It was clean and convenient. There was a big bathroom area. It was close to commercial streets. Enjoyable for solo travelers who want to experience capsule hotel.
The pillows were not so comfortable but otherwise the bed area was fine.
The whole system is well thought out and easy to follow. The bed is comfortable as is the capsule temperature. The bathroom facilities are very good - I love the toilet seat that rises to greet me. The lockers are big.
There is nowhere to sit, nowhere to socialise or eat a takeaway. Having to check out every day and check back in again is a nuisance. There must be a lot of waste in laundering everything every day, plus the unnecessary freebies.
Nice for a night or two
No Lounge to hang out
The room is clean and quite. Toiletries smell good. Surprisingly, I got starbucks for my breakfast.
The pillow is too firm for me.
First time at a capsule hotel, but I'd seen posts about 9hours on social media - and the image there promised a relaxed, clean experience. Some of 9hours buildings throughout Japan in impeccably designed and that was the case for 9hours Sendai as well.
