Pros: The hosts Eve and Henri were great: warm welcome, very helpful and they gave us great advices for visiting the region. Great view (sea) from the breakfast area. Nice garden, very relaxing. Also great place with animals (donkey, horses...)
Cons: The room was a little too cold but we stayed in February.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had one of the downstairs rooms because we stayed 3 nights over the weekend and the upstairs was booked already. It had a lovely terrace with 2 recliners looking out over a lawn and the shrubbery. It was very private. To see the sea we walked down past the main house. There are sitting areas with lounges and access to the beach below. The view is great. Breakfast was served in the main house with fresh fruit and juice, beverage of choice, cheese, yogurt and a choice of warm breads, croissants and rolls. We had a wonderful stay. Good wifi. Secure parking on site.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were spot on. It’s like walking into your own little paradise. Beautiful grounds, easy access to the beach and gorgeous views. Every night you can have an apero on the terrace overlooking the bay. The owner is incredibly friendly and considerate, a really lovely guy - he looked after us very well including recommending some fantastic local restaurants within walking distance from the property. Couldn’t recommend it more, beautiful place to be!

The gardens are beautifully kept - in a very natural way! It seems unreal to have this hidden gem of tranquillity and nature on that street! Only 10-20mins walk to the little town centre!

Pros: THe room was spacious and beautifully furnished in a quirky modern style. Th bathroom was equally spacious with plenty of hot water and a good shower
Cons: The steep stone staircase- however the proprietor very kindly helped me with my suitcase
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent 7 nights at Pitibi - and it was exactly what you call an ideal holiday! The owner is a wonderful host and made us feel at home like at a friends place at once: warm welcome, a lot of good ideas for restaurants, beaches and tours, a lot of extra service to make us happy (f. e. we could use his grill to cook our own dinner ...). The rooms (and the whole house) is beautifully furnished, each room with a very individual concept. And it is located right next to the habour ...
Cons: The Nespresso Machine ... we prefer Italian coffee machines without capsules ...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room, great location
Cons: Patio was a bit messy
6.3 Good
Pros: location and a big room
Cons: The up keeping of the common areas where dirty and not inviting. The Room was big and pleasant but I found it to lack quality of housekeeping details. Lots of dust, windows where dirty, hairs from previous guest found on bed and sink, spyderwebs. The room Tao, would also be better if it had a minifridge. The room had a coffee machine but no capsules where provided and the kettle was very dirty.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Huge bedroom, lovely bathroom and comfiest bed ever. I slept so well.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was unavailable . Bars and restaurants nearby were excellent . Parking unavailable and difficult to locate also expensive adding cost to holiday Well worth a visit

The garden was a restful place to sit and read. The breakfast generous and the hostess very helpful and welcoming. Really enjoyed staying there.
Cons: We found it a little hard to find on the street not well marked.

Pros: Owner could not do enough to help-we got lost and were very late- past 11pm and Pascale drove out to find us and guided us back to the villa, she was meant to be at a party! She then offered us food and something to drink! She gave us detailed instructions to various places and spoke excellent English. Leon the cat was also a handsome star as well.
Cons: Perhaps a larger sign at the road end?

Pros: Pascal was very accommodating and friendly. I felt at home while staying at Villa Madelleine. If I need to go again again I would definitely stay there.
6.3 Good
Pros: Small Location with just two Rooms for rental with own bath. . Nice small pool.
Cons: Rooms a bit dark but with good possibility to sit outside close to the pool. Everything could be a bit cleaner. Even the kitchenware at breakfast as well as the bathroom. All Looks down-and-out. You receive a small breakfast with regular White bread and some marmelades and Pancakes only. Some cheese/sausage would be nice. About 1,5 km away from citycenter, but you normally know this in Advance. For 1-2 nights it would be ok but not for a longer period..
8.8 Excellent

Cons: My room didn't have a balcony or outside area.

5.5 Okay
Cons: The place is amazing however the staff is not nice at all especially at the reception.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location and the view The rooftop restaurant The staff
Cons: Nothing
9.3 Excellent
Cons: We did have a complaint , reception couldn't help us, they suggested email the director, we this twice. They never bother replying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to relax; the beach is in front of the hotel; great pool area and jacuzzi on the top; very nice hotel crew; very clean, modern and comfortable; we loved this special place ♡
5.8 Okay
Pros: The actual hotel is quite new, very clean and stunning to look at, as is its location. I stumbled upon another roof terrace, with an empty jacuzzi that was unused. Why they didn’t tell us about it? By the time I’d found it was really too late.
Cons: Although right in the beach, all of the relaxing areas were at the rear, admittedly protected from the wind. This means no view of one if the best in the Med. There were few rooms with the ability to relax on the sea side. The large top floor terrace is part of their ‘luxury ‘ suite which is a ridiculous waste. The staff seemed young and very inexperienced. There was no real pleasantry, little warmth and nothing to make you feel wanted. With a roof top bar that remained closed, nobody offered me a drink in three days, there was little access to drinks during the day without going downstairs to ask, no water in the rooms without paying 5 euros for 500ml. I’ve stayed in a 6 star hotel and not had to pay fir bottled water. When pointing this out, the front desk seemed completely uninterested. The standard room rates for this place are frankly, embarrassing. I got a discounted rate but feel with staff showing a complete lack of warmth, unavailable facilities, a total lack of refreshments and outdoor drinks, it was too expensive. We won’t be recommending or returning. Sad really.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The place was magnificent, very well located right on the beach and close to Bandol as well as Sanary ser Mer. The service was generally good. The hotel, in general, is highly recommended.
Cons: A pity the staff was not better equipped to speak English and it was generally a big problem. Ordering food or drinks from the swimming pool is also not to be recommended. Parking is for free but due to a lack of space the car was parked in the basement and for that, there was a daily fee calculated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice place Infrastructure is fresh Room is big Breakfast area beautiful Deep pool Jacuzzi on the roof )
Cons: We couldn’t connect with hotel through the phone - tried it two times We couldn’t connect with reception desk on the gate - to enter on a car. Tried it two times After we finally checked in - and I couldn’t connect with reception desk again through internal phone-net. Tried it 3 times ...
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The air conditioning worked perfectly, even in the ‘canicule’ of early July. The hotel is actually on the beach; about two minutes from the room to the sea. A big choice of restaurants in Bandol and Sanary, but both towns are about 5-10 minutes away by car/taxi.
Cons: No complaints!
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel is nice, modern and well maintained. The staff is helpful and nice. We enjoyed the pool and the small beach in front of the hotel. Nice breakfast area with good selection of food. However you need to pay for it:
Cons: We however had problem with getting the internet connection. It took several attempts and couple of hours to finally get it. The other thing that needs a lot of improvements is the main restaurant on the rooftop. At night the guest are seated under the glaring sunset sun. We ordered two fish dishes and both were not to our expectations and price point. The staff could be better trained as well. Overall the hotel needs to step up to the price that charges.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: God sevice. Nice place. 15-20 minuts walk to center with many restaurant and shops.
Cons: Very small room. Very much seegeas on the beach. Very exspensive restaurant. 1 bottle water 7 euro.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the food!!
Cons: internet connection.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect beach location Excellent breakfast
Cons: Couldn't have been better
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located and very clean hotel. Thierry (he is looking after the rooms and surrounding areas) is a wonderful guy. He is very helpful and has great tips about the area (other staff members did just enough but nothing extra special to set the place apart for me but again nothing bad either) The restaurant is very very good (fab food) and similarly priced to others in the area.
Cons: Local authorities do come really early to empty the bottle bank (around 7am) so a bit noisy. And the room size (room 5) just about acceptable but has great views. Breakfast, which was included in the price of the room, is ok for France but they could do a bit better. When you ask for something to be changed from the menu (natural yogurt instead of lemon yogurt for example, you feel like that it’s burden for them....hmmm, considering the price of the room, this shouldn’t be such a troublesome task).

Les Chambres d'Agatha - Sanary-sur-Mer - Bedroom
11
8.6 Excellent (42 reviews)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a uniquely charming room rental - no bar no restaurant or breakfast facilities - just room rental. The room I had was the on the top floor with a a delightful rustic balcony, and you are right in the heart of town "a deux pas du port", Sanary sur Mer is a really nice little town on the Cote d'Azur unspoilt by mass tourism. The room is large and has been renovated to a high and tasteful standard and has high quality bathroom facilities (although not separated by a door from the room itself)
Cons: This place is not for the elderly or infirm or the faint of heart. Access to the upper floors is via a beautifully renovated but perilous spiral staircase (no lift - this is an old place). Getting heavy luggage up and down is challenging to say the least. There is a rope handrail which is essential for safety, but at least one of the wall fixings is coming loose which potentially renders it DANGEROUS and the proprietor needs to attend to this urgently. The stairs are also lit by switch but not all the way up - this needs sorting out for safety reasons. Its a quality property renovation which still needs a few small things sorting out (can you tell I'm a construction professional?) Also the top room I had needs a privacy door between the bedroom and the bathroom/toilet facilities, AND a light in the bathroom area. Its almost as if the owner did a lot of renovation and has now lost the drive to finish final details. It is also very difficult to find, being a small doorway between two commercial properties. The owner needs to produce a small location plan for travellers - the street and the number are NOT enough. All the above can be improved at modest cost.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Balcony area was lovely
Cons: You do need to be aware that there are 63 Stone spiral steps. Not an issue unless you are not able to climb steps and or have large luggage.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: What a great little spot! Perfect location with great views of the town's rooftops. The balcony with sofa was lovely for an afternoon nap in the sun. Below the apartment was a small supermarket and everything was so close by that we were able to go back to the room during the day if needed. The town itself is cute and the locals are so friendly. The room had a big comfortable bed and tea and coffee making facilities. The shower had excellent water pressure considering it's a top floor room. Other reviews have said that the bathroom is open plan to the bedroom but there is a secret sliding door to close it off from the room. The furnishings were modern and tasteful. Plenty of plug sockets for charging phones etc. and speedy wifi. It was also very clean - something which I feel is lacking with most properties. It is located at the very top of a tight winding staircase but we liked the quaint adventure of navigating the stairs each time. However, it wouldn't be good for those with mobility issues as there isn't a safe rail to hold onto which was pointed out as we checked in. Even if you are sure footed it's still a good idea to use your phone as a flashlight when going up or down. A small price to pay for the light bright comfortable room and wonderful location! I'd definitely stay here again.
Cons: The room could do with a big mirror as the ones in the bathroom are fairly small. There were water glasses but take a bottle opener if you want to open a bottle of wine to enjoy the view. The shower did get a bit blocked and had a tendency to spill over the edge but I am sure this will be addressed when the room is next cleaned. And the AC/heater has a very bright blue light right above the bed so if you are light sensitive you'd have to turn it off during the night or find a piece of black card to cover it with. Small things worth noting but not enough to put me off staying there again!

3.8 Mediocre
Cons: Just a shame, just a robbery. 92€ for micro-bedroom of less than 8 sqm. Something called a bathroom was 0,80cm large where they aligned shower, sink and wc. This is scandalous.

Cons: No special negative point to mention..
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location clean & pleasant room with a comfortable large bed
Cons: Breakfast expensive
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location practical. Car park. Bed comfortable. Modern, relatively spacious bathroom. Good choice at breakfast incluo fresh squeezed orange juice
Cons: Old,smells damp and musty, carpets filthy, room incredibly noisy due to street. The whole hotel is shabby and run down. Will not come back.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff, very good breakfast.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The Location was central and good. Best part of the hotel is the gated parking space for the car.
Cons: The hotel is old and needs urgent renovation and in general some care. In the indoor Pool area was mold, very strong smells of Chlorine and it was dirty. The paint came of the walls which is due to the mold. Wiping the mirrors or general floor cleaning didn't happen for a while. In the room the air condition didn't work (cool down) and was loud like a plane landing next to you... Shower was old and set the whole bathroom under water. This hotel doesn't meet the standards for a 4 star hotel.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good bed, generous size rooms. Would be nice to have either coffee available in rooms or lobby in the morning. It was available but only if paid for. Complimentary coffee would be a realplus
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely room pleasantly decorated in Provençal style Airy and spacious View of mountains (and buildings)
Cons: Not quite in town. About ten minute walk Seemed to lack atmosphere
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location and ease of booking
Cons: Superior King room had two single beds pushed together rather than the extra large King sized bed as booked! No sea view as detailed and there was a definate cold (slightly damp) feeling that you get in an out of season hotel.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location for short walk into harbour area.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice with a balcony, nothing special but comfortable and clean.

Cons: A lift!
7.0 Good
Pros: On the sea front so view over the harbour. Excellent choice of restaurants and shops nearby.
Cons: The restaurant (and breakfast) was expensive. Some of the staff a little off-hand. Had to pay extra to park the car in the hotel garage and this was not mentioned.

Pros: The location was fabulous
Cons: The small rooms
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and sea view
7.0 Good
Pros: The view is stunning, right on Sanary little harbour and central located in the heart of Sanary, walking distance to the market and stores. Also the staff was very nice.
Cons: We had a bedroom on the 3rd floor, and was definitely not as nice as on the pictures shown on Booking, and probably not like the other rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. The bedroom was pretty small and the facilities (general aspect of the room, bathroom shower...) kind of old. So we understood the discount on Booking for this room ! But for one night and 64 EUR, it was worth it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Best location in Sanary. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good bed, great view. Would definitely stay again.
Cons: Breakfast was grim........much better on the water front

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Nothing
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: - We had to move three times in two days because in two of the flats there was a bedbugs infastation. - As a result we had to clean all our belongings and wash all our clothes at 60 degrees which some of them didn't survive. - The third and final flat was a flat for 4 persons while we had paid for a flat for 7 people with a bed for two persons. - Every apartment we had was dirty and needed a renovation. - We lost two days of our vacation as a result of these facts, and we could not really enjoy the rest of our stay because we were worried to find bedbugs again, and because of the too small flat. - We were promised a full refund but after two mails and more than a month waiting, we haven't heard anything.

Pros: Yes, the crossants were flakey!! In fact the breakfast has improved considerably. We have been stopping here several times a year for many years and will continue to do so. Great location close to town. Staff always very pleasant.
Cons: Much as thugh we love this hotel it is in need of a major refurb. Loose light sockets; poor lighting in the bedroom making it difficult to read at night; hair dryer does not work until the light is turned on, common in most rooms. This seems to suggest that light and power are on the same circuit; bath very slippy and anyone with mobility problems could easily fall; air con not very efficient.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was very nice and staff very friendly.
Cons: The hotel was very tired, and well in need of refurbishment, very disappointing as we've stayed their previously and enjoyed the stay.

Cons: I have stayed at this hotel for the last 5 years and until my last stay have been very happy. I upgraded to have a room with a balcony & garden view and was disappointed when the room we were given had an enclosed balcony & a view of a sloping roof! I returned to reception to see if they could offer me an alternative but the very bad tempered receptionist gave me the key to another room but without any balcony! I returned the key to her and said we'd keep the original room. The room had 2 very old and thin small bath towels and one hand towel and 1/2 a toilet roll! Fortunately I saw the cleaner the next day and she gave us another toilet roll! Later that day the Internet went down and as this was our only way of communicating with our Family staying in another hotel I went to reception to inform them. I stood a long time at reception waiting whilst the same receptionist served a new arrival. She didn't acknowledge me waiting or even break off to say she'd be with me in a minute. After some time I said excuse me I just want to inform you your internet is down. She shouted at me saying she was too busy to deal with it! Shouting at a guest is not acceptable under any circumstances! I was neither rude nor offensive with her and I expect to be treated in an acceptable manner. Having stayed here and booked through you on most occasions I was very upset at the way I was treated and very probably will not return.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Only the venue which if you were staying for more than or night was probably fine
Cons: Be warned. Do not stay here for just one night as we dId. Apart from having to put down 300€ as a deposit should you not leave the place pristinely clean the day you leave, - you have to make up your own bed, despite it saying the bed is made up-and should you want to cook in the evening or have breakfast in the morning you have to buy tea towels, washing up liquid etc so that you don’t lose any of your deposit. It’s really wrong and money grabbing that overnight stays are accepted as we found out. The cleaning etc is all done by you, not them, and in the morning before leaving it’s a good three quarters of an hour taking to pieces the sofa bed- no back for the second person In the bed so the pillow falls off- taking the sheets to the laundry, stacking any chairs one had dared to sit on the night before, defrosting an unused fridge, wiping down any used surfaces with tissues, emptying the bin and then filling in a form and putting pool bracelets, remote control for the TV and the key in an envelope to be delivered to reception before you leave. All this in a non air conditioned apartment in rising temperatures. We went out to eat, left - after our cleaning activities- for breakfast and vowed never to return. I’m sure if you spend a week there or more it’s possibly worth it tho the apartment we were in was very spartan,as there’s a pool and it’s 900 metres from the beach but NOT FOR ONE NIGHT. Too expensive, not at all value for money and hassle from start to finish . Don’t do it.

Pros: A basic apartment with no frills. Good location for visiting Bandol or Sanary if you have transportation.
