10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great time here. We travelled as a family of 5 (kids are 12, 10, 6), and had a 3 bedroom stand alone cottage which had a lot of character. We went out on two rides per day which was a wonderful experience riding through the surrounding grasslands under that big Argentinian sky. Dinner and breakfast were in the cosy dining room with a roaring fire. We had the BBQ lunch outside in the sunshine, which was wonderful too. This is a family run business and the staff are very friendly. The ranch can organise transport from BA or either airport. Highly recommended.

Pros: Location - well located, easy access. Staff - people are very kind and polite.
Cons: Price. Of course it’s not the same as a hotel, but it is hard to avoid making comparisons. For this price you can have a really nice hotel in many different parts of the world.

Pros: The property is surrounded by a large garden with a small swimming pool perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring
Cons: A bit damp, our clothes would not easily dry especially on a rainy day

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, quiet, incredibly well presented guest house. Loved the garden, hammocks and hummingbirds. Nice abundant breakfast with good coffee. Free bikes to cycle around. Very attentive yet unobtrusive host.
Cons: Don't have a single negative word to say about this place. Everything was perfect. Even has plug sockets on top of the bedside tables for easy access.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about this property and the hosts is impeccable. From the moment we arrived to departure, we were given 5 star treatment. I can not say enough good things about our hosts. Gabriella used to be an english interpreter, and studied tourism and history of San Antonio de Areco . Her command of the english language is excellent and her knowledge of the area, both past and present gave us great insight into local culture. Gabriella's husband Hector was equally impressive. He went out of his way to drive us around (free of charge) ,take us sight seeing and introduce us to local Gaucho and horse whisperer Martin Taata. We were very blessed to witness a private gaucho show at Martin Taata's residence. Daily breakfast was fresh and tasty. Our room was beautiful, clean and tidy. We had access to a gorgeous outdoor area. And when we left we were given a very special gift - I mean who does that??? This property and the hosts are BEAUTIFUL! worth every penny. I highly recommend La Posada de Don Segundo! WE WILL BE BACK!
Cons: Everything was IMPECCABLE - NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location superb, breakfast ample and good, attentive host family, beautiful garden, cozy atmosphere in the room, ease of access to main plaza and long distance bus station
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great hosts, lovely room, pretty garden, perfect location, good breakfast
Cons: The noisy cockerel of the neighbours early morning
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner of this property was a very hospitable lady as was her husband, she has excellent English and explained in great detail all about the area and places to go and where to eat etc. We were leaving early in the morning and this lady insisted in getting us a lovely breakfast and driving us a half mile to the local bus stop. This was a very quiet place to stay as the room is in a chalet style building in the back garden with the garden and BBQ area at our disposal. I highly recommend this property and host.
Cons: It doesn't have a sign outside the house and the taxi man found it a little hard to find.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The town and the position of the house are very nice and calm, the house itself is a wonderful colonial house, but it's totally abadoned and dirty.
Cons: This place is an insult towards any other hospedaje in Argentina who is trying to meet guests in a decent manner and trying to make business in right way, with respect to the guests and not thinking only about money. The building is great indeed, a wonderful colonial house in a quiet and nice city, but it looks like it was opened two days ago after 70 years of abandonment, put up a bed and put the guests in. Dirty, old stuff everywhere, abandoned medicine, leafs inside the closets. Horrible conditions everywhere. The owner stalked us prior to our arrival to sell us activities, and it’s easy to understand why, since money is the only thing that matter, not the guests relax, not cleaning or helping (nobody helped us with the luggage, they were just looking). Dogs roams freely and nobody say nothing, even when doing “breakfast”, that means a dirty table full of flies, with juice poured hours before in open glasses, and coffee available in an old thermos. We literally run away, after paying the highest price payed in Argentina in a single night, in dollars and with all the taxes that are not due from foreign visitors. Visit the city, the pueblo and the beautiful country but stay well away from this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The amazing house, the comfortable room, the friendly staff and more...
Cons: Everything was perfect!

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The house and gardens are absolutely stunning!! So beautiful! And the service was amazing: there was a storm when we were there. First, when it started raining, the owner (?) walked through the rain to our apartment to bring umbrellas. Then, when we were in town and the power went out across town, he called to see if we were ok and offered to pick us up. Great service!! The breakfast in the beautiful kitchen was also nice. Definitely recommend this place highly! We booked the apartment with 2 bedrooms, it's very big and private (you walk there in 2 min from the house, beauriful walk through the garden)
Cons: Almost nothing! Only thing I can think of is that we rented an apartment, but it did not have enough glasses and plates etc for all of us. Next to that, only one of the two bedrooms had airco so that can be a potential improvement, but we did not mind this

Pros: The breakfast was simple and every piece of it was delicious. Pastries were outstanding. They had a self service of coffee, tea, juice and water. Fruit and fruit salad. Bread, galleta, libritos and gluten free options plus an unforgettable jam and honey.
Cons: The town is absolutely beautiful and we spent a Saturday and Sunday there which goes without saying that we were longing to visit restaurants and shops, but found that they were closed the majority of the hours as if this was not a touristic spot. A phantom town most of the day. But when open, the restaurants like Soderia and Meecado Generales were extraordinary decor and delicious.
