allows you to view Faro and surrounding countryside and at night, is was great for stargazing, my husband wished that he had his binoculars! All this and yet only 15 minutes drive to Faro - we will definitely visit this gem of a hotel again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a find! The hotel is beautiful; clean and modern with lovely traditional touches. Breakfast is a continental self-service buffet with plenty to eat with staff on hand to offer coffee and even made to order pancakes. Dinners are excellent, skilfully prepared with local produce. Location is a peaceful setting not far from Faro town, but what really makes it all work so well is Miguel and all the staff who work so hard and went the extra mile for my wife and I to make sure that everything went smoothly including bike hire and wine tasting. Nothing was too much trouble for them. As we had an early flight on the day of departure, a packed breakfast was prepared for us to take away. All in all,we had a great time and we will be back!
Cons: Nothing. It was all perfectly satisfactory.
7.9 Good
Pros: The luxury room. Good bed. Good breakfast with fresh juice.
Cons: The food was good but not much choice. The restaurant is not cosy, felt a little strange to sit there.

Pros: Paulo and Pedro are exteemly friendly and helpful with tips. The hostel is spotless clean and only a 10 minute stroll from Faro's city centre. I only spent a night there but will definitely go back if I travel again to Faro.
Cons: Flooring in the common area could be improved. Toilets are very clean but a bit on the small side.

Pros: Very nice and absolutely clean!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It's a beautiful building , has a really nice vibe and feels super safe . Paulo is very accomadating and very helpful . €7 in a taxi from train sataion , walked into town took about 10/15 mins . Would stay here again .
Cons: The only thing I found annoying was the hall lights were in a sensor , so if got up during the night to use the bathroom or leave early to get a taxi to airport ( which we were ) light would come on which disturbs other guests and us. Maybe a lower wattage bulb would help for now .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpfulness of staff and willingness to go beyond what would be normal
Cons: Nothing .. all good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, small & cosy hostel. Light & spacious rooms. (I was staying in a dormitory with 4 beds and I never felt like I didn't had enough space for myself). Efficient check-in, using a code. Fully equipped kitchen. Since I had to leave after 12, I was welcome to stay & work in the shared space. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hostel to my friends.

Pros: Great owners!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and had more of a private hotel feeling than a hostel. Huge beautiful living room, beds comfortable and nice sheets and pillows. I used a sarong to get privacy since they only have co-ed dorms. Staff friendly and communicated well.. they are not at the property, but met me when I arrived and always commmunticared quickly by whatsapp whenever I had a question. Great for families, and the kitchen was amazing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean. Convenient.
Cons: Like everything.

Pros: We loved everything about the hotel. The hotel is located in town. The staff were great. Breakfast was amazing. The Fado BBQ night put on by the hotel was really entertaining. We just couldn't fault anything.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing we didn't like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is really unique and the staff are incredible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is one of those unique layouts with beautiful interior decorations and wall hangings and includes a piano, pool table, swimming pool and hot tub on site. The owner and staff are the friendliest people we have met in Portugal. Upon arrival they gave us a complete tour of their hotel with complimentary beer, wine or soft drinks while answering all of our questions about Faro, and Portugal in general. Ricardo literally walked all of us to his restaurant of choice one evening, arranged our transfers to the airport when we left and the staff could not do enough for us. They were terrific! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Faro and would literally change the dates of my next upcoming trip to be sure we could stay there. The location is excellent and only 10 minutes from the airport and next to some great restaurants and sights. Stay there, you will be very pleased!
Cons: Nothing, just an overall 10 out of 10 experience!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good location within walking distance to Faro train station. The staff and facilities were excellent and I can't recommend them enough. I highly recommend the barbecue dinner and Fado music organised by Opus One - it was the highlight of our stay, and we'll definitely book another stay at Opus One in future.
Cons: nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decor and facilities. Room spacious. Staff friendly. Lovely breakfast of local produce. Location excellent
Cons: The hot tub was cold a number of days. We were charged €8 each for glasses of wine with prices elsewhere in Faro ranging from €3-€5.5 in high end places. We saw other guests being offered a welcome drink which we were not offered
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast, the guys, almost everything. Had a great dat trip out with Pedro1 in their 'van' (minibus)
Cons: Nothing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautiful and large, everything needed was there. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE, service was spot on. We opted for the BBQ night with music and I have to say it was the most relaxed romantic evening we had in portugal. Really worth going to. The food was incredible, music spectacular, wine was paired exceptionally well. Location of the guest house was perfect. 5 minutes from the train station and 5 minutes from great restaurants. Great knowledge of the local area and recommendations of where to go/what to do.
Cons: The only thing that I can fault was the walking tour. We didn't specifically say we wanted to put our name down and we were not made aware that it would cost us €25 each at all. I felt very unwell that morning and they said that we already had 2 seats booked on the bus and we would have to pay weither we went or not. This was told to us until 5 minutes before leaving. I felt this was not dealt with properly at all. If we had known it would be €50 for two people to get driven to a market town and left for an hour and a half to walk around by themselves and then driven back, we would deffiently not have gone. We also got 2 single beds kn the room pushed together to make a double so there was a hard ridge in the centre. We normally stay in hostels etc and used this as our last stop with some luxury. I did not expect that at all. I booked a room with a double bed.

The nearest airport is Faro Airport, 7 km from 1977.
7.5 Good
Pros: The quality of the fixtures, doors, bathrooms etc was good.there were two bathrooms for four rooms on first floor, both had showers and toilets and very clean and modern. I had a simply furnished single room, no 4. It was good to have a small shared balcony with the room next door. There is a communal kitchen with utensils and a dining table, in addition to a large fridge. There is a lounge with a few chairs and bean bags and another balcony.
Cons: The only real problem was noise at night. Claudia did let me know there might be some noise and they provided ear plugs in the room. The first night I was woken up at 3:30am and about 2am the second night. Luckily it only last half an hour or so each time. Unfortunately it is nothing the 1977 can influence as it seems to be the noise of people leaving clubs nearby. The doors are double glazed and it does make it better, but I did like to have some air coming in. I would have liked a TV, but at the price it was good value. The area is a bit run down, but it is close to restaurants and the bus, coach and train stations, in addition to centre and waterfront.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely newly decorated pension at a fantastic location. Fast wifi nice rooms kitchen. Thank u claudia
8.8 Excellent
Pros: How central this room was. Claudia is an excellent host and received me very well. Helped me in everything she could.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Really cool place - brand new, absolutelly clean, comfortable and stylish. Very pleasant owner, she helped us as much as she can. Cool location - 2 min from heart of the city.
Cons: A bit loud door locks. You can hear other customer open/close door.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast, thought-out design, good location and extremely friendly and helpful host!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything was clean and tidy. Jason, the manager, is a very nice person, willing to make the best out of your stay in Faro. He recomends lots of good places, the best of which, by far, is Avenda restaurant. The hotel has its own personal charm, with the big lemon tree in the tiny garden. In general, I would recomend it. But I wouldn't stay more than one night in Faro.
Cons: Our room was a very small one, properly named "squeezed". The bathroom was separated from the rest of the tiny room by a glass sliding door...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lemon tree made our stay simply amazing! We didn’t even expect how good it was going to be. The personnel was so nice with us, thank you so much Jason! We could notice that people working here have passion to what they are doing. Rooms were very clean, very new and had a great design. Breakfast is just exceptional ( lemon cake and homemade jams are a must!). Every detail in Lemon Tree is made with love. Very recommended !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were met by a staff member to access a local underground car park. Prior to arriving we had very helpful messages from staff to help us find the location. On arriving through a yellow door we were met by a staff member to check us in. Initially we were advised the room was not ready but it was when we arrived. Through the yellow door there was a lovely lemon tree surrounded by tables and chairs. There was a kitchen area well stocked on an honesty basis. This is where the very good breakfast was served. The room was very quaint yet comfortable. It had two small rooms and well equipped, including mosquito screens over the windows. Our room overlooked a street. Overall a really good experience
Cons: As with most Spanish hotels no English TV channels. although not a problem to us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Hotel in the City Center with nice rooms and friendly and helpful staff!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly personal and really good advises for some leisure activities and restaurants.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location was good. We had reserved parking (€15/day) and on arrival we were given an access card for a nearby underground car park. The first two floor of this were very busy (and had tight spaces), but the '-3' level was quiet. You cannot park directly outside the hotel entrance and its in a no-though-road, so it is easier to park in a nearby square on arrival. We had a 'small double' and it was quite small (eg no bedside table space) but nicely appointed - comfortable bed, towels etc. Wifi worked OK. Breakfast was good (started at 8am). There was space in the lobby to sit and a kitchen to make coffee or heat up food.

With a stay at Alameda Garden, you'll be centrally located in Faro, just a 4-minute walk from Ria Formosa Natural Park and 12 minutes by foot from Carmo Church. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good location - Friendly staff - free breakfast bread rolls/croissants on one morning - Kitchen with free eapresso coffee, cereals, yogurt - comfortable bathroom - Sea umbrella and towels
Cons: Check in could have been better - Welcoming could have been better (we were only asked how many baggages we have to store until check in arrives, no questions about our booking, trip, any suggestions for our trip or any checking of any questions we might have as tourists to Faro
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, excellent rooftop bar and restaurant in the accommodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient, clean, nice and spacious and close to centre.
Cons: All good
7.0 Good
Pros: Alameda Garden is a family apartment refurbished into a touristic apartment/hostel. That means the kitchen and living room of the family house is shared among the guests. The house has 3 bedrooms, so I guess depending on the other guests you are sharing with, the overall experience will vary. We were lucky and barely noticed the other guests. Beyond that, the property was clean and the facilities in good condition. Free parking nearby.
Cons: As this is a family house refurbished into a touristic apartment, the rooms are not particularly big. But the main problem is the noise. The house is located in a busy street, so there was quite some noise from cars, waste management trucks, and kids going to school very early in the morning.
6.3 Good
Cons: The house is a clean and beds comfortable.however it's far from beach and marina too is 10 min walking away. Shared kitchen is nice .

8.9 Excellent (536 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at WAX Hostel in Faro (Praia de Faro), you'll be 1 minutes by foot from Ria Formosa Natural Park. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice moment during my stay ! Lovely place and amazing sight ! I was really surprised, everything was literally as I could imagine. Calm and cozy all what I need. I will recommend this place.
Cons: I asked some questions when I booked but I haven no answers.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The Hostel faces the river/lagoon with a view across the marshes to the Airport and town. The associated restaurant/snack/bar bar is the other side of the road on the beach and faces out to sea. It was amazingly peaceful sitting on the Hostel terrace looking out even with the noise of the planes taking off in the distance. We had the 4 person room for the two of us. Small but perfect for our needs. Really comfortable beds, phone/usb charging points and a little private bathroom. Our stay was off season so no breakfast option (off season the restaurant/snack/bar doesn't open until 11h00). It was not a problem as there is a small general store 5 mins walk away (near the water tower) where we could buy some things to eat on the Hostel terrace watching the Spoonbills, Egrets, etc feeding on the river banks.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The terrace next to the sea is amazing. And just on the other side of the street is a restaurant that belongs to the hostel as well, with an amazing terrace at the beach too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is absolutely gorgeous one side across the road is the beach and other side is the backwaters. The breakfast is perfect and the best. The bus stop is just a 7-8m walk away and the ferry stop 10m walk away.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beds changed and room cleaned everyday. Nice breakfast
Cons: Not great pressure in the showers
7.0 Good
Pros: The cleaner Suzanne kept the place so clean. She was lovely and so freindly even though she spoke little English. The hostel was spotless. Beds very comfortable and easy access to bed side lamps and charger for phone. View out on the Bay was lovely and balcony area was very spacious with places to sit and eat.
Cons: The staff were not very freindly. Very rarely did they smile at me or know my name even though I booked in for 8 days. Only Suzanne the cleaner remembered my name

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing!
Cons: Not really suitable for 3 persons in one room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was amazing, easy access, the style is lovely and the shower is so, so nice! Love the hammocks outside the room, the swing, the pool and generally a really lovely place to chill.
Cons: The walls between rooms are a little thin, they didn't have the option of twin beds which would have been more comfortable sleeping with a teenage son and the check in person didn't explain the wifi password.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Converted, modern farmhouse, tastefully done, great hosts and great food.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a very unique place with a beautiful, well thought building, that is meant to open to the stunning outdoor garden. The rooms are on purpose small, but comfortable. Everything is brought down to minimal necessities inside the room, however there are numerous places and ways to relax outdoors, by the pool, terraces and different sun loungers. There is an honesty bar with every possible drink available and cocktail ingredients that you can prepare yourself. The location is very tranquil, with beautiful views and amazing sunsets from the terraces above. We had dinner one night and it was extremely tasty, Nuno is an incredible cook. He also prepares breakfast, which was to a very high standard as well. As a couple of architects, this was ideal for us and we’re going to come back for sure.
Cons: There is “Free Check in” between 3 and 7pm, which is not made very clear until couple of days before. This created a bit of a confusion for us. The small rooms can get a bit stuffy, but the AC or natural ventilation seemed to have sorted that easily. The dinner was lovely but slighy overpriced, compared to the other restaurants in the region.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The design of the property and the view over Ria Formosa you can see from the roof. Do not miss the dinner - they offer typical regional food with a modern touch. The place is also very clean. Breakfast is the best we had in Algarve.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: AMAZING breakfast. Interior and surroundings. So peaceful and so beautiful.
Cons: Def need a car if staying there. Not much around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Casa Modesta is the perfect getaway. I have found that most places that are nice in photos are only OK in person but not Casa Modesta. The team there is genuinely amazing and the design of the spaces did not cease to amaze me. I would have to say the shower is the highlight!
Cons: Nothing -- it was perfect.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The personal was extremely friendly and helpful
6.3 Good
Pros: Estoi is a quiet little village...if you are looking for peace & quiet, it's pretty quiet here. Katerina was kind & helpful. The honour bar is a nice touch.
Cons: Listed as a 4*, it fell short of expectations. Based on other places we stay in Portugal, it's a 2* at best. The rooms are simple & clean however furnishings need some TLC (water ring damage on table tops). Katerina needs more staff to ensure the exterior areas are better maintained (i.e. pool should be cleaned daily, patios & stairs should be swept daily but did not appear to be swept at all during our 3 day stay). And, PLEASE, don't ruin that lovely fresh squeezed orange juice with ice cubes!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything from the enthusiastic welcome and tour by the housekeeper, to the superb breakfast- fresh figs, plums and grapes, smoked ham, freshly cooked eggs, lovely pastries and coffee with hot milk. The property is an historical treasure, but not gloomy. A fabulous hotel experience
Cons: The lower ground rooms smelt a little fusty
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice welcome, and very interesting property. Excellent breakfast semi outdoors in interesting setting.
Cons: Pool was a little down at heel, Spaces for breakfast limited and as we were not the first entailed a little wait.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the beautiful and unique building. We were only there 1 night so didn't have a chance to enjoy the pool or the patio on our room. Loved that their was an honour bar - great idea! Also had a game of billiards. We liked the setting in Estoi - close enough to Faro but in a pretty and quiet village. Cute little square right outside the hotel where we relaxed with a drink in the afternoon sun at the small local restaurant. We had to leave very early before breakfast was being served but they were kind enough to pack us a few things as a take - away.
Cons: When we first time on the air conditioning in our room, there was quite a musty unpleasant smell which seemed to eventually go away once it ran for awhile. That was the only thing that was a little off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Building, breakfast was wonderful, a real slice of the real Portugal
8.8 Excellent
Pros: What I liked the most was the Inn Keeper, Catarina, welcoming, friendly and passionate about her job and property! The tour of the property felt like you were visiting a museum, rich in history and charm. Breakfast was delicious and Catarina will prepare cooked to order eggs to go with the lovely breakfast spread.
Cons: The location was more remote than I anticipated, the town is very, very small but it also had its charm. The mattress was a little firm for my taste.
6.7 Good
Pros: The breakfast was very good. The hostess extremely friendly and helpful.
Cons: The terrace is badly in need of renovation and the photos are not really an accurate representation. The property overall is in need of an upgrade. However, the price for the accommodation is very reasonable.

Pros: Very friendly hostess Catharina! Good breakfast, excellent shower, convenient to get there from the airport. All good!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Steeped in history. We got the back story about the house and the family of own it. We also got a tour of the house by the lovely Katrina, lovely lady. It was like a museum of sorts. Loved it.
Cons: I didn’t get to stay longer!

5.0 Okay
Pros: Amazing location around the corner from the bus station and train station. Lots of bars and the marina within walking distance. Lady who let us in and makes breakfast was very friendly. Beds were comfortable and wifi connection was good.
Cons: Management that checks messages and the person who greets people don't communicate that well, so make sure your final arrival time is sent to them a couple of days in advance. Room is very basic (just beds and no art etc.); would be depressing to stay more than 1 night.
6.7 Good
Pros: Very nice and helpful staff. Good location (close to bus and train station and marina). Sunny terrace upstairs.
Cons: Comfort was definitely insufficient for the price paid. Furniture looked like second-handed. No real beds (mattresses laid on wooden pallets). No air conditioning (summer in the south of Portugal!!!). Breakfast very modest (a roll, cheese, yoghurt - same all days).
1.0 Poor
Cons: Wow , well it has been a month now after my holiday in Spain ( had this crazy idea to spend 24h in Portugal for my birthday) AND -NOT- STAY - in the hostel . CAUSE I WAS ASKED TO LEAVE DUE BAD BEHAVIOR 21:30 PM IN A EVENING WITH MY GIRLFRIEND ... Take note this is our experience and when you arrive late, be really sorry;) THIS experience is a first in my whole life ( I have been a backpacker in Australia and Asia, Europe ) What happened was we were about 2 hours late to our check- in time. Also we rang the doorbell about 30 min. NO ANSWER. Soon started calling (the given nr besides doorbell )cause no answer for doorbell. ( the number was unreadable and street was dark and it had cockroaches) Finding a parking place took as about 20 min itself. It says the check in is until 10 pm, we were there 9 pm. The reception lady tough we'd give up ringing the doorbell at one point but I had already drove about 700 km this day so we were super tired and we paid advance for the room. I had been the one driving. Only thing we were thinking was bed and pizza we had. So she lifted her head from roof said HELLO ! and I said : WTF ? OPEN THE DOOR? She comes down opens door- leaves door open the hole time- she wanted us to leave straight away, cause she had been waiting for us 2h... I apologized and said its been a long day and all I want is food and bed ,Im super tired. She offered to give me 50 euros back- that she wants us gone... That my behavior is unacceptable .. Then she said that : Oh i rly cant give it back to you , I don't work for booking. We left and looked for a new place- I cannot check my self in.. can i . Super sorry you had to wait on balcony chilling around ;) I paid for that comment 50 eurost- cause nobody gave me a refund ... ( did try to contact the owner next day, wrote complait ect. ) The other hotel host 80 euros and we really happy we got the last room in the middle of the night with amazing service and very good breakfast and coffee.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely property, very nice host, good breakfast. Excellent location both for sightseeing and to catch the bus to the airport.
Cons: As it is an older building, you can unfortunately hear other guests quite a lot (plumbing, doors...).

6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast has lot of variety. The bed was very comfortable. To visit Faro everything is at walking distance. By car is easily reachable and 10min drive to Faro airport.
Cons: It did not look like a 4 star hotel. There were black moisture marks in the bathroom. The isolation of the windows was not enough for the busy and noisy road close to it.
7.0 Good
Pros: Stayed here for 4 nights for work. Had a beautiful room overlooking the marina - the views are truly wonderful! Most of the staff were wonderful and helpful. The location couldn't be better. The breakfast buffet was excellent - a great variety and all lovely and fresh. Great shower in the rooms.
Cons: My double room had 2 single beds pushed together, with nothing to hold them in place, and I had to get up many times each night to push them back together. The mattresses were extremely hard. The air conditioning was not very effective. I think there was construction very close by as my balcony was covered in a thick layer of dust/sawdust, and whenever I opened my balcony door my room also got a layer of dust. I got shouted at by a member of staff one morning for sitting at the wrong table at breakfast - apparently it was reserved but there was no reservation sign indicating so and after being shouted at, I saw the staff then place a reservation sign.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was awesome. View was great. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room was spotless
Cons: Bed was on the hard side. But it was fine for me
9.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: All staff Very friendly and helpful. Very clean, modern and comfortable hotel in an excellent location.
Cons: Everything was very good,
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean & ready when we arrived mid-afternoon. The only issue was with the safe: maintenance agreed the instructions were not correct. On calling them a 2nd time we decided not to use the safe. All the staff spoke good English & were very keen to help.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Well located hotel with lovely view across the marina. Rooms were sparkling clean, standard hotel rooms. Lovely pool area on the roof and good breakfast included.
Cons: Our room on the first floor was above the gym, so it could be quite noisy with music and people pounding on the treadmills.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Staff were really great, location was good, beds were reasonably comfortable although it was two singles and as we'd just got engaged we wanted a double.
Cons: Wifi didn't work, beds were crammed in- and there were three, when we only needed the one double- room service selection was really poor, facilities were ok but the pool was absolutely freezing, shower leaked everywhere and the bathroom grouting had mould growing on it, room temperature control didn't work so on a hot day was pouring out hot air into the room...to say it was a four star hotel it has two star qualities. Be glad the staff are fantastic because the rest of it was really poor. Would definitely never go back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, very clean, excellent staff on reception and around the hotel, always polite and friendly. Great breakfast! Made us very welcome on our first trip and we will definitely be back here to stay again
Cons: Nothing to dislike

Pros: Very nice room (double bed + single) with plenty of space. B&B is located in a nice location between parking, Old Faro and Downtown area with shops and restaurants. Breakfast is a nice surprise with fresh fruits and pancakes.
Cons: Faro itself was not that lively in October, especially on a Sunday.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very close to a big free public parking lot. Only short walk to town ceter.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location near the old city wall. Short distances to all the nearby attractions of Faro. Nice notes for sightseeing. The renovation of the terrace just under way, the good breakfast on the roof, however, still lessened. Accommodation simple but nice. Wifi good usable. Flexible on departure, we were able to use the terrace until the afternoon. Thanks.
7.1 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable, we slept really well! The receptionists were really helpful. We had to leave early the following morning and missed the breakfast slot but they made us a package to go with croissants, biscuits, juice boxes etc. (which we actually more than the toastie offered at normal breakfast time!)
Cons: We didn't know in advance that we would have to share a bathroom with the whole floor. There are only two toilets and two showers in the entire bnb...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the room the location, the staff, it was all perfect. The showers were clean and with hot water. The breakfast was the unexpected welcome surprise loved all the effort that the staff put in to it. Absolutely delicious. Thanks guys! I will definitely be recommending you to friends around the world.
Cons: It’s not that I didn’t like it it’s more of a suggestion but maybe ask if visitors have allergies before serving breakfast. But it’s just a suggestion.

5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was great, the common areas well equiped and comfortable. The staff was friendly.
Cons: Rooms are too small for the amount of beds so its hard to find a place for bags. Bunk beds unstable and moving a lot during the night. There was no curtains on the window so I had the street lights straight on the face during the night. One shower should je fixed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Common area/living room is amazing. Feels like home. Kitchen is okay to cook but not very well equipped. Hostel seemed really clean although the building is quite old.
Cons: The dorm was really small and the beds extremely noisy. No space for backpacks on the floor. Only very small lockers

Pros: Excellent breakfast, lovely, friendly, professional staff. Very clean and well situated.
Cons: Our room, which was facing the courtyard, was very dark, even with all the lights on.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location and staff are wonderful. Clean and bright rooms. Breakfast was really nice. We had a good time in Faro. Would stay here again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very spacious compared to the usual city centre hotels. Location of the hotel was excellent for access to restaurants, tourist attractions, railway and bus stations.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit of a hit or miss. The hot foods were not replenished on a regular basis, nor were the fruit juices.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Really convenient location, near the marina, bus station and railway station though on a quiet street. Good little restaurant on the ground floor with a complimentary bottle of wine for hotel guests. Comfortable bed, good shower. Good breakfast.
Cons: The reception area is very small and there is no common space other than the restaurant - not really a problem for us. A small point -- suggest the hotel buys at least one more toaster for breakfast time as this was a bottle neck in getting breakfast. The view from our room was of a wall.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Position, right in the center of Faro.
Cons: It is not at all a Boutique hotel, not what you expect to be. It is shabby, rooms are really dark and don’t look clean and fresh, and they are not. Breakfast was served in the “restaurant” where Portuguese men were standing at the bar talking, and the only waitress seems to be there from the night before. Bowls for breakfast where broken, and didn’t look nice, not what you expect under the name of “boutique hotel”. Quantity and variety of food at breakfast was anyway good. Rooms were very noisy all night long till the early morning, as people were standing right outside the bar and restaurant making a lot of noise, talking very loud, screaming etc as many of them were for sure drunk.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent for exploring Faro. Rooms with spotlessly clean and the evening meal that we had in the restaurant was really good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the spacious room, the cleanliness, the Food and the friendly helpful smiling staff.
Cons: There was Nothing to dislike.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful, great location. Breakfast and dinner.
Cons: Too dark the room. Not enough lights.
