Pros: This place is spectacular, the minute we stepped out of the taxi we smelt the fresh piece of air ever. The staff were so so welcoming and given the language barrier, all of our needs were met! The rooms were very authentic and clean. The nights were slightly cold but this was mitigated by the beautiful log fire in each room to keep nice and toasted. Overall this place rates 11/10
Pros: Breakfast was good, the waiter was new. Like the breakfast since was natural. Also staff pretty friendly and room calm. Internet was good.
Cons: In general everything was good
Pros: Really great place! Super lovely, clean, nice staff and very helpful, good location!!
Pros: Great friendly hosts. Great location. Very clean
Cons: Breakfast. No american coffee... they charged us extra for chopped vegetable for kids...
Pros: The receptionists were very attentive and also recommend sightseeing objects as well as they gave me a map.
Cons: For my first breakfast they neither had fruit nor juice, even these were offered by the menu, but, when I had told the receptionist my disappointment, I was later served both at my room as well as I additionally was offered yogurt.
Pros: Beautiful near new hotel, smelling of pine wood in the room from the exposed timber construction. Staff were very helpful, WhatsApping me before check-in with the CORRECT location (as the Booking.com location was COMPLETELY WRONG, and had us looking several km away!). Shower and bathroom facilities were excellent with very hot water. Breakfast at the restaurant was with vouchers as part of the tariff, and the food was excellent. The foyer and the internal courtyard walkway was very rustic and appealing, making you feel you were really in the mountain "high country". There are also little shops and artesania outlets in the complex, which were very interesting to visit.
Cons: Not much to write about, apart from the WIFI not working for me at all, and for the other guests they found they had to login in the foyer, as it did not work in the room (staff mentioned that the rainy/foggy weather affects WIFI function).

Pros: Outdoor are awesome! Great design and architecture!
Cons: The room they gave us was not fully prepared when arrived and last minute arrangements with other guests needs to be done
Pros: Greatest location right on the main square with private parking.
Pros: Its steps away from the plaza
Pros: Quaint and comfortable hotel steps from the main square We enjoyed our stay at Casa Azul a lot, the hotel has beautiful surroundings and feels very calm and serene inside. The hotel is literally on the main square so everything in the surroundings couldn’t be closer. All activities in and around Huasca can be organised through the hotel or in the kiosko directly opposite the hotel. We went quadbiking to peña del aire and has a fantastic time. The rooms are a little dated but the beds are very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Room 15 backs onto a side street and we had no trouble with noise at all on Friday and Saturday night as some others had mentioned. The included breakfast is very good and consists of a buffet with pastries, yogurt, coffee, fruit and cereals and then you can choose to have something from the a la carte as well like omelettes or chilaquiles. The outdoor patio is really nice and it’s great to have a drink there in the evening. We also had dinner here once and it was fine without being memorable. Service was mixed as the reception didn’t inform us we had breakfast included initially and didn’t really show us what the hotel had to offer. One of the male waiters was fantastic and offered consistently excellent service. It’s a shame they turned the pool into a fire pit but I can imagine it gets cold here in winter months in the evening so understandable. We had no need for the fireplace in our room but we definitely would have used it if it had been cooler. TIP: head to Casa Colobri for amazing cochinita pibil. It is a 20min walk down the road or you can jump in a collectivo, you won’t regret it.
Pros: Everything is excelent
Cons: The owners Kids playin over the pool table
Pros: the soap was delicious, the wood of the fireplace an unexpected bonus.
Pros: The hotel an the grounds were magically beautiful! The owners were extremely gracious and helpful. The food and coffee at the restaurant were excellent and there was much variety. It was a very hard place to leave!
Cons: We absolutely loved everything!
Pros: The location of the hotel is perfect. It's exactly in the middle of the town. The staff was always very helpful and polite. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was delicious. (A BIG thank you to Jairo, Gudelia, Rodrigo and Ivan).
Cons: Everything was nice.
Pros: Great location, quiet, peaceful, nice patio and garden for breakfast, wood burning fireplace for those chilly mountain nights. Great service from very friendly staff. Off-street parking.

Cons: This hotel is remodeling their restaurant. Therefore they let you eat in a hall. No ambiance, bad food. The last place you would go out for dinner, lunch or breakfast. The bad thing is that the hotel does not let you know upfront, so we ended up leaving the hotel. The rooms smell terribly humid. In the afternoon it started to rain and the rooms flooded. They did like it had never happened before. But where did that smell came from? The bathrooms need remodelation. The beds are too small for 1.80m plus pleople and of very bad quality. The rooms are lacking ambiance. Not a single painting, nightlamp in the rooms, domes or suites. Conclusion: do not go here until they do a big remodelation.
Pros: Good value for money, close to attractions nearby
Cons: They advertise more nature than you actually get

Pros: The hotel was very very pleasant, staff was even better than expected and helped us all the days we stayed there.
Cons: The weather was very cold so chimney or heaters would have been of great help.

Pros: Cosy cabanas. Very quiet and woodsy. Friendly staff. Cute town nearby plus prismas basalticos.
Cons: Pool was very cold, but refreshing.
Pros: i love the service and amazing attention to detail from the owner, we got there very late night because we got lost, our kids were super hungry and everyone in general exhausted,, the restaurant at the hotel was already closed and storm was about to come, so we ask the owner were we could go to get some food, he not only offered to go himself to get us some bread and hot milk in town but also he opened the jacuzzi and pool area to go and relax in the meantime, that was not only amazing service that was a great gesture from him! we definitely recommend the place is so beautiful, peaceful and comfortable !
Pros: The facilities are really really good, clean and comfortable. But the best thing is the people, hey really do everything to make you feel at home, the restaurant is really good.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. Limited parking is available onsite.
Pros: Magnificent setting in an old hacienda, or Mexican large landed estate.
Cons: hotel restaurant is mediocre, at best, and overpriced
Pros: Excellent in every way!
Pros: the hacienda itself
Cons: Swimming pool cold and very bad quality in the hotel of the restaurant
Pros: The service in the restaurant was really friendly and good, the soup was delicious! The nature is amazing! A great place to enjoy a walk. It is amazing the contrast of the ORIGINAL architecture of the Hacienda with the nature. They did build some parts without respecting the original architecture but in all the place is really nice.
Cons: The price of the rooms were high for the comfort of the offer. We have got confused with the Hacienda San Miguel by booking, although Santa María has better acceses to the Prismas and the surroundings are more beautiful , the price for the nights was really high. My friend had a problem with his passport so we wanted to drive him to Mexico City. We ask the reception to please change the last night bill for a certificate at the restaurant or to change the date for an other available date. They took 2 days to answer in negative what I understand if they don't do that, but the attitude to help is not that good.
Pros: The enclosure where the hacienda lays down.
Cons: The bedsheets were used, with lots of hair from previous guests. We expect standard hotel quality specially for the price paid, but it did not happend. By the way early in the morning people start drilling walls. All in all not a good experience to stay. I recommend just visiting the hacienda but not staying.
Pros: Location, service
Cons: Smelly bathroom
Pros: The location. The view of basalt columns is amazing. In additional it is a historic building.
Cons: No heating. When it is cold (it was the case) it is not comfortable in the bedroom.
Pros: Super location. We went there to attend a wedding and it was excellent for this. Pools looked great., although we didn't have the opportunity to use them. Buffet breakfast in the open air on the Sunday morning was a nice experience. Food at the wedding was good and plentiful.
Cons: Room was dark, under a long archway. It had been a connecting room but now had a wardrobe built in front of the connecting door and sound insulation between the rooms was very poor. Suggest booking a higher grade room - they should be good. Bathroom was small and had a drains smell but was clean. Dinner in the restaurant was reasonably priced but of a mediocre standard.
Pros: An amazing location, with an increíble access to the “prismas basálticas”! A very great stay to enjoy the region and a very special Hacienda !
Cons: Only limitations: the rooms are really nice, but the bed’s comfort Is not good, and does not correspond to the hotel’ standard. Also, the swimming pool seems nice but it is not warmed up and by so, freezing...
Pros: I am going to start by saying that the place is amazing. That is definitely the best part of this hotel. The old hacienda is amazing. The problem is that it is not run very smoothly. The rooms are very basic and cold, no extra comfort for the amount of money you are paying. The restaurant has the kitchen so far away that by the time the food gets to you its cold. The waiters in the restaurant seem like they are not very well led or prepare for the job. They are working a lot but nobody is telling how things should be done such as bringing plates for a table at different order.
Cons: The appliances in the room. The service in the restaurant.
