Location The room was dated, fairly clean but the age of the room made it feel less comfortable
Location right on the Boardwalk. Room was not cleaned well and didn't smell so good. Left the room for not even an hour in the morning, put the do not disturb sign on the door and the maid entered the room anyway. All she did was put out her tip envelope. My first tip, listen to your customer.
Room had great view. Stay was unremarkable. They own an entire parking garage across the street. Short staffed at front desk. Pushy cleaning people on checkout day.
Room had an excellent view. Kid friendly spacious rooms. Bathrooms were small but were useable.
This hotel was right on the boardwalk and in the middle of the everything which is what we were looking for. The hotel is 100% smoke free so you can't even smoke on the balcony and you sign a paper saying they'll charge you $150 if you smoke.
liked the view. liked the location around 22nd st. The bed was the worst. Both beds were bad. The shower was too small for two, tub was too small for two.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the hotel about 6 hours before the actual check in time(4:00) because we wanted to go to the beach. Staff was able to have our room ready by 1:00 which was awesome and we were totally not expecting it. Ocean view from our room was beautiful and we had a side room too! We have a room with 2 queen size bed and the room was pretty large with a nice balcony. Beds were not very comfortable and anytime I moved it was extremely loud. I felt like I couldn't turn from side to side without waking up the other person in the bed next to me. Bathroom was tiny, but honestly it did the job and was clean. Room walls are pretty thin that u can hear the room next door a lot. Especially when they would open or close their room door.
The location was great enjoyed our breakfast at the restaurant on the 6th floor. We sat out on the patio. You can not beat the view. We were in the 9th floor. The balcony arent private and if your neighbor is skinny enough or a child they can waltz right over. The towels were dirty. There was still make up on the one and the same brown spot on all of the towels. Our room it's self was pretty clean despite what other reviews might say.
Convenient and restaurants down stairs
This hotel had everything you could needed; coffee shop, clothing store, bar, spa, waterfront access. The room was spacious and clean. I am under 21 and needed to get my parents to fill out a paper and provide a credit card, which is something I didn't find out until I went to check in. That was a huge hassle. But the people at the front desk let us check in before we provided the papers which was kind. Also they have a few 15 minutes spaces in front of the hotel and their towing staff just sits there with timers waiting for yours to go off. I think that's rude considering we're paying guests and checking in shouldn't take 15 minutes so if it does, it's probably the hotels fault.
We loved the balcony and oceanfront view. The pool and pool bar are awesome and staff very friendly. Room was clean. Decor is outdated but I cant hold that against them. Staff is friendly. The hotel is smoke-free but they provide smoking areas with seating and ashtrays just outside the doors which is nice for us smoke-when-we-drink types. Location is great except its near the end of the boardwalk so walking with kids towards the Jolly Rancher rides and other boardwalk attractions is a huge hike. Kids were looking forward to the big chess set in the activity room and me and my sister were thrilled about having access to the gym. Both need serious renovations. The chess set pieces are broken and dirty and the gym is tiny and not well equipped. The machines are circa 1980 with some rust. The water cooler tray was slimy. The candy the kids won in the arcade was stale and nasty. They provided shampoo but no conditioner. We were annoyed when we needed more coffee and were told to come to the front desk to get it instead of someone delivering it to the room. We paid a little too much to be retrieving our own staples.
Location is good. Wallpaper peeling off of walls in several areas of the room and bathroom. No fan in bathroom . A/C was extremely loud, kept us awake. No supplies in kitchenette (detergent, cloths, towels). No receipt was given when asked for.
Ocean-front views. Difficulty in making reservation & in getting a fixed price! Surly staff person at check-in. Gave us room on floor 5, despite request for higher floor. Room had a second queen-size bed: why?? No chair, other than straight-back for desk. No place to watch TV except from 2nd bed. Noisy fridge and blower in bathroom. No one at registration desk to provide info or "key" to enter exercise room. Breakfast buffet price ($17) is exorbitant! Hotel website did NOT mention that OC was celebrating St. Patrick's Day with parade, one week early! Hotel provided no means for written feedback. In general, overpriced, living on laurels from another time.
beachfront was perfect every room has balcony overlooking the beach, and only one block from the end of the boardwalk. got a room with two beds and I am used to a king size so it seemed small to me. that's just my preference
Great view Great porch Great beach access Pool area needed supervision No bell hops Free coffee should stay til 9 Bar food was very average
Good location After checking in we dropped our luggage at the room and went to the beach for an hour and a half .returned to the room to find our carpet next to the bed soaked . I go to the front desk to let them know to find out that they don't have anothere room to put us in and they would send maintenance up to check on the ac unit. We waited to get dressed for dinner until the maintenance man came and all he did was remove the water with a shop vac and said he would let the desk know what was going on and that's all they could do. I followed up with the desk and the supervisor on duty said there is nothing they could do. I asked for the manger and was told he was in a meeting and not available. So my floor was soaked my entire stay at the dunes and the staff basically said deal with it. I paid way too much money to just deal with. I would not recommend staying there again. Poor management and an inconvenience when you only have a few vacation days Also they placed me in a handicap equipped room . They made me feel as though I was being punished for booking on the Web
Winter prices are amazing compared to their summer rates. Everything was extremely clean and the the view from our 7th floor room was outstanding.
Rooms very clean, staff was great. The wife loved the afternoon tea. Convienient location, all rooms are ocean front. I liked everything about the hotel.
Access to beach and boardwalk a plus Did not receive maid service, sheets were dirty/stained, sand throughout sheets, no beach/ocean view from first floor. Parking limited. Suites not located in hotel, building across street. Love the hotel, but won't stay in suites again. Expected more from Dunes Manor
Great location - looking out from the room's balcony, you can see that the end of the boardwalk is only a block away. Great view of the beach/ocean. Room was EXACTLY like the picture, very clean and spacious. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others. Never was I disappointed or let down by anything; it's was really the opposite, I kept being pleasantly surprised.
Beautiful property and courteous, attentive staff. No Internet and room service in the adjoining property. That wasn't disclosed at check in or in the in-room instructions.
The view and location, staff was good Bed small
Very nice room, friendly housekeeping Poor front desk staff, room over an hour late to be ready (4:15p for a 3p check-in)
Clean Rooms, Excellent helpful staff. Perfect for a quick getaway or an extended stay. Highly recommend the Ocean View, with no boardwalk it is quite peaceful. nothing
Our room was very spacious and clean. Staff was super nice. Great location! Only complaint was that the coffee at the convenience store was super old and gross looking. Other than that this was a great value!
The staff was very friendly. Our suite was very clean and comfortable. I'd definitely recommend to friends travelling to Ocean City.
The bed was rock hard
On the beach and clean and orderly with great ocean front rooms and kitchenettes as an option. Restaurant food is okay. Coffee and meals suffer from lack of refined flavor and enthusiasm. But, still a good value for getting a place on the beach with nice rooms.
What isn't to like? A good restaurant. Bars by the beach, pool, and comedy club. A wonderful seafood buffet. Indoor pool if it nasty outside complete with a small arcade. Plenty for the kids to do. Nothing . I love the place. Something about it makes you feel like a king. I plan on returning.
Didn't like it Didn't like it dirty housekeeping issues electrical outlets falling off the walls exhaust fan did not work in 2 rooms unfriendly people needs renovation desperately
Tempur pedic mattress! Kitchen in the room, with dishwasher! Very convenient and open pool area Friendly bartenders Oceanfront (sort of) Pricing Supermarket, coffee shop, bar, and restaurant all within walking distance Somewhat deceptive ocean front. The hotel has a massive indoor pool/lounge area. Many of the rooms overlook this area, not the outside or the beach. However this wasn't a totally bad thing since it was pretty cool and windy outside, being Memorial Day weekend.
Location A/C didn't work. Ice Rink closed
Too much noise all day long around the ice skating rink
The amenities were nice. Nice size pool. Nice out door bar and view of the beach. The rooms were a nice size. We drove all through the night and checked in at 2. The woman at the front desk was so rude. We did not know our room wasn't going to be ocean so I went down to the desk to ask for a new room. She kept trying to tell me that since I booked it on hotels.com that there was nothing she could do. After my fiancé went down she immediately changed it for him. She was incredibly rude to me. Will not stay here again because of customer service was horrible. For paying an additional 120 for our room I would expect more customer service from a resort like that
Good value through Kayak. Decent fitness center, indoor pool( outdoor too), room was clean, staff very friendly (Kudos shout out to Meisha) and helpful. Although the room was a little outdated in decor, the bed seemed fairly new and was very comfortable. choose a street or ocean facing room and you will avoid the loud music from the ice rink/recreation area. Outdated rooms. Shower head rusty, tub nozzle caulking broken away from wall.
The location was central to a few eateries and a movie theater. I did like that there was an additional parking deck nearby free of charge to guests. There was a microwave, fridge and decent cable in the room. There was a snack stand on main floor with a variety of choices nearby the ice skating rink. Loved the idea of free beach chairs to hotel guests as well. Didn't get a chance to utilize the other amenities but there was plenty to do which is awesome for families. The cleanliness of the room was questionable from the bathtub to the carpet. The hotel can be updated. The noises from next door after 1 am was ridiculous. We got trapped in the elevator 2 twice on two separate days 20 minutes each time. Then we had to ask for housekeeping each day to replace linens used. The staff can use a refresher on customer service.
All the friendly staff, and food was good. There was half of a dead rat on the hallway my toddler stepped on it. !!
Has everything you need. It has more than just the basics in the room. The room was clean and there were ample pillows. My room was spacious. The bathroom was small but clean and functional. The beds were hard.
The staff was just ridiculous. I received attitudes from more than half of the staff I encountered on my stay there. They also made me wait three hours for my room to be ready and when I asked questions they continued to pass me on to the next rude staff member. When they finally gave me the keys to the room my keys were at the bottom of a pile of room keys suggesting my room had been ready for some time. They should be ashamed by the way they treated me and my friends during our stay. I won't be coming back to that hotel.
I can honestly say nothing at all. Terrible place!!!! Check was crazy and unorganized. Had to wear flip flops in the shower. Tried to check out early due to cleanliness and horrible customer service. Wouldn't recommend at 49.00 dollars a night. Complete nightmare. Every customer was saying the same. This place needs new management and a complete overhaul.
Oven front bar and live singer
It was a beautiful hotel and wld love to stay there again.
No daily housekeeping
We had an ocean view and it was lovely. The jacuzzi in our suite did not live up to our expectations.
The hotel is one of the only comfortable places to stay in Ocean City..most hotels are old and uncomfortable! They did not vaccuum the floor and the Boardwalk stops only a few blocks before reaching the hotel...it would be nice if they build the boardwalk further!!!
I have stayed in a number of hotels in OC over the years and this one is at the top. I loved their spacious rooms and the indoor pool. The staff was courteous and helpful. Probably my only minor complaint is that the maid service tended to run late into the day. We got back to our suite at 3:30 pm and the room had not been made up yet.
The suite was beautiful and ocean front the sound of the ocean and the view was beautiful. close to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very helpful and friendly. the suite was very clean and modern. just the mattress was a little firm for my back, but everything was great.
A great hotel if you have kids with you. Indoor pool, exterior pool, beach / seaside, very close to everything within Ocean City and close to Assateague Island.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel. The staff was kind, the room was spacious and felt homey, and the location was great. There are 12 floors, and our view from the 9th floor balcony was beautiful. On the first night we stayed my boyfriend and I somehow found a way to lock ourselves out of it however. After placing a call to the front desk, not even 10 minutes later two service men were in our room opening the door, and went as far as to show us how to prevent it happening again. Everything met, and often exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be using this hotel in the future! One of, if not the best in OCMD. Can't think of anything
Restaurant was fantastic. Not like any other hotel restaurant but you don't need to stay here to take advantage of it. Room was very clean. Staff was not friendly or accommodating. Fire alarm woke everyone up around 730am. Beds were tolerable. Hallways need air fresheners or a dehumidifier because they were musty.
The location was perfect. Just steps from the beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Incredibly convienient to restaurants and stores. The in-hotel restaurant and deli are absolutely delicious. And pretty moderately priced for the quality of the food. The water pressure in the shower is pretty awesome!
We love the hotel, great location and very clean, this was the second time for us. We had a little hick up upon check in but this was handled professionally and satisfying for us! We had a great time! Thank you
Location to beach and surrounding attractions. Minutes from downtown OC and Fenwick Island. A bit busy on the Memorial Day weekend as lots of young people were checking in / staying.
The location, beach access and kitchenette. Some of the staff greeted us with a grunt and no eye contact. Almost annoyed that we asked a question! On check out a staff member had be sign an account which was not mine, for more than double the amount! I asked her to please check with the guest before handing them the incorrect paper work. I asked her to tear up the incorrect signed bill...she looked at me like I was the crazy one!!!???? That said, some of the younger staff member seemed a little more friendly and approachable.
The ocean view was lovely, and the hotel stay was great. I really enjoyed myself and my family did as well. Everything , the room and the ocean view was lovely.
Outdoor pool area and location are the only reason I would ever come back Paid close to $900 to be a guest Memorial Day weekend (Thursday-Monday) and did not arrive until 4:00 Monday morning so one day i essentially did not use the room and 1 out of the 2 or 3 days I only received house keeping. The other days all that was done was a change of the towels. Bed linens were never changed (makeup on pillow case still), beds were never made, toilet paper was never changed when empty and room looked atrocious. When this was brought up to the front desk on Sunday it was around 6 when I had just gotten back for the day and at that point my guest and I wanted to unwind before we went out so for house keeping to come up was pointless. The following day when I checked out I was told by management there was nothing he could do because I booked through a third party, however when I contacted the third party who contacted the manager I received a 50 dollar refund. 900 dollars was spent and I only received 50 dollars back when it my opinion not everything I paid for was included. I don't follow especially since one of the days I had reserved the room I never even used it! Not to mention the coffee pot was broken and it took 12 hours for us to receive a new one. Our refrigerator leaked which we did not notice until Sunday night when we got back from being out, but had house keeping actually cleaned maybe it would have been seen before. Prior to all of this I had planned on staying at this location again but after my experience and my experience when I expressed how unsatissfied I was, I'm not so sure. I would rather give another hotel my business in hopes that I am treated the way a guest should be. I go to school for hospitality management so these scenarios or ones similar to these are all things students are taught and how to hand as a means of avoiding the non return guest.
Location Needs remodeling
I got what I asked/payed for. The view. The hammocks.
This is situated just over the dunes from the beach with included parking. We stayed in a suite which really needs updating. The couch was orange and office like. The place was clean but you just didn't get a pristine feel to it. We were close to the stairs and bar which made it loud mornings and evenings. The rugs felt worn as was the dated furniture.
Proximity to beach. Fresh fruit drinks at bar. Great music. Friendly staff. Lots of activities-cornhole, volleyball, music, happy hour. Pool bathroom needs attention. The facility is older but out room was clean. I will return
The room was super clean and parking was easy. The location is awesome and it made for a great stay. The fan in the bathroom didn't work well so the steam from showers built up a ton, the air was always very thick after a shower.
Room was nicer than I expected, clean and well furnished. No view or balcony, but wasn't expecting that at the rate I got. Good location on beach. Lots of families and young singles. Plenty of activities for both. I didn't eat there so can't speak to dining. Only problem was finding a place to park for check in. Minor issue.
A somewhat retro environment (actual keys instead of cards), but large, clean room. Right on the ocean, on-site restaurant/bar and near many other attractions. Safe parking area. No conditioner provided (conditioning shampoo is not the same), slow elevator and funky, scratchy bedspread.
On the beach Old stayed in room 508 water leak in ceiling wallpaper seams peeling a/c loud racket coming from it
Very nice hotel for the money, close to the beach but still away from all the crowds on the boardwalk!
The large room and full kitchen!! Close enough to the beach. Nice surroundings!! No hot tub. Pool wasn't very deep!
would gave been great to know about the "no warning, no questions asked, no party policy" befirehand, especially since we were in ocean city for a bachelorette party. Also the lady at the front desk was training and checking in at 5 pm took FOREVER.
Our room had a full refrigerator, microwave and sink which was great for bringing along food and drinks. The extra pull out couch was a nice touch. We were less than a block from the beach and they had an outside shower. Our housekeeper was very responsive and sweet. There were restaurants and breakfast places within walking distance but you had to take the bus to night clubs and the boardwalk. There are no separations between the balconies so you can see everyone on your floor. The front desk staff was knowledgeable but not especially friendly.
Wonderful time. Hotel was clean. Staff was amazing!
People were smoking pot and partying inside the hotel room. We reported it 3 different times and nothing was done
Really enjoyed the location and was surprised at the cleanliness of the facilities given the price. Only complaint was the comfort of the beds. This is very knit picky but my overall experience was really good.
Price, resteraunt, room size. Cloudy pool. Poor repairs visible. Needs updated.
It was good for the one night stay no problem The water drain slow in the bathtub
The Cali King bed, the large room and decent size bathroom. Peaky's roof top restaurant on the 8th floor. Very convenient to public transportation, the northside O.C. beach, and other mini golf and restaurant venues. Overall The Fenwick is not over run with kids, making it an excellent choice for adults looking for less touristy boardwalk bs and more space, peace and quite. Adequate on site parking. The outside of room windows are so filthy, that it obscures ones vision and at times even the sun. Water pressure leaves a little to be desired. The breakfast is great at Peaky's rooftop restaurant located on the 8th floor of the Fenwick! But somebody needs to run a vacuum up there occasionally. "Some" members of the front desk staff only smile or speak when spoken too. So don't look for voluntary directions, advice, etc. should it be needed, cause you won't be asked.
Everything was good pool hot tub staff cleaning people No smoking rooms
Not much at all. The room was spacious I guess?? Shower did not work, almost no water came out when put into shower mode and the hotel was not willing to do anything about it. They sent a "maintenance man" who told us to jiggle the lever a little and that should help, but it didn't. Then when I went down to the desk they said they were completely booked and suggest to jump in the pool. I would have left but by that time, any other vacancy in Ocean City was going to be $500 or more per night. The bed is lousy and like laying on springs, the AC unit couldn't keep up with the sun glaring in the windows until nightfall, there was someone else's hair in the bathroom, and just an overall run-down feel to the place. No exhaust fans in the bathroom, not even sure this is up to code? I would not suggest this.
it was comfortable and clean and the ocean and beach is right across the street and down a block. it was nice. this is no where near the boardwalk, so if you want to walk the boardwalk, you will want something closer, but you can drive to the boardwalk.
LOVED THE HEATED POOL AND HOT TUB! This was one of the best amenities I have ever had in my life. The pool felt around 78-80 degrees and was perfect considering the time of year (January) and the Hot Tub was ridiculously hot. They offer towels there too so it is easy to dry off. Bathroom and bed were adequate and I have no complaints there. Fridge, microwave, and TV all worked fine. The staff was also friendly. Indoor Mini golf place is a block or two away. Pet friendly (can be good or bad) Arcade in the building: games include pinball, two person shooter, Fast and furious Tokyo Drift, Claw machine, and a few others which I found irrelevant. I stayed 2 nights for $95 and I would come here again in a heart beat for that price. As a broke college student, this place will always be the first place I look in the future if the pricing stays around the same. These are all very minor: You are at 137th street which is good 10/15 min drive to the boardwalk. Hotel restaurant/bar closes in Nov - April (but that's to be expected, imo) Not many bars around to where you can walk back, especially in the winter season. Pet friendly (can be good or bad) Shower/bath water pressure went in-and-out sometimes You can hear others talking and door slamming outside your room.
So, the place was relatively nice, me and my girlfriend didn't check in until late , so we didn't get to see the pool or hot tub facilities, every employee we interacted with was very kind and courteous, the issues we had we're dealing with water pressure, the hot didn't work on anything more than a trickle, and when we attempted to run a bath it was coming out both the spicket and shower head. The wifi worked fine with lots of buffering on Netflix and streaming services, I only paid 50 dollars for a night, so my issues are not that big of a deal in comparison to price, but I figured I'd divulge the information to others.
For sure a family hotel! There's really no place to take your pet for a walk. They say pet friendly but you have to wait till the sun goes down or go in the morning over a few streets to find some grass.
What hotel in this day doesn't have an iron/ironing board in the room; not even a blow dryers. Restaurant on premises shut down and staff didn't even have a wine key to open a bottle of wine we had to buy across the street. Just sloppy
Location Getting my room late, the towels had fuzzy stuff , when you wipe off from the shower, trash sitting a long time on the floors , before they move it out, and the smell, and the water in my tub only goes down after I shower, and the water goes from hot to cold
Stayed here for four nights for a family reunion in South Bethany. There were five of us, incl. 3 grown children, and we had plenty of room (blowup mattress plus 2 double beds). The location was ideal, walking distance to many food places, plus a straight shot into South Bethany or Ocean City. Staff was very friendly. The beds were extremely comfy, especially all the pillows! Great water pressure (key when you have all 5 showering for the same event) and plenty of walking space in the room, even with the mattress set up all day. On our final night we finally made it up to the rooftop bar for a farewell drink -- wish we had gone up sooner! The refrigerator's freezer compartment did not refreeze our ice bottles, which was a real disappointment when we were doing the beach each day in 90+ degree weather. We used the ice machine instead, which worked well, but would have preferred the frozen ice bottles to save on water. We notified the front desk on day 2, but did not have it fixed before leaving on day 5. We loved having access to coffee 24/7, but the cups were a mere 6 ounces, so we were always grabbing at least two each (not too economical). Picky negatives since the stay overall exceeded expectations...
Nice rooms, view.. Value for money
I was very pleased when we opened the door to our room. It was very clean and the bathrooms were nice, with updated rooms.very pleased with how much parking was offered and how close to the beach we were. For the price I expecting nothing more and nothing less. After everyone got showers and having the bathing suits hanging to dry, I found the ventilation to be awful. We were on ground floor so we could not open windows, not sure if other rooms above could open their windows or not, but it would have been very helpful. It was quite hard to sleep with the humidity in the room. I would like to say I would stay again because of how nice the hotel actually was. But I had a hard time sleeping smelling moisture all night.
Great service and very clean!!! Gym could be updated a tad
Checkin was quick, our room clean and well furnished with coffee pot, microwave and refrigerator. We have stayed here several times in the past and look forward to our next visit.
Staff real nice
Very nice rooms and staff. clean and not too much noise at night. Nice pool too. The Dennys resturaunt next door left a little to be desired, long wait time to get seated even though there were lots of empty tables. need better management, definatly need a better place to eat breakfast. You need to go across the street to get to the beach which was not too bad.
Over all, the value for the price was good. The beach was just across the street with ample parking space at the hotel. Front desk staff was friendly. My friend threw up all over the toilet and floor and I cleaned most of it in the morning before we left to the beach. When we came back, the bathroom and room seemed to have been cleaned but it reeked of the smell of regurgitation and when looking closely the floor, toilet, and side part of tub was not cleaned properly.. Soo pretty much all they did was "basic cleaning" --making the bed, wiping off counter, and hanging up towels..not very clean
The room was very clean, including the bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was great and definitely worth it!
Cleaner than I expected.Price was great. Staff was great and professional. Takes wile for water in shower to heat up And the trim for the shower diverter was from a different brand of diverter. A cheap fix instead of just installing a whole new diverter. No big deal for me but might be confusing for some people on the shower operation. Room 350 FYI.
Good location and good staff One of the latches on the celling fail off and rust and dirt fail off on to the floor at 6am. The curtains were broken, the room right beside us had kids screaming and crying and had a dog that barked ever time we moved in the room.
Excellent and accommodating staff, Nice room with a comfortable bed, balcony and beautiful view of the boardwalk and ocean, very reasonable rate. Most of the hotel's facilities were closed, due to the off-season.
I was really excited to stay here. Upon arrival, the location of the hotel was perfect! I go in to check in, there is no one in the lobby and I literally stood at the desk for 8 minutes before being helped. Finally a girl comes around and says she didn't see me; not a problem, she gets me in and up to the room we go. Once we enter you are literally right on the boardwalk, great view! We drop the bags and go out to dinner reservations we had as we were in a rush didn't even look at the room. Once we get back I notice while getting ready for bed there is black mold everywhere lining the room. We go to close the blinds for bed and literally 100+ nats coming flying out. I called the front desk immediately, he literally said "can I call you right back", and 2 minutes later I have a housekeeper I would assume in my room with a can of Raid! She couldn't even believe how many there were! On top of that, a dirty rag came from under the blinds. Something that was obviously missed. I told the housekeeper that I was not sleeping in a room with this many bugs and certainly not after spraying Raid. She leaves and I get a call " do you want to switch rooms" I responded yes, I am told to come down and they will give me new keys. I get to the desk, there is NO apology which is honestly what makes me so mad about this experience. I get to the new room, and the keys they just gave me- don't work. I go back down, and she re-keys and sends me on my way. Again, no apology it's 11:30 at night and I'm ready for bed. I'm now bothered to the point where it's hard to sleep. The most annoying part is had I gotten the room they switched me to, to start with we wouldnt of had a problem as this room was exactly the same but actually CLEAN. I'd like to say this seems like a nice play to stay and we just had bad luck with the room, however the behavior from the staff really bothered me. If management would like to reach out, I have plenty of pictures and videos of the first room. Room 503 definetly needs some work.
The room was very nice and clean. The wifi was absolutely terrible. The outlets where in weird places.
Clean and reasonably priced
Upon check in, we were greeted by friendly staff, and given an upgrade to a larger room. The room was nice, very appropriate for a beach vacation. The location was perfect, close enough to walk to pier(about 15 min), but also far enough away from the massive pier crowds. We got $10 coupons (one for each day we were there) for the restaurant attached to the hotel, which was fabulous! We did have an issue that was promptly resolved with staff, and management went out of their way to accommodate us. This in no way is the fault of the hotel, but be aware that since this hotel is located next to the beach there may be extra crowds, traffic. We had a car alarm going off several times throughout the stay. This, of course, goes along with the atmosphere of Ocean City.
This was our first time staying at the Paradise Plaza Inn. We will stay here again. The location is awesome. It is right on the Boardwalk, and beach, and close to everything. There are even several stores right in the hotel. We had a semi-Oceanview room, on the fourth floor. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and taking in the salt air, while watching the sand and surf. The hotel staff is super friendly. The staff was beyond helpful, accommodating and friendly. The Queen beds were comfortable and super clean. Room service keeps everything fresh, clean and fun; as they turn your towels into animals! The rooms are surprisingly spacious and felt new.
We went to the beach on a whim. We found this hotel reasonably priced on Kayak. It turned out great. Room was great - right on the boardwalk. Staff was excellent. We had a great time. Nothing... everything was good.
Staff was very hospitable and pleasant. The location on the boardwalk was very convenient to all attractions. Lovely oceanfront view, the balcony glass doors were clean and clear, definitely maintained. This cannot be said for some of the other boardwalk hotels. Nice "Bath & Body works" brand toiletries. A bit dated, spots in carpet and dim bathroom, but this did not affect our stay. If we stayed during peak season and paid the rack rate, would expect a more up to date facility.
Clean and comfortable. No issues with noise on a packed weekend. It was expensive, but also a relatively late single night booking during the summer.
it was very close and convenient for our MSEA convention Our room (an even number) was not bay front.
The location was good for us..close enough, but far away enough. Contrary to another comment about the breakfast, I thought it was great. I've eaten at many hotels that include breakfast and this was one of the better.. The sausage was turkey, pre done cheese omelettes, fresh fruit and whole wheat bread, prefect for me. The staff was friendly..
Convenient A little noisy.
Great location Some staff wasn't the friendliest. I wasn't able to add the stay to my rewards account to get points. Breakfast vouchers were not applied to Bill. Just felt a rushed irritating experience. Will consider somewhere else next time
No maid service on day 1 and a half done job on day 2
The room was very hot both of the nights we stayed there despite us putting the AC as low as we could.
The beds were the most comfortable that I have slept in in OC. The view was awesome. They brought up ramps for my husband's wheelchair to get onto the balcony. We will stay there again. One of our more memorable trips. Our room was not ready when we arrived at 3:50pm. The tile floor was still wet and very slippery. While packing up to leave I found a infant's medicine syringe under the bed. I think that most of these problems were due to them rushing to get us in our room. Also no parking available for anyone due to guests who already checked out not leaving OC until later that evening. We were comped breakfast for our stay and some drinks. Overall we were delighted with our stay.
It was my first time staying at this hotel in Ocean City and it was fantastic! The price was great, the staff was super nice and our room was very spacious. Comfortable beds, clean room, amazing ocean view from our private balcony. I was happy that the room had a well appointed kitchen so that we could cook some meals there, instead of eating out for every meal. Very close to lots of shops and restaurants. Would definitely book there again. The only thing that I didn't really like was that the outdoor pools and hot tub were not yet open for the season (we visited May 1-4).
Buffet was great and the staff were attentive . Second year in a row for a winter valentines day get away . Nice to have a good seafood buffet onsite in the wintertime
Location, short walk to the beach Room 316 was awful. Overlooked leaking hvac system. Looked out the window to a view of a roof with empty beer cans and cigarette butts. Room was dirty found dirty plates and utensils throw behind the couch.
The room was spacious with a legitimate 4 star feel for a beach resort property. Friendly and accommodating staff. Everything in the room worked fine. A special plus are the multiple food venues onsite; snack shop, cafe/sports bar and fine dining. It's any easy choice for on and off season.
It's very bad hotel.carpets not clean and aisles are not clean either. Its Abad hotel I will not coming a gain
location to the shore, great staff. very inexpensive for the demographic and time of the year (New Year's Eve). Dining room staff is very, very good at attending customers. very dated. The Moen shower head needs replacing, carpeting is very old--worn out and dark in high traffic areas. Actual positioning of the building is not great-facing north/south..staring at adjacent hotels vs. an in-line view of the ocean. Can smell a strong odor of smoke in the hallway (had to change room once).
Happy hour beach bar and especially the band Difficult to get. Elevator at busy part of weekend
