Pros: Many halls in the hotel mainly for meetings
Cons: the room facilities is just so so, in the night it’s too nosy the cars noise the chair moving upstairs etc. Fall below expectation and it’s price
Pros: Amazing experience. Will be my go-to hotel when I’m in Machala.
Cons: Wasn’t a bang for the buck

Pros: Everything else is perfect, the customer service is flawless, from the front desk to the barman in the pool, they are well trained and very kind and helpful
Cons: The transportation needs to be more fluent, especially when you are in the bungalows, maybe add more little golf cars instead of having only 2 or 3 big buses
Pros: This place is beautiful; family friendly, plenty of stuff to do. The staff specially Nixon and his young apprentice made our dinner enjoyable. Definitely going back with the rest of my family.
Pros: The room was nice, the views are amazing
Cons: We were really disappointed here, - internet is REALLY bad, when asked for premium internet they told us they only offer it to conferences. didn't expect it so bad at a luxury hotel t this - the food ... quantity, but quality was low - except for the main pool, the others are not well maintained and dirty - some staff was very unfriendly. At the buffet we ordered 4 slices of pizza. We then wen't to ask for 4 more, and the bartender told us we already had 4 and he is not giving us any more (all inclusive resort .... riight ?)
Pros: The staff, especially in the restaurant and Guta pool bar were awesome. Very attentive and friendly. The food was great and lots of variety - healthy options, too. Unfortunately, we had a very annoying incident on our second night. A large group of people, who returned drunk after a late-night karoake party, decided to continue to party in the room across from ours. It lasted from 2:30 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. We had to call the front desk, and explain (in my broken Spanish) that we couldn't sleep. They did send a man to ask them to quiet down, but as soon as he left, the party continued. I
Cons: Noisy, drunk & rude guests need

Pros: is bad
Cons: This place is a dangerous place, with many criminals, their services in general are bad, and if you want to leave because it is ugly, they want to charge you all the days of the full reserva, so go before. This is a fraud.
Pros: Large spacious rooms Good hot water Air conditioning Generous breakfast Small pool with jacuzzi Walking distance to riverfront malecón and restaurants
Cons: Bathroom shower fittings a bit loose and dated.
Pros: Everything is clean and very kind staff.
Pros: Very large comfortable room. There was a quaint space on the roof to relax and view the bay.
Pros: The staff was courteous and helpful. The location very nice close to the boardwalk. The pool looked nice although didn’t use
Cons: Didn’t stay enough to see the negatives... arrived 9 PM and left 9 AM
Pros: The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly, and the was an air conditioner in our room as well. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at St. Adriand's.

Pros: Wonderful accommodating staff and business owner. Was there for a quick overnight on way to Peru and it was perfect. Close to good restaurant (walking distance). Clean and comfortable.
Cons: We were able to park, however the design is definitely for smaller cars, not an SUV.
Pros: The host is a sweet woman that brings you some information (tips) to get a nice stay. The place is confortable if you just want to go to sleep. It has a good location, near restaurants with delicious seafood.
Pros: We first booked a room with only one bed (me and my friend). When we got there we realized it was too small so she offered us a room with two bed for only $5 more. We accepted it. Then for the same price she gave us a really big and private room for the same price!!! WOW. They have their customers at heart! I would totally recommend this hostel
Cons: In our big private room, the wifi was really bad (but I can’t complaint, this was the price to pay for that room :))
Pros: This is a great place to stay when you're planning to cross the border to Peru. The couple who run it are really nice and helpful people. Gave lots of info and even treated me to free local ice cream, which they make next door. I have no idea why anyone would come to the village, if they're not going to cross the border, but if you are – this is the best, quietest place to stop before next day's journey.
Pros: The location
Cons: no feet towel

Cons: A rubber mat - non- slip in the shower. Also no covered area outside to empty luggage from car if it were raining!
Pros: Great Breakfast!!! Great and friendly staff!!

Pros: Comfortable bed and spacious room. Decent airconditioning. Excellent wifi. Very helpful staff. Safe parking. Affordable laundry services. The hotel itself is a good deal.
Cons: Breakfast was fair... it could be improved with the addition of drip coffee. We realize that many Ecuadorians are happy with instant but a good cup of coffee can make a difference to the entire day. Although a hotel cannot choose its neighbors, the location around this hotel is in poor condition to include unclean sidewalks and dirty streets. For a port city with access to one of Ecuador's newest wildlife preserves, it was surprising to find how poorly prepared the town is for tourists.
Pros: Room was VERY clean as was the bathroom. Decor is very dated and old. Air conditioning worked well but was noisy. A 3 block walk took us through a sketchy neighbourhood to a big boardwalk on the water with many restaurant choices. However we were advised to be back by 8 pm to ensure security. (We are 2 women traveling together). I did not feel safe walking in this neighbourhood. We were approached twice by teenagers looking for money. Bed was comfortable and but for the noise we would have had a great sleep. Breakfast was ok but no perked coffee, only instant.
Cons: Location! Quite far from the Terminal Terrestre but very close to the port of Puerto Bolívar. Very difficult to tell from the listing. Did not feel safe walking out for dinner after dark Sheets were ripped. We’ve had much better value for the money over the last month in Ecuador. We would not stay here again.
Pros: Breakfast okay, shower okay, staff okay!
Cons: Location near the ocean but looked dilapidated around the hotel.
A stay at Hostal Madrid places you in the heart of Machala, steps from Machala Cathedral and 4 minutes by foot from Juan Montalvo Park. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Cons: No free parking but the ad said that there is parking. It's misleading. Tricky. It is a pay parking 50 meters away.
Pros: The location is good
Cons: The beds are uncomfortable, the building is a bit old and not nice. The staff put on TV really loudly during the night, I could hear it in the room. They didn't speak English either and were not understanding with me trying to speak Spanish.
Pros: Great location in the centre of the city if you have come down to get your visa. There is a nice little family cafe 20 meters down the rode that serves nice meals.
Cons: The hotel had no hot water just cold. The hostel also appears to make any emergency exists and they keep the main gate locked. So if ever there was a fire or other emergency its not the place that you would want to be staying. The rooms have no glass on the window / air vents just a metallic bug grate to keep the mosquito's out. Not the worst idea as the hostel is located in the central city its very noisy. There is a air-conditioning unit in the room but its so noisy that its best to switch it off at night.
Cons: Way too expensive
Pros: Rooms were clean and the staff were friendly.
Cons: Coming and going from the front door is challenging but it’s necessary bc of the city.

Pros: Very hot water. Spacious room for the money
Cons: No elevator. Broken for a month and a half
Pros: Great location in city center. Nice breakfast.
Pros: Perfect location. Very kind stuff. Comfortable.
Cons: I think they should add extra pillows.
Pros: Good hot shower.
Cons: The bed was really hard. No hand towel. Place is kind of grungy.
Cons: Toilet very narrow
Pros: Location was the best! Hotel is located in the center of Machala, all is needed was in the 5 minutes walking
Cons: Wi Fi was awful, there were no internet connection at all!
Cons: The conditions in the hotel and surroundings were deplorable. Trash everywhere. I did not feel safe to stay with my family.
