Pros: Nice and friendly host, beautiful house both inside and outside, scenic surroundings, clean rooms and comfortable beds, good breakfast, excellent dinner both nights for the food were very delicious but you need to book in advance, we enjoyed very much, our third year staying at this b&b and will come back again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Marie Noelle took excellent care of us. The chocolate croissants were excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second stay, again coming for a festival that takes place in Epinal. The 25 minutes drive from Epinal to Destord is compensated by being in the middle of nature - we could watch the cows coming back in the evening from our window. The toiletries included a shower cap - made a positive difference for me as I forgot my own.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host, very tasty & original breakfast
Cons: Our room had a nice place to sit outside, but it was not possible to leave the room doors open while sitting outside because there was no fly curtain. This would also be nice to get a bit more fresh air / ventilation in the room.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful property, set in lovely grounds with a pool and duck pond. The Hostess was fantastic and made us feel so welcome. The room was spotless and lots of attention to detail in the decor. Breakfast was fantastic with home made crepes! Would have loved to stay for more than one night.

Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for one night on our way from Paris to Milan. A unique property with a wonderful large room, beautifully decorated and well appointed. The host speaks little English but was very accommodating and delightful. She prepared a wonderful breakfast at 07:30 per our request. Another couple were enjoying the same personal treatment when we departed at 09:30.
Cons: Not really a negative for us but dinner options are limited in this little town. We had a fabulous meal (surprise menu) at L’Imprimiere in Fontenoy la Joûte nearby which would suit gourmands well but might be a challenge for some.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, very good hosts
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We booked this b&b to spend 4days during the long weekend in may to celebrate my 34th birthday. We were looking for a hotel Strasbourg but by accident we landed here and even until now we didn’t had any second a regret of it! We were treated as a king an a queen from the moment we woke up until the moment we went to sleep... We have only 1 word for our stay : AMAZING! As from the first hour after arrival you feel the ambiance and you feel the internal relaxation coming up in your body and the work stress is completely gone... Because it is not so far from Belgium and only 1h15min driving from Strasbourg, this is the perfect spot to spend some time and to explore Strasbourg... Don’t forget to have dinner in the very local restaurant “L’imprimerie” not so far from there - is it also amazing!!!
Cons: One small thing to improve : an iron in the room, for the rest all the needed equipment is there! But in the meanwhile you can ask for one or they will do it for you with pleasure!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Corinne was keen that we enjoyed our stay. The room, with its own comfortable seating area was delightfully furnished and thoughtfully decorated. The air conditioning was wonderful, it was more than 30 degrees during our stay. There was an excellent choice at breakfast, and the swimming pool was great. The recommended restaurant L'Imprimerie was very special.
Cons: The access by car is Ok, and the steps up to the apartment were Ok, but you need to take care.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We wish we had spent more than one night here. Very friendly welcome and a lovely breakfast. Room was spacious with a balcony and a powerful shower.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms. Very interesting interior design. Appreciated the kettle and cups!
Cons: Parking available but a wee bit difficult to turn in.

Pros: A lovely Chateau quite a long way from Luneville with pretty rooms & Gardens. The highlight without a doubt was the fabulous Michelin star restaurant well worth staying just for the outstanding culinary experience.
Cons: Unfortunately the WiFi connection was not good & this was important as we needed to be in touch with our business.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The managers and their staff were incredibly alert, very friendly and superbly professional. The meals were sublime, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and breakfast in gorgeous surroundings. The rooms large, comfortable and quirkily decorated
Cons: Weak WiFi but that is not their fault but that of the coverage in the area out of their control
7.5 Good
Pros: Attractive location. Authentic, if slightly dated accommodation
Cons: Too focussed on their ‘cuisine’ rather than on primary hotel facilities
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very expensive for the value
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service and the breakfast were amazing. Nice and quiet pool. Staff is really caring.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We travel a lot but we have never experienced friendlier and more welcoming staff! The two rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, very clean and the beds were great. The dining experience was amazing. We loved all the little touches: There were peaches, macaroons and chocolate in the rooms. After arriving we ordered tea to our rooms and it came with delicious slices of cake. Before an excellent dinner we ordered drinks on the terrace and again they were served with some delicious amuse bouches. The breakfast was spectacular! When we left we received a bag with littles cakes (Madeleines) for our journey and the owner waved us good-bye :-)! Wonderful hotel with a beautifully romantic garden. Dog-friendly.
Cons: Nothing!

Chambres d'hôtes Kayros - Charmes - Building
4
9.6 Excellent (108 reviews)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This lovely old 2 storey farmhouse in Rugney was built in the 1830's and has been transformed into a B&B with three great rooms - "La Suite" which has its own bathroom, and "La Romantique" and "Le Coloniale" which share a gorgeous roomy bathroom a few steps down the hall. There is also a shared lounge area with tea & coffee making facilities and nicely-stocked refrigerator for a cold drink while reading or WIFI-ing. WIFI worked well in our room only near the door, but was great in the adjacent lounge. We love quirky and amazing and this property suited us beautifully. Parking is right outside the gate, in an area off the road, which is very quiet with little traffic. Our Host, Guillaume, was passionate about the Lorraine area and its local produce, as well as a mine of information on the surrounding villages. His help with planning our trip to Nancy relieved a lot of the hard work in finding city parking and deciding what to see. Breakfast in the stylish dining room on the ground floor was AMAZING, lots of home-made jams, fresh fruit tarts, almond croissants, freshly made coffee etc. We spent 3 nights and 2 wonderful days here driving the Vosges mountains and trying to avoid Le Tour. Will long remember this B&B and its fabulous host Guillaume
Cons: Slightly more light in our room would have made getting presentable in the morning easier, as the huge gold mirror in the bathroom was not made for short people - I could only see the top of my head. But only a very minor problem.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this stay. Wonderful place, M. Guillaume was a formidable host, so service minded, kind with travel tips, and generous with his story about the house. Lovely rooms with time typical furniture and subtle decoration. Breakfast was lovely. Our warmest thanks and highest recommendations.
Cons: Nothing to dislike!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are nicely decorated, the location and front garden are unique - really very relaxing. The owner is/are very kind and friendly - one feels welcome. We would visit again.
Cons: It is a pitty that the terrace behind house is not ready as this would add a lot. The bed in the small room is really small - both in width and length. Very nice breakfast - a little yoghurt and cheese added to breakfast would make it perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming Host , Great Breakfasts farm House full of character with amazing decor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitality, Guillaume was such a nice host. And we loved watching the black duck chasing butterflies. Such a peaceful place!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful place! A big old farmhouse, on the edge of a small village, with many original features renovated and beautifully decorated by the Guillaume, the owner, himself. Spacious rooms, filled with old French furniture, walls decorated with wallpapers and painted in dark hues, draped curtains before the old French windows and lovely bathrooms. There is a huge old staircase that leads up to the floor with the rooms, all decorated in a theme. Breakfast is served in a special room downstairs, again beautifully decorated and in a large table. We got served almond croissants, homemade lemon pie, fresh French bread and an interesting selection of local jams and honey. The table was laid with old silverware and French porcelain. Guillaume is a perfect host, caring and super friendly. His eye for detail and passion for creating an experience made this visit memorable. This place is a labour of love and our short visit has made me very happy.
Cons: It was no problem for me, but there is not a lot around, apart from fields. Restaurants are in the next village.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: parking
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very personable service. The grounds were very nice. Can imagine sitting outside if I was there multiple days. They gave a free room upgrade since it was vacant. Freshly baked bread.
Cons: Parking inside requires going up a steep slope. Something to be aware of if arriving in a low car. Mine had to go on the road but it is exceptionally low.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The Prieure is a beautiful property in a wonderful rural Location. The surrounding garden is lovely and relaxing. Breakfast was a thing of beauty. The best bread (made overnight) I’ve ever tasted, the silkiest yoghurt, also made on the premises, excellently cured ham with superb choice of cheeses. We turned down dinner the night before and have never regretted a decision more!!
Cons: I’m afraid that because the building is old and I have impaired mobility, there were too many stairs and steps throughout the property and garden. This is not a criticism, just lazy research by me. The facilities in the room were adequate but lack of a kettle was an annoyance. This would be a perfect hideaway for some, but unfortunately not me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic Chambre D’Hote, nothing was too much trouble, greeted with a warm fire and a bottle of local beer. Evening meal with hosts was excellent, very good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent

Pros: When our VRBO apartment owner in Nancy stiffed is, Booking.com came to the rescue. We opted for a more pastoral setting in Lunéville. What a great choice! And this hotel was a total find. European charm, comfortable beds, interesting architecture, and a reasonable and delicious breakfast combined to give us a wonderful experience. Close to the Chateau, River, shopping, and restaurants.
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: We highly recommend this charming hotel in lovely Luneville. It offers the perfect combination of an authentic old-style French building with a total renovation inside that offers tasteful design, cleanliness and modern amenities. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The European-style breakfast was perfect (wonderful bread and home-made cake with fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice). The on-site, gated parking was very convenient. We loved the view of the garden and the easy walk to the famous chateau. Although you are close to everything, it is very quiet. We slept with the windows open and didn't hear a sound. We did not eat dinner here, but we did eat at a restaurant in town called "Piano" that was very good -- great food, friendly service, nice atmosphere and an easy walk from the hotel.

Pros: Beautiful old style house with lovely garden
Cons: Nothing much to do in the town or places to eat/drink
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the building, the graden and our room and bathroom. It is a very beautifully renovated typically French house.
Cons: We felt that the greeting by the owner was a little cold and almost as though we had disturbed her evening. Breakfast was okay but strangely we had just a half slice of ham divided between us both. The jam was homemade and tasty. Luneville has a beautiful Versaille type chateau just around the corner from the hotel, (closed when we were there) but the town itself is a bit down at heel.

Pros: The proximity to town. The bath! Lovely breakfast. After staying at other properties the accessibility of plug sockets was helpful.
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel was very elegant inside. The furnishings complemented the surroundings.
Cons: Accommodation wasn't available until after 5pm. Unsure if the hotel was open due to lack of lights, signs or door open. No welcome drinks offered, as there are no hot drink facilities in the room or else where in the Hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: - The property was beautiful with a very large garden well maintained with chairs, long chairs and tables to relax - Interiors were of nice taste and good style. - Large living room with elegant furniture to read and relax - Location next to the Stanislas Castle and walking distance from the best restaurants in town.
Cons: - Breakfast with somewhat limited choice - No shower in the bathroom. There was a bath but no hanging to put the shower jet - Too early time to leave the room... 10h30
