poor breakfeast staff rude
They was no irons allowed in rooms and pretty pricey for room service to iron clothes.
Perfect central location, nice historical building, well-equipped conference premises. Panoramic terrase-bar!
Improving the hotel front desk +restaurant staff management is evident! Most of the furniture is old and not well maintained, smells...No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Limited variety for breakfast in 5* hotel??? Hotel Airport transfer for 77 EUR, in front of the hotel Taxi piaza - transfer=40-48 EUR!!!
Location House keepers
Beds and mattress are very thin and Metal springs are felt. Pillows are like sand bags. Air conditions out let are very dirty. Drawers handles either broken or missing.
-Breakfast room was very beautiful. -Breakfast was enjoyable but not amazing, especially for the price. High price is to be expected in a “5star” place but it should have been better. -great location. Right in the Center of everything. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy to get to.
-It is not a 5 star and should not advertise itself as such, nor charge the prices that it charges. At first glance it is gorgeous but when you look a little closer you see that it is actually quite dirty. - overpriced for the quality of the stay. would have stayed somewhere much cheaper that was just as (un)comfortable and central if I had known. - the room was advertised as soundproof but it was incredibly loud. Could hear people in other rooms, in the hallway and music from the streets all night long. - the room was advertised as hypoallergenic but it definitely was not- there was dust everywhere, on the furniture , in the light fixtures. The room had old furniture in it. I was sneezing the entire time and broke out in hives. If you have allergies this is an important one to take note of. -advertised as coming with bathrobe and slippers but it didn’t. It’s something I can live without. But when it’s advertised and you pay the premium for a nice hotel, it’s annoying when it doesn’t actually have those perks. -advertised as having a sofa and minibar. It didn’t have a sofa and the minibar was so tiny that it couldn’t even fit a water bottle in it. - advertised as having a garden view. Total rubbish. The view was of the street and the wall of another hotel. This was really disappointing. -the service from the staff was very mixed. However one staff member left a bad taste in my mouth. I was standing outside the hotel and the doorman who had been sweeping the front door came over and swept at my feet like I was a piece of rubbish he wanted to get rid of. When he realised I was a guest after my husband exited the hotel he grimaced a “buongiorno” through clenched teeth. This really shocked me. We felt very unwelcome in this hotel and overall found it to be unpleasant and uncomfortable and not worth the money at all. I would not stay here again and I would never recommend it to anyone.
