Good bus service and friendly bus driver
Food market: It's not a market, it was very poor and prices was even higher than in centre of Rome. Restaurant/bar: Prices is same like in Rome centre but they don't know nothing about good food. Lasagne was horrible (worst lasagne in the world). And they added table fee and bread (I not ordered bread and I not touched bread too but still they ask money for bread). This service and food was not worth for table fee (no service fee = good service & good food. service fee means always bad food and bad service and this restaurant confirmed it again). Room: no toilet paper, bathroom radiator was cold (it was horrible cold in bathroom, and there was no place to dry your clothes), and room was dirty and of course nothing matched with pictures. :)

The Happy Village is located just outside Rome, only half an hour from Ciampino Airport. We were welcomed with english speaking staff who were very friendly. Our little bungalow was very sweet with only a 2 minute walk to the stylish and well priced restaurant and delightful pool. The food was the best we had in our whole weeks stay in Rome. I recommend the 1/4 jug of prosecco and scrumptious bucatini pasta dish! The other guests were from all over the world and the whole place had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. No need for a car at all - the shuttle bus was regular and the trains were cheap and quick. An ideal stay for a relaxed visit to the busy city of Rome. Perfect for romantic couples, families and the retired.

We loved the environment and the hospitabillity, very friendly and helpfull staff. The bungallow where we stayed was very warmy.
The only thing that we think could be improved is the schedule of the shuttle (from happy village to prima porta station), that would be great to be extended after 22 o'clock.

The staff was very kind and helpful.
The only thing I could mention here is: as the village is located far from the city centre there are a lot of people who want to take the village's own bus to get to the city, but it is very small, and the people have to wait an one hour if they miss due to not enough space. You should use a bigger bus to have all of your guests satisfied.

Happy village was the second camping villlage that we stayed in italy, and definitely more comfortable and cleaner than the first one. We liked the village.
Only disadvantage is its location, if you want to spend more time in Rome nights it is not the right choice.
