9.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location, extremely comfortable rooms. Great for families. Onsen was amazing
Cons: monorail to main facilities was a little slow and infrequent
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff and relaxing atmosphere
Cons: not the real ski in/out hotel, need to consume extra energy get to lift
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really good access to ski lifts and great ski lockers and onsen for guests. Fabulous comfy beds. Short walk to good local restaurants.
Cons: Its worth knowing that all the rooms are double story and the main bedroom is upstairs but there are no bathroom or toilet facilities on that level. Also the only breakfast option is an expensive buffet. Neither the coffee shop or room service do breakfast.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. 9.0 Excellent
Pros: It has a lot of attractions, ideal for families. There are cute musicians dogs and a talking tree that my daughter really enjoyed.
Cons: Restaurants are expensive, and no budget options for breakfasts unless you have a coupon or it is included.
7.0 Good
Pros: Excellent location
Cons: It was a bit dated - a bit Disneyish and in need of a complete makeover.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Child friendly. Onsen is lovely after a full day of skiing.
Cons: It felt very American with all the Disney inside the resort. Lot of walking inside the resort to get from you room to your ski locker, for breakfast, for diner, for anything. It was quite expensive. The restaurants are limited and so is the menu. We as Europeans are used to some "apres ski" for a drink and some music. This is not available. The slopes are very limited. It really has to powder to enjoy yourself off piste.
7.0 Good
Pros: We had breakfast at the German restaurant. Lots of choices. Easy access to the slopes. Having the ski locker near the exit to the slopes made it really easy to store the gear at the end of the day. The Onsen was wonderful!
Cons: There were five different restaurants were available for breakfast which was nice, however unless you walked place to place you were unable to see what they had which made it a bit difficult to choose with the kids. It would have been nice to have a brief summary on line of what they offered.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, right next to the ski slopes. You can ski to the lifts from the hotel! Amazing facilities: lots of shops, quirky amusements, fabulous nightly laser show, superb views of the mountain especially at night.
Cons: It was expensive!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: i didn't take breakfast, i like the facilities. Onsen pool is the best.
Cons: available period of Onsen should be available 24 hr.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was ideal for skiing. We were also able to rent equipment onsite and lockers were provided. There are several restaurants within the hotel to choose from.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms, nice breakfast. Great location close to slopes and next to 2 convenience stores, and restaurants.
Cons: Bath not hot at 4pm when it was said to be open.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Place was clean and tidy, close to the ski lifts and staff were awesome. Restaurant was also fantastic, with good mix of food to satisfy those missing there home comforts or experience local food.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was very clean, great atmosphere, the staff very helpful and attentive made us feel like we were at home, they always cared to our needs. The fact that the facilities were shared (a concerns of ours prior to our arrival) added to the experience, made us feel at home, moreso because everything was clean. We stayed in a traditional japanese room (tatami and foutons) and I must confess this was a great choice that we definitely do not regret. The location is located exceptionally close to the slopes (just across the road) and near convenience stores (Seicomart and a Seven Eleven)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. They provided cooked eggs and sausage/bacon
Cons: My son had difficulty sleeping on the tatami mat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great food, great staff, great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great spot, great room, great and helpful staff.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: WiFi connections were poor and unreliable and slow
Chise House - Rusutsu - Building
4
7.1 Good (112 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Chisehouse - Hostel in Rusutsu (Abuta), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Rusutsu Resort. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and microwave in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good service, amenable atmosphere. 2 supermarkets nearby. Buses from ski area stop nearby.
Cons: About 3km from ski area, too far to walk. Buses are ok but irregular. Pricey for what you get, due to lack of less expensive accommodation in Rusutsu.
7.0 Good
Pros: Simple but nice. Clean and tidy
7.9 Good
Pros: - Old but clean, good value for money and close to bus stop which will take you to Rusutsu Resort. - Owners are very helpful!! Helped me try to organise a dorm with female members, and also helped me reserve a bus seat into Sapporo. - Close walk to the diner Miyuki which has good value delicious meals!
Cons: - only single bathroom with shower; washing machine is in this room too, so often had to wait for long periods for others to use the shower/washing machine. Two separate toilets though. - mixed dorms, no gendered dorms (but you know about this when you book)
1.0 Poor
Pros: The complimentary coffee
Cons: The facility is disgusting, bed and pillows are dirty and not clean. 1shower and toilet amongst all guests.
6.3 Good
Pros: Awesome staff and a great place to meet other travelers
Cons: Kitchen and shower not very clean. Only one shower for all guests. Rooms in the front were noisy since walls were made of plywood
1.0 Poor
Pros: Location, easy bus to the hill.
Cons: This place has been thrown together with plywood walls between rooms in a commercial space. There is two bathrooms and one shower for upwards of twenty guests. Cheap accommodations are hard to find in rusutsu but hoping something better will pop up for next time as I wouldn't want to go back.
7.0 Good
Pros: Had a good lounge/kitchen/downstairs area. We were four people in the six person shared room but had it to ourselves the whole time which was perfect but if there were an extra two people in there there would be zero floor left once all the beds were laid out. The staff were friendly and did their best with the language barrier too.
Cons: The place was clean and looked after but the shower fall was a bit gross. Also had to pay to get a bus to and from the resort which only offered a limited service.

8.9 Excellent (38 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Lodge Romulus in Rusutsu (Abuta), you'll be 10 minutes by foot from Rusutsu Resort. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and microwave in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to the resort, bed and breakfast style accommodations in a land of capsule hotels and over priced high rise towers. If you're cool and want a ski lodge vibe, this is it. Wonderful family running the place. Want a pretentious luxury stay? Go elsewhere. Want a ski lodge feel with a family vibe? This is it. Their pony tried to poop on me tho
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lodge Romulus is very good value for money compared to the other accommodation options around the area. Room was spacious for three people. It's only 10 minutes walk from Rusutsu ski resort and the hotel offers free shuttle services every morning and afternoon. Everything is clean and tidy. The host is very nice and accommodating. Overall a very pleasant stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff who speak enough English to communicate fine. Good breakfast (you need to order the day before, or just ask on arrival to have it every day) and caters for vegetarians unlike most of Japan. Inclusive private shuttle service to/from lifts. There's a spare dining room with microwave and hot water dispenser for self catering and there's a kettle and fridge in each room.
Cons: A ski room would be better than spaces to store them in hallways. Wifi/Internet was poor for Japan (but tethered 4G was fast in this area) It's rural Japan, so no hotel in these areas will match the standard of modern hotels in Japanese cities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great family run lodge. Their driver was always on time, very accommodating and flexible- when he’s free. It’s an easy walk to the slopes but who doesn’t want a free ride?
6.7 Good
Pros: The driver was able to pick us up and drop us off at the ski field everyday which was extremely cool
Cons: Facilities are pretty outdated. Bit of mold in the shower which wasn’t great
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, privacy and comfortable room, shuttle service to the snow field always very punctual
Cons: Lack of dry room facilities was not ideal. Kitchen facilities could be more comprehensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great spot, 10 minute walk to the ski lifts of west mountain and the gondola to east mtn. They have a driver that can drop you off at the ski hill in the morning and pick you up in the afternoon. The staff / family are incredibly kind and happy to help out. Good breakfast to start the day for 1200 yen. The rooms are large and clean with nice Mountain View’s. Visited feb 2020 and would highly recommend to others. Thanks!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the ski-in ski-out, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The onsen experience was particularly beautiful in the snow. Breakfast was full of choice and variety.
7.0 Good
Pros: Pirka Teppanyaki Restaurant. Concierge were brilliant. The room with the view of Mt. Yotei. The ski in and ski out facilities. Loved the onzen but it really needs upgrading. The shuttle to Sapporo Airport .the Activities such as snowmobiling.
Cons: I stayed here 6 years ago and I was disappointed to see the deterioration of the building and the onsen. The contract cleaners left a lot to be desired and did not present a typical Hilton standard. The hugely overpriced breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel that close to ski resort, beautiful breakfast view.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Niseko can be reached in 2hrs from Chitose airport. The hotel itself is located at the end of the slopes meaning it’s a ski in/out hotel and that’s always awesome. Rental equipment is available nearby and can be stored without extra charge at the hotel itself. 4 restaurants onsite and a small village with some stores at walking distance.
Cons: Everything Hilton worthy except the rooms which were a bit outdated and showing some wear and tear.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ski in out option’
Cons: The restaurants. Good in pub not so good! Could improve. And cost very expensive for what it is!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was perfect to every single detail. Very nice hotel with fantastic Lake Toya view from your room and rooftop onsen. Room was large, beautiful, clean and comfortable. The onsen was wonderful, especially onsen on the rooftop. The hotel also includes breakfast and dinner buffet. Food was great and delicious. Staffs were friendly and front desk spoke English very well. Overall, very relaxing experience and wished it could have been longer.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view of a mountain (Shiribetsu?) right from our bedroom window and of course of the lake itself. You can have the same view while enjoying a private onsen bath too! We stayed 3 days and the hotel prepared a special dinner for us on top of our buffet!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: THE VIEW WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!! Our room had a floor to ceiling window facing the lake (perfect for sunrise/sunset). The food at the buffet was pretty good. The onsen facility was phenomenal, especially the outdoor rooftop onsen! Despite looking like a total mess after a day of snowboarding, every staff was still super friendly during the check-in process. It is worth every $ you spend for the room. Wished I stayed another night to check out the neighboring shops and walked around lake. Free parking is always nice.
Cons: More seafood selection at the buffet? Hokkaido is known for their king crabs, but no dish had that for ingredient. Onsen is open 24 hours, but at times it did get a little too crowded. I did recall there were signs to tell guests to keep their voices down while using the facility, but of course there will always be those who ignore them and ruin the moment of relaxation for others.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful and fantastic!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, with a mix of tatami and western beds. The view was superb, we could see the fireworks from the room. The breakfast and dinner were 5 stars. Lots of variety and of good quality. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was 5 stars. Service staff were friendly and best of all, the onsen was clean and modern looking. The location of the hotel was centralised.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great.
7.0 Good
Pros: The view was amazing and the room was big. Food was OK but buffet style so very crowded (with crazy/hungry/undeducated people).
Cons: Many stains on the sofa. Cleaning products left in the bathroom and broken wood panel under the sink. Notified the staff after leaving and got no answer.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location and facility
Cons: price still a bit higher than normal hotel.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff good breakfast great roomy units
Cons: Nothing
6.0 Good
Pros: Staff makes this hotel (as every other hotel:)). Room was spacious and bed was comfy. Set meals in Tura restaurant are worth trying. Onsen feels as a great idea after slopes.
Cons: Its a nice hotel but location makes it a bit complicated. Hotel is providing bus transportation but if you want to be flexible, better rent a car. Price level raised expectations high even for Japan but reality was just a nice hotel.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location ski in/ ski out was great In room Onsen Staff were lovely
Cons: The breakfast The restaurant was buffet style only
7.1 Good
Pros: Location and ski in / out
Cons: Price !
7.9 Good
Pros: Very friendly personnel, always service minded and helpful. Good breakfast.
Cons: The whole building is functional, but in a quite shabby condition. Renovation needed.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Front desk staff. They called the police because we had friends visit the room.
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff at the reception is super friendly and helpful with any question you have. The breakfast buffet is really nice and you start your day with a nice view to the mountains. Japanese style room was very nice and with good view to the slopes
Cons: I was disappointed by the Onsen. I actually used it only once, the entrance to the Onsen where you change from shoes to barefoot smelled like 1000 snowboarders had taken off their shoes the same time. External visitors to the Onsen didn't respect Onsen etiquette. Noisy, leaving towels on the ground. Even if there is staff permanently looking after you won't have the relaxing atmosphere I was hopping for....
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Niseko Prince Hotel. We had a deluxe twin room with private onsen which was amazing after a day of snowboarding. Location was excellent ski in ski out. Great breakfast. Nice staff. Would recommend to friends and family.
Cons: Looks old from the outside but our room was clean and modern.
The Green Leaf, Niseko Village - Niseko - Building
11
8.2 Excellent (1,112 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at The Green Leaf Niseko Village in Niseko (Abuta), you'll be a 1-minute drive from Niseko Village and 10 minutes from Niseko Mountain Resort Grand Hirafu. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great for skiing straight out the door and ski hire on site
Cons: the buffet dinner was a little expensive but still really good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The facility is perfect for ski-in ski-out. There is a gondola right outside the hotel which can take you right onto the mountain. Perfect for first time skiers as there are some smaller (but not too boring) slopes to go down and of course there are the bigger slopes for the more experienced. We received free breakfast for our entire stay which consisted of buffet style breakfast (Japanese and Western meals). If you stay at this hotel you also receive free access to the Niseko Village bus that can take you to neighbouring hotels (Hilton, Hinode Hills and Hirafu village). I would recommend to take full advantage of this as you can experience different restaurants and facilities with ease of free travel. I found the Green Leaf ski lessons to be quite expensive and we ended up booking at GoSnow Hirafu for 1 day ski lessons which turned out great to mix up the scenery as well. The onsen at Green Leaf was wonderful. It was our first time using the onsen and it was such a great experience as there is the outside onsen with snow around you while feeling so warm and relaxed. The spa service was also great for massages (although quite expensive!). Overall was a great place to stay for our first ski-in ski-out experience in Japan!
Cons: The food onsite isn't the best quality (although you can't expect too much from hotel food). I do recommend to get out to Hirafu village and experience some of the wonderful local restaurants. The rooms themselves can feel quite stuffy and there was air-con inside but it didn't seem to make a difference when the temp was adjusted. The laundry service is very expensive so if you can try and limit using the services if you can and if you do use it do not leave it until you have no other clean under garments or clothes as the turnaround is about 1-2 days. These were just minor issues though and overall it was a great experience.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Ski in & out. Breakfast buffet was very diverse. Inhouse ski facilities (rental, skipass sales, ski lockers). Very nice onsen. The crew was very friendly and helpful!
Cons: Only a buffet restaurant, no a la cart. Very limited tv channels (4 international). No coffee serving after breakfast and before the bar opens.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Good sized rooms Great bar/lounge Very friendly and helpful staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Third time to staycations at Green Leaf. Nice lobby and relax mood of music. New magic carpet is good for beginner. Excellent service. Improved service from carry luggage from bus stop to hotel. Also, carry luggage from hotel to bus stop. Great help for girls trip. Thanks. Will stay at the hotel again in the future.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is right at the chairlift connected to Hilton which is the main chairlift for Niseko Village Slope. They have free timetable shuttle bus to Hirafu. There are many ski service right at the hotel, equipment rental, ticket for chairlift and equipment waxing. The breakfast is varied. Also we have buffet dinner, the soft cream was very good :D
Cons: As breakfast included, I ordered a hot chocolate for breakfast. The first day, I got it for free, but the second day, I costed me 500 yen without informed. I just needed to be told that is it included in the first place. And the hotel front staff can speak English, but hard to listen somehow, but it's not a big deal. The rest of service is quite satisfied. :) Besides, it's not in the Hirafu area, if you don't have a car, it all depends on the hotel service to have dinner (or you can walk to Hilton for other options) and grocery store (they do have 1 restaurants, 1 cafe and 1 corner grocery store with vending machine).
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facilities and good location. Really enjoyed and made good use of the Onsen. Staff very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Paying AUD$11-00 for a cuppacino at the bar...way to expensive!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place. Staff were friendly and helped us everyday. Location is great can get to all other mountains fairly easily. The Onsen is in my opinion better than the Hilton’s.
Cons: I would love to of had better coffee and a menu instead of buffet for dinner but I imagine when busy that’s the easiest. Good overall though!

Pros: The service, location and the view. of course, the onsen on the top floor with a spectacular view to see the entire Toya lake. It was unforgettable to stay at outdoor onsen before dawn and seeing the sunrise.

6.2 Good
Pros: The Hot Spring outdoor Onsen is Awesome
Cons: facility needs to be upgrade or at least to bring to Today's standards. Everything looks old
5.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast & the Hot Springs were OK.
Cons: Location is not good if you dont have a car as the winter timetable doesnt link easily with other transport in the resort. Disppointed overall.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Onsen was OK, a bit dirty and run down, but really the main focus of the Hotel, couples, though there were a number of males who did not want to wear a covering...
Cons: Staff, Room, beds, decor, peeling wallpaper, water stained furniture, corridors, WiFi, location. This is really a dirty and very run down hotel, with very small, poorly furnished and maintained rooms, with barely adequate beds and linens. It was quite pricey, $300\night for my Son and I, to share a very small room. 2 stars is a real stretch. Amazingly dirty for a Japanese facility. I could not recommend this Hotel.
7.0 Good
Pros: The breakfast is good. The onsen is nice and quite in day time. There are shuttle bus going to 3 ski resorts.
Cons: The onsen is too crowded in the evening as there are many guests from other hotels coming in the evening. And some of the people do not follow the rules in onsen. The hotel and room is a little old but still comfortable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The Traditional Japanese Room was great . The Onsen facilities are just great . The mixed outside onsen is just amazing .with snow falling around you .
Cons: The hotel is a little tired and needs a refresh .
7.0 Good
Pros: Onsen is amazing, breakfast was good
Cons: The hotel shuttles to around the different suburbs was very inconvenient especially for hirafu
6.0 Good
Pros: Less rigid on breakfast arrangements.
Cons: Too rigid on breakfast timings and set dinner choices.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing authentic Japanese dinner and a nice hotel for the price.
Cons: The distance from grand Hirafu was too much, once you were at your hotel it was an expensive taxi or free shuttle back but only to 8pm And then a taxi is your only choice
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The onsen was amazing, it is so big, with baths indoor and outdoor. It also has a mixed onsen. The staff was so kind and considerate. The room for 4 Japanese style is very spacious. Dinner was very generous and the breakfast buffet was very tasty. Totally recommend it.
Cons: You have to take a shuttle to the main Ski Spots but the onsen is worth it.
6.0 Good
Pros: The onsens were nice and there was a lot of food at dinner and beeakfast
Cons: The room had a strange odour like mildew

2.5 Mediocre
Cons: There is no air conditioner in the room. When we asked to make sure we were using properly the device, a guy answered a little roughly that the room was hot because the weather is hot in Japan ! It’s my 7th journey in Japan, always in summertime (so thank you : I know Japan is warm) and I’ve never had this kind of stupid answer. At thé frontdesk, we finally had a more honest answer : the temperarure can’t be chosen because these are old devices. We were proposed to change room only when I informed them that we were not staying, even if we already paid for the room. So disappointing. The Toya Kohan Tei, located just next door, has at least rooms with air conditioner and the same view on the lake.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service and experience! Very convenient for ski in ski out.
Cons: Nothing
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel service was excellent, with the staff being very helpful when required. The ski valet experience was particularly convenient, especially when coming back from a long day of ski and being able to simply give our equipment at reception. The hotel was very helpful when we asked to have the car bring us back when stranded in relatively distant locations with our gear. The rooms are comfortably sized with nice and large windows, and have a very refreshing and powerful shower. Dinner at the An restaurant is quite good! The Ki Spa therapists are excellent and I highly recommend getting at least one massage there.
Cons: The location is unfortunately not the most convenient, although everything is relatively at walking distance in Niseko, on a bad weather day it can be a bit troublesome to go out for a walk. Although the ski in is great, the ski out actually starts at the bottom of a small slope, which is not ideal. The breakfast buffet is the same every day which is a bit disappointing. The Japanese section however tastes great, but it does not cover the restricted options.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing in all aspects
Cons: Hot springs could be modernized a bit
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view ,Great service and staff was very nice. The hotel is very close the mountain that you can play ski or snowboarding
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! The ski valet, best massage, concierge, breakfast, bed.
Cons: Literally nothing. Love it all!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is as close as it gets to the gondola, around 1min walking up, and you can ski right back into the hotel. The ski valet is a nice touch, they store all your gear as you arrive back in the hotel. The hotel itself is well designed, I really appreciated the view from my room (snow/resort) and the amenities such as smart tv, good wifi and the well equipped onsen. Would highly recommend and probably stay again
Cons: The breakfast had limited choices, I felt more warm breakfast dishes would be a good addition to the Japanese and continental options available. However still would rate the overall breakfast 4/5, its just a minor improvement point.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Concierge service is great and convenient.
Cons: Onsen could be more enjoyable with an opening outdoor surroudning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast Friendly staff Facilities, including the onsen and ski valet, are fantastic Comfortable rooms - would recommend one with a Mt Yotei view

Pros: the view is beautiful
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is good. Nice environment & relaxing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good Breakfast
Cons: none
1.0 Poor
Cons: Terrible location, very far from the main town grand hirafu, and no shuttles leaving/returning past ~5pm until the official start of the season. Best case scenario you catch the shute, it makesmany stops and takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to get to grand hirafuand also charges a fare of 470 yen. otherwise, you are stuck at the "prison resort annupurri " with nothing to do as there are no nearby shops or restaurants. The area is not walkable as the sidewalks are not maintained during winter. The hotel desk staff was overall very unhelpful. The hotel advertised as having shuttle service to and from the JR station, however on arrival was told this service is not available until 930 AM. We asked the front desk to book us a taxi for our departure, however the day of departure taxi never arrived and we missed our train. The taxi company said they were never booked. We ended up having to pay extra to take the bus to the airport.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Ski in and out! Good breakfast!
Cons: Perhaps the facilities need modernisation including ski renting process,,,, but not affecting anything in reality

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was one of the best - if you are at Hirafu for skiing, Chalet Ivy cannot be any closer to the Ace Lifts. Its central location and the beautiful onsen are major pluses.
Cons: 1. There was very little value for money, at close to $900 per night. We switched accommodations during our stay in Hirafu and the other accommodations offered much more friendly service, more plentiful facilities, at a fraction of the price. 2. The hotel was bizarrely unhelpful and rigid with a slight adjustment of dates, even after we are willing to supplement more night stays in return. Eventually, we had to resort to seeking help from booking.com, whose staff were extremely helpful. 3. Lobby area is not the cleanest. I once looked down underneath the sofas and was horrified by the amount of dirt and rubbish there. While beautiful and clean ski lockers are provided, they can be a little bit crammed if you have more gear (e.g. bags). Please note that items (e.g. gloves) placed in the ski locker room may not dry overnight. 4. If you are used to full Japanese ryokan-style breakfasts, you will be disappointed here. The breakfast offerings barely changed during my stay, and by the fourth day all I had was some (rather mediocre) coffee. However, the nutritional value of the breakfast is definitely commendable - high quality ingredients, but is ultimately a western-style breakfast.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: 1. Excellent location for skiing and evenings 2. Staff couldn’t be more helpful 3. Great facilities 4. Everything was taken care of - our ski hire, transfers, shuttles, Onsen bookings - literally everything was done for us. Amazing!
Cons: It would have been nice to have a double bed, rather than two single ones put together. Aside from that it was perfect.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, the included breakfast was exceptional, the onsen and the staff. The bus service to the gondola was teriffic. We walked down the hill to the hotel after the skiing.
Cons: The restaurant prices were a bit high. I really wanted to try the sushi restaurant but the fixed base price was over 10000 yen! We ate in the ala carte restaurant once and the food was ok but expensive.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location and the shuttle bus staff were really helpful
