Pros: Great location near to the beach, bars and restaurants and 5 minutes by car to Sainte Maxime. Big rooms, spotless clean, very comfortable bed, parking, pool. Everything was just amazing. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hosts are extremely polite. Thank you. Vamos Rafa:)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything and especially Paul and his wife (owners and staff) who gave us a warm and most efficient hospitality.
Cons: we liked everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A great little hotel, right across the coastal road from the beach and several beachfront restaurants. The grounds, pool and decks/balconies all make for great outdoor space. The rooms are well sorted, clean, and a little beachy but modern. The hotel is owned by a very outgoing, kind and helpful man and his lovely wife. He took every reasonable step to ensure we had a good stay, breakfast and made great restaurant recommendations. He even helped me unwrap a plastic bag that got caught in my wheel/breaks.

Pros: We loved our stay, the room had excellent facilities including a coffee machine and fridge, the private terrace was perfect with comfortable loungers. The pool was lovely and we had it to ourselves throughout the stay. Our hostess was very friendly and a continental breakfast was served on our terrace each morning in a lovely hamper and was delicious. The location was a short walk into St Maxime but the bonus was that it was a lovely peaceful area. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend particularly for couples.

Pros: Location amazing - close to the beach, shops, restaurants, ferry to St Tropez - what more could you want? The hotel is small and personal and really nice modern decor - we had a lovely room with balcony and side sea view.
Cons: The sound proofing wasn’t great out onto the corridors - luckily there weren’t many people staying so it didn’t affect us much but we were woken at 4am by people returning one night - just footsteps and a key in their door were very audible.

Lou Trelus - Sainte-Maxime - Bedroom

9.2 Excellent (257 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Sainte-Maxime, this aparthotel is next to a golf course, a 4-minute walk from Saint-Tropez Gulf and 8 minutes by foot from La Croisette Beach. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This beautiful property, overlooking the Mediterranean sea, is truly a hidden jewel. There are three adjacent sea view rooms, each with own private terrace, in a lush green garden atmosphere. The rooms are compact but practical and nicely furnished. All with care for details and very clean, just like the whole property. The pool below is heated, and the large terrace above offers splendid views over to Saint Tropez. Free parking is no problem, either on the property (steep climb), or on the street below.
7.9 Good
Pros: It is placed next to the beach, easy accès by car to the port and even to get to port Grimaud. Beautiful view to the ocean!
Cons: The bathtub wasn’t clean, and the floor was sticky... The beds are too hard to have a good sleep also
7.9 Good
Pros: The view and pool at this property are spectacular. Very secure but steep drive and steps so won't suit everyone. About a 20 minute walk into St Maximes. Rooms are very private and lovely gardens.
Cons: The hosts couldn't speak English. No dishwashing liquid or cloth,or salt/pepper provided.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: What an amazing view. The location is excellent, the grounds are immaculate and the attention to detail really shows. Everything you could need is provided at this spectacular cliff side spot overlooking Saint Maxime.
Cons: Only thing people should realise is the road in front (a ways down, to be fair) is the main road between St. Tropez and Ste. Maxime. It is a busy road and there is a bit of traffic noise.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view was amazing, the pool was just as pretty as in the pictures. Location was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Although there was a bit of a language barrier, we were still greeted beautifully and offered complimentary wine on arrival. Had lots of info for us and the lady who greeted us did her best to tell us everything we needed to know and more. Stunning views, very quiet and we were extremely pleased. A hidden gem
6.7 Good
Pros: Location and Views
Cons: No reception. Many steep stairs to rooms. Steep drive to limited parking. Rooms basic but adequate.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: There honestly wasn't much.
Cons: This place was so bad that we left after 2 days. The photos on the booking site are not accurate, the room are much smaller than they appear. The rooms are not very clean. They do not provide even the most modest of amenities like trash bags, salt and pepper, etc. You get: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 bar of soap, 2 Nespresso capsules and some towels; that is about all. Access to the property isn't very easy, either. It is in a gated holiday community. When you get there, you will have fun in trying to manoeuvre your unfamiliar rental car up a very steep hill with narrow rock walls on either side in order to arrive at a parking lot that is the size of a postage stamp (It was like playing the board game Operation for cars). Other guests will enjoy seeing you try to do a U-turn in order to get out of the property and loath the fact that they, too, will need to do the same thing anytime they forget to buy coffee filters and have to go back to the shop for the 6th time because there are so many things missing. This place is not child friendly or for people with any disability because there are a lot of uneven stairs and the step edges are very sharp. We decided to leave because the whole stay was far from relaxing and it felt very claustrophobic and isolated. We left, assuming that the room would be cleaned, albeit not very well, by the host since we paid a few thousand pounds for the privilege. When we explained why we left, we had a very unprofessional email. Apparently, we left and trashed the place like The Who's Keith Moon (without the Rolls Royce). We were told of phenomenal amounts of wine being consumed, cigarette buts everywhere, damaged curtains, etc. when in reality we just left the beds undone, some chicken in the fridge, a few bottles of wine on the counter and an ashtray not emptied. She said that she was disappointed that I didn't confront her personally, I offered to come see her. She said if I did, she would call the cops. The host is nuts.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular views great location with Saint Maxime one side and Saint Tropez the other. Lovely owner greeted us with drinks and information on arrival.
Cons: Bed a little hard for me.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The heatet pool with the great view was wonderful :)
Cons: Rien

9.6 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has the best seaview! It was like in a dream overlooking the whole coastline! The owner is very very nice, always in a good mood- its a small hotel and you feel like home! Also very good in my opinion was the coffee, which is very important- there is fresh coffee every morning which does not come from automatic cappuccino machine- it is normal filter coffee and you can take as much as you wish- it tastes much better than this automatic cappuccino making coffee you normally get in a hotel! Also there is a little shop where you can get fine food from france! The room was cosy and very nicely decorated with blue and white colours. The beach is a 2 minutes walk from the hotel, but its rocky. To swim, you will have to be good in climbing or go to a sandy beach nearby. It was very very nice to stay there!
5.8 Okay

Cons: Price paid compared with other othel and accomodation
10.0 Excellent

Our room was not only beautiful but very comfy and super romantic, ideal for a weekend break. They have a pool and lots of forested land. Breakfast was the only weak point. It was good but not too varied and I wouls have appreciated something savoury on top of the yum croissants and maybe some fruit.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent accommodation with quality restaurant and welcoming staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location lovely pool Room was excellent breakfast was good
Cons: There were lots of ants on our veranda which meant we couldn’t sit outside. Ants also in bathroom
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This was a good base for a weekend stay near to the coast late in the season. Parking on site was good and easy to access direct from the bedroom terrace. The onsite pool was welcome after a long drive. The restaurant is the main business so provides better choice than the hotel size would justify.
Cons: Be aware that the restaurant closes one night per week (which did not affect us). Breakfast was continental with fresh bread and pastry, but would have been improved with a little more choice to include cereal or yoghurt as example. We did not find good walking routes directly from the hotel site as the easiest track to access stays close to the busy main road.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a most wonderful stay with Michèle & Thierry as our hosts! Very friendly and warm welcome. We had a mutual interest in running, as my wife came to compete in the 1st Saint-Tropez Marathon, and Thierry is an ex-marathonien. Magnificent breakfast with local and home-made products, plenty!!! The location was perfect in a peaceful area, yet very close to the beach and Sainte-Maxime. Thanks for the bike to join my wife in the marathon :-)
Cons: Not one single thing! Tout était parfait: un grand merci.

Pros: Clean. Tidy. Very friendly owners. Lovely situation
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely family run hotel, location is perfect for the beach, walkable distance to shops & restaurants. Hotel is a bit basic and the decor is a bit old, but our family room was clean & spacious, WiFi was good, breakfast was very good. Air conditioning in the room was very good too. The only slight problem we had was the draining in the bath/shower was slow.
Cons: We wish we could stay longer!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Small room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely, comfortable room overlooking the sea. Parking was right across the street. The owners/managers were onsite most of the time as they are remodeling the hotel and garden. This will be a wonderful property when remodeling is complete. It is a 15 minute drive into Sainte-Maxim and we spent a nice day there, but were glad to return to our quiet hotel to escape the crowd.
Cons: The hotel was farther out of town than we expected. in fact, it is not in Sainte-Maxim at all, but just outside a little town down the road. There is no food at the hotel and limited choices within walking distance. But there are several choices a short drive into town. There is no elevator.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great staff - very friendly, helpful and nice
Cons: no real bathroom - included in room and very small directly at the big road
7.1 Good
Pros: Near beach friendly owner
9.6 Excellent
Pros: - Gorgeus view of the see - There is a parking available (for a few cars but still) - Parking on the other side of the street is not a problem in the evening and you can leave your car there for the duration of your stay and it's free. - A beach with a lifeguard is 10m away, just across the street - The rooms are clean and cozy - There is a nice garden to chill in - 5-10 min walking distance from the nearest supermarket
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice view from our room, owners/managers were very anxious to make us feel at home and comfortable. Although located on a busy street, across from the beach, the room was quiet at night.
Cons: The hotel is located outside of Sainte Maxime, and there were limited restaurant options within walking distance. You will need a car.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, easy to find. Direct view to the see. Nice, helpful staff.
Cons: The breakfest was too modest. The rooms are small.

Pros: The infinity pool is awesome, great to relax in. Staff were exceptionally friendly and the location was a short 5 minute walk to beach.
Cons: Sunbathing at the poolside limited after noon due to position in the sun
7.5 Good
Cons: The second room was small and the bed. Like the first room much more!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect. The pool next to the sea and the sun terrace were just fantastic. The staff were so kind and welcoming and the night porter even offered to make us coffee when we had to leave at six thirty for our flight. We didn’t eat at the hotel as it was quite expensive. There was parking on site which is very useful.
Cons: We had the room above reception and it was very noise and only had a curtain between the room and the en-suite !
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location great and such friendly helpful staff
Cons: No shower
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel in an excellent location.
Cons: Breakfast was disappointing for €20 per head.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly and welcoming. We loved the location, and the quirky nature of the hotel. The view from both our room and the restaurant was wonderful.
Cons: Slight noise from some bathroom equipment during the night, and the WC cubicle was tiny (room 11)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The rooms are spacious and overlooking the Mediterranean, lovely hotel with breakfast served on the beach food in restaurant in evening is superb, staff all very friendly and helpful, parking at hotel also Swimming pool is lovely and open 24hrs My 3rd year at this hotel
Cons: The only thing I would say is the price of breakfast at 30 euros But if you walk into ste Maxime you can get breakfast for around 12 euros with coffee But that’s personal choice
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Sea view. The hotel stands literally on the water. Slightly distanced from the hustle of Sainte Maxime.
Cons: Bathroom is very small.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good coffee and fabulous panoramic views from the room and restaurant. Small private beach.
Cons: We did find the mattress too hard and the air con noisy. The breakfast was expensive for what it included. You are very much paying for the fabulous views from the restaurant rather than the range of breakfast items. Hot menu items are additional extras on top. No 24h room service.

Cons: Rien

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Located up a quiet road about 20 mins from Saint Maxime. Perfect for a chilled holiday with the lovely Geraldine, Marie-Helene & Connie looking out for you. Rooms attended to every day. My friend & I returned after 4 years & had a wonderful greeting. Always looking tip top, lovely surroundings.
Cons: Absolutely Nothing!! Adorable from whichever way you looked. Thought alcohol was a little overpriced & perhaps could have a better choice catering for gluten free breakfast (I’m allergic).

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location amazing - close to the beach, shops, restaurants, ferry to St Tropez - what more could you want? The hotel is small and personal and really nice modern decor - we had a lovely room with balcony and side sea view.
Cons: The sound proofing wasn’t great out onto the corridors - luckily there weren’t many people staying so it didn’t affect us much but we were woken at 4am by people returning one night - just footsteps and a key in their door were very audible.
8.3 Excellent
