Pros: Breakfast was delicious and the surroundings were terrific!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was shocked when we arrived. I had simply looked for a centrally located B & B with high scores and booked their last room. When we arrived we were shown the Adobe - essentially a casita with a fireplace and private patio area. It was beautiful, very peaceful, and far, FAR beyond what I expected. The gardens were also lovely, and the breakfast we enjoyed was beyond any I have eaten at a B & B or hotel before. I will absolutely come back!
Cons: The only downside of the location is proximity to the road. We could not see the traffic, but we could hear it.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent! The breakfast is very good. It's a beautiful peppery!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was quite large and had a couch as well as a bed. The bed was a bit soft for my taste. But the woman who checked us in was just delightful and since we had missed afternoon tea, she brought us a plate full of sweet goodies to either enjoy while we stayed there or she encouraged us to take the rest of them with us. The breakfast was also very nice. And the location can’t be beat.
Cons: While we didn’t bring our golden retriever this time, she is a well-trained older golden and is certified as a therapy dog. I was very sad to discover that this place does not accept pets. We would like to bring our dog with us the next time we come to Taos and Santa Fe, and we’re hoping to stay at this bed-and-breakfast. But we will have to look for a different place if we want Kali to come with us.

Pros: Lauren, the fabulous concierge, welcomed us like we were coming home. We stayed in the Iconic room and it was private and tucked in behind two giant cottonwoods. The room was historic but contemporary and clean. The property was secluded in a residential neighborhood, enclosed by a wall, giving it the feel of a European inn. We had breakfast served to us on our private patio and it was delicious. Guests can utilize the amenities of the El Monte Sagrada resort but the Marquesa gives a boutique hotel experience. We particularly enjoyed the grotto pool, walking the vast grounds, and the Anaconda Bar at the Sagrado. Palacio Marquesa is now our go to place when we visit Taos. Very romantic, too!

Cons: My wife and I had an excellent stay. The place was very clean and larger than we expected with an extra family room. The breakfast was very good (French Toast, Bacon, assorted fruits, excellent coffee, and a nice blended juice drink). It is in a good location for visiting Taos. Just off the main road as you are entering town. They sat down with us as we were checking in and recommended some good places for dinner and suggestions on what we should see and do while in Taos and on our drive to Durango. If we ever come back to Taos I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: There is so many good things to say about this place. The staff is absolutely incredible, some of the friendliest people ive ever met. Jack was great, he is a truly genuine guy who loves what he does. Patrick does an excellent job making sure that things go as smoothly as possible. The trailers are are amazing, themed to each trailers personality and background. From wonderful vintage trailers, and fantastic staff, to the campfires under the night sky. This place is truly surreal and memorable. By far the best hotel i have ever been to, and thats not an understatement. So dont just take my word for it. Go check it out yourself.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The concept is brilliant... repurposing mid century trailers as ‘hotel rooms’ and then planting them in the open facing the mountain sunrise is perfect!

6.3 Good
Pros: The staff was nice and in the summer would be a better property
Cons: Location was far from town with nothing besides a brewery close by that on the day we stayed closed early. Could be a fun place in summer when there is more going on. Pretty rustic
7.0 Good
Pros: We liked the novelty, and the view. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the trailer was appointed with everything we might need.
Cons: The accommodations were a bit tight for three adults. Plenty of room in the beds, but moving around was very tight. The converting bed in the eating area was not very comfortable and needed thicker padding. Three lights didn't work, including the bathroom light. Bathroom was very small and hard to maneuver in. Biggest problem was A/C unit that needed servicing and had to be frequently turned off to allow to cool in dealing with the extreme heat of the July weather.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So cute and quirky!! Such a unique experience and fun to go hear live music at the brewery

Pros: Comfortable, close to the plaza. Quiet. Liked the patio up front and outside our room. Great bar food.
Cons: No place to get ice????
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It was right near the plaza. It had a nice bar with entertainment.
Cons: Parking lot was a long way from the room. The food in the restaurant was terrible and way overpriced .
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Did not have breakfast - restaurant not serving. Staff recommended restaurant was excellent. Michaels was great - what pastries!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is a block from the Plaza. Stayed in Room 121 which is a twin bed with small sitting area. Overlooks the street and the patio bar. The hallway/balcony overlooks the lobby with the nightly entertainment. LOVE IT! Had a table overlooking the lobby in order to enjoy the entertainment, to eat breakfast, etc. Some people would not like the street noise as is the main road thru town. Did not bother us. There is ample free parking next to the hotel. In the back are larger (and family) rooms alongside green courtyards. Not a bad room anywhere! Just need to be aware of the nightly lobby entertainment (and dancing) from approx. 6:30 to 9:30. Be aware also that food served in the bar comes in large quantities. Nachos are enough for no fewer than 4 people.
Cons: No elevator (at our age). But ask the desk clerk and they will cheerfully carry your bags from your car. Really does not bother us that there wasn't an elevator. I mean this IS a "historic" hotel. We just need to shape up. The free coffee, etc., bar in the morning needs to be expanded to include packaged hot chocolate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! We loved the location! We loved the room which was very warm and inviting. This room was very clean and air conditioning worked well. The staff were very professional, friendly, and extremely accommodating!
Cons: Nothing!

Cons: All good

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Old and charming. Historical giving a feeling of historical New amoxicillin.
Cons: N/A. Great stay!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. Building historic. Terrific friendly staff.
Cons: Room quite small, but is an older hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room, the lobby and everything else are characterized by New Mexican furniture and decor - rustic but comfortable and attractive. The staff were all very friendly, and the location on the Plaza is unbeatable. There are no food options (other than a coffee shop that serves pastries and Starbucks coffee), but there are numerous places to eat within easy walking distance.
7.5 Good
Pros: “Location and quiet room, Appreciated all the bathroom amenities!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely historic building right on the plaza. Restaurants and shopping easily available. Room was spotless! Ours overlooked the plaza which was an added bonus. Front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Morning coffee was delicious! We plan on returning to spend more time in Taos and will definitely stay here again.
Cons: Easily accessible parking was an extra charge, even though it appeared to be Hotel property. It was only $6/day, so no big deal. Room temperature is controlled by front desk but this wasn’t an issue for us.
6.3 Good
Pros: Hotel seemed like it just couldn't seem to get the place in excellent condition. Grout in bathroom was cracked, stained, and had poorly done patches. A round 15 inch toilet is unacceptable. The internet seemed to work well, and we were able to do what we wanted on line. Rooms could contain more useful information, such as reversing the ceiling fans
Cons: Ceiling repairs were poorly executed. There are demonstrations of promotion, but if this place cant get a few million in renovation capital, they will fail soon, barring a huge potential value of arts collection.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so helpful and attentive, we asked to check in early due to a mid-afternoon wedding we were attending on the day we arrived, and they went out of their way to accommodate us and called us to let us know we could check in 3 hours early. The room was very nice, cozy, not cramped. Loads of blankets, pillows and towels for the three of us.
Cons: Unfortunately, there is no food on-site at the hotel, other than breakfast pastries in the coffee shop. That is really the only downside of the hotel, in my opinion. I understand they are looking for someone to fill their restaurant space, so fingers crossed that happens sooner than later. There are many, many restaurants surrounding the hotel which makes it easy.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was what makes this hotel.
Cons: Could use some renovation.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Charming. Great location. Interesting artwork.
Cons: We could hear a lot of footsteps early coming from the top floor above our head.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: for us location. we like the restaurants in the area(off the plazza) and we like to visit the pueblo. the hotel staff both times we have stayed have been very nice and helpful.
Cons: not sure there is anything we don't like . it would be nice if there was a discount for those that return to stay again. a gesture of appreciation.
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff was very good and location excellent
Cons: I thought the price was high for the quality of the hotel, the room furnishings, and amenities for the Taos market. It is not a good value. The evaporative coolers were too noisy and we had no control over cooling. Bathroom needed pull/safety bars.
7.0 Good
Pros: Great location in the square.
Cons: Old and very expensive

Pros: The place was exceptionally clean. It had a great shower, washer and dryer.
Cons: Just needed a few more wash cloths. We are a family of five and only had 4 wash cloths.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was as the pictures showed, nicely decorated, clean, comfort beds and fully stocked kitchen (we cooked and eat in every night) Mr. Vernon was very informative and welcoming. A very great host!
Cons: Two minor issues/surprises: flies due to the warm weather (not the property fault), Mr. Vernon informed us about the issue at check-in and was there to vacuum our little visitors daily. No major distraction for us. Wifi - very unstable, only work odd hours (mid-night till about 5-6am)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Vernon the manager was very welcoming and offered us a great welcome packet and bottle of wine. Great customer service!
Cons: The master bed was too high and my elderly mother was unable to sleep on the bed so had to sleep on sofa and adult son on the cot
9.3 Excellent
Pros: What a gem, wish we could book this place at all of our future destinations. We packed too light but the townhouse had everything- exceeded our expectations. After a long drive in there was a fire and chilled bottle of wine waiting for us. Their service was superb. I just wanted to stay there the whole trip.
Cons: Wish we had booked an extra night or 2.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love the hospitality, from the moment we came in we felt being in a home. We like that everything was explained upfront, the do's and don't. It is our first stay in Taos and we were given sufficient info of places to go and dine. We have a good view of the mountain, the house is very clean. It is a great colleague place for families. Everything was also convenient up until we left.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was what we wanted, because it was just outside Taos. This property is well maintained. The operators are very accommodating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and comfort
Cons: Great hotel, GREAT location. Hotel was stocked with everything you will need for your stay even a great bottle of local wine chilling for your arrival. Vernon was a fantastic host. We Will be back.....loved this place1
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional services, thank you Vernon for going the extra mile for the personal service, i.e. the home made fudge, Christmas music playing, fire place burning to make us feel welcome and at home. Also for double checking on our arrival to make sure all was ready for us!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Peaceful and beautiful grounds.
Cons: No
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a great resort and we have enjoyed all of our stays there.
Cons: The lighting in our room was terrible! There was no light in the entryway, only one of the nightstands had a reading lamp, and the one lamp that was on a nightstand was so tall you could not turn it on or off without getting out of bed. This was really quite surprising. But what do we really have to complain about if we can afford to stay in such a wonderful destination spot??? We are blessed....
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Setting was beautiful.
Cons: Spa was rather expensive.
7.0 Good
Pros: Property is beautiful. Room nice. Restaurant and bar nice. Spa out of this world.
Cons: Front desk staff very rude. One woman said that it wasn’t her job to figure out what was delaying checking in. Many guests were waiting. The front desk although lovely is not organized efficiently. Kudos to Maude on check out who apologized and was very nice.
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved how close to historic down town they are yet with a woodsy/ nature like feel. Loved the size of the tub (takes 30 min to fill half way). Valet was extremely friendly. Great indoor pool area.
Cons: Did not like the limited parking available when they are having functions at the hotel. At night the property grounds is very dark due to lights burned out or just no bulb put in. Rooms were very dusty, provided 1 bathrobe in one room and 0 in the other. Found trash, food, toys, medication under the edge of the bed. Cabinet doors obviously broken off and not fixed. Paint peeling/ falling off ceiling.
6.8 Good
Pros: Nice room, good location
Cons: Very expensive- not worth the price since we were not there to use the gym and spa facilities
5.8 Okay

Pros: Love Marina and the space for breakfast.
Cons: We had stayed before and this time, the reason we came, the path, was closed and full of car noise. I hope the new fence is privacy and the oasis that this little place was will return. Otherwise, we might not.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a bucolic inn a couple of miles east of the plaza. Far enough away to be calm and quiet, but close enough to be very convenient. Stayed in a lovely room with a real wood-burning kiva fireplace (with firewood and matches) and a balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The facility itself was very nice. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great! Sat outside by the pool and listened to the birds while eating breakfast. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Taos.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Run by local people. Great atmosphere. Local artists used in decor. Very clean, cozy and comfortable.
Cons: We thought we would not like that the room wasn’t air conditioned but we never needed it. Hot tub could have been cleaner.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location was the best part. The owners were as nice as could be. Once the hot water reached the room it was super hot.
Cons: Start with the parking lot. You needed a 4x4 or SUV to get out of the parking lot. No refrigerated air conditioning, no ceiling fan, one 12” oscillating fan. Only two (2) prong electrical sockets in the walls (except one) and the cords/male plugs kept falling out of the sockets. The bed felt like I was sleeping on sheet rock on top of plywood. Walls are thin too.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Robert and Jules are wonderful people Who made us feel at home ;)
6.8 Good
Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: No air conditioning, no in room coffee
6.8 Good
Cons: the property was dated, I thought it have more updated but that would lose its charm to some. very clean and neat and I would recommend to friends that like a older motel. Leaving the property was risky at both end if you left from main entrance could not see well, need to cut bushes back for safety, the exit was hard on any car leaving, needs to be fixed.
