Staff extremely friendly and considerate, great location.
Parking way too expensive, and maid would knock on our door way too early. Should wait until 10 not 8. Breakfast too expensive for not the best food.
Proximity to the wharf
1. Found a man's underwear in the drawer. 2. I was never informed I would be charged an additional$100 on the day of our check-in. I saw the charge on my online visa statement and told only after my inquiry. Since there were no damages to the room, I should expect a refund in a few days. My experience has been that possilbe extra charges are done after check-out and NOT on the day of check-in. 3. A few ants coming out of the heater. 4. A $51 charge for underground parking because of the high rate of car break-ins so I parked there, only to find they also have overnight parking in the gated registration lot but told the price is the same???? Likely or another way to charge more???? No transparency.
Lots of food choices around the area including Starbucks. Looks clean.
Nobody asked when we came in if we need help in our luggage. The bed creeks, make some noises when you move while sleeping. Parking is not included. You need to pay 50 bucks per night.
It was really close to all the attractions to Fisherman's Wharf
The room we were in had a lot of guest traffic within the building such as people walking up and down the stairs and doors slamming. (room 241)
It's just a block away from the main street. In close proximity to bars and restaurants . The staff at the front desk was very helpful. We didn't go to the bar at the hotel but it looked inviting and we would have if we had more time.
The hotel is a little older but nicely maintained.
Der Pool. Die Lage. Frühstück Buffet.
nice clean hotel - close to fishermans wharf
paying $40.00 to park
Location was excellent, and the room was clean and well maintained.
We stayed in the "Wharf Building" which seemed older and less maintained. There was no front desk staff in the building and it was difficult to get back over to the other building if we needed anything. Also, the elevator was under repair the full duration of our stay, which made the one working elevator very slow.
Nothing, service was terrible, people were rude.
Great position near Fishermans Wharf. Good big clean rooms. The day people behind the counter were fantastic and very helpful.
Very rude non caring staff when we arrived late on a Sunday night , no help getting bags to our room in the building around the corner
The location of the hotel was excellent.
everything was perfect
Ease of check-in and check-out. Rooms comfortable and clean. Excellent location and proximity to attractions.
Good location - only a short walk to Fisherman's Wharf. Large, very comfortable room.
The first room we were offered was small and looked straight at a wall. Staff were unhelpful when we asked to change (we were staying 4 nights). However they relented and the new room - in a different building - was very nice. Most of the hotel facilities are in the main building.
Big hotel, part was renovated, part was old. Staying in the old side was dissapointing
The rooms were comfortable and almost quite well furnished. The maid service was excellent - she was extremely helpful.
Would have preferred to have means to heat up food as portions here are very large and sometimes had to bring back left overs - a microwave would have been nice
It very close to Pier 39, and just cross street of StarBucks.
I booked non-smoking room, but Holiday Inn Fisherman's Wharf Hotel gave me a smoking room without any word when check-in. I carry all my luggages in and out, go to hotel lobby and ask him gave me a non-smoking room, and then drive car to another building, move out all my luggage again, and then park my car at original building, and then walk back to the 2nd building again. The feeling is so bad!!
Close to numerous restaurants and Pier 39. Transportation readily available...cable cars, trolleys, taxi's.
We requested a non-smoking room. However, we were given a smoking room. The staff changed us immediately to a non-smoking room.
