Located in Fort-de-France, Redoute Paradise is a 2-minute drive from Balata Cathedral and 6 minutes from Palais de Justice. Featured amenities include a computer station, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Food was great, host was very friendly and accommodating and generous. Pool and hot tub are wonderful.
Cons: The property outside has a strong odor of compost that is a bit unpleasant at times when trying to enjoy the pool and hot tub area. The tent accommodations that we got our reservations for didn't really seem very inviting or worth the price - old Coleman tents with nice stuff inside... I was very grateful there was an indoor option available for us at the same price, it was much nicer inside.
Pros: The map associated with the Booking.com app didn't take us directly to the hotel, but after calling, the owner met us on the street and showed us to the property. After showing us to our room and the breakfast area, he then took us to a neighborhood Portuguese restaurant where we were able to get a nice meal. He was considerate, obliging, and very friendly. We were very grateful to him for his kindness. Our poolside apartment was clean, spacious, and very well equipped for a longer stay. We even had our own hot tub that we enjoyed. Unfortunately, we only had one night here and we'd recommend a longer stay.
Pros: The bed was comfy but bathroom is not part of the room. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was nice, with lovely garden. The owner was welcoming and mostly very helpful but keeps your Identification as "precaution".
Cons: Owner could have been more helpful when I needed help making a reservation at a restaurant. He started to help but then walked off before I had one.
Pros: Host take us to downtown when we check out Going to downtown Forte de France ,thank you Patrick for the accommodations
Cons: You need a taxi or take a bus to go to downtown Forte de France :
Pros: Very friendly family that made an awesome breakfast for us. Everybody was extremely nice! The pool, jacuzzi, garden were very beautiful! The rooms were clean and we felt like being at home. Thanks for this!
Pros: Gorgeous-looking place -- I especially enjoyed the art and tropical fish.
Pros: The jacuzzi and swimming pool was lovely and you can access it at any time. The host was very helpful and the breakfast was nice and filling. The room was a great size with great appliances.
Pros: We Loved this place. They truly created a little Paradise tucked away on the outskirts of the city. The garden is beautiful, full of plants, fishes,a couple of rabbits and even turtles! The breakfast is amazing and the host Very kind. The accomodation itself is comfortabel, clean and modern.
Pros: The host was very nice and welcoming. Despite a bit of language barrier, we felt really great. The whole garden, pool and everything else is very well thought through.
Cons: All was great.
Pros: Very accommodating owner who got up extra early to fix breakfast for us when we needed to leave early
Located in Fort-de-France, Apolline Martinique is within a 10-minute drive of Express des Îles and Fort Saint Louis. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The infinity pool was heated and had an amazing view over the city. Breakfast was delicious and beds were comfortable.
Cons: We didn't have enough towels for everyone. I would have expected to have a separate bath towel and pool towel per person.
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly, the room was magnificent, pool Large size. One of the best places we have stayed in.
Pros: The view from the property swimming pool was stunning. The cook made fabulous scrambled eggs for breakfast. A fascinating, traditional property. Friendly, very laid back staff who were very helpful when around.
Cons: A little like Fawlty Towers. The promised driver to meet us at the airport did not materialise. As it was breakfast only, we either had to walk along tracks for over half an hour to eat lunch or dinner or get the hotel to order us a taxi. A hire car was definitely needed. Think they are missing a trick. It’s located in a beautiful position overlooking Fort de France and the Caribbean. If they would provide simple lunches and evening meals it would be a gold mine. Rooms tiny and as we had loads of luggage for a cruise with us we were extremely cramped. There was also the skin of a dead zebra instead of a carpet in our room - not acceptable!!
Pros: professional staff, ready to satisfy every request. beautiful hotel, easily accessible if you have a car.If you want to spend some unforgettable days I recommend it! great breakfast ... beautiful view
Pros: the view and the swimming pool
Cons: the bed quality was poor and there was no provision of basic services like drinks etc (despite having a bar in site) or other snacks - you have to bring everything yourself from far away supermarkets
Pros: Beautiful views from the pool. Comfortable rooms.
Cons: Very confusing place, not really a hotel - more like strangers staying in a big house. No facilities for food or drink. We could never find any staff! Very remote location - impossible without a car as grabbing a sandwich etc is 30-40 min walk away. Mosquito central as bathroom windows didn’t fully close.
Pros: The view from swimming pool and interior of the hotel are amazing! The personnel is caring and friendly.
Pros: I have stayed in 61 countries in hundreds of hotels and this was one of the finest. The staff were simply excellent. They upgraded our room to the junior suite (so we had 2 beds for me and a friend) and every morning we had a gorgeous breakfast with one of the best views. We then had the villa completely to ourselves. The garden, the view, the pool, EVERYTHING WAS EXQUISITE and I cannot fault them. STAY HERE!
Pros: Outstanding view on the ocean and Fort de France. Really nice pool and well spaced rooms. Everything is nice and clean and the villa really is beautiful.
Cons: In opposite to the great view it is not well connected to the city center and there is also no restaurant in the hotel neither near by. You have access to a small kitchen for self meal preparations or you can order something by delivery service , the friendly stuff will help you to order it.
Pros: Very nice and arty old villa with very spacious room and excellent views
Cons: Bathroom is quit small. Difficult to close shutters sufficiently to keep mosquitos out. Fort de France itself is not very appealing and feels not safe at night. A car is very helpful to get around.
With a stay at Vi Get' S in Fort-de-France, you'll be near the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Windward Islands and 8 minutes by foot from Fort Gerbault. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, luggage storage, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: absolutely amazing! the owner is absolutely the most friendly person I have ever met during my trips. A totally unique place and superb experience. Next time i am back to Martinique, i will surely stat at the same place. very recommended.
Cons: all was perfect, no complaints at all!
Pros: The view.
Cons: After I checked in on Saturday afternoon I never saw a staff member. I departed on Monday morning. I understand the hostess, Deodate, wasn't feeling well but there was no food, coffee, taxi service or housekeeping. I was given keys to the front door and a remote to the front gate. Additionally, a rental car is MANDATORY. No taxi would take me here. I had to walk 1 1/2 kilometers from the ferry. All uphill.
Pros: The most gorgeous view of Ft de France bay!
Pros: I already miss Vi’Get’s & we just unlocked the door to our apartment in the states! Where to start: the gorgeous view from high up on the hill, the quiet, tranquil rooms surrounded by lush greenery, air conditioners in each room, and most importantly the proprietor, Deodate, one of the nicest humans I’ve ever encountered. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Fort-de-France. It’s worth noting that the majority of guests spoke French, as that’s the national language, but if you don’t (like my husband!), the owner will still go out of her way to accommodate your every need.
Cons: Nothing to complain about in the slightest.
Pros: I did not have breakfast at the hotel as it was not included. There was no other restaurants near by to get food or drink
Cons: The internet was really bad
Pros: Very nice host :)) and very kind welcome ! Thank You ! Unfortunately i spent only half day on the island so i saw only part of fort de france
Cons: prices on the island are they expensive especially taxis ;/
Pros: The room was cleaner and personal was smiling and the bed it's comfortable
Cons: We don't say me that my cab its arrive that wait me long time and the conteur turn
Pros: The excellent view from the hotel's veranda. One can see almost the whole bay of FdF. Noteworthy is the personal approach and the friendliness of the staff, especially the owner. It felt like being with old friends. Thank you for that.
Cons: Honestly, for me it couldn't have been better!
Pros: The owner was very sweet and we felt sorry for her as she was obviously sick. Nice room with a great view
Cons: We booked the hotel out of the centre with parking space so that we didn't have to take the car into town but hadn't thought it would be situated up a very long steep hill from the town and in a very poor area that wasn't conducive for walking back at night. The restaurant was closed as the owner was sick and breakfast was only available twice on the 4 days we stayed. There was also no maid service .
With a stay at Villa Eden Rock, Adults Only in Schoelcher, you'll be in a shopping district, within a 15-minute walk of Madiana Beach and PLM Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. For a surcharge, guests may use a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request) and a cruise ship terminal shuttle.
Pros: We had a very nice stay! There is a swimming pool, which is always nice to take a dip. Also nice lounge chairs to hang around. It has an amazing view. The owners are also super friendly and helpful.
Pros: Location, view and the host was superb. He helped us to rent a car a gave us good advice where to go and what to see around the island .
Pros: we had room named "colibri", second floor, the room was fine, good bed, refrigerator. The owner (couple) were nice, live there, the lady speaks english, the gay fewer but still, we got a coctails as an invitation. we stayed only one night. The pool is small, but nice. There is a lot of green, the house is really nice, if I forget the noise of the cars, its really good place to relax. We parked next to the house (i think there are only two places), the restaurants and shops are not very close
Cons: The house is still in the town, next to the street, the cars are quite noisy (i think the room "zen" would be better).
Pros: Super nice and helpful staff. It is good value for money compared to other hotels in Fort de France. The only minus point of this hotel is location: it is not easy to reach this hotel without a car/taxi (we were also unlucky: bus strike) and there is not a huge variety of restos or bars in the surroundings. I think that there is room to improve the breakfast.
Pros: Lovely, clean little inn. The family that own it are wonderful! Very accommodating.
Pros: Check in was very easy. Jack offered an excursion to see the island, which was fantastic. He made sure I knew where the beach and restaurants were located, and how to walk to them from Eden Rock.
Cons: Only soap was hand soap on the sink, so I suggest you consider bringing shower soap and shampoo.
Pros: The hosts are a very friendly couple. Cute little apartment in the middle of a tropical garden. Very good location if you need to be in Fort de France in the morning (e.g. for the departure with the ferry) and don't want to have to drive a long way.
Cons: Nice little house but not well insulated, so if the people staying upstairs are not considerate it feels like someone's walking on your head.
Pros: I felt very welcome and could enjoy the stay in all concerns.
Pros: Villa Eden Rock was amazing. The bed was very comfortable, the room was really nice, the location was very good and the staff was exceptionally nice. I can’t wait to come back!
Pros: As I visited other islands too, I mixed up the dates for my last stay on Martinique but Corinne and Jacques were so nice to cancel one night and refund me without any problem. The communication was perfect, I was picked up from the airport and even brought to a drive in to get something to eat as I arrived late. Jaques was extremely friendly and helpful and their house is amazingly beautiful. Breakfast (especially the bread) was delicious. I couldnt imagine a better place to stay on this beautiful island and will definitely come back. Thanks for everything!
Situated in Ducos, Le bungalow des bougainvilliers has a garden, BBQ facilities, terrace, and free WiFi. All rooms boast a kitchenette and a private bathroom. The rooms have a patio with views of the garden. All rooms are fitted with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave, a coffee machine, a shower, a hairdryer and a wardrobe. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Guests at the guest house can enjoy a continental or a à la carte breakfast. Les Trois-Îlets is 16 km from Le bungalow des bougainvilliers, while Fort-de-France is 18 km from the property.
Pros: Besides everything I will give my upmost rating for the hostess who did everything to make our stay a memorable occasion I want to make a special mention for the breakfast that was fantastic. A place to return with pleasure.
Pros: beautiful property and a friendly host
Cons: i would have liked to have a washing machine for my laundry
Pros: Extremely kind the guest Corinne and her son. Beautiful garden with the possibility to have dinner at the restaurant managed by her. Very cool and chic furniture in the bungalow/apartment.
When you stay at La Suite Villa in Trois-Ilets, you'll be near the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Anse Mitan and Pointe du Bout Beach. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The restaurant is by the pool and at night is nicely appointed. The wait staff were fantastic
Pros: Very clean8
Pros: We were a group of six staying at one of the villas. We were initially worried how this would work out as we were three couples, but the accommodation was fantastic - enough privacy with ensuite bathrooms and also enough joint time with common kitchen and yard with sunbeds and the jacuzzi. Restaurant was excellent and as we spent here few days after sailing trip we really enjoyed having everything easily available and with very good quality. Service here was excellent!!
Pros: Nice, clean and comfortable small villas.
Cons: Based on their pictures on booking.com we expected better view and proximity to the beach.
Pros: Very nice property. The staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. The food was excellent with a spectacular view on the Fort de France bay area. We stayed in a villa with a lot of privacy and beautiful backyard with a hot tub and outside shower. We highly recommend this place !
Hotel La Pagerie is a gorgeous hotel on Martinique that provides visitors with many different types of services to make their stay enjoyable. Options for dining include La Sirene, Restaurant La Marine Martinique, and Le Kano.
Pros: Great Location to shopping, the front desk spoke english
Cons: The maids were very unfriendly
Pros: Fabulous from start to finish staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lovely pool amazing food comfiest bed I have ever slept in luxury bed linen and toiletries super soft towels lovely pillows really wonderful place to stay
Cons: We loved everything
Pros: The staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Great location to experience the food and shopping.
Cons: The ferry service was not running.
Pros: The hotel is in good condition, and upscale for Martinique (but barely a 3 star elsewhere). It’s not new but it’s well maintained. The pool area was nice and the rooms were well appointed. The hotel staff spoke English well and were helpful. Well located within Point-de-bout, in sort of a fake village shopping area with decent places to eat and drink. Very close to excursions from the Marina.
Cons: The breakfast is over priced and not very good, just go next door to the Baguette Stop. The pillows were very thin so we were constantly trying to figure out how to fold them to give them some capacity. If you want to get to a nice beach, you’ll need to drive because the ones nearby are pretty mediocre.
Pros: What a charming little base camp for exploring the island! It's big enough to offer all the nice things you'd expect, but small enough that you don't feel lost in some big corporate complex. The nearby village offers plenty to do, and the neighborhood had a safe feel.
Pros: Celine and Carolee were amazing at the front desk. The location was optimal with many shops and restaurants - and of course, the beach - within steps from the hotel. The rooms were clean and fresh and the pool and Jessica at the pool bar was lovely. Our view from 510 and 525 were great. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and service there was also excellent.
Cons: The only thing missing was a fitness center. Even a small one would make this hotel perfect.
Pros: The pool, staff and room were all great. I would highly recommend going to this hotel!
Pros: Very friendly staff
Cons: The corner room balcony was small and a bit cramped. The staff agreed to change our room the second day, but as I fell ill, I didn’t have the energy to move. The staff were very cooperative!
Pros: Location was great as it was walking distance from the ferry dock, including restaurants and shops. Most persons spoke English which was extremely helpful.
Pros: Excellent location, clean room, organised, good facilities and very friendly and helpful receptionist.
Cons: Waiting for the bill in the restaurant for 45min. Eventually we had to leave and sign later when we checked out.
When you stay at Domaine du Chateau in Trois-Ilets, you'll be next to a golf course, within a 10-minute drive of Anse Mitan and Pointe du Bout Beach. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The premises were quite nice. Nice pool close to the ranch with very distant sea view.
Cons: Well, if you want to save your nerves, just AVOID this place. Very hard acces through steep road in the middle of nowhere. Too many restriction. Pool open from 8-18. Very rude staff. Not helpfull and not reachable in case of need. Be careful, they are taking deposit and then threaten you, that they will not return it. They have some set of rules written in french with no English translation. Also contract is only in French. For instancr they made us to take a garbage from the hotel room to the garbage bins outside of the property distant at least 700 m under threat that deposit will not be returned. Room was not clean from the begining. Not cleaning service at all during the whole 6 days stay. No cleaning products available not even after direct request. Cockrouches in the room.
Pros: Peaceful retreat with easy access to horseback riding for the kids.
Cons: Nothing except maybe the pool hours 8:00-6:00. 6:00 is dark there but kids might like a jump in the pool after a day at the beach...
Pros: Lovely place to stay...quiet, nice area if you like horses and at the same time you are close to les trois ilets facilities.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay in Domaine de Chateau. The building is located in a beautiful and historic area, it has it own stud and a swimming pool. The owners were extremely nice and helpful whenever we needed anything. Definitely worth recommending!
Pros: The location of the property is amazing. In the middle of the tropical forest, on a hill. Calm and in the nature but close to the amenities of Pointe du Bout and to the ferry to Fort de France.
Cons: The property is poorly maintained, to say the least. Cleanliness is minimal, the equipment of the rooms is haphazardly put together and not very useful, light bulbs are missing, etc. It can be turned in an amazing place with minimal investment and a bit better management. To give a rough idea, the property is virtually impossible to find, as it has no entrance sign whatsoever and it is located fr from the road at the end of a steep driveway that crosses a ranch. You need to call the manager for instructions. Also, the driveway is not just steep but full of potholes so there is a risk that a small car cannot make it at all.
With a stay at Simon Hotel in Fort-de-France, you'll be near the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Windward Islands and 6 minutes by foot from Palais de Justice. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and an elevator (lift). Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Loved the location, modern touches and the staff
Cons: The a/c in the room was lacking. Would not get cool despite attempts to rectify.
Pros: Big rooms with ocean view and a little balcony. The hotel is extremely good located for a short stay (4 days) on Martinique (near ferry terminal and city center). Bar with beautiful terrace overlooking the harbour and city square. Garage directly accessible from the hotel.
Cons: Room service forgot 2 times in a row to replace the towels or did not bring the correct number of new towels. It took more than an hour and 2 calls to settle the problem. This should not happen in a hotel of this category. It would have been nice to have 2 chairs and a little table on the balcony.
Pros: Modern, clean, comfortable rooms. New and fresh. The bar at the terrace has a terrific view of the city and bay.
Cons: Somewhat cold and almost sterile in places, like the reception area. The location is a bit removed from the fray of the town, which could be a good thing if that's what you want or it could make the walk to get into the center of town a bit longer.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. They speak English and were generally more tolerant of anglophones than other places I have stayed at in Martinique and French Guiana. It is “France” so French is the official language. It’s helpful to know a bit of French. (But be prepared to get some backlash for speaking English from some people.) The security in this hotel is excellent. I felt really safe and comfortable.
Cons: I will never understand the French washrooms. I could not get my TV to work....didn’t matter as there were no English speaking channels. No big deal except that I needed to find out what was happening with the airline.
Pros: We stayed one night before taking the ferry to go to Dominica. The hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes drive from the terminal (Ile Express) or 15 minutes walk. The room was comfortable, modern with a large shower. The breakfast was nice (the breakfast staff was extremely helpful and polite).
Cons: The water glasses had not been changed (used glasses were in the cupboard) and the complimentary drinks (coffee caps and water bottle) were not there.
Cons: The restroom were dirty
Pros: Everything was excellent
Cons: Can't think of anything negative
Pros: Food was great. Beautiful views from the hotel.
Pros: Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Central location in Fort-de-France.
Cons: Mediocre breakfast: no fresh eggs or omelett, table not setup, self-service only.
Pros: The staff was very kind and friendly, all tasks have been treated with professionality. Very nice and stylish ambiance. Location in Fort de France with ocean view.
Cons: Wifi had some problems, but resolved.
Pros: The hotel is stylish, clean and well located in Fort de France.
Cons: To me it is a bit too expensive
When you a stay at Fort Savane in Fort-de-France, you'll be near the beach, just steps from Windward Islands and Schoelcher Library. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage.
Pros: The hotel has the best location in Fort de France. Overlooking the main park, a few steps away from the commuter boat dock to the other side of the bay (where you find beautiful beaches), next to the landmark library building and just a short walk from the cruise terminal. The hotel offered us consigne service for our luggage when we returned from our cruise even if we did not stay there for the night.
Pros: The studio was extremely comfortable and we could totally relax. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom was very comfortable and modern.
Cons: There were only two coffee capsules in the room. Everything else was good.
Pros: Excellent location in the very center of Fort-de-France with magnificent view over Savana Park and Fort St. Louis
Cons: Public area in front of the reception room could be more inviting; rooms are also quite noisy not so from the outside but from the inside
Pros: Perfect location on the main square, clean and modern room, comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi
Cons: We had an 8am flight so we got up at 5am to shower and pack. The water dripped and trickled and then shut off completely. Even the toilet wouldn't flush. We could not take showers and could not complain to hotel staff since their reception is closed until 9am. Bad ending to our stay.
Pros: It was central, clean interior even though we had a lot of mosquito issues. Staff was helpful, especially “Leah”. She went above and beyond.
Cons: No one working after 9pm, so if you need something no one is available to help you.
Pros: The room was spotlessly clean and the facilities were fantastic. The aircon worked well and the quiet mode was perfect for sleeping. The walls within the hotel are quite thin, so you can hear a bit of noise from the corridors, but due to the great insulation of the windows, you cannot hear much street noise at all. The location in wonderful, right next to the shuttle boats to the beach. Staff were lovely too. Overall, highly recommended.
Cons: Apparently people smoke in the reception area, which you can smell when you leave the lift. That's not so nice...
Pros: Friendly staff. Nice and modern business hotel. Located in the heart of Fort de France. Modern key system, good internet included. Everything works. Very good value selection
Cons: No bad issues...
Pros: We stayed for one night after flying in. Good location right in the heart of fort de France with lots of restaurants etc around. The bed was comfortable with good AC. Bathroom was clean and water pressure was good. We arrived a bit late but just let them know and they will be there.
Cons: There is no designated parking but there are spots around the corner. They are pay spots after 8pm and the machine wouldn’t take our cards (no money options). Also the bathroom sliding door in our room didn’t close all the way
Pros: Great staff, awesome location and modern rooms. The cleanness of the place was great. We traveled with a limited mobility person and she hadn't any trouble to be in this hotel. The location is excellent, close to everything.
Cons: The TV has only a few channels, but it was not a big deal.
Pros: We were there for a one night stay before going to the airport. The location is excellent.
Pros: Stayed for only one night as it was near the ferry terminal. Great location and easily walkable. There are also restaurants nearby which are open reasonably late. Staff was helpful, helped me check in when I arrived after hours and provided tips on nearby restaurants and transport. New and clean rooms with wifi and air conditioning.
Cons: Reception is only open certain hours - so you will need to contact the property to ensure there will be someone to let you in if you arrive early / late
Pros: Staff was very helpful. it was clean and location was good
Cons: Very very difficult to find parking. Also we had to get up at 4 AM to drive to the airport. I made sure we had coffee pods for the morning and then the coffee maker did not work.

Pros: Wonderful clean BnB property with great views across the le Lamentin mountains. Stayed one night here to be closer to the airport. Gracious super friendly host, delicious dinner. A nice quiet place to lay our heads after a busy week!
Pros: Muriel, the hostess was wonderful! Very warm welcome, and an amazing cook!
Pros: Muriel and her staff were an extraordinary encounter. They made the stay, though it was so short, one of the nicest experience I had during this trip!
Pros: We arrived 2 hours early and were able to access our room. The owner, Muriel, was very accommodating and prepared a nice meal which we totally enjoyed.
Pros: We loved the layout of the family guest room (two bedrooms with kitchenette and en suite bathroom) adjacent to the outdoor lounge and dining area. The property is just a few minutes from the airport on a hill with breezes and fruit trees. It's central location makes a convenient home base to explore all parts of the island. Muriel is gracious, fluent in multiple languages, and a gifted chef. She prepared an affordable and mouth-watering three-course dinner that was the perfect end to our first visit. We are still dreaming about her curry!
Pros: The host is awesome. Really welcoming and helpful, always willing to give advice. Following her advice we went to a bar in FdF and had a great evening.
Cons: The mattress in our room was too soft. But well, that's only what we thought.
Pros: We really liked this accommodation. The owner (Muriel) was very kind to us - she was always prepared to advice us with anything that we needed, she lent us a knife to cut the fruit that we bought and a bottle opener, she made a breakfast and a great tasty creol dinner for us. There is an amazing view to the garden (you can relax on the garden loungers). In the bathroom there are lots of shower gels and shampoos for free use, so you don't need to bring your own. We were also allowed to leave our luggage in the room until the afternoon (our flight departed at night). There is a mosquito net in the room.
Cons: The only thing that can be a little bit problematic is a traffic in the area - there tend to be traffic jams during the workdays, so be aware of that while planning your trip. But it's not the fault of the hostel.
Pros: The bed was very comfortable
Pros: The setting is gorgeous up above the city and the location is not difficult to find. It is also very close to the airport which prompted our decision to book La Colline.
Pros: The property is very beautiful, room and facilities are very clean, staff is extremely charming, frendly and helpful. I was allowed to check-in early which was a bonus for me because I arrived really tired and needed to settle in. Dinner was was very delicious. I will definitely stay there again.

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in Fort-de-France? This hotel has facilities measuring 484 square feet (45 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is ok. Easy access to the city. There was one staff member who was quiet helpful and friendly at reception. ( light skin and chubby) The cleaner was nice as well.
Cons: The hotel didn’t caterer for families. The hotel was not family friendly and room not clean. The towels and sheets both looked unwashed. We could see spots of stain on the bed cover. The rooms were very noisy at nights and difficult to get a good nights rest. We could hear furniture being moved and toilets being flushed through out the wee hours of the morning. My family and I occupied rooms 520 and 521. We will not recommend this hotel accommodation to family. I Believe in my opinion that the hotel is best suited for business tourist or heavy sleepers. It was pretty expensive and didn’t worth the monies. A very unpleasant experience.
Pros: - breakfast very good - near airport - nice view from the restaurant
Cons: - very bad price/quality ratio - old furniture, toilet equipment
Pros: The food, staff and service
Cons: The music in the hallway
Pros: Not applicable
Pros: Staff were pleasant and helpful
Cons: The room and bathroom were not very clean. Water to drink you have to pay for
Pros: It was clean, secure, well maintained, bed were somewhat comfortable but always clean and linens changed.
Cons: Location, the prices of the food, no restaurants or stores around for those needing buy outside!
Cons: Restaurant with a limited menu and no soup. Staff was friendly. I will not stay there again.
Pros: We had to leave before the breakfast hour. The desk clerk called us a taxi the night before and it was waiting for us at 5 a.m. for our ride to the airport. Excellent service that allowed us to sleep well, knowing our transportation was already arranged. We also needed a U.S. electrical plug and the desk had one we were able to borrow. Such a nice service that allowed us to charge our phones.
Pros: The restaurant is nice. Location is good too. Clean rooms and public areas. Good WiFi.
Pros: Good bed and nice breakfast
Pros: The rooms were spacious and clean. The location is convenient for Fort de France and the shopping areas by taxi. More suitable for business travellers than tourists. The staff were very helpful and friendly although few spoke any English.
Cons: The internet service was poor. It was difficult to access at times and kept cutting out.

There is a waterfront restaurant for guest dining and the hotel has multiple bars available. Sports equipment and activities are available at the property, which also hosts themed evenings to showcase traditional Creole culture and cuisine. The Hotel Bambou offers 24-hour front desk services along with vehicle hire and taxi bookings. There is a shop in the lobby area and the property has a meeting room for small events and meetings. A concierge desk is available to assist with tickets, tours, sightseeing recommendations, and other needs. There are two outdoor pools at this hotel, including one reserved for guests in a select group of rooms and suites. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided for beach use and there are two bars that provide beach service. There is also a snack bar and ice cream shop at the beach. This hotel offers free parking for guests and complimentary WiFi in all areas of the hotel. Guest laundry facilities are available (paying) and there are connecting rooms available. The guest rooms all include garden views with in-room climate control, a fridge, telephone, flat screen TV with premium channels, and a private bathroom with deluxe furnishings and amenities. Guests can choose from standard and family rooms or a collection of superior rooms and mini-suites, the latter of which feature additional living space and premium amenities.
Pros: I have stayed at this location before and it has gotten even better in time. Breakfast is nice, and half-broad is decent. I love the proximity to the beach and the vast majority of the people who work there. Most of them really go the extra mile to make guests stay an exprience to remember!
Cons: There are two things that really bug me about this hotel. First, when we checked in and paid for our reservation, the hotel held an unauthorized triple hold (the amount was nearly 2000€ extra) on my husband's credit card. This caused the cards credit limit to be maxed out. This was very inconveniencd for us, because this same card was also being used for other reservations during our trip. When we noticed this we called to our credit card company, and they confirmed that the balance was being held by the hotel and told us to contact the hotel staff to contact them. When we asked them to release the money from their accounts end certain Mr. D. at the reception refused to help us even though we repeatedly (for several days) asked for his help. Other members of the staff tried their best and were very sympathetic for this situation caused by hotels accounting servicies, but due to their positions weren't able to help us. We spent few nights on the neighbouring island and when we came back and paid for the hotel again almost same thing happened. This time it was "only" double hold (nearly 500€). This time same Mr. D. was very rude to us when we asked if the there was a possibility for an early check in. He refused it for us, but took in some other guest that arrived right after us. Let me specify that he wasn't working alone and he could have really handeled things in more respecting manner. In the end triple hold and the double hold on my hubby's card were released and they didn't take any extra money off. Though this caused temporarily lowering to the available balance and was a very unpleasant experience. The other thing that I don't like about this property is the lack of asphalt or some other paving on the parking lot. There are also some trash -like sharp glass shards- in there that are a danger for people, animals and car tires. Really wish that they would get that sorted out.
Cons: Food could have been better. Lots of variety for dinner......no variety for breakfast.
Pros: Thé bed was like the cloud
Pros: Loved how close room was to sea meals were also tasty and good value for money
Cons: Would have loved a sea view from the room and would have been nice for staff to understand english
Pros: Fantastic location, staff, and room. Was very clean and staff was super helpful
Pros: Food and service
Cons: Poor WiFi and internet connection
Pros: We liked the location at the beach. The pool behind the restaurant is very nice. The creole style of the hotel and the gardens are colourfull and nice to see.
Cons: There is a big reconstruction going on. For many cabins it is needed indeed. We booked half pension but shouldn't have done that. The food is by far not as good as in the pictures. Hospitality is not well developed here. English is spoken poorly. The WIFI functioned badly. Only in the main reception with multiple hick ups.
Pros: Check in was smooth with the staff speaking English as well as giving us one of two rooms early before check in time of 16:00. We booked into the adult only section and well worth the extra expense.. nice cottages in a row leading to a private beachside pool. We had an upper unit with spacious pitched ceiling and great outdoor covered porch. Landscaping very nice everywhere. Good walking distance to shopping. Bed was a comfortable king size. Bathroom was great with large shower. Food in hotel restaurant was good to excellent with plenty of choice changing each day. They did their best to keep food plentiful
Cons: The bar near the restaurant never seemed to be open (during the day) and the snack bar frequently ran out of food and was closed around three for they change over for dinner service. The bar in the dining room did remain open closest to beach. Nice palms near adult pool would add ambience to this area.
Pros: Loved the location, the rooms and the food! The grounds are GORGEOUS!
Cons: More comfy beds and bed linens.
Pros: good location on the beach and pool area was great.
Cons: We were put in a second story room with no assistance from a porter for our bags.
Pros: Ambiance of the property was very relaxing. Rooms while scarce are comfortable the beach was excellent. The only improvement would be not requiring dinner to be included because of the excellence of the restaurants in the area
Cons: The dinners were not as exciting as other restaurants in the area.

Cons: Too much plastic at the beach bar, knives, forks, plates etc all plastic. Why not wood? Or even normal metal cutlery , ceramic plates
Pros: Beautiful beach front location with nice onsite amenities.
Cons: It was a bit touristy and the times for when the Outside bar and lunch restaurant were open we’re not easy to follow.
Pros: The hotel property was beautiful, easy to navigate, and designed to aid in relaxation. The location was excellent—a two-minute walk to shops, restaurants, and a grocery store.
Cons: The property was slightly run down, but still a great value for the price.
Pros: The staff was remarkable and friendly, it was a pleasure to talk to Lucien and GG at the front desk. Élodie in the office was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent
Cons: Our rooms 19 and 16 need renovation , AC not cool enough! Bath tubs dirty , building is neglected !!! It is a magnificent scenery which is not enhanced due to the lack of renovation and TLC. The parking needs additional parking spaces and cramped
Pros: The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: The room was a long way from reception and on the ground floor, very close to a stagnant pool of water - perfect for mosquitoes. There was an old, broken chair outside the patio door. The reception staff were very unhelpful - I nearly missed my flight because they did not order a taxi as requested and they refused to help me recharge my phone because I did not have the correct adaptor.
Pros: Our room felt like a beach cabana being located right on the beach.
Cons: The fact that we could only spend one night there before flying home!
Pros: Entire facility and location and room ac and bed..
Cons: Lower level needs renovation and new bathroom
Pros: Location and scenery
Cons: Needs some renovation. Bathrooms in particular

Pros: There is a restaurant on property. 24 hour help desk
Cons: Room wasn't fully prepared. Floor a bit dusty.
Pros: The front desk was very friendly and I loved that, it made me feel at home
Cons: The beds were not comfortable at all and very disappointing once I got into the room, there were no soap out wash rage in the bathroom to shower
Pros: Near the airport and port terminal
Cons: Old rooms but for the price with breakfast good enough
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Cons: more pillows needed in the room
Cons: Trop standard international
Pros: Close to the marina, large bathroom.
Cons: Dated, no usb charge available. My travel adapter didn’t fit in the outlets
Pros: Dinner food truly amazing! I could come back just for the food. Kudos to kitchen team!
Cons: Bed cover probably??
Pros: The reception desk were very nice. The place was clean. And the breakfast buffet is pretty good. The WiFi is good too.
Cons: Place is a bit dated. Feels more like a dormitory than a hotel. There is no fridge in the room and no supermarket or shop within walking distance. Parking garage access is not convenient. Place seems to be popular with large groups on a budget like summer camps. So be prepared to deal with noisy kids in the hallways and cafeteria.
Pros: The breakfast was excellent.
Cons: There were two of us and one towel was provided. No remote control found for the TV. We were not given information as to how we could contact the front desk. Wifi connection difficult. Every time I tried signing in I received the message that the site was not safe.
Pros: Breakfast was great
Cons: Restaurant is closed too early at night. Further, you have to make reservation longtime in advance if you want to have dinner.
Pros: The best dinner food ever!
Cons: Coffee station available 24H?

Pros: Very near to the port in which I came in. Very quiet establishment.
Pros: Smart choice to stay a couple of nights before Cruise. Very spacious room, nice shower, comfortable bed and pillows. Good location and very good stuff, who let us leave our luggage after Cruise for all day. There was a grocery shop nearby to the hotel whis the great choice of French delicacies.
Cons: No soap or shampoo in the bathroom. In-room mosquitos.
Pros: It´s central, some steps you are in the city , on the harbours - I was not disturbed by any noises from the street at night It´was the right choice if you without a car
Cons: I missed a moskito net, I was quit stung after a few days
Pros: Staff were friendly, offering to watch luggage on day of departure. Room was clean and cozy with good AC. Nice balcony overlooking street and beach (in the distance). Very well located for main Fort de France tourist sights. Good value for money for Martinique.
Cons: Room was small but in line with reasonable price expectations. Had to walk up two floors - no elevator option.
Pros: Great place to stay for a night or two. Very basic, but clean and everything worked. Staff was nice. I really enjoyed walking the Fort-de-France and checking out the shops. Close the the L'Expresse Des Iles Ferry. My reason for going.
Pros: This is the hotel for short stays or transfers. Very convenient clean safe and quiet. On a side street so little to no traffic noise. Less than a block to mass transit. The mosaik airport bus costs eu$1.45 and it takes 20 minutes door to door which is a plus during heavy traffic which could double that time easily. Costs double to pay on bus which is more like train given dedicated lane. If I were in Martinique more than two days would stay in beach area like trois ilets or anse. Super friendly helpful staff.
Pros: The hotel was clean and well kept, and the staff was SUPER helpful and friendly. The structure itself was small and cramped, but clean and well kept. I may just not be used to that boutique, hostel style setting...so i felt a little cramped and personally uncomfortable. But it served its purpose and we were able to stay two nights with no issues.
Cons: The age of the building itself and condition of the neighborhood....a little rundown.
Pros: I was there for a one night stay before heading to the airport. Although the building is not modern it was exceptionally clean and the people working there were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent - only one short block from the main square.
Pros: Great location to cruise port and downtown Martinique with lots of restaurants, shop the park and a beach close by.
Pros: Great location, very close to everything. Small place no crowded. Very nice, staff.
Located in Trois-Ilets (Pointe du Bout), Carayou Hôtel & Spa is within a 10-minute walk of Pointe du Bout Beach and Anse Mitan. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. This hotel has 3 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The furniture in reception
Cons: It was expensive in my view and the room was small with no fridge or kettle - no privacy on the terrace
Pros: It is not a luxurious hotel but it's clean and cute, and bedding is comfortable. The staff is nice and tries to help. The beach and pools are great.
Cons: The wifi was sporadic and weak, some of the sliced fruits in the breakfast bar were rotten and not removed (for 3 days, I had to dig to the middle or back of the display to get my slices of pineapple with no brown). I had to change room because of a serious leak in the AC system and no-one could move my luggage from the non-functioning room to the new room. I was given a new key to move myself and when I asked if they could put my luggage back in the original room after repair (I was there on a convention and was not around during the day), I was told that there was no one to do it. But with the "island state of mind", it didn't bother me too much.
Pros: Sea view from balcony is stunnig. Very good location, close to several lunch, dinning possibilities and small shops. Might be crowded in season.
Cons: The hotel rooms need a maintenance.
Pros: Good breakfast. Nice location near the top of Pointe du Bout.
Cons: Air condition in room was insufficient, more noise than cooling. Dinner was of mediocre quality, better alternatives available near the hotel.
Pros: good location, perfect parking and nice staff
Cons: poor breakfest, room smells not fine, beach small and not clean :(
Pros: great location and great staff
Cons: old building, not very comfy
Cons: Lot’s of mosquitoes in the room, VERY expensive for what it offered.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Old and not very clean

Pros: breakfast was ok, i like the variety of teas.
Cons: friendliness of staff could be better, they needed a strong english speaking person to commuicate with non french guest.
Pros: Very nice breakfast, nice stuff working here. The location us very good.
Pros: I like the location. Convenient for food, transport to airport, boats to other parts of the island, and a staff there at reception all through the night
Cons: The electricity cuts off once in a while, and the rooms a slightly small in comparison to what I am use to in the US.
Pros: Really cool old style hotel, but didnt feel run down just old style and well done. Great view over a lively little park with restaurants and bars and music and dancing. Short walk to the waterfront including a beach by the fort. Great staff.
Cons: There was a lot of street noise as we stayed on a week night, so Friday morning deliveries and also garden work, was pretty loud from about 5 am. Be prepared for that, with earplugs if that bother you.
Pros: the colonial interieur
Cons: There is a lot of noise in the hotel. Management should take action. Staff isn't specially welcoming. rooms are so small: it isn't possible to open the door of the bathroom.
Cons: microscopic rooms, not very hygiene, staff does not know how to be polite, they can take your belongings, decide to remove your buggage from the room - I went for lunch and agreed with the receptionist that by the time I'm back I'll pack my luggage and check-out. Instead, by the time I was back they took my belonging, put them into luggage, move the luggage to downstairs (at reception), and have broken my luggage (the zip is not functioning any more). They not only refuse to pay, but also lied to me that the luggage was already locked and they only removed it from the room. Not decent people. Even besides that, there is no single reason to stay in that hotel.
Pros: Location was great - right across from the park and near the ferry and town center. Room was modern, clean, and quiet - I didn't have the noise issues that other people reported.
Cons: One of the ladies at the front desk was not very helpful at all regarding information about the city. No electrical adapters to borrow if you forgot yours. I had the small single room on the 5th floor. It was quiet, but it was difficult to control the temperature - the room tended to get very hot and the air conditioner could barely keep up.
Pros: Julia the manager was incredible, she was so good to us we can't say thank you enough! We will be back!
Cons: The bed was huge, the room was tiny, however it's a very old building, so we get it, maybe a queen bed or a Murphy bed would give the illusion of more space. :)) we loved this hotel
Pros: WELL SITUATED
Cons: HAD NO REFRIGERATOR NO RESERVED PARKING
Pros: Great stay for 1 or 2 nights in Fort de France in town. Everything is within walking distance. The park is great just across the street if something is going on there. Short walk to Ferry and Shops.
Cons: Hotel Staff wasn't amazingly friendly. You can easily hear through the rooms and everything that is going on in the hall way as well as outside. Take some ear plugs.
Pros: Old style Hotel but clean and helpful staff and comfortable bed with plenty of hot water. Not the hotels
Cons: Not really the Hotels problem but park workers with leaf blowers in the park opposite start at 4am so impossible to sleep after that.
Pros: Wonderful breakfast. Nice colonial interior design.
Cons: All was fine
