Pros. Room was surprisingly nice and we got the fourth floor with a great view of the ocean. Bed was comfy and bathroom was immaculate. Fridge was super cold which was great for our drinks. Process of checking in and paying was super easy. Relaxed card policy was a huge stress relief because the travel site said credit only and they accommodated my debit card with no holds.
Cons. Minor issues around the room; lampshade was damaged, some odd stains on the ceiling, bathroom door was janky, and the entry door handle was sticking. Also, maybe a table on both sides of the bed and TV in a different place. But honestly it was a lovely local hotel so we didn't need to complain. Just found some of the small issues funny more than anything
Pros. The location was everything. Couldn't beat the location. They provided a fan, which was awesome. Plenty of towels etc.
Cons. Room maintenance. The outlets were literally hanging from the walls, holes in the shower ceiling and bathroom door. Entry door hinges rusted and no extra safety chain or safety bar. Door would loosely and loudly rattle anytime someone on entire floor closed their door. It was "cleaned" before we arrived but when I wiped down with lysol wipes (Covid-19 precaution) they all came back dirty. Had to use multiple wipes on each surface before it was clean. Thankfully I brought both wipes for surfaces spray for beds. I sprayed every inch of beds 3 times before letting family touch. The beds were the worst ever. Hands down. Most uncomfortable beds ever from any hotel at any location I've been to and this was our 4th trip to Seaside. The only reason we didn't book at previous places was availability. For the prices charges they should really invest in maintenance.

Pros. The hotel was very clean and comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was really good, and they had free fresh baked cookies in the lobby every evening. They had free movie rentals from the lobby, and I was impressed with the green packaging and utensils in hotel rooms and at breakfast. Right on the beach and only a short walk to downtown areas. The desk staff was super nice and recommended a restaurant on our dietary need's. Highly recommend this hotel.
