Very good location and lovely people! You have places to hang out at night, a kitchen and a bar in the Hostel!
Air-Conditioning only at 10pm and ends at 10am.
The hostel turned out to be great, the room was clean and having the curtain for the bed gives you privacy. The people that work at the hostel are very nice and helpful and compared to other hotels in Brazil, the staff at Acai Hostel speak English and French so it is easy to communicate even when you don't speak Portuguese. The terrace at the second floor is a big plus as you can stay and enjoy a beer while you connect with the staff and the other travelers. The location is perfect, right in the old town, safe and close to the touristic attractions and shops. If you want to go to the beach you can take an Uber as it is affordable and easy. I definitely recommend it for your stay in Salvador!
Location in Pelourinho, but felt a bit unsafe.
Facilities urgently need some attention.
Privacy curtain. Very cheap.
A bit old and dusty, also room super hot until 22:00 then freezing until morning. The kitchen is very small and oldish.
I liked everything. Marlene the receptionist was amazing.carlos the owner was very helpful too. They both make the hostel feel like home and family
It was wonderful
