$15 for 'resort fee'. All hotels have swimming pools and fitness centers at no cost, but all facilities beyond that at this hotel are at an additional cost to the guest. So you get absolutely nothing for these fees, just a nice way for them to mask their intended per night cost.
It was affordable and great location
The casino and things to do are outdated
I enjoyed the casino. Cocktail waitresses were attentive and I won some money!!! Also the woman at the front desk asked if we wanted a lower level or higher level room so we got to stay on the 24th floor with a great view.
The mattress wasn't very comfortable
Room close to elevator, quick check in beautiful view ..............................................................
Got I'll from Room service, when to fill out. A report of the illness and was treated like a criminal. No one was sympathetic to the situation. It seemed like I was lying. Food and beverage manager continued to insist that out of all the burgers I was the only oNE who complain ed or got sick...will not go back.
We got our room for $49/night which was perfect for us. We only needed a place to sleep b/c we were traveling for business. This isn't IS NOT a luxurious place by any means. It is very basic and outdated. Dont arrive with high expectations. The beds were comfortable and that's pretty important. The shower did clog though so.
Many restorans, bars, coffee shops, location very good, vew, etc
It was close to the event we were going to
That every time we book a room w/ a king bed w/ them, we always end up w/ 2 doubles. I had to upgrade to get a king bed an pay more than I already did.
Room was 36/night Online. once we reserved the room it was over 100$ for two nights. By the time we checked in it was 124$ for two nights. the lobby is on the other side of the building from the rooms. Which includes escalators and stairs. And/or a tram ride.
Centrally located, easy to walk throughout town.
Non-smoking rooms still had strong stale smoke smell, parking somewhat of a pain.
Peaceful on the top floor.
The restaurants were excellent in price and variety. The casino was clean and very inviting. For the most part the hotel was a great place to stay. I would stay again.
Upon arrival the front desk clerk was grouchy and not very friendly at all.
The view was amazing. Staff was very friendly. Spacious room and bathroom. Easy check out.
The bed was slanted.
The building needs updated. The mattresses looked like they hadn't be changed out for 10+ years as you could see the body impressions.
Awesome costumer service. My room was clean.
I didn't like that my night wasn't long. :) but not their fault
it was comfortable, much more so than the GSR in a homey-kind of way.
It was reasonably clean, but it didn't scream sanitized.
The casino staff were friendly the smokeing was to much for me.
The room was not clean the coffee pot had a weird substance in the watter reserve and crumbs on the floor. They didn't give us a great idea how to get to the room had to ask for help twice.
At check in I was given a choice of a high or low floor for our mini suite. The low choice was perfect on the 4th floor. Close enough to the new River Walk and to a Walgreens so we did not need to move the car for fun, entertainment, or to pick up something we forgot to pack. The food at the Americana Cafe was great, especially the breakfast. The staff treated us like we were high rollers in speech and action. I enjoyed the pampering. Check in/out was easy. A variety of choices, on your smart phone, on the TV, or in person. I checked out in person and was given the choice to keep the charge on my card or to change the payment. Very hospitable.
There was nothing of any consequence wrong with our mini suite. I would stay again.
The AC kept making loud noises. Other than that it was a nice place to stay
Excellent view or reno lights at night easy check in and check out with cleanish rooms
No fridge or microwave deffinetly bring ur own pillow a/c system works ok wierd noises from bathtub kind of keeps you up and sheets were tore in a couple spots with very minimal bedding
Bad quality very dirty
Price was good last minute booking
Can't understand being charged for a resort fee if there isnt a true resort. Check in was very slow. Hotel over all could really use a update
Love the casino, game room, restaurants.
I asked for a quiet room and we had loud noisy families on both sides of us. And one woke us up at 6 am. Not happy.
Room was very dirty. Torn sheets, food left in room, used bandaid in bath, Urine around tiolet, dirty grimy spots on floor:(
The view from the room was beautiful! The bedding was clean, the bathroom was clean. Tv was amazing.
There was dust all along the carpet up against the wall. There was a spot on the ceiling from water or a stain. The bed was not the best. The toilet wouldnt flush properly.
It is very fun my daughter loved it
We got back from skiing at around 11 pm. When we tried to go up the hotel elevator, the door opened with a trashy couple with the girl of her knees and guys pants half down. Im hoping my 6 and 4 yr old daughters didn't se anythinge. Very disturbing.
This place is cheap and might have been nice once upon a time.
This place is depressing and smells like a urinal cake.
Our kids loved the midway games, although the staff could have been friendlier.
The hotel is in desperate need of a remodel/update. The decor looked dated. I was surprised to see popcorn ceilings in my room. Many of the games around the hotel were inoperative. The room was a low point. The bathroom air vent was extremely dirty. The toilet paper roll was too far for a short arm to reach and the beds were very uncomfortable -- one of them had a significant divot that caused you to roll into the middle of the bed.
It was close to the street vibration ven u e. The oversized lot was gtrat for my trailer
Outdated rooms. Expensive food. Card key kept gokng bad and caused extra work tjust ti O access the room that I paid for.
The smoke! The whole situation was bad I will never bring my family here again.
I didn't like how we stood in line for an hour and a half to check in. While getting checked in, I'm told my room isn't available (King Bed non-smoking in the main building of the hotel) & that I would be getting a 2 standard bed room at the building across the skywalk. (we had just walked from that end of the hotel with all our luggage!! Then the clerk tells me that I needed to pay an extra $15 per night!! it was ridiculous!! she didn't empathize with my situation and had a "take it or leave it" attitude. When we got to our side of the hotel, there was another long line to the elevator just to go to our room! Finally when we got into our room, we had the most awful view with parked cars right outside our window (litteraly) we were next to the parking garage. The room was stink. It was very outdated. It was hell. So because I had already been charged the first night, I cancelled our next night.
