I loved the charming architecture of the place. Very traditional...very Santa Fe. The viga’s and latilla’s were superb! The staff was extremely helpful...Candace, Carol and Abbey are the names I remember...! The breakfast was more than adequate and the coffee delicious. We walked to the square as well as the restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed...all recommended by Candace. My kids loved it as well.
Unbeatable deal for a basic motel room close to the plaza and railyard. We were able to walk to a couple of different movie theaters in less than 5 minutes. Charming southwest decor. Staff was very accommodating. The pillows were very hard but they gave us softer ones the 2nd night. Good variety for breakfast including made to order waffles.
Loud noise from room above - recommend staying on 2nd floor.
The room was great. The location and price can't be beaten.
The breakfast was the only thing that I think could have been improved. Everything else was great.
The room was spacious and tastefully decorated in New Mexican style. There was a separate bedroom (with a queen bed) and another queen bed in the open area. The room also had a gas fireplace and a sitting area, plus a private patio. The heat and hot water were more than adequate (which we appreciated, since Santa Fe was unexpectedly cold and it snowed). Parking on site is free, and you can walk to the plaza and downtown if you wish. The street (Agua Fria) is also very conveniently located to the highway. The breakfast area is lovely, with a fireplace and a view of the garden. There is a wide assortment of breakfast pastries, bread, and bagels, yogurt, fruit, waffles, and coffee/tea. Service was very pleasant and responsive.
The pillows were a bit lumpy.
