Loved the location, how close it is to the rest of the island destinations. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they were great on our first visit. The gardens are very beautiful and gave me a sense of serenity I was looking for in my getaway. Thank you for a great experience.
Guava Grove was amazing, the staff is so nice and polite. We felt like we were with family or friends. Cheryl is a great host. It was like we were on our second honeymoon. The pool was great as was the service. It was like we were in paridise. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach, but that wasn't bad at all.
Most people were very helpfull dining at the beach, food and service was good, except for the flies and sea fleas jumping on my plate!!!!
Hotel staff, bar staff---Digna, Ziggy, Chock-o-latte---are the best. Nothing.
THE EMPLOYEES ARE VERY NICE AND KIND THE BEACHES IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL ARE BEAUTIFUL AND CLEAN THE FOOD SERVICE WAS TOO SLOW YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR FOOD AT LEAST ONE AND A HALF HOUR TO EAT THE CURTAIN OF THE ROOM WERE IN BAD CONDITION THERE WAS NO EXTRA SHEET OR QUILT
Great place to stay. We did not choose the all-inclusive package as there are so many place ks to choose from in the area and drinks are cheap somwhere close all the time. Beach was great, water was calm. Couldn't ask for more on that front. Nice people everywhere. Always had a smile. Our only issue was water pressure or lack there of in the shower. It really was hit or miss if you would have some pressure or no pressure. We made it work. Only other thing we would have liked was a coffee maker in the room so we could enjoy our balcony in the mornings more.
The resort facilities were great for the cost. The leisure area and dining facility were both better than expected for an all inclusive resort in the West Bay area. The hotel staff was incompetent. I pre-coordinated to have the hotel shuttle service come 15 minutes prior to their scheduled 0545 departure time to facilitate making my 0645 flight (which was more than enough time according to the staff members who said the ride would take 20 minutes and the check in would take an additional 20-30). The shuttle was over 30 minutes late, resulting in a hectic and dangerous ride to the airport, and ultimately, us missing our flight. The mistake and incompetence of the staff costed me over $1,200 purchasing new plane tickets.
Staff & location were excellent AC not very strong. TV didn't work, but still would recommend for price & location/staff
The wait staff and the staff at the dive shop were outstanding. They were friendly, courteous, helpful, and efficient. Our stay was fantastic.
From the front desk to the wait staff, to the dive staff, to the owner, this place was great.
Got picked up @ the airport by Las Rocas employee, got directions and some information on the Island on the way to the hotel. Up graded my room and enjoyed it to the max. Clean comfortable and set by itself was a really good value for my $. Staff was exceptially good to me and though they don't expect tips, I tipped them well. Restaurant was good, there are several others very close by to get a variety. All in all, had a comfortable stay & should have stayed another week! steve
It's a bit disconcerting that the expectation is to tip most everybody that works there, which added to my total bill. The staff was very pleasant, and helpful. I guess it is a cultural variance from what I am used to.
There is nothing like an experience in Roatan. THE best diving in the Carib. Everything is within walking distance. No need for a car. Take a water taxi to West End for 3 bucks. I walked the beach every evening to find a different place to eat and party. Rooms are quiet. Only complaint is the bed should have a box spring. Its just a mattress on a board. I think it may have straightened my back. Im just spoiled in the US. Good A/C Hot Water and its Clean. Great location to access everything.
