Hotel location is really good. I liked the fact we had a parking area. The general construction of the building, is good as well. Not a fancy modern hotel, but very nice. Very clean, with excelent room temperature. The rooms are quiet big, good when you need space for snow lugage. The price it's a little bit high.
The hotel is nicely located close to city center, The pool was very clean and pleasant addition for tired legs after a whole day walk in the Pyrenees. The room furniture will need some modernisation.
Stunning views of the Pyrenees from our balcony where we watched a wonderful sunset. Charming waitress in the main dining room who spoke very good English. Badly cracked basin in the en-suite. Very limited choice of dinner menu in the main dining room. Breakfast buffet was below par.
Close to city centre, the castle and main roads in/out of town. Easy to find, had parking and breakfast was good.
the room was very clean - quiet the staff at the reception should understand that we are the client and should be more sympathetic
Nice hotel, nice town, relaxed, not crowded
This is an excellent hotel close enough to the centre. The room we were given was actually a studio room. Very spacious, very comfortable and included a dining table and microwave. It was a shame we were only staying one night. The view from the room was spectacular, mountains all around. Jaca is a great place buzzing all the time even though it was summer and the town is really a winter ski base. The restaurant was lovely, very cosy, well decorated and the food was delicious and in our opinion not overly expensive for the quality. I would be more than happy to go back and spend more time there. there was nothing to dislike.
Central hotel - nice swimming pool. Staff were courteous but not in the least friendly. This is not an apartment hotel - there are no apartment facilities - except a fridge.
Ideally located for touring the Pyrenees. The town of Jaca is big enough to keep your interest of an evening, yet not so big as to get lost.
difficult to park, aircon turned off at night (12 pm to 8 am)
Modern design, Spacious room Extra charge of spa facilities 21€ per person per day, far from the center
Hotel spacious and clean No facilities for laundry - no price list for laundry, two days if sent out.
The rooms were a decent size and were kept impeccable. 1- its proximity from the city centre on the website is misleading. 2- The taxi service they contacted for us ripped us off (8euro instead o 4). 3- The rooms, although modern with clean lines are not functional. No hairdryer, no kettle, no mirror for make up and no space to put your toiletries.
Modern hotel. Rooms very comfortable, spacious and clean. Good overnight stopping point. Not near enough to village centre. Cleanliness in public area poor i.e. ants on the floor and flies everywhere.
The room which was quiet and the swimming pool. The restaurant. The meal was very bad value for money as we had small portions and no accompaniments and the service was very poor with only one person serving the tables.
The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. We had a suite with the upstairs loft bedroom and the ac did not work and we suffocated as it was extremely hot on the longest day of the year after the building sat in the sun. Front desk would not answer the phone, after getting dressed and going down there, found her on the phone with her boyfriend ("ok sweetheart, i'll talk to you later, I love you").
Excellent facilities, helpful staff particularly in the reception and its edge of town location. Restaurant menu could be improved, very poor choice available.
unfortunately parents should not leave children alone in one room - we had noise until 3 AM and the Hotel Management should not give rooms to children alone - children (under 15) should always be accompagned by one of the parents..
The rooms are quite spatious and well decorated We booked this hotel while travelling through the Pirineos and chose it because of the inner and outer pools: the inner pool was closed and will be for some time as we were told, the outer is like a large tank in a basement (shadow almost all afternoon). When pools are not working we shoud know it when consulting bookings.
Quieter location out of town. The hotel controlled the airconditioning and there was none in our very hot room until we complained. No atmosphere in this hotel Very modern but very bright/light first thing in the morning. we had to cover the windows with black plastic to stop the early morning light waking us.
Staffs were really friendly and professional. The room was clean and well equipped. Both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good.
The staff could not have been more helpful & courteous in sorting out the swimming pool problem caused by the inaccurate information from Booking.com. This is how all hotel staff should be! We are very grateful and would love to return to Hotel Margas once your pool has been repaired. The swimming pool was closed (but they had informed all their agencies months ago).
Excellent dining experience and staff. Good location base for visiting all interests of the Region. Internet wasn't able to be connected.
The design is stunning. If playing golf is your object this is a good venue. For a tourist it is isolated. When we arrived the whole area was virtually disserted. We had a surrealistic feeling of being stuck in a medical research facility. This is a subjective impression though. The room was stunning with good value for money.
New hotel, large room, very clean, modern facilities. fantastic breakfast buffet. great views on golf course and mountains, easy access, free parking, friendly staff dinner was expensive and food not to par with price
Fantastic location if you like mountain views. We enjoyed the golf course very much. Quite a difficult test, was in super condition and the views at every hole were spectacular. Will come back to stay and play again.
It is difficult to find the hotel. They need more signs and directions how to get there. only the technical difficulty to find its hidden location
The reception staff were very pleasant and the room was very well appointed and exceptional value for money. The evening meal in the restaurant was served a little bit too quick.
outstanding quality for 56 euros. fine design, excellent breakfast. not sure if pool was functional; was not an issue for us. also, a little strange being around the barely occupied (failing?) development -- hope they make it.
It is brand new and well equipped
Too hot in the room
english speaking recepionist was fantastic. Well appointed , great location to explore the mountains and historic sites eg monastry
convenient stop in the pyrenees breakfast sparse
Modern, purpose-built hotel located in a residential area. Jaca is a small place, so even though the hotel looks like it is in the outskirts of the town it is actually only five minutes' walk (uphill) from Calle Mayor, the major artery of the Old Town.
The hotel was a short walk fron the town centre. It had very friendly and helpful staff and good restaurant facilities. Despite what is says on the booking.com website there is no WiFi and there are no laundry facilities.
Location in center of town. Internet available at hotel and nearby. Good food. Quiet rooms.
We loved the location, only 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. The pool area was lovely to relax in. Room was great value for money. We would use this hotel again. No
Good quality and very clean Very noisey young families
The hotel is in an ideal location, surrounded by fantastic scenery and close to the mountains for walking etc. Excellent standard of food and service in restaurant. The bar area is not very comfortable.
A lovely hotel with friendly staff and a great pool!
Very clinical. Walls are very thin - could hear noise from all bedrooms around us the next morning.
Location of hotel Hotel is somewhat dated
Swimming pool lovely; restaurant excellent; proximity to town (shops, sights, liveliness).
Close to the town centre, staff were helpful, rooms clean but a little dated, would stay there again.
Location in centre of town. Rooms ok and air conditioning very effective. Breakfast very good value. Very limited parking in hotel and in surrounding streets. Thier garage has very low headroom.
Great, great value!! Really nice room for a very reasonable price in the very centre of the town. Breakfast not luxurius, but really enjoyable: coffee, oranje juice, ham/cheese sandwich and biscuit/croissant, and you can enjoy it from 7 to 11! Staff was helpful and nice. Very comfortable beds, quite rooms (4th floor), flat screen tv, free Wi-Fi... The room was cooled/heated by a very modern and a little bit too noisy air conditioning system. a minor point though, because the rooms were very good insulated, so we just had to switch off the a/c when going to bed and the room remained warm all night.
Staff try to speak english eb were very helpfull No wifi avalable
Quiet, nice view from balcony, restaurant good value Restaurant had no atmosphere
Great helpful staff centre of town clean rooms None
excellent location at the center of old town Jaca. Staff was very helpfull. Room was clean and basic. Small balcony.
Lovely hotel in good, quiet position in town centre None
The friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was very good. This was only a one-night stopover for us, but we would definitely like to return to this hotel and region of Spain for a longer period.
Located in the very center of the city close to the local places of interest
The restaurant is very good. Hotel desk is courteous and efficient. Location is quiet. Room was not very spacious and cluttered because of too much (old) furniture. Hall was noisy, because of the bare wooden floor.
The staff were absolutely brilliant, and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. Our Spanish isn't particularly good, but a great deal of fun was had in attempting to communicate, and they made our stay highly enjoyable. Great dinner too.
A tastefully modernised, beautiful old building within easy walking distance of the town centre. Staff were very friendly and courtious.
Good staff, great help. Tv, only Spanish channels.
Choice of quality or cheaper restaurant. Very professionally run.
simple and clean value for money a little noisy at times, early in the morning
comfortable and great location. Staff wonderful and accomodating.
The traditional feel of the decor, whilst still being comfortable. Reception staff all speak good English
Friendly staff and the ability to take pets was a benefit for staying in this area Whilst the hotel accommodated pets, they had a policy that you were not allowed to leave the pet in the room when you weren't there, this restricted activity over other hotels that did not carry this policy. Extras were charged for everything you wanted to use, i.e car parking, WiFi, pet surcharge and meals as there was no option for accommodation with meals included. This meant that the final bill was far in excess of double the cost of the room.
very nice family run hotel. restaurant was a bit pricey
We liked its situation, right in the center of lively Jaca. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast excellent. No
Centrally situated in Jaca, a most pleasant medium sized town. A good selection of restaurants nearby; overlooks the Fort and a pleasant open space. Comfortable rooms, excellent value.
good location, friendly staff, clean hotel.
The hotel was plain and down to earth. good value for money. would use again.
Hotel Mur was in an excellent location opposite the castle, close to shopping and restaurants. It was well placed for exploring the rest of the countryside, breakfast was good value and the room was quite lovely as was the whole hotel especially being open since 1875. No parking available.
Central for all amenities. Jaca was a pleasant surprise. No Car Parking,
location, and service no
the setting was beautiful as was the hotel itself. Try for a bungalow next to the river and off the road.Visit the stables round the back and explore the nearby countryside free wi fi in rooms a bonus you showed booking in 12 till 5pm l contacted hotel who told me any time before 10pm would be fine. However we tried to get there early and pleased we did to enjoy the hotel
The Staff were very pleasant and helpfull also we found the Hotel to be in a very convenient position NO
The evening meal was really grim which was a shame because the staff were helpful.
It was great Everthing was fine
Good location. Quaint old fashioned setting. It can best be described as the Spanish version of Fawlty Towers. The staff were more interested in their children than the guests and children live with the guests. The room was cold because the heating was not switched on. The hot water supply ran out. The steak for dinner was like boot leather. The hot water for tea at breakfast ran out. Our room infested with flies on arrival.
Very poor breakfast. With one notable exception staff were not customer friendly.
Central location, comfortable room with a balcony, fridge and safe. Secured garage available. Wi Fi throughout hotel, attentive staff and very good continental breakfast which was included in the price.
