excellent location, 5min walk to the beach & cafes. great pool, rooms cleaned very well. nice balcony, nice views.
Pegasus was such a warm and friendly place to stay - the staff were amazing, couldnt do enough for you. Located in gorgeous Roda, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing chilled holiday.
The way that they value everybody and make them very welcome
great pool no air conditioned!!!!!!
Staff very friendly, helpful & spoke good English. Always sunbeds. Good location. Safe in room. Plenty of sockets Sunbeds uncomfortable. Basic breakfast food
A relaxing break, excellent staff and fantastic pool!
The stuff was very friendly, the pool was perfect for the kids The breakfast was exactly the same 9 days in a row, so maybe you can consider changing it from time to time.
The area (nice part of the island but not necessarily the resort and direct location) Poor price/quality ratio (paid even more than hotel's regular price list), the bathroom (uncomfortable, hot water unstable, no products), the beds (twin with separate covers instead of requested double), services (breakfast closing 9.30, reception keeping documents, cleaning not necessarily daily), location (at a road off beach), etc
That is a great hotel. Not expensive. Ideal for families. Super staff. Total recommendation/
the buffet breakfast was the poorest i have had anywhere in the world, the hotwater barely worked, the price was very high for what you get. i would never recommend anyone to stay here.
Room nice size, kept clean and with excellent view and in a good location - as expected. But would recommend that people book room only and pleased we didn't book half board We booked bed and breakfast - but the breakast was truely bad! The fruit juice was watered down, the bread did not taste fresh, the yogurt was watery, the choice was very limited etc. So poor in fact that we only ate breakfast at the hotel once - we elected to go to a local taverna and pay extra to have a really nice breakfast for only 5 euro's each
Amazing views Breakfast
Friendlines of staff. the fact that we could get B&B only. Food. Small pool with no showers. Snack bar 12-4 only.
Good location for our purposes, good value for money, friendly helpful staff Breakfasts were a bit predicttable and not particularly good
We very much appreciated the comfortable beds and the cleanliness of the room. The layout of the hotel was lovely and the pool was nice and clean. The sea side view was spetacular! The breakfasts - after trying the eggs we stuck with only toast and maybe some fruit when we did in fact have breakfast there. The stairs to the pool when wet were dangerous as they were slightly slanted downwards as well. I slipped on them and badly sprained an ankle.
The views were amazing. The food was hot and could eat as much as you wanted. The beds were very hard and the walls were paper thin... could hear everything from the other rooms.
The mostly I liked during my stay at the hotel is the location, staff very friendly and responsive, the entertainment organized by the Hotel for their guests. In this regard, it is worth to mention that despite the fact that my vacation were out of the main season, in September, the Hotel was fully booked, which mean that it offers quality of services clients need during their stay at hotels.
The view of Paleokatrista, the swimming pool, quiet hotel. Not enough chairs and umbrellas near the swimming pool. The restaurant make not a very good food, international dishes not greek specialities and not a lot of vegetable and fruits. The breakfast is simple, but the yogourt is special , liquid ( added with milk or eater ?)
The hotel is located in a quiet picturesque place with nice seaview. Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool and restaurant are also good. If you have a car, Ermones will definitely be one of the best places to stay and explore Corfu. As regards to Philoxenia, it offers the best quality for its price. The breakfast is good for its price, but if you stay there more than a week its diversity propably would not satisfy you.
Beautiful view of the bay. Clean, family run hotel, very welcoming and willing to accommodate needs of guests. Lovely colourful flowers displayed around the hotel.
Very nice view, quiet place, relaxing, with a lovely garden in front of the hotel
There are some renovated rooms with a very nice sea view. Also, the environment is quiet and peaceful The first 2 rooms offered did not match the description on the site, and only because I had the printed text of the booking where I specifically mentioned some conditions we received the accomodation as we expected
It is very old and dirty and the cleaning services are really not satisfying, even after our suggestion. The breakfast is very poor. The photos did not represent the true image of our room. The staff wasn't kind and didn't know how to help you.The beach is not as close as it looks and the sea at that point isn't the best.Είναι παλιό και αρκετά βρώμικο και οι υπηρεσίες καθαριότητας καθόλου ικανοποιητικές, ακόμα και μετά από παρατήρησή μας.Το πρωινό είναι πολύ φτωχό.Οι φωτογραφίες δεν είχαν καμμία σχέση με το δωμάτιό μας.Το προσωπικό δεν ήταν ευγενικό και δεν ήξερε πώς να σε εξυπηρετήσει (μονίμως ψάχναμε κάποιον υπεύθυνο).Η παραλία δεν είναι τόσο κοντά όσο φαίνεται και η θάλασσα δεν είναι και τόσο καλή.
Quite simply, Ninos on the beach is a great place to stay. Anyone considering staying here I hope the following prompts you to book. I had very good correspondance with Lindsay via e-mail from the beginning, even offering to arrange a taxi if we wanted. a family run hotel in a great location overlooking the sea, 7 mins walk from Roda. Nino, Lindsay, Danny and Elpida are perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming, and Elpidas laugh is infectious. The room is a good size, clean and tidy with basic kitchen facilities, air conditioning, fantastic. Regularly cleaned. Large clean swimming pool and well kept grounds, ample sunbeds. The food, some of the best in Roda and competetive prices. book if you want a great relaxing holiday
very good hotel central place
stunning views of the sea, sunset and mountains. right on the beach. lovely gardens, very clean. comfortable beds and pillows. wonderful family run hotel, Nino, Lindsey and danny make you feel very welcome. lovely food. cant wait to go back.
Ninos was the best place we have stayed in Roda It has everything you could wish for especially the pool. Food was excellent, staff friendly, it was quiet and relaxing and the added bonus was not having to fight for a sunbed. The triple room was really a double room with another bed in so was a little cramped.
very quiet, comfortable, clean, friendly staff, out of town, beach by hotel is not usable, out of town, room was very small and in the far corner of hotel so I did not have internet access in the room.
Location,Staff were friendly and helpful.
The owners and at the same time, management of the hotel were very friendly. They tried to help on each and every occasion. The rooms were not luxury or sth. The hotel has basic features but it is clean and tidy. I can say that I found just what I expected. But have to mention that if someone goes there with some sort of an expactation of staying in a luxury one, he / she would be disappointed. It is basic, clean. fair for the price but not luxury. One specific detail should be mentioned I believe. The location and the seashore of the hotel is absolutely the best on Corfu. However, if one does not travel with car or doesnt intend to hire one, the 25 kms distance between the city center and the hotel can create problem.
The location is excellent, the beach is on the other side of the road. Excellent view over the sea from the balcony. Rooms are big enough, clean, equipped with air-conditioning. We had halfboard: the breakfast is OK, however a bit boring to eat the same thing for a week (bit more choice for coldcut, cheese and packed yoghurt instead of yoghurt from a common dish would have been welcome). The dinner was a 3-course menu with 3 choices for each course, small portions, but the three course together enough to feel full. Extremely nice staff in the restaurant. Twice during the week there was a concert/karaoke in the restaurant, which of course was possible to hear in the rooms as well. However, in both cases they ended around midnight.
Located centrally in a small bay with beautiful views and restaurants below and to one side. Tours of the surrounding headlands by small boat are highly recommended in this very rewarding few days stays. Not long enough as I thought the place to be a real gem.
Location and views - right on the beach. Very nice staff and lovely restaurant. Also nice restaurants nearby. We were in the annexe. The shower was a bit of a pain to use - just a tray, no curtain or holder for the shower to attach to. The bathroom floor was wet as the water did not drain away easliy. We were only there 2 nights so was ok to cope with.
the view it was dirty
I found the location of the hotel and the surroundings excellent. The room was clean and tidy. The staff was pretty helpful.
We stayed just before the holiday season got going. We found the manager Craig excellent nothing was too much trouble. The accomoddation was basic but comfortable and the location excellent. We had a great break! The beds were rather hard and creaky
Actually two things amazed the most in the hotel: the location, right in front of the gourgeous beach of Palaiokastritsa, and the friendly staff, especially the ones in the bar and restaurant, which is by the way worthwhile to try very often during your stay in Corfu.
The owners were very helpful and friendly. Rooms are basic but clean. Close to the beach and restaurants. Many steps (with luggage) to get to sea view rooms.
Location. Friendliness and helpfulness of staff Steps. Malfunctioning tv and air conditioning.
Friendly hotel staff; very near to the beach; good quality of the food; excellent knowledge of English language of the staff;
The location of this hotel was great. Right on the beach with shops and restaurants on its doorstep. The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms had a lovely character about them. I think the bathrooms could be improved - they're a little old. Occasionally a smell would come up from the drain which was unpleasant and you also flood the whole bathroom when you take a shower. We would still go back though.
This is a family-owned hotel, runs by the family, and they are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is excellent, it's right next to the beach. Every hotel room has it's own individual air conditioning unit and a decent-sized fridge - pretty nice. We have been to other Greek islands and stayed in hotels there. The room here is somewhat small by comparison. Having said that, we think the room is adequate and it has bathroom, fridge, air conditioning, etc.
Good location next to a beautiful beach with great view. Friendly staff. Good restaurant with great breakfast. Typical european style bathroom.
Staying at the Zefiros hotel was the best choice we could make.Simple but tastefuly decorated - all white and clean. I travel with my sister and my mother and our budget was a little bit tight. The hotel offers really good value for money: The location is perfect as we don't drive. The hotel is located just in front of a nice beach although we prefered a more quiet one just two minutes away. In front of the hotel you can catch a bus to Corfu town and spend the day in the old town. The hotel is run by a family that owned it for two generations. Iren and Johny are extremely helpful and kind. I do recommend the food at the hotel! And the staff, specially Ashley, is so nice! We will come back.
Excellent value. Clean. Oustanding location and view. Superb staff. very firendly.
The owners and staff were extremely friendly and did their utmost to make our stay enjoyable; they bent over backwards to give us assistance should we need it and entertained us very well. The room was large, airy, well-decorated with good facilities. The hotel was charming in aspect and the food was excellent. The location could not be rivalled, situated right next to the beach in what has to be the most beautiful bay we have ever seen.
It was ok!
Everything was OK, though there was an overall feeling that the hotel wasn't ready to receive guests in that time of the year (first days of November).
Phivos was excellent value. I was welcomed by the friendly owner Andreas. I had a first floor room - very comfortable and well equipped. Highly recommended.
Studios in ideal location. Staff and owner so friendly. Lovely view from studio as requested. Studios and grounds etc kept spotlessly clean. Not many really! The beds are a little hard and the pillows a bit on the lumpy side, but you do get accustomed to these! The Shower/Wet Room could have done with a shower curtain, but maybe that's just a British thing! Kitchen area really needed a spare socket to plug the kettle in.
the location was perfect, short walk to the beach. the rooms were clean and the kitchen facility was perfect for light cooking. The owner of the hotel is very helpful. There is an internet facility in the camping site just two minutes walk from the hotel and the receptionist is very friendly and welcoming. I will go back and happily recommend this place to my friends and family.
It is a family business hotel with friendly and helpful owners. We had a villa with living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom and it was located in a quiet corner of the garden. There is a nice palmy terrace in front of the villa where you can rest and enjoy a coffee or a cold glass of beer. The breakfast is simple: coffee/tea, jam, butter, salami but you can order other dishes if you like.
Big and clean room. Services
closeness to the beach and walking area The breakfast was very meagre. Very poor. The hotel on the whole is pretty run down, even though the owners are contiually working on it.
Very good position in the country, very nice hotel with swimming pool, people of the hotel very nice
The location was perfect - it was as if the three beaches were the Hotel's own (despite them being quite busy). The bays were absolutely stunning, and there were all sorts of water based activities on offer without there being a loud and tacky atmosphere around them. The annex hotel itself was really good value for money. The rooms were clean and cleaned everyday, the air conditioning worked well, and it was useful to have a fridge in the room. The only complaint was the minor electric shocks in the shower caused by the build-up of static on the mountain when it gets too hot. Pace-maker carriers should be warned. The restaurant was the best value for money, and come to think of it, quality food we had around actually. The only complaint was the minor electric shocks in the shower caused by the build-up of static on the mountain when it gets too hot. Pace-maker carriers should be warned. The staff didn't think this would be a problem, I just hope they're right.
noisy air conditioner
Close to the beach and the main hotel...just around the corner. The beach is probably the nicest in Paleokastritsa, too. The room had a mouldy smell of dampness.
Location , Hotel Staff, Services/facilities are excellent. Next year I'll book again the same Hotell "Apollon annex" or Hotel Apollon!
Great value for the money, very friendly staff, rooms are cleaned on daily basis, the restaurant has great view to the most beautiful beach on the island.
