Pros: The place is like an oasis within the area. The room was located in a separate building within the garden of the main building, bathroom facilities were very good and in excellent condition.

Pros: Love this family run hotel. The owner goes beyond to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Will definitely come back if it is on our way again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such nice hosts - we didn't need a dinner on arrival but they kindly made us nibbles with drinks out in their delightful garden pavilion and we all enjoyed discussing the area and other topics. Breakfast was like maman's treat. Don't let the boring bit of St Dizier put you off this lovely old mansion!
Cons: Put an alert about Sat nav confusion and the sharp turn off the main road

Pros: The option to choose between a classic castle room, or a more modern room.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the breakfast! Eggs cooked to order was a special treat. Our hostess, Pascal, was very gracious, offered coffee and drink, and took time to talk with us in the gazebo when we arrived. The rooms were elegant and in the character of the house. The pool and tennis court were great extras. We enjoyed the Bastille Day festivities in the St. Dizier town center and the fireworks display in the park.
Cons: We have no complaints. We admire Pascal for maintaining this beautiful piece of French history.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We were welcomed by the owner, and offered a drink after our long drive, which was a nice gesture. We used the pool which was also great after the journey. Our little girl loved imaging this was a princess castle. The garden is big, which was great for a run around. The hotel is located next to a shopping centre (not seen in the photos), which is very useful to get dinner from.
Cons: Nothing, for what it was, a guest house/B&B, it was great.
