Pros. There was not much to like about this place
Cons. There were bugs in the room. No hot water. The floor was sticky, and there could be better attention paid to the grounds and rooms in general. Im not sure how this place is even staying open.
Pros. The convenient location
Cons. Update the rooms, they're a little old.
Cons. The lobby smelled horribly of mold and cat urine the room had holes punched in the walls and the mattresses were the hardest most uncomfortable beds ever. The floor would have been better if you could actually trust that it was clean. Don't be fooled by the pictures it's not even mediocre on a good day.
Pros. The quick travel to Downtown SLC
Cons. Pretty much everything else. The room was filthy, the door did not have the extra lock other than the key card lock, the sinks would back up if running for more than two seconds, no housecleaning took place in three days, and The front desk was no help and made false promises, like the technician was supposedly coming to fix the lock for about four hours the first night we were there. Unless you have absolutely no options, I would not stay at this place.
Pros. Unfortunately, nothing.
Cons. Rooms filthy & stained. Shower in 1st room was falling out of the wall. AC in second room was filled with at least a quarter inch of dust and mold on it. Disgusting. Lock on door broken. Vehicles parked on blocks in parking lot. Pool closed with a sign by the health department on it. Stay away.
Pros. The rate was very reasonable and the desk staff wanted to be helpful in this instance. But it was more than I was willing to tolerate.
Cons. I arrived for a night driving through en route to various meetings to the east. When I arrived, I did not expect a luxury hotel stay - I mean it's an econo-lodge. The neighborhood did not feel comfortable and I did not feel safe leaving any of my bags in my car for any amount of time. That said, checking in was easy after a few minutes waiting for others ahead of me in line After receiving the key, I headed to the room, which was in a bit of a state of disrepair. The light switches upon entering the room did not work... and when I started to look around the room seemed OK but not great (again guys, it's an econo lodge... not a hilton). But when I looked up and saw that the smoke alarm had been pulled off the ceiling I decided that it was a negative experience overall. The fact that a non-smoking room had whatever housekeeping staff go through it and a smoke alarm pulled out of the ceiling and light switches not working gives me pause for the overall condition and care of the rooms and location. I requested a cancellation and we worked together on that and I was on my way. All in all I think the management means well but I would not stay again.
Cons. Broken locks, the desk attendant gave keycard access to an individual without validating identity, there were burn holes in the comforters, drug deals and prostitution happening outside.
Pros. I didn't like anything the housekeepers and maintenance man are thieves. My things were stolen I caught them with some of these things
Cons. I wouldn't suggest this hotel to my worse enemy
Pros. Very dirty
Cons. Drug addits everywhere
Cons. $100 deposit
