Pros. Location and cleanliness
Cons. Could hear every step on the room above us.
Pros. Front desk staff were wonderful. Room was lovely. The location atop the hill is beautiful and unique. The hotel itself is pretty and clean, food was decent. We loved visiting Roanoke, it was a great town and easy to get around. We would stay again.
Cons. We were not fans of the bartender. There was no warmth about her, and no attempt to engage us in conversation. Also, the hotel's pillows are way too soft and deflated. Dirty washcloth left in same place all 3 days of our stay.
